Part 16: What to do
"Ryugu palace, Ryugu palace please respond," a voice said over fishman island. The fishman in the streets looked confused. "Whats happening," a fishman said.
"Why isnt anyone answering, this is the border patrol and we have trouble coming from the fishmen district,".
"We don't think their here for a sight seeing trip," the voice said.
"Hey Star," Luffy said getting his attention.
"What is it," Star said before looking up surprised as he stood on Megalo and saw something flying in the distance.
"Can you see what that is," Luffy said before Stars body went bright blue.
"Damnit, this must be when Hody invades the palace," Star thought looking annoyed, "Hermione still there, what do I do, I cant just have Godzilla take her out of there and leave the rest behind,".
"Star," Luffy said.
"Sorry Luffy I was thinking," Star said. "Don't mind it for now, lets just keep going," he said as the light stopped covering his body, "If things start going bad hopefully Godzilla warns me," he thought looking serious.
What Star had seen were the members of the new fishman pirates on the back of sea beasts, "Today is the day, that we unite fishman island," Hody said.
"Mermen, mermaids and fismen must come together," he said, "Humans are an inferior race who cant breathe underwater like us and it is our destiny to rule over them,".
"Its time we end this once and for all,".
"Bahoho, today I celebrate my marriage to Shirahoshi, but theres no rush ill marry her tomorrow," Vander Decken said.
"The sun pirates, lead by Jimbei have already left," Dosun said.
"Neptune, Fukaboshi, Ryuboshi and Mamboshi," Zeo said.
"Once their gone will take care of the Neptune army," Ikaros said.
"Kya, lets tear them to shreds," Daruma said.
"I'll cut em," Hyozu said still looking drunk.
"Then let us begin, go capture your objectives and then we will be the rulers of the great deep," Hody said. The new fishmen pirates then headed in different directions.
Meanwhile at a fish bus stop that was heading towards the sea forest. A group of ammo knights were lying on the ground defeated.
"Get back up, she got away," one said.
Meanwhile the person on fish bus was Robin, "I knew I would find something here," she thought smiling. "The poneyglyph is here and this country might hold the key to the void century,".
Meanwhile back in the main room of the Ryugu palace. A beast roared as it pushed a wounded pirate into the ground before sending another flying into the wall with its tail.
"Well I only got to cut a few of them," Zolo said as he cut down another pirate while Godzilla stamped on another.
"Are the others beasts as powerful as that one?" Nami asked Hermione as the two of them were siting on the ground with Usopp.
"He never really tried to find out, hes had Godzilla longer then the other three, Drag came after it," Hermione said, "But theyre more dangerous if Heaven was here with them,".
"Natural born killers the both of you," the minister of left said getting Zolos attention.
"Well would you have done, serve tea to a bunch of blood thirty pirates who wanted to cut your head off," Zolo said.
"Yes actually, I would have had them sit down for a nice chat," the minister of left said.
"What's the point, their all down now so we cant ask what they were after now," the minister of right said.
"That's not my problem," Zolo said as Godzilla moved back over to behind Hermione.
"Guess its done," Nami said.
"Were stuck in the palace, how could things get worse," Usopp said.
"Don't say that, things really could get worse," Nami said.
"Well at least we have backup," Hermione said.
"Yohoho, your husband and mister Luffy must have already met the mermaid princess, I wish I could have met her too," Brook said.
"Why does that matter," Neptune said falling down next to them looking sad.
"Ahh," Usopp said as Godzilla looked at the king.
"Untie me this instant Jamon and give me back princess Shirahoshi now," Neptune said.
"Why would we kidnap the mermaid princess," Usopp said.
"Your captain and crew mate are the culprits," Neptune said.
"Now that I think about it, I did see mister Luffy and Mister Star leave the room on top of the shark, but I didn't see the mermaid princess in the room," Brook said.
"Brook, were the pirates outside the room before they left," Hermione said.
"Why yes, in fact some of them were sent flying by the doors being blown open," Brook said.
"Heaven probably knew the pirates were on the other side and left to get Shirahoshi away from them," Hermione thought.
"Hey don't go accusing those two of kidnapping," Nami said looking annoyed.
"But princess Shirahoshi wouldn't have left on her own and if she did someone would have seen her," Neptune said, "Shes almost as big as iam,".
"Wait really," Brook said imagining a princess who looked completely different to Shirahoshi.
"Oh I know what happened, the two of them must have tricked her and stuffed her inside Megalos mouth," Neptune said before the guards started laughing.
"Cmon your majesty theres no way someone would do something like that," one of the guards said.
"Yeah and even they did something like that it would be insane," one guard said.
"Actually I think that's what happened," Hermione said making the guards stop their laughing.
"So they really did kidnap the princess," Neptune said.
"Hermione," Nami said before Hermione stood up and looked at Neptune.
"No I think Heaven saw the pirates outside the doors and wanted to get her to safety," she said.
"He knew there were pirates were outside the doors Jamon, can he do that," said Neptune said.
"Honestly your majesty even I know it would take too long to explain what that power of his is capable of," Hermione said.
"Okay but what are we supposed to do now," Zolo said.
"Hey don't look at me," Usopp said. But what they didn't noticed was one of the pirates sitting up and pulling down the switch to open the passageway to the palace.
In another part of fishman island known as the sea forest. It was in a giant bubble and there were ship wrecks in the area. The thousand sunny was on the ground and there wasn't any damage to to it.
Franky was looking around as someone on the sunny spoke up, "This place is called the graveyard of ships, the strong currents bring them all the way here," he said.
"Its here of all places that the blessed sun tree eve allows the coral to flourish and whales gather here, they always know which place is most fetile,".
"I live here in the sea forest to study it don," he said.
"Its amazing, a wonderland in the depths of the sea, then again it's the same for fishman island" Franky said.
"By the way how did you get your hands on the jewel tree Adam wood, this is a mighty ship you have here and worthy of the materials used to make it," the male voice said.
"I thought you might say something like that, Tom used the exact same materials on Gold Rodgers ship, this ship is my masterpiece," Franky said.
"Ill handle the new coating for you, I can do that," he said.
"Thanks, but whats your name again," Franky said.
"You can call me Den," he said smiling. Den was Bering wolf fish merman.
"Say Den you and Tom don't look anything alike and youre a merman too, Tom was a cowfish fishman," Franky said, "I thought the two of you would look more a like since your brothers and all,".
Den laughed, "That's very human way of looking at it, I guess a lot of you look a like back on land, but we down on fishman island have our own genes, if octopus merman gets married and has a shark fishman, then that just mean he has shark fishman somewhere in his lineage," he said.
"Here on fishman island were not surprised what a child looks like. We never understood why you humans separate from each other based on looks," he said before looking at Franky.
"Say do you have robot somewhere in your lineage?" He asked.
"Nope all human," said Franky.
"I read all about you in the letters," Den said.
"Oh yeah old Lady Kokoro wrote to you," Franky said.
"Yeah she told me what happened, including what happened to Tom. From what I heard it sounded like he lived the life he wanted to live and since you came all the way here to tell me this, he had a great student under his wing," Den said.
"Uh no need to say that," Franky said touching his nose. Which ended up changing the way his hair looked.
"By the way who is that sitting over there," Franky said pointing at someone.
"Oh that's boss Jimbei," Den said.
"Boss," Franky said.
"Yeah hes waiting for someone, hes a criminal these days and so hes not allowed to enter the island don," Den said.
"Alright," Franky said.
Back in the Ryugu palace in the main room. Godzilla let out a small roar as it looked straight towards the entrance.
"Great what now," Usopp said.
"That face, Vander Decken so you've finally shown yourself," the minister of left said.
"Look its Hody jones of the fishmen district, whats he doing back here," the minister of right said.
"Hes," Neptune said.
"Used to be one of your best soldiers," the minister of right said.
In front of them was Hody Jones and Vander Decken.
"Whats going on here, I came here to start a war with Neptune and their all tied up," Vander Decken said.
"What is this a present for us, this could be a trap since things are going smoothly for us," Hody said.
"Damnit things are really hopping here, its just one thing after the other," Zolo said standing ready to fight.
"Please you need to give us our weapons," one of the guards said.
"Straw hats are you working with them," the minister of left said, "You brought them here,".
"Don't be ridiculous, you invited us here and I just explained that our captain and my husband saved your princess," Hermione said looking annoyed.
"I understand everything now, Vander Decken you were after my daughter this entire time," Neptune said.
"Oh come on dad lets try to get along," Vander Decken said.
"Iam not your dad and you will never be taking Shirahoshi," Neptune said.
"Why has she gone somewhere," Vander Decken said.
"The pirate was right, one of their crew mates knew there was trouble and took her far away from you," Neptune said.
"Guess hes on our side now," Nami said.
"What someone has taken my Shirahoshi," Vander Decken said looking surprised.
"Shes not your Shirahoshi," Neptune said.
"Hold on a moment Vander Decken," Hody said before picking up one of the wounded humans on the ground, "The humans you threw at her are still here, which means she was here a short time ago,".
"You have a way of finding her don't you," Hody said.
"Oh your right, you're a sharp one Hody, I think," Vander Decken said before heading outside in a bubble. He then kicked piece of coral before hitting it with one of his hands and it flew off before turning around.
"So shes not in the tower," he said before jumping onto the piece of coral, "Ive loved Shirahoshi for these last ten years, until death do us part,".
What the Hody and Vander Decken didn't realize Star had seen what happened thanks to Godzilla. While Luffy and Shirahooshi were laughing about something he was looking in the direction of the palace.
"Everyone, what do I do," he thought looking frustrated. "I have to let some fights happen so Luffy can get stronger,".
"Bahoho, if I cant have you no one can, ill kill you," Vander Decken said as the piece of coral chased after Shirahoshi.
