MOTHER

[A Parody of Boney M's 'RASPUTIN']

Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey!
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey!
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey!

There live a certain woman in Marley long ago
She was big & strong with her eyes a-flaming glow
Most people looked at her with terror & with fear
But to Marley folks, she was such a lovely dear

She could preach the Bible like a preacher
Full of ecstasy & fire
But she also was the kind of teacher
Marleyans would desire

Ma ma Mother
Lover of the Marley King
There was a pig that really was gone
Ma ma Mother
Marley's greatest war machine
It was a shame how she carried on

She ruled the Marley land & never mind the King
But the power she had was really daring
In all affairs of state, she was the one to please
But she was real great when she had a man to eat

For the King he was no wheeler dealer,
Though he'd seen the things she'd done
He believed she was a holy Titanness
Who would win his war

Ma ma Mother
Lover of the Marley King
There was a pig that really was gone
Ma ma Mother
Marley's greatest war machine
It was a shame how she carried on

But when her drinking & lusting & her hunger for blood
Became know to more & more people
The demands to do something about this outrageous woman
Became louder & louder
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey!
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey!
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey!
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey!

"This woman's got to go" declared her enemies
But her daughters begged, "Don't you try to do it, please"
No doubt this Titanness had lots of hidden charms,
Though she was a brute, they just fell into her jaws
Then one night some men of higher standing
Set a trap, they're not to blame
"Come to visit us" they kept demanding
And she really came

Ma ma Mother
Lover of the Marley King
They put some poison into her wine
Ma ma Mother
Marley's greatest war machine
She drank it all and said, "I feel fine"
Ma ma Mother
Lover of the Marley King
They didn't quit, they wanted her head
Ma ma Mother
Marley's greatest war machine
And so they struck her 'til she was dead
Oh those Marleyans!
