"Long before time had a name, the First Spinjitzu Master arrived on our world. A mere child, to find a world engulfed in chaos. This chaos was caused by Wojira." Benthomaar starts the tale. "The mighty serpent of the wave and the storm. The First Spinjitzu Master knew, that for life to blossom in this realm, Wojira had to be stopped. With the help of the Islanders and the Merlopians who dwelled in the depth of the sea, they confronted Wojira. It was a fierce battle. Wojira was too powerful. All was lost, until Nyad, the first Elemental Master of Water, leapt on to the beast and saw with her own eyes the source of Wojira's power. Two strange objects which Wojira wore upon her forehead. Nyad knew what she had to do. But alone, Nyad could not stop Wojira. She had to become a greater power, the ocean itself. She merged with it, a state she could never return from. She sacrificed herself to save the world. As for the power of the wave and the storm, the First Spinjitzu Master gave the first to the king of the sea, and the second to the leader of the Islanders for safekeeping. When the seas calmed and grew still, the First Spinjitzu Master created Ninjago, and the world was in harmony. Balance. But now, my brother seeks to change that."

The Ninja stood in the bridge of the Hydro Bounty as they listened.

"He's got one amulet already." Nya said as she took a step forward. "We can't let him get the other!"

"With both, he will awaken Wojira and create a wave of destruction not seen since the dawn of time." Benthomaar said.

"We need to go faster." Jeanette said. "We need to get back home."

Cole pushed himself off the console. "Whoa, Jen. We can't afford for you to be strained and pass out again."

She turns to him. "What's that suppose to mean!?"

"Guys, stop!" Lloyd took a step forward. "Jen, Cole has a point."

Jeanette huffed as she turned and stalked out of the bridge, the Ninja and Benthomaar watch her.

"The whales are pulling as quickly as they can." Nya said. "Remember, it's their world that's at risk too."

"Let's just hope Kalmaar hasn't been able to locate the second amulet." Lloyd said.

At the docks, Kalmaar and his troops prepare to retreat into the sea as he holds the Storm Amulet.

"Nothing can stop me now. Not in this parched, dry city. Submerged below the waves." Kalmaar said. "Picture it Gripe. Streets, turned into canals. Buildings and homes, flooded. Vehicles rusting away below the waves. A playground for fish and."- He turns just as Master Wu arrives and kicks him backwards into Gripe.

"Now is not the time for amateur urban planning, foe" Wu said.

"I will destroy you, old man. And when I say "I", I mean them." Kalmaar points with the amulet towards his Merlopian guards, when they didn't move he turns to them. "What are you looking at? I'm talking about you, you fools!"

"Oh, yes. Forgive me, sire." Gripe quickly said. "Attack!" The Merlopians start attacking, just as Kai arrives.

Kai shoots fire at them, but the fire has no affect. "Huh?"

Ray comes running, flipping down to take down two Merlopians. "Haha! Two for one!" He picks up a trident and swings around. "Be fast, my boy!"

Kai shoots fire at it. "Right back at you, pops!"

Ray ducks, just as the weapon takes down two Merlopians. "Nice one, Kai!"

Jay cheers loudly as he does Spinjitzu on a few Merlopians and Gripe, knocking them down.

"Fire! Fire!" Gripe orders.

The Ninja turn just in a torpedo slammed into the docks, knocking them off the dock.

"You're not leaving with that amulet, Kalmaar!" Wu yells.

"Actually, I am. I'm literally doing that right now. Here, watch. Oh look! This is me, leaving with the amulet." Kalmaar said as walks to the end of the dock.

Suddenly Skylor swings in and kicks him, knocking the amulet out of his hand. "I'll get it!" She tries to get the amulet, but is grabbed and pulled back by Kalmaar and he points his charged up trident at her. Wu charges and leaps at Kalmaar, only for him to be knocked back. And slowly, the Ninja are surrounded.

"Master Wu!" Skylor cries. Wu turns around to see Kalmaar had an arm around her and his trident pointing at her head, but Master Wu had no choice to give up.

"To my chariot!" Kalmaar calls.

The Ninja are tied up together to an anchor.

"Ninja. What does that even mean in surface-dweller language?" Kalmaar said as he stood on his chariot.

"A Ninja is one who protects."- Wu starts.

"It was a rhetorical question, I don't really care." Kalmaar said. "Drop the anchor!" He orders, Gripe does so, only for him to drop it on his own foot and he hops around in pain. "Ugh, drop it in the water!" Gripe kicks the anchor with the same hurt foot, making him again cry out and hop around.

"Get ready to hold your breath!" Kai yells in warning, just seconds before they're pulled into the water.

"Finally, the true Storm Amulet." Kalmaar said as he looked at it. "Not that useless fake from the island." He turns around. "See you in the deep, Ninja." He watches as the Ninja rise from the water.

"Wait, what?" Kai asked as they rose high into the air.

"The Hydro Bounty!" Jay cheered.

"But, I left this ship stranded!" Kalmaar gasped, pointing at the submarine as the tied up Ninja jump off it.

"You did, but we got a bit of help from some friends!" Nya calls, and the whales jump around Kalmaar, spooking him as he clutched the amulet.

"Sis! Guys! Great entrance!" Kai cheers, Jeanette uses the trident she had taken from the underwater palace, and cuts the rope with it.

The Ninja soon stand together before they start fighting the Merlopians, defeating them.

Nya jumps down from the high part of the Hydro Bounty, coming face to face with Kalmaar.

"When I strand land-dwellers, they're supposed to stay stranded!"

"You know, I'm starting to really enjoy ruining all your evil plans!" Nya said before she fights Kalmaar, but is defeated. "Where's my son!?"

"You're not going to be seeing him for much longer." Kalmaar thrust his trident at her, but is blocked by another.

Benthomaar held his own weapon. "Your mad dreams of awakening Wojira are over, Kalmaar!" He said as he helps Nya up.

"Brother! It's not too late for us to work together. As a family, against these surface fools!"

"No! I will not fall for that ploy again!"

"Ah, I don't need you to fall for it. Just distract you long enough for this!" Kalmaar said, sending a blast at Benthomaar, which he dodges. But Gripe hits him from behind. "Farwell, surface fools!" Kalmaar calls as his chariot leaves.

Benthomaar grunts, gaining Nya's attention. "Go! Stop him before he gets away!"

Nya turns and leaps on a whale, she closes her eyes and lets her water do the talking.

Kai and Cole run up to the railing of the submarine.

"Nya talks to whales now?" A shocked and slightly confused Kai, turns to Cole.

"Yeah, its a new thing."

"Cool! That means I can do that!" Rocky's excited voice had the two jump started and turn to see him standing nearby.

"Rocky!" The two cried in relief. Rocky runs forwards and jumps into Cole's arms.

"Are you ok? That creep didn't hurt you, did he?" Cole asked as he hugged his son tightly.

"No. I'm ok."

Cole set him down, and Rocky and Kai hug.

"You had me worried, little man." Kai as he ruffled his nephew's hair.

"I'm sorry." Rocky apologized.

"Where were you?" Cole asked confused.

"Fish face had me tied up in his chariot." Rocky answered. "I was able to escape and swim back to the surface." He then beams. "Dad! I can control water!" He exclaimed brightly.

"It's true." Kai clamped Rocky on the shoulder. "Both me and Wu witnessed it."

Suddenly a giant explosion erupted from the water, gaining everyone's attention.

"Nya!" Cole cries, running to the railing and grabbing the railing. "Nya!"

But suddenly, a whale comes close to the submarine and Nya climbs up the ladder.

"Nya!" Benthomaar runs over to her. "What happened?"

"Kalmaar got away."

"Then he will continue his senseless quest to awaken Wojira." Benthomaar said as he stood.

"Well, he won't get far without this!" Nya reveals the Stom Amulet using her free hand to set on on the roof of the Hydro Bounty.

"Whoa!" Jay cheered, bouncing in place as Master Wu picks it up to look at it.

"The Storm Amulet." He breathed.

"Woo hoo! You did it, honey. You saved the city!" Maya cheered, walking over to her.

"I couldn't have done it without you, mom." The two hug, and the team cheers. Kai turns to Rocky and gives him a nod.

Rocky walks over to them. "Can I have a hug?"

Nya pulls away from her mother. "Rocky!" She cries, running for him and tackling him in a big hug, nearly choking him. "Oh! My baby!" She sobbed as she held him tightly.

"Can't ... breath." Rocky wheezed out.

At the Monsastery of Spinjitzu, Nya is showing Benthomaar around.

"And we do a lot of training here in the courtyard. Mostly because Jay's powers started an electrical fire that destroyed the practice room, which he blamed on Kai." Nya was telling.

"Your Monastery truly is a wonderful place." Benthomaar said with a smile.

"The kind of wonderful where you could see yourself staying for a while?" She suggests, making him frown.

"I don't understand."

"I wasn't giving you a guided tour just for fun. I talked to Master Wu and the others, and ... we know your home is the sea, but with your brother still down there, we thought you might wanna stay with us for a while."

"You are inviting me to stay? With you? Here?" Benthomaar gasped with shock.

"Yeah. I mean, only if you want to."

Benthomaar smiles. "I would like that very much. Yes!"

"Great! We'll get you a good room. You'll never even hear Cole snoring." Nya quickly pauses. "Oh well, maybe a little."

Inside Borg Tower, the elevator dings and the doors slid open to reveal Lloyd walking out.

"Daddy!"

Lloyd yelps as he's tackled and stumbles backwards after two bodies slam into him.

Jeanette laughs as she and Kai walk out of the elevator.

"Hi dad!" Blaze happily waves from a table where he and Cyrus Borg are at.

Kai walks over to the table. "Doctor, thank you for looking after Blaze." He said, ruffling his son's hair. "You didn't have too."

"Oh not to worry Kai!" Borg smiles. "All three of them were good helpers for me today."

Lloyd limped over, cause Faith is hugging his right leg and refused to let go, while Alizah is on his back. "Just as long as they stayed out of trouble."

"These three were a great help!" Borg smiles, he places the remote he was holding, down onto the table. "So, how'd it go out there?"

The three Ninja look at each other, then look back at Borg. "It was half and half for both sides." Jeanette answered.

Lou Brookstone opened his front door and an excited Rocky ran in.

"Grandpa, Grandpa!" He cries while bouncing. "I have water!" He cheers just as Cole and Nya walk in.

"Which it still in the beginning stages." Nya told him, and he pouts.

"I always thought he would get your powers, Cole." Lou admitted with a frown as Cole plops down and folds his arms as he sits backwards on the couch.

"Well, you win some, you lose some." Cole sighs.

Rocky was still bouncing as he runs into the kitchen. He grabs a chair from the kitchen nook and pulls it to the sink and holds out his hand, palm facing the faucet.

Back in the living room, Nya is hugging a pillow as she's sitting down next to Cole when the three adults hear and felt a large boom that came from the kitchen. They jump up and run to the kitchen.

"Whoa!" Cole breathed, his eyes wide.

Rocky is sitting on a chair, in the middle of the kitchen, with a mountain of dirt under the chair.

"He has both powers now." Nya breathed as Rocky clutched the chair he was sitting on.
