Ravel: "Nel and Ile are from Kyushu. The island has been taken over by a renegade off-shoot of the church. They are anti-devils and have been killing any supernatural beings that come. Their parents are leading the resistance. My advice is go there and help them. Their clan are powerful warriors."

Issei and the twins are standing at the deck of the cruise ship, heading to Kyushu. Ile pulls on his shirt to get his attention. "Come on Issei. Let's reenact Titanic."

He sighs and walks to the bow. The twins jump on the front while Issei holds them from behind. Nel shouts out loud. "I'm flying!"

"Yeah! We are queens of the world!" Ile agrees with a yell. The Boosted Gear user smiles at their innocence. That was when he saw someone that looked like a priest staring at them and walking away.

"Hm. Nel, Ile, how about you go sit down and I'll get you something to drink." He suggests which makes them excited and runs to a seat. He leaves and sees the priest enter the engine room. Issei kicks the door down and sees the supposed holy man holding a detonator with explosives on the engine. He pulls out a gun and aims at him.

"Die Devil!" He yells and shoots but Issei grabs the bullet between his fingers and throws it back at him with the same speed. It hits his forehead, killing him instantly.

"Two-Finger Interception." The possibly Kure member walks to the corpse and grabs his wallet. He pulls out a membership card and reads it. "Proud member of Xavism."

He goes back to the twins with soda which makes them happy. "Yeah thanks!"

"Yes thanks master!"

"No problem." Issei said as he sits beside, enjoying the drink. There was however something that was bugging him. "Hey can I you something?"

They nod so he ask his question. "Why did you leave Kyushu?"

"We were force to leave." Nel said with sadness while Ile continues. "When the Followers of Xavi took over our island, our parents feared that we would be turn into Sorin's soldier and so they send us to the Underworld."

He looks at them with a smile and pets them both. "I promise you this, we will put an end to that cult leader."

The three land on Hetsugigawa, looking around and see the Cult of Xavism patrolling the area. Issei and the twins charge at the force with Ile and Nel revving their chainsaws.

Meanwhile, another army has arrived at the town and is attacking the forces there as well. A woman in armor raises her sword for all to see. "Xavism doesn't belong in Kyushu! We are the Tachibana Clan and we will free our island."

"Ginchiyo!" An elder man runs at the woman with a giant sword. He jumps at her and swings his blade at her. She guards the strike and they clash. "Yoshihiro!"

"My name is Chester Shimazu and I am your opponent!" He announces as he lifts his sword for a large downward strike but she jumps over him and strikes his shoulder as she lands. He turns for a swing but the attack is block and not by her. A man with a sword and shield blocks the attack and stabs him in side.

"What are you doing Muneshige? I had him!" She shouts at her follow rebel who smiles at her.

"Is it not a husband's duty to protect his wife?" He responds which makes her blush. "You..! Q-quit talking and assist me!"

The duo take on Shimazu with them both striking but he guards the attacks and force them back with his strength alone. He takes out his sake gourd and drinks from it. "Show me if you younglings have what it takes to succeed."

An explosion is seen far from where the three are standing. The beast looks at the explosion then his opponents. "I suppose that is your reinforcements?"

"Could those be the people Sirzechs promise he would send?" Muneshige questions while Ginchiyo scoffs. "To think a Devil would honor a promise."

"No matter." Yoshihiro declares and smiles. "Sunday will deal with them. Come Tachibana!"

"AH!" A Follower of Xavism falls to the ground dead. Issei looks around, surrounded by corpses. Behind him is the twins, who are exhausted from the army. He checks both of them for any injuries. "Are you two okay?"

They nod which makes him happy but gets serious once he sees another warrior. He is wearing green armor with a cold look. His weapon appears to be a ringblade. He looks down at the soldiers and says with disgust in his voice. "To think you would be defeated. You are pathetic and do not deserve paradise with Xavi. I am Sunday Mori!"

Sunday readies his ringblade. "And I am the child of Xavi and the sun!"

The twin pawns charge at Sunday and attack him but he steps back, creating a double. Issei tries to warn them once he sees the double getting brighter. "Get back Nel! Ile!"

But it was too late and a explosion hits them. He catches them and gently put them down. He glares at the heartless man infront of him. "You're dead."

The cold tactician swings his ringblade and Issei hits with his left fist. His left arm turns into the Boosted Gear, showing his weapon to Motonari. "To think that a mere devil wields such a powerful weapon. It deserves to be use by someone that knows what he is doing."

"Heartless prick!" He shouts with fury in his voice. Issei strikes again but Motonari jumps back from the attack. "Coward! Are you planning to run away?!"

"No but my Solar Nexus will be the one to kill you." He declares as pillars come up from the ground to reveal four giant mirrors surrounding Issei. They all fire, hitting the Boosted Gear user with the rays of the sun, amplified.

"AAHH!" Issei screams in pain, his skin peeling away. He tries to walk away from the heat but he kneels, unable to move from his spot. The mirrors tilt away leaving a burned Devil. Nel and Ile wake up to see their master in pain. Mori see them run to their lord as archers stand behind them. "Fire."

Issei looks to see the arrows about to hit his pawns. He gets up and stands in front of them to block the arrows by using his own body. The twins look in horror as he save them by being riddle with arrows. "No! My lord!"

But he still stands. He charges at Sunday who orders his archers to keep firing. No matter how many hit him, he still runs until he reaches Mori. He takes his thumbs and strike his head. "Hokuto Fist of Penitence."

Motonari's head contort in pain and explode. His soldiers freak out and run away as his corpse fall to the ground. Issei however kneels with pain as Nel and Ile kneel beside him. They find a medkit beside one of the corpse and take it for their master. "Hang on master."

"Yeah! We will save you."

The Tachibana move in unison and get between Yoshihiro to strike from both sides but the Xavi follower spin with his blade yet Muneshige blocks with his shield while Ginchiyo jumps and dives to the old man. She stabs Chester in the chest, stopping him. He stabs the ground and leans on it. "It looks like the youth will succeed in this generation."

He rest his head, dead with a smile. The couple charge with their army, deeper into the town. The Followers try to fight back but the force is too much and gaining ground. On the way, they see three people that neither of the Tachibana know. But the twins look familiar. They are putting bandages on the burn victim.

"They must be the Devil reinforcement." Muneshige comments as they run to them. Ginchiyo looks at them and is shock once she gets closer. "Wait are you-"

A ball and chain smash into Issei, putting him on the floor. The twins are shock that their king is down. They glare at the figure that comes forward. A disheveled man with his arms bound and a ball and chain tied to him walks towards them with more followers beside him. A voice is heard from speakers: "Behold Joe C Kuroda!"

"Sorin..." Ginchiyo growls at the man that attack their island and subjugated them. "Show yourself coward!"

Kanbei lifts his ball and slam it into Issei. "GAH!"

"NO!" Nel and Ile see their master in pain and hold him. "Please don't die! Don't leave us!"

"Nel... Ile..." The martial artist mutters their names which makes the Tachibana family realize who they are.

"It's you." Muneshige looks at the twins as they hold Issei with tears in their eyes. They begin to glow which stop everyone from fighting as the light block their view and the two lights merge together to a woman holding Issei and putting him down. She is wearing a gym uniform that hugs her mature body, holding two chainsaws and lightning coursing through her body. She opens her eyes and looks at Kanbei.

"There are two things that I've inherited from my family. The first is the Lightning Edge." She said to the shock of everyone. "And the second is the spirit of the samurai! I may not have great strength but I do posses loyality and I vow never to disrespect and dishonor my lord's name!"

Kanbei sighs, knowing that this will be more difficult. He grabs his chain and swings but the woman blocks it and strikes with her other chainsaw. He steps back but it graze his chest. "I will not be defeated. Thanks to Xavi, my luck will finally come around and succeed."

He jumps and grabs his giant ball slams it to the woman but she blocks it and roars as lightning comes off her body. Like a bull, she charges and slams into Kanbei. Her chainsaws goes down to him but he raises his cuffs and block the strike. The power breaks it off to the shock of Joe C.

"You may follow God but I serve my lord. Prepare!" She shouts though she is thinking of something else. 'Lord Issei! Can you see me be so badass?'

Though Issei is not watching the fight because he is being carried by Muneshige and Ginchiyo. He whispers to them. "Take me to Sorin."

"What are you, crazy?!" Ginchiyo questions while Muneshige tries to dissuade him. "You are too injured to fight."

"I don't care. I gotta defeat that bastard. I gotta protect Nel and Ile."

"Tch fine! We will hold the Followers off. You better give that prick a nice punch for me." The Tachibana lady orders as she and her husband get closer to where Sorin is hiding. They place him next to the entrance and they go back to fight back the Followers. He gets up in pain, feeling the burns and sores but he enters the shrine and see Sorin Otomo standing on what looks like a giant face. "Your attention! I built this magnificent machine to honor Xavi. In the name of Xavisim, lets go Xavi!"

The giant Xavi head fires missles from his eyes and they strike Issei, creating a huge explosion. "AH!"

The Boosted Gear is sent flying and crashes on the floor but he gets up as he dodges the charging robot. It crashes into the wall and Sorin can only be afraid as Issei jumps and lands on his platform. He pierces the zealot's skull with two fingers. "Hokuto Bone Crusher Strike!"

"Who are you? Are you God?" Sorin whispers as his body explodes, leaving only Issei who walks away from the corpse. "No, I'm just a Devil helping his subjects."

Due to the death of Sorin, the Followers of Xavi have surrender allowing Kyushu to be free. Issei and the mysterious woman are sitting down with the Tachibana family in their clan house. Though what is odd is Kanbei is sitting as well. "Hey what the hell is that bastard doing here?"

Issei questions about the man that slam his ball and chain at his stomach as the woman answers. "Forgive me my lord. He surrender after I destroy his cuffs."

"Nel? Ile? I don't understand."

"This is our daughter, Nelile." Muneshige explains. "When Sorin took over Kyushu, we fear that she would be force to serve him. So we divided her soul into two people Nel and Ile and sent them off the island to the Underworld."

This confuses Issei even more. "How did you divide her soul?"

"We hired someone to do that. They could control souls and left after getting paid but was a weird kid." Ginchiyo answers as she thinks of the kid. They were quiet and didn't interact much. The only time she saw the kid talk was to a plant.

Kanbei is sitting away from the table. "Yeah sorry about that. I only work for Sorin because he said he can free me from my shackles so I surrendered when she broke it." He points at Nelile.

"We thank you for helping our daughter." Lord of the Tachibana clan speaks. He then looks at Nelile. "Do you want to stay or be with him?"

She answers without any delay. "I am sorry father but I wish to serve my lord."

"I see." Muneshige looks at Ginchiyo who nods. "Then we wish you well darling. Thank you Issei for freeing our island."

The two Devils get up and leave the house. The Tachibana Lady glares at Kanbei who is shaking at her look. "As for you, you are going to help repair our island with your own hands."

"Y-yes ma'am."

The two walk to a cruise ship heading to the mainland but Issei almost trips from his injures but his pawn grabs him and helps him enter the ship. "Don't worry my lord, I will be your loyal retainer no matter what."

They walk together, not knowing that someone is watching them. A voice can be heard but it is not the stranger. "So that is him. Doesn't look tough. I can take him on."

"Hm..." The figure grunts and walks away, holding a potted plant.

Ile and Nel have fuse to become Nelile: The Lightning Edge Samurai.
