Sauske and Naruto wove through the crowded streets, desperate to reach home. Naruto slurped his ice block, marvelling the cool sweet taste. Sasuke bit his, and even though he didn't like eating sweets , it was certainly a treat in the heat.

"Hey Sasuke...slurp...slurp...What're you going to make for dinner?" Naruto asked.

"Fried rice, some spinach and sausages" Sasuke said bluntly.

'Hmm...All he ever eats is rice" Naruto thought disappointingly.

Sasuke's looked over at him and added "Maybe instead of fried rice I consider making ramen".

Naruto stopped licking his ice block and stared at him with wide eyes. "Are you serious? Really?!" he asked.

"If you stop nagging me...I'll think about it" said Sasuke. What Naruto didn't know was that Sauske had already bought the ingredients to make ramen. He figured it would be best for him to eat what he wanted. Otherwise he would just sulk like a little puppy. Imagining it in his head Sasuke found it to be quite amusing.

Naruto grinned happily "Alright!" He put his arm around Sasuke. "I won't say anything. Promise!" he said.

Sauske was a little uncomfortable with the physical contact but he ignored Naruto thinking he might tease him again about being sensitive.

As they walked Naruto started feeling bored. He was just itching to pull of some kind of prank. He looked over a Sauske who was holding his ice block.

Naruto suddenly sprang forward and bit Sasuke's ice block, taking a huge chunk. He laughed cheekily, enjoying the stolen bite.

Sasuke glared at him "Eat your own usuratonkachi" he said. Naruto only continued laughing. That is, until Sauske grabbed Naruto's wrist and ate his ice block.

"Hey!" Naruto whined.
"You had it coming" said Sasuke.
"Humph. Now your saliva's all over it How am I supposed to eat it?" Naruto complained.

"Aren't you the one who used my toothbrush this morning?" Sasuke said.
"Wait...That was yours?!" Naruto said astonished.
"Tch. Stupid dobe" Sasuke muttered.

"But still, that doesn't mean we should share food. I don't like it and you taste horrible" said Naruto and slurped his ice block.

"Saying that after you kissed me twice. Baka" said Sasuke and walked ahead of him.

Up until now Naruto has distracted himself from the thought of what happened the night before. As Sasuke said it his face flushed and he thought 'Kissed him...twice?! What does he mean? Don't tell me that's what I did?!'

"Wait!" Naruto said, jogging up to catch up with Sasuke. "What do you mean twice?!" he whispered.

"I don't have to explain it to you" Sauske said.
"Come on tell me" said Naruto.
"No" said Sauske.

"Please" said Naruto.

"Please"

"Please"
"No"

"Come on. Don't keep me in the dark" Naruto complained.

"Yes. You did. And it was your doing not mine" Sasuke finally answered.

"What? I don't even remember. Why'd I do that?" Naruto questioned.
"Why? Ask that to your yourself" said Sauske.

Naruto was silent for a while. Then he finally managed to ask "So ummm. We didn't...do anything like that did we?"

"No" Sauske quickly replied. His heart was beating loudly and he was slightly panicked.

After that they were both quiet.

"Hey Naruto! Sasuke!" said a voice. It was Kiba. He stood with Hinata, Ino, Choji and Shikamaru. (It seems they forgot about Shino.) The two boys went over to chat with their classmates. They began discussing about their first mission.

"And then Akamaru had a fight with the lost cat" Kiba said. If it wasn't for Kurenai sensei I'm pretty sure the old lady who hired us would've screamed her head off. I mean she was like really emotional when she got her cat back."

As he said this, the little puppy was on the ground, circling and sniffing everybody wanting someone to pet him.

"K...k...Kiba. You shou...shouldn't say things...like...that...a..bout others" Hinata stammered, barely being able to talk in front of Naruto.

"So what lousy mission did you guys go on?" Choji asked.

"We didn't go" said Sasuke.
"Huh? Why is that Sauske?" Ino asked in a sweet voice. (Though it actually sounded cringey)

"I wasn't feeling well" said Naruto.
"O. Really?" Kiba said.
"Ar...Are you...fee...ling any b..better Naruto?" Hinata asked shyly.

"O yeah! Don't worry about me. I'm already feeling better!" Naruto replied. Hinata blushed even harder and hid her face.

Naruto suddenly realised that he had finished his ice block. He looked disappointingly at the stick, then eyed the one Sasuke had. He was licking his ice block though he didn't seem interested in finishing it.

At first he was hesitant but then he thought 'Well...I used his toothbrush so what's the difference?'

"Hey if you don't wanna finish that can I have it?" he said to Sasuke, pointing at his ice block.

Sasuke looked at him, and without saying a word he took the ice block from the inside of his mouth and gave it to Naruto. The blonde haired boy took it and happily licked it. Naruto didn't notice and Sasuke didn't care about the reactions of the other genin.

Sakura, who had just arrived, was arguing with Ino when they both saw it. They stared at Naruto in astonishment and disbelief as he slurped the ice block. The colour of Ino's and Sakura's faces became red with anger.

"Why the hell is he sharing food with Sasuke!" they thought.

Hinata in the other hand looked at Naruto still blushing a deep shade of red. Her eyes did widen though when she saw what happened.

Choji on the other hand looked greedily at the ice block, wondering if he could eat it.

Kiba smiled mischievously and asked "I don't remember you guys sharing food. What's with the sudden change?"

"None of your business Kiba" Sauske stated.

"Hey Sasuke, lets go home" said Naruto, grabbing Sasuke's hand.

Sasuke stood his ground and pulled him back swiftly. Naruto happened to have turned around midway. The two were now very close, their shoulders brushing against each other and their faces even closer.

For Ino and Sakura it was way too close.

"Stop being in such a hurry" said Sauske.
"But I wanna go home and you know..." Naruto chuckled mischievously.

The other genin stared at Naruto, having misunderstood what he had been trying to say.

'Go home and do WHAT exactly?!' Sakura's inner self screamed inside.

'Wait...HUH! What does he mean by that?! What in the world is he doing to MY BOY SASUKE!' Ino thought angrily.

'Go home and...and...' As she was thinking Hinata blushed and, unsurprisingly fainted.

Shikamaru raised an eyebrow. 'What's up these two?' he wondered.

Kiba stared at them with wide eyes and titled his head backwards. He only stopped so that he could catch Hinata as she fainted.

Choji continued to munch on potato chips. However he too stared at Naruto strangely.

Sauske was the only one who thought 'He really is obsessed with ramen'
"Do youever think about anything else?" he said.

"Hey. I like what I like. You can't change that fact!" Naruto said with a smile.

The girls were having a hard time trying to control themselves. They didn't want to act violently in front of their 'dear Sauske-kun'. And judging by what was going on they didn't dare beat up Naruto. It would only anger Sauske.

Still, Sakura was already fiery red and steaming with rage. And Ino has her mouth wide open in shock like a fish.

"Fine. We're leaving" Sasuke said to the others. "I suppose I'll have to serve you well if you're that hungry".

"You'd better! O and...dessert would be nice..." Naruto said in a playful tone.

"I have to take a shower first, dobe" Sasuke said.
"O me too! But you'd better do it quick. I can't wait any longer" Naruto complained.

"Tch. Shut up dobe."
"You shut up, teme!"

The two walked away in the distance and the genin that were left behind looked at them in shock, curiosity and disbelief. Their reactions remained unchanged.

"What just happened?" Ino said. She was absolutely baffled and also very angry.

"Who knows?" Shikamaru said.

Sakura on the other hand felt anger consuming her and jealousy rushing into her heart. She immediately started screaming "What the HELL is that blondie DOING?! I swear I'm gonna KILL HIM!"

Even Akamaru had something to say (or bark). He suddenly yapped at his owner and Kiba widened his eyes again.

"Really?!" Kiba asked his dog.
Akamaru yapped again to confirm.

"What is he saying Kiba?" Sakura asked demandingly.

"Well...he's saying that when he sniffed Sasuke...he had Naruto's scent on him" Kiba replied.

"Huh? What's that supposed to mean?!" Ino screeched.

"Not just his scent. It seems chakra was exchanged too. My bugs are reacting for some reason" said Shino. He had somehow arrived and was just standing there.

"O hey Shino. Where were you? Kiba asked.

"You left me outside the Hokage's building without remembering to wait" he said.
"Oh...yeah sorry" Kiba said. Akamaru whined an apology as well.

"Sorry Shino" Hinata also apologised. She had woken up just a minute ago.

"Hey! Explain! What you mean that Sasuke has Naruto's scent or that they exchanged chakra?!" Ino asked.

"Well...um...I didn't realise it because all of you guys were mixing up the scent. And as for why...well..." Kiba rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.

"What is it?!" Sakura asked.

"For somebody else's chakra or scent to be present in another person, so much so that it's detectable, it means that they would've had a lot of physical contact" Shino replied. "Right Kiba?"

"Yeah..." Kiba said, a sly smile widening on his face. "You think those two are...up to something?" he said wiggling both his eyebrows.

Shikamaru looked at him with eyes wider than before. The potato chip that Choji was about to eat was halfway towards his mouth.

Hinata blushed beet red and fainted, again.

Meanwhile Ino and Sakura both screamed:

"NAAAAANNNNNI?!"
