The death of Riser Phenex is a shock to every Devil. The heir of the Phenex family killed by a mere pawn will no doubt bring shame to the family which angers Lord Phenex. The lord leaves his seat and wife to go after Issei for this embarrassment. He sees the brat talking to Sirzechs alongside Riser's Peerage and Grayfia and once he sees his daughter Ravel alongside the one that killed his son, he goes mental.

"Ravel! Get away from that peasant now!" The lord shouts at his daughter who is shocked to see her father.

"But father, Issei won fair and square." Ravel said which angers his father even more. He raises his hand but Issei grabs his arm and puts him in an arm hold. He glares at this so-called lord. "If you were going to slap her then I will rip your arm here and now."

"Unhand me bastard!" He shouts at him as Grayfia puts her hand on Issei's shoulder. "Hyoudou-san please."

He lets go of the lord but he kicks him in the stomach, making him fall to the ground. "Issei! What are you doing?!"

Rias yells as her and her peerage runs in and checks on the lord. "Lord Phenex, are you okay?"

"You will pay for your pawn Gremory!" Phenex proclaims to the shock of the heiress but her brother says something that shocks them both.

"Actually he is not going to be punished." Sirzechs said, which makes the lord get angry again and get back up.

"What are you talking about?! A pawn should pay for killing a king! My heir as well!"

"You see," The Lucifer said as he pulled out a large book. "According to the Rating Games Rulebook, in the event a king were to die in a game then the killer may have his peerage. As such, the killer will then be named King. Issei Hyoudou is now a king and can't be punished because this is a sanction duel."

"But it is for other kings! Not pawns!" The lord argues but Sirzechs just shakes his head and goes to a page that explains that rule.

"No it says the killer. It doesn't have to be a king."

Rias and Lord Phenex are shocked by this news. The lord walks away grumbling to himself. "I'll make him pay."

Rias grabs Issei by the arm and holds him obsessively. "No no! He is mine. My pawn."

The Boosted Gear user releases her hold over him. "Go away, Rias. I don't want anything to do with you."

"What the hell is the matter with you?" Koneko demands as Issei scoffs at her being threatening. "Because I know the truth."

"The truth?" Sirzechs questions as he explains. "I died because of a fallen angel named Raynare and I began to find it suspicious that she came and revived me just as I was killed. Then I realized something, she let that crow kill me so she could turn me into her pawn."

Grayfia is shocked and looks at her sister in law's pale face to know if it was the truth. "How could you do this? We give people choices if they want to be a devil or not."

"But I needed someone to defeat Riser." She tries to excuse herself but Issei yells at her.

"Then train and do it yourself! Or hell train your peerage! This is why I don't want to be with you or your club anymore because you just want things to come your way instead of going out and doing it yourself! You are a spoiled brat!"

"How dare you?! Brother, are you going to let him insult me!?" Rias whines to her brother, who facepalms.

"Sister, you are proving him right. Come with me, we are going to talk about your attitude." He said which shocks her and he grabs her to teleport them both. Rias' peerage is shocked that she is going to be punished and they put the blame on the traitor. Kiba and Koneko run at Issei but Karlamine and Xuelan block their way.

"Get out of the way. As a knight, I must make him pay for disrespecting Rias." Kiba summons his sword but Karlamine takes out her sword as well and prepares to defend her king.

"Come on guys. Let's leave and wait for Buchou." Akeno orders the peerage who reluctantly follows her as she leaves but one of them, Asia, looks at Issei sad that she may never see him again and runs away with tears coming out of her eyes.

Grayfia is disappointed at her Sister in law's peerage for their actions and talks to Issei. "I apologise on behalf of my husband. He and his father spoiled her and it seems she taught it to her rook and knight. Please come with me."

She walks away which confuses Issei. He follows her with his new peerage. "Where are we going?"

"We are going to meet your family. At least, that is what Sirzechs and myself believe to be." Grayfia answers which confuses the martial artist even more.

The group walks to the very edges of the Underworld. Far away from the city. Ravel looks around and sees a village which surprises her. "I thought there is next to nothing outside of the city."

"That was nothing but a lie. A clan of powerful Devils in reality live in this village. It was their reward for helping us in the Devil Civil War." The wife of Lucifer explains as someone runs towards them. The unknown figure throws a punch but Issei blocks the strike.

"Looks like we got some bitches trespassing. Time to die!" A muscular blond man with black sclera eyes shouts with a huge grin. Other black sclera people surround everyone. Issei fights the attacker as his peerage takes on the others. Grayfia flies in the air and soars into the village.

"Who are you?" He demands as he punches the attacker but he grabs his arm effortlessly. "The names Raian and I am going to dominate this battle."

The named attacker kicks him, staggering him and Raian punches him in the face. The hit sends him flying but Issei lands on his feet only for another kick to be inches from his face. He grabs his leg and strikes his neck but he grabs his fist first. Ni and Li try to hit their attackers but they are dodging Neko's attacks and hitting them. Karlamine blocks a katana strike and Xuelan crashes into her after being thrown.

"Stand down everyone." A voice is heard as all of the black sclera warriors stop fighting except Raian who is still holding Issei. "Raian."

"Tch fine Grandfather." The blond maniac lets go and looks at an older man walking beside Grayfia. She introduces the man to everyone.

"This is Kure Erioh, Clan Head of the Kure Clan. Lord Erioh, this is Issei. The one I told you about."

"A pleasure to meet a fellow Kure." Erioh looks at Issei, who is confused.

"I am a Kure?"

The clan head nods as he looks at the young man, more specifically his eyes. "Only those of our clan can have our eyes. Come along."

Everyone walks with the elder and takes them to the center of the village and home of Erioh. They walk into his house and sit down to talk. Beside the clan head is Raian and a girl with her hoodie up, who sits next to him. The supposed Kure looks at them and wants an explanation. "How could I be a Kure? My family knows nothing about Devils."

"That is what we will investigate" Erioh assures him. "Our clan has records of all members so we should know if your family had a Kure descendant. But what about your martial art? How do you know Hokuto Shinken?"

The king looks at his hands, one is normal while his left looks like it has red dragon scales, a consequence for sacrificing his arm against Riser. "I don't know. It was like my mind was telling me to fight and move."

"Hey kid." Ddraig speaks to him and give him instructions. "Ask them about Kure Raoh."

"Issei?" Isabela looks at him as he is just staring into space. She grabs his hand to regain his attention.

"Sorry Ddraig told me to ask you about Kure Raoh." He said which gets every Kures' attention with Erioh thinking about the name and seems sad.

"That would make sense. Kure Raoh was my younger brother. He talk about wanting to create a martial art for our clan but disappear during World War 2. We search for him and we only found his journal, notes of what would eventually be Hokuto Shinken. If you are his descendant then we need to test you." The head of Kure looks at his grandchildren. "Raian, Karla, I want you to face Issei in battle and don't show any mercy."

"Yes grandfather." The hooded woman said as she pulls her hood, showing a beautiful woman while Raian smiles at the chance of the rematch. "You got it old man."

"Very well." Issei gets up but someone yells. "WAIT!"

Mira gets up and glares at the Kure. "I will not let Issei fight by himself!"

"Stay out of this child. This is between family." Erioh warns the pawn but she shakes his head. "I don't care! I'll gladly face everyone to protect my king."

"I'm fine with her by my side." The Boosted Gear user tells everyone with him looking at Erioh. "Consider her a part of my family."

The clan head stares at him and makes a decision. "Very well, Raian and Karla will face Issei and Mira in our dojo."

The dojo is filled with Erioh, Grayfia, and Issei's peerage sit to watch the battle between Issei and Mira against Raian and Karla. A Kure referee stands between them and raises her hand. She puts her hand down. "BEGIN!"

Karla appears in front of Mira and kicks her in the stomach. Issei looks at the fight which gives Raian the chance and punches him the face. The Boosted Gear yells and returns a strike. They hit eachother at great speed, both of them becoming blurs. The Dragon Emperor punches him but he grabs the fist. Raian grins as his skin turn purple and muscles bulge from his skin. "Let me show what a real fight is like."

Issei's pawn hits Karla with her bo staff but she ducks the attack and elbows her chest. Mira tries to thrust her staff but the Kure girl grabs the weapon and snaps it over her knee. She tries to punch her but is kick in the stomach and falls to the ground. "You know I don't even want to fight you. I want to fight the king."

"Rook Promotion!" Mira shouts and kicks under Karla's feet and falls to the ground. She kicks the downed Kure but she grabs her leg and twist it as her skin changes. "AAHH!"

"What? What is this?" Ravel gets up shocked at their transformations.

Erioh answers. "This is Removal, our clan's special ability. Through generations of breeding, we gained the ability to remove the limiter in our brains to unleash our latent muscular strength."

"Is this based on how humans can only use 10% of their brain?" Grayfia ask which the elder nods. "Indeed however every percentage is different for every clansman. Raian and Karla have the highest in our clan. Able to use 100% and 85% respectively."

The Phenex heiress is about to run but Marion and Burent grab her and hold her down. "Milady if you go there, you may get hurt."

"Let me go! Mira can't fight anymore! Let me replace her!"

"I'm afraid I can't." Erioh said to the bishop as Mira falls to the ground with her leg dislocated. "She wanted this fight and most see it through."

"NO!" Issei shouts, seeing his pawn is downed and his hands glow red and fires concentrated blast of energy. They hit Karla and Raian. "Hokuto: Iron Palm Wave!"

"Everyone get down!" Grayfia orders as everyone lays on the floor. Two balls of energy hit the wall and creates holes. The two Kure fighters get up and even though they have wounds, they are still ready to fight. They run at Issei with Raian punching him but he blocks it and kick him while Karla jumps at the Boosted Gear user and he grabs her. She holds him by crossing her legs on his waist which confuses him. "Are you hugging me?"

"I want your baby." She states which makes everyone shocked, especially Erioh. "Become my husband!"

Her demands stops the fight. Issei stands with a blank look. He grabs her and place her down. He turns around and runs away but not before grabbing Mira. He knocks over the door as he runs. Grayfia looks at Erioh, who is gritting his teeth. "Perhaps that was the best decision."

The Boosted Gear user runs with his pawn under his arms, who is blushing with how close they are. They make it to Erioh's study room. Rows of books surround the office and in the center is a desk with a book on top of it. He picks it up and reads the title: "Kure Raoh's Hokuto Shinken. This must be the journal he was talking about."

"K-king." Mira stutters with a blush. He realizes his mistake and puts her down. He looks at the book that has information on a style he can unknowingly do.

"That is the last object of my brother." Erioh appears to the two devils. Issei walks up to him and is about to defend himself but the Kure Clan Head raises his hand. "We will talk about this another day. For now, I want you to use the journal and recreate my brother's techniques. You are the only one here that can use Hokuto Shinken."

He walks away, leaving only Issei and Mira in the room. The pawn looks at the book in her king's hands and ask him something. "What are you going to do?"

"I'm going to train. How about you come with me." The Red Dragon Emperor offers which makes her smile at the idea.

"You would have me?" She ask and he just nods as they both sit down and read the journal.

A month later, Issei and Mira are in another dojo hitting a wooden training dummy. Issei kicks the dummy which rips it's head off. He grabs another dummy and place it next to Mira. "Okay now you do it."

Mira focuses and feels aura course through her body. "HAH!"

She kicks the dummy and it is broken in half. "I did it!"

She hugs Issei and looks up at him. "Nice job Mira."

Ravel walks inside. "Issei can I talk to you?"

He nods and grabs more dummies and places them next to Mira. "Sure. Mira, try and destroy these dummies. I want all of them broken when I get back."

"You got it! HAH!"

*CRACK*

The Boosted Gear user and Phenex Heiress walk outside, seeing many go about their business. "I assume that you are going to train everyone?"

"Of course. I want everyone to be strong." Issei said as they sit down at a candy booth. "We will have two caramel apples."

The cook nods and begins making the candy while Ravel warns him. "When you killed Riser, you threaten every king that watch the fight."

"Oh right. Sorry for killing your brother."

"It is okay, my brother is a monster that needed to be put down. But my father and other kings are not as forgiving. They may go after the others just to hurt you."

Issei gets angry at the thought. "Then I must make them strong. Do you have any ideas."

"There are ways to make them strong. Mira is making leaps and bounds." Ravel explains and their food is delivered. She bite the apple and smiles. "Hm so sweet! My suggestion is Ile and Nel. I know a way for them to be stronger."

"Tell me more." Issei said as he bites the apple.
