Part 17: Stars decision
Star clenched his fist as he watched what happen in Ryugu palace. "Hey why are you looking so angry?" Luffy asked looking confused.
"Mister Star," Shirahoshi said.
Back at the Ryugu palace, "No Vander Decken has gone after Shirahoshi, please Straw hats you have to stop them," Neptune said.
"You can have all the treasure you want, just please save my daughter," Neptune said.
"Your majesty I'm sure shes being kept safe," said Hermione trying to calm him down.
"How pathetic can you be Netpune and to think the hated straw hats helped us capture the Ryugu palace," Hody said.
"Hated," Nami thought before noticing Arlongs mark on Hodys arm making her look shocked.
"Nami," Hermione said noticing the look on her face.
"Jimbei told us there was something fishy going down in the fishman district," the minister of right said looking annoyed, "Are you the one behind all of this Hody, how could you do this when you were once one of Neptunes best soldiers,".
"Jahhaha, I had no pride in serving Neptune, I only joined so I could learn how to fight and now I'm even stronger," Hody said smiling.
"You fiend," the minister of right said.
"We fishermen have long been oppressed by the humans," Hody said, "I saw enough of it when I was child and I looked up to Arlong since he was able to turn the tables on the humans and now we of the new fishmen pirates will carry on his legacy," he said before laughing again.
"I trained to be Arlongs right hand man when he began his conquest in the east blue and then he was thwarted by a group of humans and that was you straw hats," Hody said while Nami still looked shocked.
"HEAVEN," Hermione yelled looking at Godzilla at getting everyones attention.
"Hermione what are you doing, these guys are crazy and want to take after Arlong," Usopp said.
"Wait Arlong, Ive never eaten Arlong before, Yohoho," Brook said before Usopp kicked him.
"I know you can see whats happening through Godzilla, I know we have to let some things to play out the same but theres already been plenty of changes," she said.
"What is she talking about," Hody said.
"The biggest changes are you and me being here, we both know once we get to the service the world governments going to come looking for you after what happened at Sabaody, so I'm asking you to do something now," she said.
Star was looking down on Megalo before he stood up. His left left arm then glowed as it changed into his boosted gear. "Luffy look after Shirahoshi, I wont be gone long," he said before turning towards the ground.
"Wait where are you going," Shirahoshi said looking nervous.
"Don't worry I'm sure will be fine," Luffy said smiling.
Star smiled a little before jumping off Megalo, "I sure hope this works," he thought. "BALANCE BREAKER," he yelled as loud as he could. His body was then covered in a bright blue light and after a few seconds he flew in the direction towards Ryugu palace.
After a few second he flew past Vander Decken, "What was that," he said looking surprised.
"Ive had enough of her talking, all of you step back," Hody said walking towards the wall.
"Yes sir," one of the fishman said as Hody walked up to the wall.
"Shark grip," he said gripping the wall as it began to crack.
"He hasn't taken any right," one of the fishmen said.
"No hes clean," another said before he saw something flying towards them. Then wall cracked as the sea water began to flood in.
"Crap hes going to flood the entire palace," Zolo said when Godzilla let out a roar.
"I think ill get revenge on that for my sea lion first," Hody said as he moved the water around his hand.
"Watch out for that," one of the soldiers said when a familiar male voice to the straw hats yelled.
"HODY JONES,". Hody then turned around only to be sent flying into the wall on the other side of the room by a giant blue fist hitting hm in the face.
"What the," Usopp said.
"Captain," one of the fishmen said when another tried to reach the attacker but was punched into the wall.
"WHO DID THAT," Hody yelled looking angry only to look surprised. Standing in the middle of the room was some in bright blue dragon armor. Wings stretched out of his back as there were two orbs. One on the back of each hand. Only two eyes showing from his helmet.
"Ugh, Hermione is that who I think it is," Usopp said looking surprised.
"Its like I told you Usopp, it would take a while to explain what his power is capable of," Hermione said looking relieved.
"Hermione find Nami, Camie and Pappagu, were leaving the palace," Star said not taking his eyes off Hody.
"Right," Hermione said as Godzilla turned into a small metal piece and went back onto Stars right hand in his balance breaker.
"So your one of the straw hats, gotta say I'm surprised by that punch for a human," Hody said wiping his mouth.
"Star is Shirahoshi safe," Neptune said.
"Where have you taken her," Minister of right said as the room continued to flood.
"Star, wheres Luffy," Nami said walking over Hermione, Camie and Pappagu.
"Ill take you four to them, Usopp you and Zolo and Brook will stay behind," said Star making Usopp look shocked.
"WHY ONLY US," he yelled.
"Its probably for a good reason right," Zolo said and Star looked at him and Nodded.
"Wait take his Majesty with you," minister of left said.
"No I must stay, you must go quickly Star Jamon," Neptune said.
"None of you are going anywhere, Shark arrows," Hody said throwing water droplets at Star as he opened his left hand. A bright blue orb beginning to form and growing big as he held his right hand open.
"Look out for those," one of the soldiers said as the water droplets started to turn sharp.
"Dragon shot," Star said punching the orb in his hand and firing it at the water droplets. Destroying them before the energy reached Hody and caused a small explosion.
"I got these ones, certain death green star, Raflesia," he said shooting out a pop green and it turned into a flower that let out an awful smell at the fishmen heading towards Star.
"Uh what is that," said one of the fishmen.
"I'm not holding up so good," Brook said as Usopp held him out of the water.
"Alright, Nami, Hermione on my back," Star said turning around as they each grabbed a wing. He then picked up Camie as Pappagu jumped onto an arm. "Sorry will get to Luffy faster this way," he said.
"Its okay," said Camie.
"Star we need to go," Nami said as the room became more flooded.
"I'm sorry King Neptune," Star said.
"I understand Jamon," Neptune said before Star flew out into the water. Nami and Hermione had bubbles thanks to the coral Camie gave them.
"Quick untie us and give us our weapons," one of the soldiers said as Zolo cut Neptune free.
"We need to keep our end of the deal and keep the hostages safe," Zolo said.
"Truly honorable," the minster of left said as Zolo jumped into the water.
"Hes going to pay for that," Hody said when he saw Zolo in front of him with all of his swords, "Get out of the way, this kingdom is mine," he said.
Out in the water, "Focus, to Luffy," Star thought. Under the armor his body was covered in a bright blue light. A blue portal appeared in front of him and he went through. Then another appeared on Megalo making Luffy look surprised. Star flying through with his passengers. Then both portals vanished.
"If I came back the same way we would have ran into Vander Decken," Star thought putting Camie down.
"Luffy," Nami said jumping off Stars back.
"Nami, wait what happened at the palace," Luffy said as Hermione got down as Star put Camie and Pappagu down. Balance breaker then came off as Star immediately sat down and turned his left arm back to normal.
"Whoa hang on are you doing okay," Pappagu said.
"Mister Luffy whats going on," Shirahoshi said getting Nami, Pappagu and Camies attention.
"Is there someone inside the shark," Pappagu said.
"Hey wait something is going on down there," Luffy said pointing at the ground below. They were now at Coral hill. There was trouble going on as the fishman and mermaids looked at Sanji and Chopper who was looking at Hachi.
"Don't play dumb with us pirates, more mermaids were kidnapped at the southern coast, where did you take them," one the mermen said.
"Hey we didn't do anything, sure I love mermaids and would love to carry one but I wouldn't go as far as kidnap them," Sanji said.
"You just said you would," one of the fishmen said.
"Hey Sanji, Choppper," Luffy said.
"What kind of trouble did you get yourselves into now," Nami said.
"Hey its Luffy and some of the others, wait why are they on a puffer fish," Chopper said looking confused. Since Shirahoshi was in Megalo he looked a little bigger.
"Oh there's a crowd down there, you better stay in there," Luffy said looking at Shirahoshi.
"Okay," Shirahoshi said trying to close Megalos mouth.
"Wait theres a fishman near Chopper," Hermione said.
"Hachi," Nami said looking surprised, "Luffy get us down there," she said grabbing onto him.
"Heaven," Hermione said and Star nodded. Luffy picked up Nami and Star did the same with Hermione before they jumped down and ran over to Hachi.
"Whoa," one of the fishmen said.
"Hachi who did this to you," Luffy said.
"He wont say anything, he just keeps telling us we need to leave," Chopper said.
"Hachi can you hear us," Nami said.
"Ugh, Nami, Straw hat," Hachi said sounding in pain.
"Star can your powers do anything for him," Chopper said.
"Yeah, but Im going to need your help," Star said walking forward.
"Hey what are they doing here, didn't they take over the Ryugu palace," one of the fishmen said.
"They probably tried to take the mermaid princess but couldn't," another one said.
"Ah straw hat, theres something wrong with Megalo," Pappagu said as the shark looked uncomfortable before opening its mouth and Shirahoshi fell out.
"THE MERMAID PRINCESS," Camie and Pappagu yelled along with the rest of the crowd.
"Shes huge, wait did they say princess," Chopper said.
"Chopper did they say princess," Sanji said. He hadnt seen her when she fell out.
"Wait Sanji dont turn around or youll die," Chopper said looking worried.
