Teen Titans Chaos Round Arc – Part Two – Against All Odds; Chapter One: Pretty Little liars

/

Mind the title, bit of a mess. On with the arc, part two is officially up and running! ~

/

Verra and his team had led an exciting life of fleeing and causing confusion wherever they went; Hakuro was nothing of the sort, spirits of mischief were frowned upon in his home world, so that he would have to put away those souls on occasion. His job was to spot danger from the lands of his kin. These dogs, were however…. Unorthodox in their methods. So brash -willing to bite a man's leg without taking one of their other options currently surrounding them! Logic dictated this relic's every fibrous being. Hakuro was forced to follow. He was cursed by his brand placed onto him by his own mindless curiosity. Rokuro had left the kid to be the reason for the fall of the Ethereal kingdom in the -

Ehem! Besides POVs to come;

/

Lady Alue had become a cowardly ruler of her very own home -realm; she hid behind men and soldiers twice her height, this was what rulers such as herself did without batting an eye.

Yet, Verra didn't buy the act so easily as she'd expected.

He knew of how the council purposely bred fear into their members to keep them in line. Lady Catalina Daia was an example, so was Lady Light.

Cecelia Daia at one time or another had allowed her sheltered self to be kempt from harm, even Kay and Sayu had almost turned into power -hungry beasts during those corrupted sessions. Yet both the Eternal and Celestial realms held immense power over those of the spirit realms and even the Ethereal as well. A' had abandoned them to stay well away, or else she too was in mortal danger of falling out of and from grace.

~ A' isn't going to give aid to her kin this time. ~ Verra frowned as the trio had landed in what looked to be not London, though in the present day's Tokyo, Japan.

As soon as their feet had all but touched the ground, sirens soon wailed out in the distance; riots had broken out. Railways up top had stopped running, permanently, while children were crying for their parents as spectrally born goblins chased the many mortals down dark alley ways. The sound had risen and Hakuro had to shield his delicate ears from it all.

~Where…. Has this…. ~ He panted, feeling weaker already from the landing.

~Tokyo, is under attack. ~ Kay gawked at the mayhem that had erupted this soon into the game.

~Why…~ He turned to a trembling Hakuro; who'd asked the question first, his eyes narrowed down at the ground.

~Why?! This…. This is, mass chaos! It is unbelievable…Purely, madness! –

~No!? Yah think? Cause, it looks to me like… -

~Rockslide! Ten o'clock! –

The white fox pointed out the sheer obvious; Verra's sarcastic remarks would have to be put on hold until the upcoming danger had passed. A building the size of the Sydney Opera House was coming down at full force right at the miffed, three relics and their perfect hides.

~Yah! ~ Kay lifted a palm and had the building's debris slowed from its loud crash into the streets. His levitation of the mess was impressive, though he dropped the recovered wreckage to place it to the side afterwards, then sniffed as he proceeded to dust off his garb with a few forced pats. Gawking, both of the other men he had come to earth with were aware of Kay's regality and untimely upbringing. Getting what he wanted night and day must have left the scarred pup a bit too much a poodle, barely a retriever.

~Are you done pruning your feathers? ~ Hakuro tapped his foot, crossing his arms into his lengthy sleeves like an impatient sage of olden days.

~Sort of –

~Don't piss anyone off today, you are so –

~Let's, just go through with the mission. Dog duo. ~ Hakuro easily left the circle of conflict, while the two pups had only just finished with spitting back at one another.

It was, relentless! Hopeless…This stuffy chaotic bubble had already infected the dogs, and the longer that Hakuro stayed on this plane, the greater a chance he'd have in being enveloped inside this wafting miasma for all time!

A bus was tossed by an angry shadow figure. Vee send his spear to send it back, protecting the frightened men and women who'd woken from Hypnos's control. So then, his power could be broken?

~I don't enjoy tirelessly aiding you, ingrates. The council is one to speak of perfect world orders…~ The relic in white shook his head and looked to the scenery, then in every other direction. Chaos. He did not want to help them. He wanted to be left inside his tiny realm without shame or blame splattered upon his robes of a missing saint in action.

Tokyo was smashed to bits. It was as if a hoard of Kaiju (typo) on the attack had splintered the country of Japan from…. Quite surely, the rest of the known world!

~I know! ~ Hakuro turned back towards the fussy mutts with eyes widened in sheer excitement; he'd solved the mystery - or at least a fraction of the foe's plans had been cracked.

~There is more than one adversary! This is not the main location of the evil those cowardly monks predicted us to find! I do know! I can find –

~ This battle is all but won…~

The scream of a harpy pierced the air as the dogs looked up, their eyes fixated on two moving figures in and above the sky line's view. Kay's seven tails gleamed anxiously as his eyes lit up to match his snow white, regal appearance of a youbi warrior.

~Anna! ~ Kay shot up onto his cloud transport; a relic of air and wind, Kayumon had every inch of a desire to save every living creature as the next Guardian, even if the daemon's elders had forbidden him to become involved. The Chosen and his siblings though, were another story.

/

Raku looked to his companions and then stood stalk still, feeling deathly afraid of his own influence, and of his permanent and shaky pact with the promised Chosen of the present day.

Aiden was upset; his enemies had the upper hand. They also had his sibling, had compromised his youngest sister's health and abilities, and had left the eldest stranded – out of breath on this desolate earth he'd once known HOW to protect.

Raku looked over to Connor, to Zatanna, to Damian who'd come to bring more firepower to the team, to Starfire who was in mourning over the loss of her red- headed daughter.

And, where then was he supposed to fit in!? Was this why the gods had wanted Aiden to rethink weaning the djinn child into a more, humane existence, as ludicrous as it sounded -it did sound foolish now?

It wasn't possible, because he'd just destroy the lives of those he'd chosen to watch over. Again and again by the cycle's accursed will…He could not become a guardian. Nor a relic like Hakuro, who had been forced to –

~I…Can't keep it, this form is…...This has to end –

~And? So, will doubting your choices change their minds? Aiden is a bother…He promised us all, peace. He knows nothing of what we can accomplish –

"Shut up! –

Raku threw his hands over his mouth. No…. It…. It was impossible! That…. That demon was dead! That…No…

~Aiden does not understand. Too, perfect to understand our pain…He's not what we desire in a contracted soul –

~Stop…. He's helping

The voice only grew louder…. Her…. No…He knew full well what that incarnate of his fears had been before Roku had stolen its energies. No…He'd subdued it as the demon within!

The voice let out a sultry chuckle. The demon from the brothel…. From his leave unto the sands…. (Wattpad story.)

~I did no die, you needed me here now. This is why I still exist. Why I still thrive within YOU. ~

~Don't interfere then. ~ Raku commanded shakily. ~ You should listen to me, if…. I…I did –

~Boy, I was your first creation. Not the son, but your lunar body. The wild thoughts you had that night which caused a stir. And when WE spilled the blood of a guard hound such as –

Stop it! I'm not to think of those days, the time is…is wrong! Go to sleep another –

Fool! ~ It laughed and made the shivering half -son gulp as his knees buckled back in the real world, his eyes turned to the color of a cloudier sandstorm red.

~If we want to protect this Chosen, we have to take charge. He's not developed that power of creation as WE know of its great impact…. As Azag left to his only heir, MANIFESTATIONS -

~I'm dead to that world! We know nothing and as it should remain I will relinquish it…He gasped, breathing in his lungs too full; full already of his guilttty past and all its influence over him in the present day.

~ I'll never ~-

~Oh, but you will! ~ Cackled the evil entity to the quivering spirit. Raku's small ears had returned to their moon shape; his eyes were still as they seemed, lost in that red fog. Connor had not seen the switch, yet Raven was attuned to noticing such dark energies and immediately rushed over.

He was keeping up a red whirlwind barrier. A small yet powerful one to keep others away. Raku was just like Raven. With that ugly thought, she frowned. How her father had dictated her whole life for so many years. This Azag was not presumably evil Isa had told her, yet the thoughts the Eclipse Daemon's child currently possessed were being fed to him by something.

That made Raven wonder if Raku had also been an empath in the past, prone to being possessed or overshadowed -which was why the deity of the spirit realms were afraid! He was a gateway for others! Then if –

~Aiden! ~ Raven called over to the struggling blonde as he gasped at the magic in his wake; he was failing everyone…. No! He could not lose anyone else!

~I'm coming! Fight it! Don't give up! -

Raku turned to the scared Chosen with his eyes brimming over with crystalline tears. His heart was there, even if it was tarnished since an eon or so ago. Aiden froze and saw it all. ~He's not going to keep it…NO! ~

~I'm sorry...! ~ Raku hiccupped; just a small demi -god being overtaken by a force of evil from deep within his subconscious mind. Aiden shook his head and shouted out.

~RAKUU!~

The rest was as if poor Raku allowed a demon to burst from his chest with such force, that the intruding body had to have its bewildered host sit up against its threatening form. Raku was on his knees, barely able to see all he'd started, and would be bound to end all over again.

~The gods, should kill me, again…. No…~

Without wings, the demon that had breached the boy within, was no succubus, it was not a harpy, nor a wraith. It was of a power that eclipsed the moon; this body being of a woman, almost the archetypical demoness within Lil's range and height. Its eyes red and black, its hair as ebony as a pitch-black beginning. It looked as a female version of Rokuro, or…Raku…But grown.

~No…. Dude! ~

~She…. Did…Not…. You!! ~

Kori rushed in as Aiden did the same, Gar turned into a large tiger as he went onto the full offense.

The character was the slender beginning of Raku's pained awakening.

A madness he'd kept sleeping.

Roko.

One fairly, crazy, witch with a grudge.

And carting around one curse after the next that could bring out the worst in the Titans of Earth. To their knees. As the city continued to burn in this timed -pocket throughout the universe. Chaos had indeed sown its seeds deep within the hidden crevices of California's rich soil.

A perfect match.

She grinned as widely as a hungry beast to its quaking meal. One laid out bare before it to taste and lap away as it so pleased. Her words spiked rebellion in her enemies before. The same power that Roku had in his prime, now hers to command at will.

~It's good to be wanted! ~ She swayed in mid – phase, her eyes gleaming and full of lust -one for bloodshed Aiden guessed.

~ Ah, even in death, here is better than nothing! Come at me, you insulting allies of MY Chosen!~ She dipped her head back with red tendrils of miasma slowly encasing poor Raku away from his protectors.

~I have a delivery to make! So, play nice with my hydras! Byeee! ~ With another wave and a grin, she teleported, far away into the sea of time and space to do some more dirty deeds while the son of Azag was still corporeal. She'd make this arrangement something to put down in the history books; the boy demon's rebirth sparked his very first creation to rise – and enslave the many planes of existence. A bit lengthy, but he was her king for now and always. Right now, though?

Another queen was awaiting her in the depths of a different void…. Somewhere on Earth she'd been calling out, filling the incarnate's brain up to the brim with hope. Hope; in a future she could sink her sharp teeth into.

/

Cecilia cussed at the confines of her frilly, useless gown. It certainly didn't suit a tot, let alone it reduced her beauty a quarter of an inch. How droll.

She awaited the end as Madame Eris did, the arrival of a very important person; a boy who's life was about to be cut out of all of existence. No, no! Not the CHOSEN. He'd done his part. He'd saved an important life, right?

LIES. NEVER. That 'boy' he 'saved' was born damned and would so remain as thus, by how the gods did so decree it. How Cici was willing to see what he looked like; crumpled on the ground, moaning out in sheer agony. How her beloved sibling Alicia had turned to a corpse right before the elder blonde girl's eyes that day, a blind soul was lost to them all thanks to Slade's pact. (Teen Titians arcs previous.)

Like the blind leading the fairly - compromised blind . She hated that expression, saying that one who saw nothing was invariably lost in an immense fog for their entire -if not, whole lives!

~I am not blind, for I see very clearly. And he…~ She gritted her teeth and sat down in her seat; a spread of foods too early to be served was not yet ready to surround the exiled princess , yet the placement would be exceptionally grand, so she'd heard elsewhere.

She'd grown up in a palace, had known all the steps and procedures the cooks had shown her in her youth. Yet was it enough to drag him back out? To do away with the real criminal?

~We shall see if you'll turn your nose up to my just desserts. ~ Cici chuckled to herself before another brief telepathic message had come through from her jailer.

~I was hoping you'd also be in good spirits, my dear Crescendo! ~ Grinning back, was Eris in her whitest 'summery' of dresses she could manage to duplicate; probably off of a model from some human's magazine title, a bit shorter though.

Bangles at her wrists and ankles, gladiator sandals as in the history books, and a strangely marked pendant at her throat, the goddess spoke out;

~I want you to feel honored; for you are participating in the crowning of a new ruler to chaos and its infinite level of possible outcomes, for I shall crown you too as the ruler…Of the under-realms as you've always wished, should our plan bear my fruits of chaotic imaginings. ~

Cici stood up quickly in her seat when she'd heard the proposal. ~It is so, that you might re-animate the Alicia your dream -times depict, I did say you'd have all your heart could handle. Will you not accept my generous offer? Beloved? ~ Batting her eyes gentle, Eris made herself and her offer seem both irresistible and gracious to the outcast royal of the fallen Crescendo line.

Alicia, could be real again? For her sake? That, that must have been why she'd stayed beside Hecate! To know of her knowledge, and her secrets of the powerful void of …...

~Yet, if I fail…My life will come to an end. ~

Eris nodded back through the link. ~ True.~

The forces that they had witnessed strip away their freedom, had tainted both women to this day. The Crescendo line had become borderline as a keeper of lunar rites.

As with Chaos, which did mirror Order constructively on other planes, Cici's lunar rites were intertwined with such a cursed art form.

Here, on Earth though? It was as if Hecate had trusted no one to hold onto he secrets, that time would continue and nothing should remain as before. What a bleak existence the women had led. Yet, now as of this hour where she stood, Eris was hoping to break a taboo seal that no one had ever intended to undo. The reasons remained unclear to this unclean specimen of an immortal.

Eris leaned into the link; where her face and eyes burned closest to her young devotee.

Those orbs of dis- order became a hidden link to the witch's very heart and desires that she craved to unlock for her little servant girl.

~I don't intend to die without first having left my mark on this plane. If we do this, we'll be just as guilty, lf not more, then no more so than that gullible dragon king was at casting his craft out in the open, I recall the 'headline' from my cell. ~ She spat out his old title, as if her ears would bleed by the very sound of that, ugly name.

~I don't…I don't know if…Should my love be forever realized, then I'll gladly wish…~ Cici's eyes alit with a new plan. The Chosen was important! If Raku wanted someone close, close enough to envy them….

~I have an even better theory, if you will? ~ Her dark – widow's 'pose' reverted unto itself, as Cici's eyes of a cunning sorceress reappeared before the Goddess of Chaos and mass destruction. Her eyes bright and shining back from amid the dark room.

Eris grinned and leaned into her small hands as she replied back; her eyes as green as was known of all greed to be. ~ Why, certainly!~ She replied, eagerly awaiting the other witch to relay everything to her.

~Your heart doth not tire of ruining lives for a sinner's sake. That is what I love about you…You are a queen to your own domain. Just as I…So, then? This, plan that you propose? ~ She egged on the darker sorceress to continue with their discussion, on how to further torment their common enemy.

~ The child who, holds in her mind the entity known as the Ethereal soul, Alice, is within a girl named Lisa Viscado here on the Earthen plane. ~ The dark mage explained, carefully. ~ Her heart is confused; whether to hate the life she now leads by the gods' orders, or to live as a human as she was born to such a form. Yet, my sister's soul can diminish her disbelief, as long as it may find a host to inhabit for a time much longer, with the exception of the girl becoming a puppet before she's forced to give up on her own existence. If the Ethereal Alice is overshadowed as well by this re-born entity known as my sister, then Lisa and that clumsy Ethereal will not be a threat to us. We may even gain a weapon if we play our cards right. Just as Roku used his son to fight in his battles for –

Eris clapped, and it made the dark widow pause before swallowing after her last explanation had been uttered.

~You've got quite the brains! How did you come up with a plan such as this, I wonder? Borrowed from our mortal enemy? So tragic! So? What connect, pray tell, does this…Lisa - girl have to the Titans of Earth and their allies? You know so much, as if you've been…Near them, before…~ Eris's eyes narrowed as the clapping soon seized.

~ I admit, I was once swayed to join them in their fight. Yet, I soon realized that this Chosen's judgement was not as solid as he'd claimed and rebelled. I do not agree with L…Hecate's unsound judgement. ~ She paused once more while Eris was busy awaiting a real apology for having had her time wasted.

Licking her lips, Cici continued. This time, the taste of apples was bare. She could only taste sweat dripping where it was not needed below and above her.

Her deceit and cunning had granted her partial freedom, yet she was not free. Another had wished her ill, should the ex -princess madden her angered ally anymore, she'd lose her chance to end Raku's life by her own hands -and to have Alicia to herself again.

~I…I could infiltrate their tower, make this matter go away –

~And miss out on all the fun we are about to have? Oh, my dear! ~ Eris's attitude was altered, as if she'd not wished for Cici to go off on her own without a proper reason to die first. Dripping and rife with sarcasm, those words stung as a thousand-pointed plops of acid onto her ….

Cici gazed up to see where that 'sweat' had come from. Her eyes grew wide and only mirrored the dinner plates she'd have yet to set out onto the wide table later.

~ Should I have my pet digest your putrid thoughts for you? No, for I am the one to send my warriors away…You? You are, far too precious…It would sully your delicate nature far too early. ~

A worm; a slimy, dripping serpent hissed from up on the ceiling and inched its way down to topple the wide table into two equal pieces. Lightly, shards of wood splintered and scattered all abound the space, with nowhere else to hide oneself while the worm was good and starving for attention. Like a sightless grub, it smelled the air and hissed as it grew more aware of its surroundings.

~If that were my physical body, dear…. I would never let it go…~ The goddess's eyes of both blue and red started to sparkle at that afterthought, her every pore desired by all! Yet, Cecilia rejected her! She had to pull that rebellion from the girl's body, now!

Cici trembled at the mere sight of the dirtied cretin. Its beady eyes the red she loathed. The green scales were a rusty brown to her stunning yellow orbs of a half -harpy.

She crawled backwards into a wall, of all the rotten nights! Now she was about to be molested and devoured within its god -awful smelling gullet! Of all that-

~Dormit! ~ Her arm raised up to lower the creature; its eyes bolting shut as its massive weight was too much and came crashing down onto the witch's defenseless form.

~Ah! ~ She winced and tried to push the tired beast off of her. The goddess was toying with her, as if this were a game! How cruel!

~As I did just state to you, my dear; you are a fun little figurine to me! Why would I want to see you shatter into a million tiny, insignificant pieces? That would be upsetting, even to a goddess who enjoys a good deal of messy havoc. But I've taken a shine to you, my private session…We'll have more fun than that darling doll you call a sibling! So…Give into me…~

Cici squirmed away, trying her best to avoid the creature's bumping into her thigh and next, torso. It had no fingers to grasp her, yet its tail and tongue were of an equal length as those two extra limbs she'd imagined it to carry. Arms and a set of feet, maybe a beating red heart.

Cecilia had to run, anywhere was fine; for once you went under contract to a monster like the Titan's daughter of olden, you'd not live to tell the tale. The other blonde, angry witch smiled through the chat line; her lowered eyes imagining the very best punishment in time for her new…plaything.

Cici decided to tap into the only power she knew to control. Invisibility. She cared not for that critical gaze, it was only a signal to move, and quicker than the speed of light.

~Cloak thy shame! Illusion unbound! Escape to -

~Agh! ~ She saw the drooling beast 'churn' as it stirred from above her. The wicked witch elsewhere was laughing enough to break the walls apart.

~Div -Divine! Off!GET OFF OF ME!~ Her power over darkness had the creature still, as if held onto puppet…No, spider's thread. She'd learned to control another's summoned monster. And perfect timing! The beast had been so close to making her a morsel of this, potentially deadly viper.

~Ah, oh! That was interesting….And no words needed to chant….Congradulations! ~ Eris mocked the other witch while pretending to have been led out of shock by the scenario.

~You ARE furthermore, a high – sorceress after all! Those pretty eyes were not all for show and tell…Then we must do what is called upon us by those GODS and their swollen egos! ~ The evil queen shooed the worm back into its hole; a separate ability she'd been able to use for a very long time. Eris tapped the glassy reflection in front of her, glancing back at her own startled servant.

~Take care of the Chosen for me. If you do this, we may stall his evil ally's conversion. I don't want any competition, do you understand –

~Then let me try my luck with the girl, Lisa. ~ Cici got to her feet slowly. Unperturbed by her own behavior and actions, she stiffly pressed on within this delusional field of existence.

Eris groaned and with a frown, rubbed her soft temples slowly. Not over. She had pardoned the beastly spider in all ways she knew; with her kindness as tender as a wrought of cold iron to the flesh of a maiden in exile. Her tension was starting to build as before. Meditation was useless to her!

Damned be thy king's name…Ares, had her brother done as he too was expected and located her real enemy? Had they located that child, Concordia, yet?

~Argh!...Aha…Sweetie? Did we not just have this discussion? You don't command MY armies. You are mine; and if you want your little bitch of a princess back, then stay on my good end!~

~Fine, as you wish it. ~ Cici withdrew and wasn't afraid, she was trying to be as willing without losing herself in the process. Maybe Eris had a hidden weakness. Right now, she was off he leash. This would give Cici time to retaliate.

As Eris tried to control her own fury from within her late soul's company, she gritted her teeth and swept back her blonde, flaxen strands with an exasperated sigh of disapproval.

~Fine. ~ She forced out through her grinning lips. Be it her temperament, or her vendetta against god -guilty sinners such as this fabled Priestess of Crescendo's laws, she had no choice but to take the girl's words as her own. She was, easily fixated on this one; her sorrow a melody the goddess of strife could not let herself un-learn. She knew it by heart by now.

~ To kill a god, one must think as they, yet the life of another is precious. We do not stir for 'mortal ties.' ~

Yes, as Eris had been told since her regal birth; do not get involved in the affairs of mortal man, for his wishes are putrid as his heart is shallow. He knows not of kindness, only of his desire to live and see no end as he has been called to know by his birth and the stars in the sky. The cosmic order is never untrue, that man cannot tempt a god to change his fate- however….Many gods had been so weak as to cower before man.

Raku, had once been of the spirit divide and of a god's bloodline. He'd abused his rites and had sided with a fallen goddess, a demoness to regain control of time and space alone. He'd even betrayed his teachers on both sides of order and chaos. He was inferior as a god, as a man.

While Eris, had been scorned for all she was. As goddesses of witches were almost always demonized and called weak by their male counterparts unless, unless they were to bed kings and princes or lords and brothers of the great gods themselves.

Ares, was definitely not on her strongest 'yes' list. He still was a god of war on other planes. While 'she' Eris, had not yet seen her doppelganger in this newfangled reality on this Chosen's Earth.

Eris had been told that she could bring down kingdoms to ruin, to drop them into the seas of time and to reawaken olden days with her wrist bare - now from being coated in the blood of those lives she had sullied in the process.

Cecilia Crescendo, did not own to this sort of craft of the gods. She was tainted, yet walked freely beside them as if their equal. They still considered her a threat, and yet, they honored her words of an individual and almost -student to the Goddess Hecate.

She had left that life behind; deciding that she would not allow these omnipotent figures to control her thread and life - line to the world in which she'd dwelt for thousands of years before.

She'd sided with the Succubus Mother, Lilith.

When the girl had been told that her power was strong, and she'd be left to train with the Crones of olden underground for the rest of her days as a seer to her capital, the child ran.

She then met with Lilith; who'd been dining on the priest's souls within the Queen Daia's keep. Queen Catalina had gone to save her relative Lorelai Ainsley, from her abusive husband in the far north of her cousin Queen Lori's Scottish realm of spirit.

There, she'd left her young daughters back in the Southern Aisles; Cici being the age of six or so, and her sibling actually having been three and quite chatty. Too much as the story went, that Cici had no choice but to protect the palace more so by herself in order to keep her young sister calm.

She'd sneaked down into the cellar and had found the place coated in the priest's blood. The Witch Lilith from the Middle East of Babylon's dead days had a set of nails that were spattered in their innards and life -forces. This frightened the child, for her magic was not yet at its peak.

Cici had run, to the only place she could think to go. To a temple grounds where a sacrifice could be made to protect her people.

Lilith had gotten to the same place and had coerced Cici to reconsider the fact that her mother was too blind to see what she had left of her eldest heiress to her golden glory.

She was just a tool to this city, an image that would one day be left to rot away, never loved by her people as her sibling Alicia too would become detached from her life led once she came to know of her power of the sun.

The realm would be destroyed from the inside as the Harpy in Cici was tugged at to emerge.

It was not until later in time; when the earlier Chosen and Power- source of Earth, Richard Grayson, (earlier arcs) had aided the Guardians in with his friends and allies, saving the strich's student from her fate - as the last to know of that Crescendo curse.

That time, when her sibling Alice - Alicia had been reborn, she'd also used up her time on that Earth. For Alice and Arisu had been made real again by a callous male, Slade Wilson of Earth.

Simply a meta -human and a killer who's death was uncertain on his runs, he had done as Roku had instructed and had brought Alice back into the world by the dragon's magic with his powers of Manifestation. Wishes made into reality. A demon among the gods!

Cici's demon or rather alter as the Black widow, had appeared to guide her away from being controlled by the dragon when she'd vowed to face her sibling Alicia, before the child's demise and well after.

Wiz Greg had reared her a bit under his wing and the priestess finally became his pupil, then returned to her mother's sect to take on the role she'd been expected of since her first breath of life.

She then followed patiently behind Lady Hecate, with her adversary being a Guardian of Darkness known as Vespa. Vespa was a reaper in training and also a runner up to become a vassal of the Lady Queen Hecate. Cici too had already been chosen to this rite, while Vespa became envious of the false - traitor's past and her loyalty to the Under realm High- Sorceress of Witches.

Cici finally snapped; her ideals still as unclean as before. Her guide the Black Widow not yet of the Turned stage and unable to steer the blonde sorceress back to her post in time.

Hecate had not seen Cici betray her trust. She had simply, vanished. The only site Cecilia had last visited had been in San Remo at a large music event, where Esme, Kay and Cliff had seen the witch in her black garb return to another plane through a wide portal.

Cici was a deserter.

A child with only her desire to have her sibling back in her arms, even if she tried to let that unholy love affair go. Aaron Stellanova of the Solaris sect had taken the girl's unrequited love away; he still existed, and that was why she was willing to tempt the Chosen, to bring out Stellanova from his mind for their last battle.

To see him turn to stardust as he'd had Alicia do by her confession of their love.

She had no love in her eyes and heart, Eris realized. This was a cold desire; a desire for control. As if a spoiled princess wanted her doll or her prince back so that no one else could have him or it.

It. Then, the sibling was a tool. Cici intended to use such powers? Eris needed to see how it all played out. As her eyes narrowed down slowly, she nodded and rested her head into her hands at the very sight of this dark whelp's determination to defy the Immortal gods.

With her eyes now batting again softly, she let a smile grace her lips while the sorceress in her frills was left defenseless down below.

~Then, shall I give you another gift? You will be no match for this warrior's will. I can make this fight short, you will have that princess for yourself and nothing more. ~

~I will gladly take any aid from you, My Queen of Chaos. ~ Cici bowed a slight forward. ~Tell me the secret to defeating my target, and my devotion shall be to your war in its very entirety. ~

Eris tapped a finger to her chin and hummed as the proposition seemed too good to have come from the other traitors lips.

~Yet the Ethereal's light that has blinded me before, I want to know how to stop it. My Chaos is strong enough to subdue the host, yet not to see to snuffing out the Ethereal's light from my senses. ~ She said.

Cici nodded and decided to seal her forever- pact with a false promise. ~I have the power to do more than seal her forever back within that void-less -place. ~ Cecelia replied coolly with a small smirk.

~I know how to force that being to open up the gates which lead to the higher realms. ~ She lied, the goddess buying her talk for now.

~You do, then? ~ Eris raised a brow and sat back on the seat of her dais. ~The witch WAS holding out on her. How defiant.

~Then see to it! For your queen to rule, I must have no threats left to oppose me. Black Widow Sorceress; I grant to you the limitless power, of seduction –

~Wh…a! Hold on ,Wait! ~

Too late - as the portal's swirling winds pulled Cici through from behind. Eris was growing in power, she had to fight this madness away as a swarming cluster of flies to a dying carcass.

Fated to die, if she didn't bring back proof of her success.

Seduction? There was no way she could use a succubus's tongue to –

~You! You cannot! No! I promised! That…you cannot ma –

~Children should listen to their betters. ~ Eris turned away and motioned to leave the connection for good, leaving Cici begging metaphorically, on her hands and knees to be set free only after she'd no sooner humiliated herself on this new mission.

She'd never known true freedom, anyway. How, ever could she consider gaining amnesty from the worst apple of the aged Olympians? Eris was the last person to show pity to anyone -let alone to her own flesh and blood.

~I'll see to her turning away from the light for good. ~ Eris smiled as the link was shut from view. She'd have to see to the others; Momus was busy with Hypnos and Medusa, while the Gemini brat had lost a brother - now with his hateful soul inked black as the night sky, ready to avenge the other's death.

~Hmm, I could use a new lap dog. Should she end up crushed by her desires. ~ Eris chuckled to herself and sent forth a new link to be opened, to where the Gemini brother lay in tatters, bleeding beneath the lights of Paris where he had not yet burned out as a star and into open oblivion.

Cliffy here! It got super long so I'm putting my foot down -not like a giant kaijuu down, but pretty close. Roaw? ~

Anyway! Due to Cici's infatuation with practically owning her twin for life, and Eris's distrust in anyone more powerful than her, both are like cats and dogs, oil and water. The perfect match to be frenemies to say the least.

Raku's lost memories are not lost, but hidden away to prevent his eclipsed or darker side form taking hold. Anyone who is reading or has read the Wattpad story will know what this entails. Traditionally, Raku was a poor bastard son of Lord Azag ; an overseer of the Dune Capital in the Eternal Realms of the past, and a hereditary witch who was banished by her merchant parents due to laying with Azag in the first place. He was raised by his mother, a wise old witch and healer named Grandmother Sarah, and his mother's caretaker -a jackal I form of a man who'd become a lazy, abusive drunkard and had only his tent and belongings to spare for the banished family left under his wing.

Truth being told, the jackal was originally sent to the Mortal -Bound sphere of the past BY Azag to protect his son and wife from harm until Raku had come of age. Basic mythos.

Lilith hated that she'd once been revered as a queen among the gods, but lost her throne (inn another space time void separate from Raku's) yet she knew of Azag and his gift to visit separate time lines while controlling his demons in the process. It was taboo to do this, but as an Eclipse god and desert Relic of Time's hourglass, it was his job to record everything his eyes laid witness to.

As far as Lil's jealousy and spite, she desired a place above them, and vowed to make her ancestors and descendants pay for turning her pleas away. She corrupted the drunkard in man's skin and had him eventually murder Raku's mother, naming himself the boy's official caretaker for life –

The celebration of Raku finally becoming a man (12 years old was that time in this universe,) made their location in the city; a brothel with all the fixings, the perfect place for Lilith to finally corrupt the last Son of Lord Azag.

However, Azag was summoned into a contract unofficially when his son called out. He'd somehow killed the jackal man in cold blood, and had sought the protection of his father.

In the desert much earlier when Raku had run from his abusive family setting, he'd met Azag and had tried to seek out the god only then in the form of a desert serpent made of sand and wind.

After that, Raku had been very ill in his new life, and had to overcome a test by the Egyptian Goddess Isis and many others to claim that he was worthy of standing beside his father.

He gave up one thing, his vulnerable mortality, and soon kept only the magic of Azag's rites.

That being of prophecy and wishes -of his Djinn heritage (That's right, Azag has the magic touch!) Manifestation.

And so, getting back to the whole iffy bit with Roko returning?

She was the manifestation; an aspect of hate for those who oppressed her (like a second or dual personality,) from within Raku when he'd killed the Jackal protector who'd turned corrupt, trying to offer them both off to Lady Lilith (who'd been disguised as a prostitute that whole time.)

She; Roko, was his feminine angst because in that arc on Wattpad, he'd been forced to wear an outfit that made him mirror Lil as just another prisoner under her power. He was still miffed, but she came back and finally convinced him in ANOTHER form, that once Azag had already passed, the rest of the kingdom's staff would treat him badly, as a cursed child to a nearly -corruptible figure of mysterious ends. Azag was almost a reaper, or Chronos in another body that went through voids to see about events and to record them for his 'bosses' at that time.

F.Y.I; Roko was not the catalyst which led Raku to madness, but she did give him a push in that direction – Lilith more so started these events, andd even tried to return through Roko. This was why the self has such a love hate relationship for those it follows, it's a teen version of the dragon, unable to change until now?

Raku could not control his magic, and thus was labeled weak by many of those who'd worked with Lord Azag for far longer. They feared that Raku's influence had made the great Djinn Lord Azag weak, and that he was just meant to rot one day as his father had been forced to fight off negative energies every time he returned from his work on other planes. That, was what eventually killed him, by the way. So sad….Sniff*

So, this story is going to dive deep down. Better bring your scuba gear, no Atlantis in sight but we may just jump into Eris's backstory and much, much more to come in arc part two of; The Chaos Round! Look forward to it and read on, stay curious!
