AN : Yo, here's a shot out : Konoha no Senko Arashi. Got that and Chasing Yesterday was my best inspiration for this amazing, crazy ship.
Truth
The bridge
Naruko was really perfect for that guard duty with her many Kage Bunshins. The blonde had made over a hundred copy, which lent an amazing number of helping hands to the people of Nami no Kuni as every man, woman and child able to help construct the bridge did so. Even Kakashi and Sasuke helped with the building of the huge bridge. Kakashi because team Gai left (Thank God!) and Sasuke because he had nothing better to do. Sure, he could train himself to the ground, but would that be productive in the long run? No. Manual labor on the other hand, with the help of his tomboyish girlfriend was progressing at a really good rate.
One other thing, was Kakashi finally teaching her the Rasengan, which she picked up at a really fast speed with just a few hints, something that made Sasuke HATE Jiraiya to no limit. This girl was a fucking Ninjutsu powerhouse, her Taijutsu, her Kanabo was used in many ways he NEVER thought humanly possible. It was a Chakra conductive, really durable heavy long slim mace of steel, with studded spikes, like the spikes were more a half sphere than anything, yet she was using it to crush trees, TREES!
Sasuke also thrived a lot. Like he increased his weights, consequences be damned. Kakashi warned him and yet, he replied that he'd do anything for his most precious person, and he really meant it. An Uchiha breaking the oath they made, had to commit seppuku. Something no Hyuga ever did...
Kakashi was more than confident that together they would be able to take down Chunins like flies. If he only knew.. If he only knew.. Sasuke was able to kill Jonins, and Naruko had already killed a Jonin.. Sure, she had the surprising ambush, but her feat was legendary to say the least. More over, she decided to give them a proper burial, vowing to become a better person.
Sasuke was always looking after her. She didn't even need it most of the time, being a big girl and all. However, the more she thought about it, the more she realized : Maybe the Hokage was wrong with her current situation? Maybe if she knew Sasuke earlier, would he still have chosen her? She had no idea at all...
Sasuke meanwhile was thinking, ironically, about the future for once. Danzo need to die, but not before his knowledge is passed down to Naruko. Orochimaru MUST die for what he did to Naruko, and Jugo... Kimimaro's death was... Kept from the poor bipolar man. Kabuto needed to die, no discussion! In the invasion, meeting Tsunade, or by siccing his sick twisted fuck of a martyr aspiring older brother on him and Danzo seemed like the best option. Killing Obito and Zetsu demanded one thing only : Sheer dumb luck.
Sasuke sighed where he, Kakashi and the real Naruko were in the same place. Kakashi noted how forlorn looking his student was. The Hatake asked him as Sasuke shrugged.
"It's something that you two cannot help me with.." He replied as they gave him two and a half eyes worth of deadpan look. "I must do it... ALONE!" His last bit was enough for Naruko to shake her head at him.
"Sasuke, do you need a large ham or something?" At this Kakashi literally rolled with laugher. Of course...
"How about a large amount of dogshit for that rancid mouth of yours?" Sasuke replied coldly. "Now I have to clean up your worst fuck up! Be grateful." Sasuke's poisonous tone made both of them flinch. What was that supposed to mean? "You let them both die, I know.. You had no choice in the first, as he made his own choice, and the second killed herself.. But what the fuck did your Sensei do? Abso-fucking-lutly nothing!" At this, Sasuke's blood boiled, "And worst of all, he condamned Naruko to this life, where an avenger who could have been trying to kill her for power to befriend her... I guess that it was luck she was said avenger's most precious person... A person too precious to sacrifice needlessly.." He clenched his fists before he sighed sadly. Naruko deserved better, but the mere thought of her with someone else..
"Oi, what do you mean that I deserve better? I know that you can be a jerk, a sarcastic bastard, and you smell sometimes, but I would not change you for anyone else who's probably will just be trying to get into my pants one day... You refused to disrespect me... You acknowledged me, you helped me in three months more than the entire village in twelve years.. Is this the direction you wanted to take?" Naruko concluded as Sasuke sighed dejectedly. Such sweet, innocent, kind, pure, nice soul didn't deserve that. She was too forgiving..
"No, I was talking about you having a family, like.. The kind I used to have?" Sasuke replied a bit shyly, trying not to offend her, amazingly, it didn't even do in the slightest.
"Look, Sasuke, we talked about it, like, aren't we a family of misfits?" Naruko asked the Uchiha who laughed heartedly. Man now he understood that Suigetsu, weird as shit, funny as hell.
"It's going to get bigger soon... And Kakashi, make your choice. The family or the village." Sasuke offered his sensei a way out.
"Are we pulling an Itachi and getting the hell out of Dodge?" Kakashi asked and Sasuke shook his head. "I'm fucking in, son."
"Heh, you as a father... Nah, can't do it yet. But be a good father to Naruko, God knows she does deserve one..." Sasuke replied as she puffed her cheeks. "Hmm.. Tsunade is a good mother..."
"Oi, we can't get married, you know that whole twenty three years age gap?" Kakashi asked nervously as he blushed red like a tomato, his sweat poured profusely, his lone eye became white.
"What the fuck Kaka-sensei? Teme-kun, stop making our sensei suffer like this!" Naruko huffed in a faked indignant manner as they both then laughed mischievously. Oh that was completely priceless. Kakashi's photo came out amazing.
"Oh this will be kept as a tight lipped secret..." Sasuke announced darkly as Naruko nodded. "Unless he does NOT cooperate, and prank you, harm you in any way, or even try as much as hit on you, fake or not!"
Uh-oh! Kakashi was totally screwed. He was no fool, he saw Sasuke's training regime, and it was NOT a pretty sight. While almost as ruthless as Anbu or even Ne, Sasuke and Naruko were building their base to be completely independent, yet incredibly compatible. He saw how Sasuke tought her his copied Jutsus, something no Uchiha would do.. Apart... From...
"Sasuke, really, why are you teaching Naruko these Jutsus?" Kakashi asked the Uchiha while leveling him a serious gaze. He still remember how Sasuke threatened to personally destroy all threats in front of her, how he would kill everyone who harmed her, after killing each and every person he or she loved. That Sasuke was not his student, but something else, a nightmare straight from hell that would easily burn the world if a single tear of Naruko dropped out of sorrow...
"Why shouldn't I? I mean, if I have a way to improve her chances to be the Hokage on HER terms, why not help her reach her dream faster? Like do I even need an ulterior motive? No. For all I know, Mom would have either adopted her, either pushed us together.. Let this be known, Itachi's fate is dependent on Mom's forgiving him or not..." Sasuke replied as Kakashi sighed. He decided AGAINST reporting his team's strength and weakness, unless it was absolutely necessary.
"Kakashi-sensei, should I train my.. Ace up my sleeves? Me and Sasuke-kun want your help, and probably... Your guidance?" Naruko asked Kakashi shyly and he eyesmiled.
"You two can bet each other's lives that I will ALWAYS be there for you, unless I'm pulled into a mission. Sasuke, are you grinning?" Kakashi asked his student who nodded.
"Welcome to the soon to be established Uchiha clan and its allies. So far, Uzumaki, Hatake, Hozoki and who knows? Maybe a certain Hyuga? Maybe the Kazekage children?" Sasuke smirked evilly as Naruko gave him an amazed look. These names were all heavy until...
"Oi Sasuke, you know them?" Naruko asked the Uchiha who smirked, "Do you see the future?"
"An unclear, obsolete one.. But I saw one thing. Who's fate have decided to tie me to as my wife..." Sasuke smirked as she gave him a sad look.
"I see. Sasuke, good luck with that, I will help you two get married." Naruko replied as he gave her a knowing smirk. "So, who is she? Have I met and known her?"
"Well, who she is, I can't tell. Also, an Uchiha can love only once... And finally, yes, you know her. Let's make you meet her." Sasuke replied as he guided Naruko to the lake. She was shocked to see herself and Sasuke. Wait, he said wife which it means..
"M-me? Y-y-you? M-ma-married?" Naruko asked Sasuke who had a tinge of guilt in his eyes. Damn his avenger self...
"Oh well, it's entirely up to you. Let's just forget that I said anything about it.." He smiled sadly at her and she nodded in acceptance. "Naruko, what would you do to any girl who tries to snatch me?"
"Kick her ass so hard she would NEVER be able to sit again. You do the same thing for me, no?" Naruko replied and then asked Sasuke expectingly.
"No. I will KILL anyone who tries his luck. If they won't back off, there would be no proof." He smiled Devilishly as Kakashi sweat dropped. The kid needs.. Nah. He was at least a good man for her own good.
"How so?" Kakashi asked Sasuke who sighed.
"This training is off the book. The ruins of Uzushio, Madara's Jutsus, everything. I have Enton, as in I can control literally the flames of hell, like Hades flames... Literally." His reply made both Naruko and Kakashi look at him as if he spourted two more heads. "Amaterasu!"
His left eye leaked blood before he shot an orb of black flames that landed on the sea. Amazingly, said flames continued to burn. So the reason why the Uchiha clan had a fan as a symbol was.. These inextinguishable flames? Then, he looked at said flames which amazingly died..
"I can control the fire of hell itself.. Need I say more?" Sasuke asked and the two nodded dumbfounded. This kid was terrifying as an enemy, but as an ally... Holy hell they won't need or find anyone better.
"Ne Sasuke, how did you become this strong?" Naruko asked the Uchiha who flinched. "Come on, you can tell me. I would never think anything less of you. You accepted me despite being different.." She then squeezed his hand reassuranly, "Look, whatever it is, it stays buried in Nami with everything else.."
"I lost everything." He replied simply. He didn't say anything else as he remembered everything. His promise, his pain when he lost her, his brother, his clan... How he would never hurt Konoha again unless... He opened his eyes and looked at her seriously. "If a war breaks, we have to be prepared!"
"Sasuke, what do you mean by that?" Naruko asked her teammate. "I mean, is there any war brewing?"
"Who knows?" Sasuke replied as Kakashi thought about it. It's been way too quiet. Thirteen years without a war.. Maybe the cold war have been brewing?
"Guys, when we return, I think that I will train you two to my standards of a thirteen years old, consequences be damned. Is that ok with you?" Kakashi asked and they both smiled at him.
"None whatsoever." Sasuke replied calmly while smilling in anticipation.
"Much better, Kakashi-sensei." Naruko replied with a lot of glee.
"Don't regret it.." Kakashi replied as he now decided not to let them rest unless it is a Sunday, and to have one more mission next month. Maybe a B-rank? That would be good for them. Maybe Sakura can join just to have a clear view of the real two gems he got his hands on, "Anyways, good job surviving an A-rank. Sasuke, you kept your head the entire time. Naruko, you managed to do something incredible. So now, let's start training your special abilities of yours."
And with that, Team seven begun their arduous training. Ninjutsu training to be exact. To say that Kakashi was impressed would be an understatement. Naruko was hardly struggling with the Mokuton Ninjutsu, and Sasuke managed to compress the handseals sequence of his Katon Ninjutsu to one or two handseals. Kakashi was extremely satisfied with the progress.
Also, Sasuke and Naruko took a sort of liking to Inari. Tsunami was kinda like a mother figure and explained many.. Womanly things to Naruko. Sasuke was kinda distant, but he also tought Inari some way to lunch shuriken, kunais and even some basics of Taijutsu. He also was happy that the kid decided to leave Gato's fate to the adults. The Uchiha also asked the local population about what they wanted to do with the thugs. As he decided to leave Gato's fate to be crucified first. He then burned the thugs to ashes coldly when he realized how low they truly are. Intimidating for money was forgivable, hell, doing so for survival he would spare them, but rapists and murderers did not deserve any mercy.
Naruko snapped one of the two samurai's neck and smashed the other's head. Sasuke smirked at her savage side. She also cut all four of Gato's limbs and left his body to the population of Nami to get their pound of flesh. Although she felt like a total monster, Sasuke reminded her that she did so for justice. Besides, it would be good for her in the long run. One day, she will need to kill out of necessity, and it won't be a burden...
"Ne, Sasuke, how come it doesn't bother you Killing so many people?" Naruko asked the Uchiha who shrugged.
"They were all enjoying the suffering of poor innocent people. Can I let them doing that?" He replied calmly. Sasuke didn't really care, but that was the right thing to do.
"But still, they were humans, living persons. Like who knows what dreams they had, what goals, you know?" She asked her teammate who sighed.
"They were NOT acting like fellow human beings. They acted like rabid dogs, who needed to be put down." He replied calmly. Sasuke then realized something. He was about to voice it when he decided against it. He realized that he did enjoy killing them. He realized that he did enjoy paying evil onto evil.
"Sasuke, you really need a shrink." Kakashi told the Uchiha who replied to him in a proper manner.
"Hn." Sasuke grunted.
"He said that this is a bad idea." Naruko replied to Kakashi and Sasuke gave her a loving smile.
"Hn." He added.
"Oh, thanks Teme-kun." Naruko replied as Sasuke shook his head.
"Hn." He replied and she laughed.
"Good joke, Sasuke." Naruko commented, making Kakashi sigh. Great. She now understand the Uchiha grunting language...
"Ok, can you explain to me how exactly did you learn his language? I tried for years to understand it.." Kakashi asked and Sasuke laughed at his mentor. Oh that was a good one.
"You see, that grunt can signify two things, either look into my eyes, either try using... Well, usually, Sasuke's grunts means many things depending on the mood." Naruko replied as she struggled with explaining. "But mostly his eyes, I realized how to read them. But the last time, he grunted in the same manner when he said a joke about using a Katon or Futon on the Sennen Goroshi... And doing that to Neji... Oh it was hilarious. He grunted in a very distinctive manner, and whenever he grunts that way, it usually means that he will give me an insanely funny joke."
"Hn." Sasuke replied as she smiled at him stupidly. He then looked away as he blushed. Damn her insanely rare cuteness... He then shook his head to clear the whole thing out of his head.
Tazuna's house
Sasuke smirked as his Kage Bunshin disspelled, as did Naruko's. The day was.. Well, it was a pretty good day. They trained harder than ever, Naruko was able to master a few Mokuton Ninjutsu, he was able to finally finish his last Raiton Ninjutsu, well, it was all good. The bridge was finally done.
Sasuke was pulled deep into his thoughts. He will find a way to save his wife, well, girlfriend three years away from becoming his fiancee, and then, he remembered what she told him about Jiraiya and his eyes burned with cold rage, as he accidentally looked at Inari who dove down.
"Sorry, Inari. I had something bad on my mind.." Sasuke apologized sincerely. Kakashi and Naruko looked at him in confusion. Sasuke was too proud usually, what did spark this change?
"Did we just heard you apologize?" Naruko asked the Uchiha who sighed. "Wow, you really changed. I can still see that darkness, but it's.. focused on someone."
"Oh, I see. I blame you two for that. But yeah. I still have to get that pound of flesh..." He replied as Tsunami and Tazuna were shocked by this. He was a twelve years old, why would he be this.. Ruthless?
"Sasuke-kun, why do you focus on that?" Tazuna asked the teen who sighed.
"Because no one else can. She's not ready, and he would not be ready.." He replied solemnly.
"Ok, what do you mean by that?" Naruko asked the Uchiha who sighed.
"I need to get much faster and stronger. All I need is one single glance." Sasuke replied before he clenched his fist. "And he's wearing a mask!"
"I see. So then, we'll focus on your natural speed more than anything. Any problem?" Kakashi asked Sasuke who shot him a satisfied smile.
"Hn." He replied. Naruko sighed.
"He said none whatsoever. Also, Tazuna-jiji, Tsunami-nee, please drop the matter." Naruko replied and she went into the kitchen with Tsunami. If there is one girly side for the blonde, it would be her cooking skills. Sasuke was thinking hardly and making strategies. Unconsciously, he started twitching as he was ready for action, any action. Kakashi was looking aloof as ever as he conversed with Tazuna about the entire situation. Inari asked Sasuke many questions that the Uchiha replied with a maturity exceeding his age, it was almost like he's his older brother.
"Why does people do all that horrible things for money? I just can't understand it." Inari asked Sasuke who sighed.
"Greed is the father of all sins, a few know that, and lesser realize it. Unfortunately, greed drove the world to this state. However, one day, I will make sure that it will end and soon..." Sasuke promised as Kakashi's eyes widened.
"So, want to read a book I enjoy, Teme-kun?" Naruko asked the Uchiha who replied by a grunt. "I'm taking that as a yes." He grunted again, "It is a yes then." He grunted again, in a more amused manner, "Why thanks, you cold hearted bastard of mine.."
"I am yours alright." He replied as Inari wiggled his eyebrows.
"Sasuke-niichan, you really love her, right?" Inari's question was expected to be answered like the first time, that they're strictly business and a professional relationship and all. However, Sasuke had enough..
"Yes I am. And you have no idea how much.. Had that Oinin killed her, I would have went on a rampage that not even Kakashi would have stopped me.." Sasuke replied seriously as Kakashi's blood froze. Sasuke was NOT joking.
"Sasuke, what is Naruko for you?" Kakashi's tone meant business. Looking right in his eyes, Sasuke replied.
"My everything." He replied honestly as Kakashi eyesmiled. Sasuke was just the true norm of an Uchiha. Speaking of which..
"So, shat does A-rank mean to you?" Kakashi asked Sasuke who snorted.
"Chunin." He replied curtly and Kakashi's eyes widened.
"So, S-rank means..?" Kakashi asked Sasuke who smirked.
"Jonin." He replied again.
"B rank means?" He asked and the Uchiha smirked.
"Hmm, that me and Naruko are on our way?" He asked as Kakashi raised an eyebrow, "I'm a B-rank already. She's definitely almost there, no, I have no doubts that she's a B-rank."
"Wow, I am flattered, Teme-kun." Naruko replied from the kitchen. "But you think that we can reach that level?"
"No, I KNOW that you will be an S-rank by fifteen. However, the most beneficial way for you is not accessible yet." Sasuke replied as Kakashi's eyes widened. Sasuke knew...
"Sasuke, you know Senjutsu?" Kakashi asked the Uchiha who shrugged.
"No idea. But I know that Naruko can do it eventually. Look, it all depends on one foolish sage." He replied seriously, "But maybe we can use him, what do you say, Kakashi? If he will train her to be a ninja, then it's water under the bridge. If not.. I will literally rip my ten pounds of flesh!" Sasuke replied darkly.
"Teme-kun, really, do you know the future, or came from it?" Naruko asked him seriously. Sasuke shrugged.
"I have no idea. I mean, I am the same Sasuke, except I am not? How am I supposed to know exactly? I remember skills, events, dialogues, that are yet to come. But I wish to forget about the whole reason I came back. Yet it has given me the courage to finally ask you out, not fearing my bastard of an older brother..." Sasuke replied as Naruko sighed in confusion. The Uchiha was an enigma.
"Your feeling towards me, is it genuine?" Naruko asked and he was behind her, hugging her by the waist, his lips right beside her ears.
"What do you think?" And then he was right beside Kakashi.
The girl sighed. Maybe he was right? It's Sasuke of all people, and he at least NEVER lied to her. So there's that.
"Ok, I guess.. I mean, you're awfully honest to me. I was afraid that you were only trying to earn my trust then backstab me." Naruko replied as Sasuke now felt something he almost forgot : Guilt.
"I would never do it... I am not the Sandaime, or Jiraiya..." Sasuke replied and Naruko's eyes widened. The Sandaime? Jiraiya?
"Sasuke, what did you say now about the Sandaime-sama and Jiraiya-sama?" Kakashi asked the Uchiha who sighed.
"Well, let's ask him about... Naruko-chan's parents. If he would not reply, then you better make your own mind. Also, if we meet Jiraiya, you better ask him the question about what exactly will he train our favorite blonde?" Sasuke replied as Naruko sighed dejectedly. Kakashi frowned, but then again, Sasuke was kinda right about the village being a mass of hypocrites. He remembered how he talked with Sasuke, and the Uchiha was smirking at the prospect of Naruko surpassing him. Sasuke just replied that he would be more than okay with that. Not only that, but Sasuke said that the only person he would accept as equal or superior would be her. Kakashi was thinking about Obito and his love for Rin as he saw Sasuke's devotion to his girlfriend.
"My parents? Do you know them?" Naruko asked Kakashi who sighed dejectedly.
"Yes. They were some amazing people. All I can say is that I was forbidden from telling you.." Kakashi said as his eye showed his guilt and anger. Naruko was shocked at that.
"Does Jiji know? Everytime I asked him he lied to me... That means that he knew yet... Why? Why he never told me? Why, I heard that they abandoned me, that I was a bastarded.. He lied to me?" Naruko asked Kakashi who nodded and sighed sadly. Sasuke however frowned before he grabbed a mirror, walked towards her, and held it.
"Make your face a manly one, remove the whiskers and your hair spiky, who's your father?" Sasuke asked Naruko seriously and she was even more shocked. That meant..
"The Yondaime? He sealed it inside of me, his own daughter? How, why?" Naruko trembled. Sasuke looked at her hair before he removed the pigtails and his eyes widened.
"Your face looks like Mom's best friend! Also, your hair is as smooth as hers..." Sasuke replied as she gave him a really hurt look. Does that mean, that everyone betrayed her?
"Oi, Sasuke, what's your game? You're probably hurting her." Kakashi asked as the Uchiha glared at him with his Mangekyo Sharingan, which means.. Shit!
"Kakashi, if you're going to tell her, now is the bloody time!" Sasuke barked in rage.
"I think that I better get out.." Naruko replied as Sasuke and Kakashi followed the blonde. Then, she yelled at the top of her lungs at the betrayal of her surrogate grandfather. Why? Just why?
"Naruko.." Kakashi said as Sasuke was looking sad, dejected, forlorn, guilty and miserable. He could not even help her handle the truth. Him and his big mouth.. Then, Naruko fixed Kakashi with a glare.
"Kakashi-sensei, you're going to tell me everything about my parents. And I mean, every thing..." Naruko told her sensei in a serious tone. This Naruko wasn't the blonde hyperactive girl they knew. This Naruko was the Rokudaime Hokage candidate.
"Minato-sensei was an amazing guy to say the least. He supported me after my father died.. Also he was a genius ninja, like terrifyingly smart and was interested in Fuinjutsu, he was a nice guy to be around, you know? Matter of fact, he's a lot like Sasuke in talent, yet like you a bit in your personality, like warm and cheerful, and he always put his comrades first.. As the Hokage, he tried to reach out to the Uchiha clan, alas, Obito's death and Fugaku-san's hidden exploit.. Well, he also was a loving husband to your late mother, Kushina-nee. She was a fiery tempered, yet unbelievably compationate woman.. Your attitude and everything personality wise remind me of her. I also remember that she was always nice to anyone who's her friend, and she was Mikoto-san's best friend. She was beautiful to say the least. You look a lot like her, Naruko... It's just so painful." Kakashi replied as his eyes watered. He rarely cried, but how could he not be there officially.
"Did they love me? Did they die protecting me? Why did my own father put this burden on me?" Naruko broke down as she pointed to her stomach. Sasuke just couldn't hold it. It took every fiber of his being not to hug the poor broken girl.
"They did. I still remember how they always talked only about you. I remember that yes, they did die protecting you, but the whole story is with.. Him. Also, I don't know honestly.. But one day, we'll find out, won't we?" Kakashi replied as Sasuke finally gave in and he hugged Naruko in a very tight yet protective manner.
"I'm sorry for bringing this..." Sasuke apologized as he felt a stab in his heart. Fuck! How many times did he failed to protect the single person he cared about the most?
"Teme-kun, don't be.. Thanks for telling me the truth. In fact, I think that you're much better in my book.. Do I have any family? Like, not even Godparents?" Naruko asked and Kakashi sighed. Better now than later. He will pick up his arduous training. Consequences be damned all the way to hell.
"Jiraiya. I'm sorry that he was absent. I'm sorry for never introducing myself to you in your darkest hours... Also, Mikoto-san put more than a hundred request to adopt you in the first year. Matter of fact, she put more request for adoption than I can exactly remember.." Kakashi replied as Sasuke blushed. Naruko would have been his adoptive sister? Then... Fuck!
"I think that Mom overdid it.." Sasuke commented as Naruko did something unexpected. She laughed at this.
"I'm in love with my adoptive brother.." She replied. "Then again, I don't mind it." She then giggled at Sasuke's blush. However, she was confused as he started to tear up.
"You're.. In.. Love.. With.. Me?" Sasuke asked in shock, tears streaming down his cheeks, his lips slightly open.
"Huh? I guess? I mean, I don't know? When I'm with you I feel warm inside, and that no one can ever hurt me, or that.. well, you know? That feeling that you would spend your entire life with someone and you would never change him for anyone else?" Naruko asked Sasuke who now kissed her soul out almost literally. As he parted, she had a crimson shade of blush, and her eyes were shining. "I think that I really like you in that manner."
"Thank God it's about time... Yes! I won!" Sasuke yelled in utter happiness. Finally! Naruko became his once again. "Naruko-hime, would you date anyone else?"
"Like hell I would. Would you?" She asked and he shook his head in denial. "Good, cause first thing when we return, I will kick each and every bitch's ass who do as much as approaching you in a non-platonic way." Naruko declared as Sasuke laughed.
"And you better not even think about dating anyone else, or they will be incinerated by the flames of hell itself!" Sasuke replied as she shivered. Wasn't that a bit too much?
"You two are MADE for each other." Kakashi commented as he sighed in relief. Well, Sasuke can be possessive, and Naruko was becoming a bit like him.. Well, they make a cute couple at least. Also, with Sasuke romantic interest, there's probably, no, definitely no flight risks at all.
"Sasuke, can I help you with your friends thing?" Naruko asked the Uchiha who sighed dejectedly. He decided to tell her the entire truth of his mission.
"I don't know.. There's that Uzumaki girl who I might meet in a later date, and that Hozoki boy, and finally, that orange haired teen.. He's two years older than us. Actually, come to think about it, I don't think that I would do that alone, if I didn't have to kill the Devil himself, and his puppet of a puppet of a puppet master. Unfortunately, I can't risk your life nor Kakashi's.." Sasuke remembered how it took Kakashi, Naruko, Killer B and Gai to break Obito's mask. Can he kill him on his own? All it will take is one single glance with his Rinnegan...
"You don't have to do it alone." Naruko tempted.
"I have to eventually. I know his place now. Well, both of them." He replied.
"Look, if you would need me in anything, I'd happily help you." Naruko replied as he sighed dejectedly. Then, he remembered thst she can help him..
"Naruko, ever heard of the Tamachi no fuin?" He asked and she shook her head.
"A soul seal? Really? What exactly are you thinking about now? You can be a very weird Teme." She replied and he smirked. "Okay, I think that it is a good challenge for me."
"Heh, I guess." He replied as he put his arm around her shoulder and squeezed a bit.
"Don't mention it, Sasu-teme." She teased, "Although, one day, you will repay me.." Sasuke raised an eyebrow, "I think that I have a way... Maybe.. hmm." The blonde said cryptically as she put a finger on her cheek and hummed in thought, "For me to know, and for you to be surprised.." She replied as he shook his head.
"Don't care." He replied. He would do anything for her, and it meant everything. He failed twice.. Thrice to protect her. She was his sun, his light in darkness and yet..
"Fine. I'm cutting my hair. It gets on the way." She replied as he sighed. He'd rather not, but short hair would probably look a bit better?
"Fine by me." He replied and she gave him a wide eyed stair.
"Huh?" She asked. What about the rumour about him liking long haired girls? Oh right. Konoha and gossips and hypocrisy..
"I guess that Sasuke is Naruko-sexual." Kakashi commented as the girl blushed a new shade of deep crimson. Sasuke sighed at that. "You sure know how to pick'em, Sasuke."
"Unique !" Was the Uchiha's reply. Naruko was a tomboy who'd rather fight than do hair, an orange wearer, which meant that she doesn't care about fashion at all, loud and cheerful, and sometimes, very talkative. She also took her training very seriously. Any training was good in her book. She was also amazingly kind, generous, sweet, nice to be around.. Friendly, forgiving.. Sasuke sighed as he remembered everything good about her. She was almost his polar opposite. "If anyone asks you for money, especially Jiraiya, just say no."
"Sasuke, you aren't stingy, are you?" She asked the Uchiha with a cocked eyebrow.
"I know him enough to tell you that he's a pervert, a heavy drinker and a liar, and most of all irresponsible as hell. Trust me when I say that he'd leave you to chase some piece of ass... Even in the danger of an S-rank nuke nin trying to kidnap you.." Sasuke replied a bit coldly. Really, Jiraiya almost cost him Naruko, and any barb in the man's direction was welcomed. He remembered also how after almost three years of training, she was disgustingly weak. He burned his ass out in anticipation of fighting her and yet, their gap was just.. And what made it worse, was he said that he'd train her in anticipation of fighting the Akatsuki.
"Sasuke, what's your grudge against Jiraiya?" Naruko asked him and he sighed.
"Look, when he comes back, and he will, ask him one question, what he plans on training you in. If he says the fox's power, then.. You know exactly what I mean. Kakashi and I will ALWAYS be there for you. How's your Rasengan progress?" Sasuke asked the blonde who raised an eyebrow before she smiled at his concern.
"Pretty good in stage one, well, I can now make three rotations at the same time. Why?" She asked and Kakashi sighed.
"It's the pinnacle of shape manipulation. Now then, the key is to try and rotate it in many directions at the same time. Now, try more and more rotations. Try to visualize your Chakra. Close your eyes if you must." Kakashi was now on his sensei mode. Naruko did just that as she opened her palm and he put a water balloon.
"Now add another one in a different direction." He said. He waited a bit. "Now another in the opposite direction." He waited. This continued until she finally heard a 'pop' sound. She felt her palm becoming wet. When she opened her eyes, the water balloon was no more.
"Oh, we are really proud now, Kakashi." Sasuke commented. "Just a few hints and instructions, and you managed to beat Jiraiya and Kakashi. This was only on your second day, no?"
"Re-really? How did you know?" Naruko asked before Sasuke smirked. Kakashi sighed as he gave some bills to Sasuke.
"Well, Naruko, I know that you are a really special person. Soon enough, we'll see which is better, my Chidori slash Raikiri, or your Rasengan.. Using our clones." Sasuke replied as she gave him an angry look.
"I will not be accepting this. What if I hurt you? What if you hurt me... Hold on, did you said our clones?" She asked her boyfriend who smirked.
"Heh, finally you noticed. Well, next time, we'll continue on our special training... Also, I think that we should never tell the Hokage about our progress. Think of it as the ultimate prank." Sasuke smirked as she nodded.
"Hmm... I guess? What are you planning for? What piece am I?" She smirked as he shook his head.
"Queen that I must protect." He replied as her eyes widened. She really wished to feel his emotions, one way or another. However, she couldn't (yet) and now, she had to look at his eyes to know that he was genuinely in love with her.
"Well, I guess that Sakura and Ino will need to be put in their places, no?" Naruko asked Sasuke who smirked. Kurama made most Genjutsus useless against the girl, tight seal or not. As for Ino's Jutsu, well, her father once tried it and was expelled from her mind painfully enough to lose his consciousness. No Yamanaka can get into Naruko's mind.
"Well then, I'll arrange for a three way spar, team seven vs team eight vs team ten, how does it sound like?" Kakashi asked his students who shrugged. "Just don't kill or maim. You two are.. Well, more than enough."
"Shikamaru and Shino are mine to take down. Shino should NOT use his Kikaichu. I will tell him that my Katon Ninjutsu vs his Hijutsu will not be a pretty thing.. For him. I do not want to harm one person I kinda respect." Sasuke replied as Kakashi smirked behind his mask.
"I don't want to fight Hina-chan.. But if I must, it's going to be a friendly spar." Naruko replied before she sighed. "She's definitely the strongest genin among us. Only Sasuke is stronger.. I don't know if I can win... In a friendly match." Naruko expressed her concerns. Sasuke nodded at her. He would not mind Naruko losing to Hinata, after all, she's a true Kunoichi.
"I don't know about holding back.. Ok, no A-rank jutsus." Sasuke semi asked, semi declared as Kakashi eyesmiled.
"Well, knowing Asuma and Kurenai, you two can beat their Genins in Ninjutsu. Naruko, use only ONE type of Futon Jutsus. Sasuke, only your Katon and Raiton, although, hold back.." Kakashi ordered. He realized that his team was.. too strong. However, Sasuke insisted on them becoming A-ranked shinobis before the Chunin exam finale, which was easier said than done. In three days Naruko became a C-ranked. In three months she bacame a B-ranked, although she froze because it was her very first experience with hostile shinobis. Sasuke is definitely an A-ranked, low one, but A-rank nontheless. And he proved it. Then he thought that with three more months, his team would definitely be more than ready. Naruko have yet to remove her weight.. Well, apart from the time they fought Zabuza and his apprentice..
"Naruko, how do you feel? About everything I mean?" Sasuke asked the blonde who sighed. She was awfully quiet since killing Zabuza.
"I feel.. I dunno? Angry at the Sandaime? For not telling me about my parents. Guilt for killing? Also, I feel that I can totally trust Sasuke and you Kakashi-sensei... I don't really know exactly. Like, you know... Well, I feel dissapointed, angry, guilty, trusty to you two, but betrayed by my own Grandfather figure. I have no idea how much I'm worth to anyone else, and that I really want to harm Sakura and Ino and all of Sasuke-kun's fangirls.., also, I feel betrayed by my own father. To me, unless he have a good excuse, he's just the Yondaime Hokage." Naruko replied as she sighed sadly. That was it. She was also thinking about her feeling towards Sasuke, would it measure up? The guy practically was an amazing teammate, who she can rely upon every time. Also, she was now thinking that maybe she can tease him a bit sometimes, to show him what he would have one day.
"Naruko, talk about Ino and Sakura?" Kakashi asked and the blonde sighed.
"Nothing to talk about. If they didn't change, these two disgrace to the Kunoichi name, flat chested, screeching harpies, weakling bimbos, shallower than a small pond in Suna, emptier than void, shopping spree fetishized, meaner than a lioness with a toothache alpha bitches are totally fucked!" Naruko replied indignantly, which made Sasuke smirk.
"Neji?" Kakashi asked her and she sighed.
"When he becomes a male, not even a man, but a male, I would talk about that pamperous arrogant fifty yard stick in the ass Hyuga bastard." Naruko replied and Sasuke chuckled.
"Lee?"
"Nice guy, smart enough to back off, better date someone else or Sasuke will end his youth."
"Damn right I will." Sasuke replied seriously.
'They need a shrink.' Kakashi thought. "Ok, Hinata?"
"I really like her. She's nice, hard working, and sweet.. For some reason, she doesn't like Sasuke?" Naruko asked and Sasuke shook his head.
"Nah, water under the bridge. What about the others?" He really wanted to see her hidden depth.
"Shino reminds me of me, outcasted for something inside of him and totally harmless, like, they judge him for being an amazing shinobi in training? Kiba is too brash and well, kinda rude, but a loyal kind guy beneath. He was a friend back then, and Shikamaru.. Well, he's lazy, but a true genius, maybe we should be friends? Choji is sweet." Naruko replied as Sasuke's Sharingan turned on as then they shifted to his Mangekyo. "But honestly, Sasuke is definitely the best guy I know, psychotic side apart..."
"Naruko, you really..?" Sasuke asked, a bit shocked at her honesty. "I swear it on the souls of each and every Uchiha I like and respect and upon my honor, I shall die for you.."
"Nooo! I don't want to lose my Teme! I just can't lose the one person I do care about mutually..." Naruko hugged him and he relaxed a bit. Then he gave her a serious look.
"We talked about this. I have until the day after your thirteenth. By then, I will get you something, okay? Something special." Sasuke replied as she sighed in defeat. "Besides, who knows, maybe I will close the gap?"
"I doubt it, but I know that you two would improve. Actually, I am shocked at Sasuke's speed more than Naruko. I mean, you girl have a healing factor." Kakashi commented. "Tomorrow we'll go home.
