"What should I do now," Naruto said loud as he slowly approached the body. The man didn't move at all even when Naruto was close enough to give him a few pokes in the face. Trying to nudge his shoulder it was clear that he was passed out. Deciding to roll the man over onto his back Naruto gets a better look at his sunken face. Just then a weak groan of pain escaped the man's lips.

"Your alive, hey can you hear me," Naruto said as he dropped to the man's side. The man was now trying to speak but Naruto couldn't make out the words.

"What? I can't understand you," Naruto said as he moved in closer. However, this was just what the man wanted he suddenly sprung up his skeletal hands grabbing a hold of the front of his robes.

"Give me your wand." He croaked out, it sounded like he hadn't used his voice in a long time. Before Naruto had any time to consider what the man had told him the two of them were rolling around on the ground. The man was trying to wrestle the wand out of his hand while Naruto tried to reach into his robes.

"Let go, you bastard," Naruto shouted as he brought a knee up hitting the man hard in the gut. With a grunt of pain, the grip on the front of his robes lessened. Using the momentum of the hit Naruto was able to flip the man over so that he was now atop of him. Pulling his hand from out of his robes Naruto brought the edge of a knife to the man's neck.

Feeling the cold steel the man let go of Naruto and raised his hands in surrender. With one hand on the knife and the other holding his wand, Naruto slowly started to get up. Never taking his eyes off the man who still stayed in the ground unmoving. He saw a look of silent terror and pleading in the man's sunken black eyes. Whatever he was doing here it was clear enough to Naruto the man was desperate and on the run.

"Who the hell are you?" Naruto asked as he put his knife back inside his robes he still kept his wand on the man.

"Don't you know who I am boy?" The man asked as he looked at the wand in Naruto's hand.

"Some kind of magic bum," Naruto said matter-o-factly. This caused the man to break out into a thunderous laugh that sounded like a bark.

"No, I am Sirius Black." Whatever reaction Sirius Black was expecting from the blonde boy a nod of the head was not it.

"Ok Sirius Black, I'm Naruto Uzumaki," Naruto said introducing himself to the man as well, thinking back the name did sound familiar. Sirius just looked at him for a moment wondering if he was being serious.

"So, Sirius, why did you try to take my wand," Naruto asked.

"I've broken out of Azkaban and don't have a wand of my own," Sirius said as he looked the blonde teen dead in the eyes.

"Does this have something to do with Harry Potter?" Naruto asked hoping he would get some answers now. At the mention of Harry's name, the man seemed to focus more.

"You know Harry," Sirius asked finally looking away from the wand and at Naruto's eyes.

"He's a friend and my dormitory mate," Naruto said as he watched the man closely.

"Are you trying to kill him?" Naruto bluntly asked having concluded from what Hermione had told him. Sirius Black had escaped from the one place no one was supposed to escape from. Now Dementors were guarding the school and Harry couldn't leave the castle on his own.

"What? no, I'm trying to save Harry's life," Sirius said as he and Naruto looked at each other for a long time in silence.

"Alright, I believe you," Naruto said lowering his wand. "Why does Harry need saving."

"You believe me," Sirius asked. "Why - whyare you helping me," wondering about the boy's true intentions.

"Because I can tell you want to help Harry," Naruto said "So why did you break out of Azkaban."

"It all started years ago when I killed my best friend and his wife," Sirius said as he took a breath of air. "It was dark times and you-know-who was at the height of power." The next hour was spent with Sirius telling Naruto the tale of the last days of James and Lily Potter.

"When I finally tracked down Peter he blow-up the street and slipped away." Sirius finished with such hatred Naruto thought he was going to explode. "And me I was the framed for the murders of the muggles."

"So a man named Peter Pettigrew who was one of your best friends along with, James and professor Lupin betrayed you all and framed me," Naruto said, to which Sirius just nodded his head in agreement too.

"And he's been living with the Weasley family as a rat become you all animagus," Naruto remembered Minerva's lesson about them another day. they were witches and wizards that could turn in to an animal on will. "So now you need to catch him to clear your name, lock away the one responsible for the death of Harry's parents, Who just so happens to be your godson." At this Sirius hesitated to answer, but finally gave another nod. Naruto had to take a moment to think.

"Man, this is heavy," Naruto said as he put his wand away and started to rub his forehead trying to wrap his mind around everything he was just told. Sirius seemed to relax a bit seeing that Naruto believe him.

"Alright, so why don't I just tell Harry or Lupin the truth about the rat," Naruto asked thinking of the simplest solution.

"Because they won't believe me unless I have proof, it's a complicated spell to force a wizard out of his Animagus form. The second little Peter suspects something he'll vanish." Sirius finished by now the man was sitting up on the cool ground while Naruto paced back and forth.

"Right, good point," Naruto said trying to think back on how many times he had seen Ron's rat from the start of term which had sent been much now that he was thinking about it. "What about me I could grab the rat for you."

"Won't work the second your back in Gryffindor Tower Peter will smell my scent on you." Sirius finish shooting down the idea.

"Alright, I'll have to try and find a way to get you into Gryffindor tower, in the meantime you need to get your strength back up I was too easy for me to knock you off," Naruto told Sirius with a smirk this just caused the older man to laugh out loud.

"Well you told me the truth about you so it's only fair I do the same," Naruto said as he fixed Sirius with a serious look. "I'm not from this world." And so just as he did with Hermione, Naruto explains to Sirius who he was and how he had ended up in Hogwarts. To say the older man was surprised would be an understatement.

Merlin's beard," Was all that Sirius could say once Naruto was done. He had heard some strange things in his life but this was easily the top one.

"Look stay here, I'll be back in the morning with some food," Naruto told the man as he took off his school robe and tossed it over the man. "It's starting to get cold is take this. I need to get back to collecting flobberworms for my detention."

"Thank you, Naruto," Sirius said as he excepted the cloak from the blonde.

"Don't worry about it," Naruto said stopped and bringing his fingers up to his lips let out a loud whistle into the night air. After a few minutes of silence, the sound of flapping wings drew near.

"Téme, I want you to stay close to Sirius and help him out," Naruto said as he instructed the large raven. The bird looked from Naruto to Sirius before letting out a loud cry and flow off into the night. "Alright if you need me just call Téme."

"Wait how do you know he will help?" Sirius asked getting up off the ground

"Don't worry he's a bastard but he'll help. Naruto and with that he walked back to the vegetable patch. This time he decided to use a shield charm before casting the Accio spell to protect himself from getting hit by flobberworms. Once Filch had come back down from the castle to collect him he handed over his two full buckets and quickly headed back to Gryffindor Tower.

He was surprised to see that Hermione had fallen asleep in the large armchair by the fire an open book on her lap. She had tried to stay awake waiting for him to return to the common room. Slowly pulled the book from her lap and grabbing a blanket off the couch he gently dropped it over her.

"Goodnight Hermione." He said with a smile on his face as he made his way up the staircase to the boy's dormitory.

"Naruto," turning back he saw that she had pulled the blanket closer to herself and was muttering in her sleep. Despite how late he had gone to bed Naruto had still woken up early the following morning. Moving down the staircase to the common room he saw that Hermione was drill fast asleep on the armchair. Deciding that maybe letting her sleep in the common room might not have been the best idea. Naruto walks over to the sleepinggirl and started to gently shake her away.

"Hey, Hermione," Naruto said and after a minute or two, the bushy-haired girl finally starts to awaken.

"Naruto? What time is it." Hermione said with a little yawn as she rubbed her eyes a bit to get the sleep out is them. As she did this Naruto couldn't help but think how cute it looked.

"It's six in the morning," Naruto said. "You fell asleep in the common room."

"Oh I did, I was trying to stay awake till you got back," Hermione said as he threw the blanket off and stood from the armchair. "Did you cover me with the blanket?"

"Yeah, I got back and you were asleep so I covered you and decided to leave you sleeping," Naruto said as he rubbed the back of his head. "Sorry I didn't think you would stay down here the whole night."

"It's alright," Hermione said as she collected her book. "So how was your first detention." That the way she had spoken Naruto could tell that she was a bit upset with what he had done. Naruto hesitated for a moment before answering.

"Not too bad," Naruto said with a fake smile that Hermione was easily able to see through. "Pretty boring to tell the truth don't see why detention is such a big deal." At this, however, Hermione was upon Naruto all traces of sleep gone.

"No, you mustn't continue to get in trouble Naruto," she berated him "If you do you could get expelled from Hogwarts." Seeing how upset this was making her Naruto quickly calmed her down.

"Alright, Hermione I promise I won't get into any more trouble," Naruto told her And so he would continue to go to his classes every day as well as his detentions. He would still wake up early in the morning for his training along with his normal tutoring from Hermione. Every chance he could he would send Téme from the Gryffindor table with food for Sirius. When asked why he was doing this by anyone he would just say he was feeding a creature in the forbidden forest. And thanks to his growing reputation as a boy with no fear everyone seemed to believe this excuse.

Every weekend when he didn't have a detention Naruto would visit Sirius. He had taken to staying within the school grounds in his dog form. These visits were short, but Sirius still enjoyed having another person to talk to. As for classes in no time at all, Defense Against the Dark Arts had become most people's favorite class. Only Draco Malfoy and his gang of Slytherins had anything bad to say about Professor Lupin.

"Look at the state of his robes," Malfoy would say in a loud whisper as Professor Lupin passed.

"He dresses like our old house-elf." But no one else cared that Professor Lupin's robes were patched and frayed. His next few lessons were just as interesting as the first. After boggarts, they studied Red Caps, nasty little goblinlike creatures that lurked wherever there had been bloodshed: in the dungeons of castles and the potholes of deserted battlefields, waiting to bludgeon those who had gotten lost. From Red Caps they moved on to kappas, creepy water-dwellers that looked like scaly monkeys, with webbed hands itching to strangle unwitting waders in their ponds.

As for potions, the class remains one of Naruto's favorites despite the face-Off between him and Snape which the whole school now knows about. Still, an unspoken understanding has fallen between the two Naruto right behind Hermione was still one of the top students in Snape's third-year class. However these days Snape was in a particularly vindictive mood and no one was in any doubt why. The story of the boggart assuming Snape's shape, and the way that Neville had dressed it in his grandmother's clothes, had traveled through the school like wildfire. Snape didn't seem to find it funny. His eyes flashed menacingly at the very mention of Professor Lupin's name. And he was bullying Neville worse than ever on more than one occasion Hermione had only just stopped him from confronting the potions master again. As for Divination Naruto like Harry, Ron and Hermione thought that the class was a joke.

Nobody liked Care of Magical Creatures, which, after the action-packed first class, had become extremely dull. Hagrid seemed to have lost his confidence. They were now spending lesson after lesson learning how to look after flobberworms, which had to be some of the most boring creatures in existence.

"Why would anyone bother looking after them?" said Ron, after yet another hour of poking shredded lettuce down the flobberworms' slimy throats. At the start of October Sirius and Naruto had finally come up with hey suitable plan for getting the man into Gryffindor Tower without being spotted by anyone. on the night of the Halloween feast, Naruto would open the front doors and give him the password for the Gryffindor common room. If all when according to plan Sirius would have his revenge before the knight was over.

Two weeks into October the inhabitants of Gryffindor Tower were greeted by an unusual sight. No one had seen Naruto Uzumaki all morning and Hermione had begun to worry. Harry and Ron thought that maybe he had gone straight to the great hall for breakfast after his training. When they reached the great hall and we're unable to spot the bright blonde-haired teen among the Gryffindor table.

"Maybe he's still training." Suggested Ron as he sat down to eat. However, Hermione and even Harry didn't think this was the case. all through the morning afternoon classes, it seemed that none of the professors noticed Naruto was not in class. And when Hermione would ask none of them would give the girl a straight answer. By the time dinner rolled around Naruto was only just now exiting the forbidden forest and making his way up the school grounds towards the castle.

"I still miss it there. . . but am glad I'm not there anymore," Naruto said to himself all day he was dealing with a strange mixture of emotions. The hidden life was his home no matter how bad his childhood was but these past months spent in Hogwarts were easily the best of his life bar none. He always thought he wanted to become Hokage but now there was a whole world of opportune. Where no one hated him for just being alive every day.

"I find that a nice walk can help clear one's mind of any melancholy," Looking up Naruto saw that the headmaster was standing in front of him. "You must indeed be very trouble today if I was able to so easily walk up to you with you you noticing."

"Dumbledore how did you know I was out here?" Naruto asked surprised to see the old man.

"I distinctly remember you telling me about your past birthdays," Dumbledore said as he fixed Naruto with a sad smile. "A forest will always make a good place to hide in."

"Right I. . . just wanted to get some fresh air you know," Naruto said with a laugh and bright smile that failed to reach his eyes.

"Ah yes, but I believe that your friend Miss Granger, in particular, have been worried about you simply vanishing today," Dumbledore said with a small chuckle at Naruto's look of puzzlement.

"Really!?" Naruto was once again surprised "wait will be in trouble for missing classes today."

"Not to worry I have already explained the situation to the other professors, but I must ask that next you try to remember that things are different now Naruto and you don't need to hide away anymore." Dumbledore offered kindly to the teen.

"Thanks, old man," Naruto said this time his smile was sincere. And with that, the two of them walked back towards the castle. By the time Naruto stepped into the Gryffindor common room It was almost empty. Say for Harry who was working on some homework Hermione who was sitting in the armchair with a book and her cat.

"Yo," Naruto greeted he had stepped through the portrait hole.

"Naruto." they both called out as they left their things and walked up to him.

"What happened? are you alright? where we're you all day?" Hermione had been the first to reach him and was looking him over for any kind of injury.

"Hermione I'm alright really, I was in the forbidden forest all day," Naruto said hoping this would calm the girl down but it had the opposite effect.

"What but you promised not to do anything that would get you into trouble," Hermione said her mind running wild at the possibility of what would happen to him for missing a whole day of lessons.

"Don't worry Dumbledore said it was alright I'm not in trouble," Naruto said and this did calm her down some.

"Why we're you in the first all day?" Harry asked still not fully understanding.

"Oh well you see today is my birthday," Naruto paused for a moment and thought that if he should already tell Harry the truth. Looking over that Hermione she gave him a reassuring nod. "Harry I think it's time a told you the truth about me." And so just like with Sirius a few weeks Naruto retold his real-life story.

"Wow, that unbelievable." Harry was saying an hour later. "So you're really from another world and you're supposed to be a ninja." That his Naruto pulled out two knives from within his robes and tossed them across the room were to both hits the dead center of the bulletin board.

"Cool, wait so who else knows about you not being from here," Harry said

"Well, Dumbledore, McGonagall, and Snape for sure Hagrid Maybe plus you and Hermione, and other than that no one else," Naruto said

"What about Ron you haven't told him yet?" Harry asked

"Well Ron and I are friends enough but I'm not ready to tell him just yet." Naruto finished rubbing the back of his head a bit. And just as Harry was about to say something on behalf of Ron to show Naruto he trusts the redhead Hermione quickly cut in.

"Harry the Headmaster told Naruto to be cautious about who he tells and if he tells them that he feels he's sure." Hermione quickly said standing up for Naruto. "I'm sure he'll tell Ron when he's ready.

"Alright," Harry said begrudgingly but still understanding the Hermione was right about this. The three of them talked a bit more till Harry had finally gone to bed it was only Naruto and Hermione left. Because of missing a day even off Dumbledore said it was alright Naruto still had to do his work. It was a little past midnight when Naruto had finally finished.

"Thanks, Hermione for staying up to help," Naruto said as he started to gather up his things. While he was doing this he had failed to notice Hermione pull something from within her bag.

"Happy Birthday Naruto," Hermione said as she handed Naruto the small package. "I wanted to give it to you this morning.

"What?" Naruto said shocked at what she had said. Looking up he saw that she was holding out a bundle that was wrapped in blue paper. Reaching out a hand he tentatively took a hold of what was his first real birthday present.

"Wow, Hermione," Naruto said as he ripped the paper away and so that she had gone him a long orange scarf. He wrapped it around his neck enjoying how soft it was. "Thank you." Hermione was very pleased with how much Naruto liked her gift.

"Oh, Naruto it's alright," Hermione said as she saw the boy start to get a little misty-eyed. Pulling Naruto into a hug Hermione notice how his body went rigid for a moment when she first touched him. After a moment Naruto relaxed and hugged her back.

The next day in Herbology Naruto learned about the Incident between Scabbers and Crookshanks. Which explained why Ron was still in such a bad mood. He barely talked to Hermione all through Herbology, even though all four of them were working together on the same puffapod.

"How's Scabbers?" Hermione asked timidly as they stripped fat pink pods from the plants and emptied the shining beans into a wooden pail.

"He's hiding at the bottom of my bed, shaking," said Ron angrily, missing the pail and scattering beans over the greenhouse floor. This was good news for Naruto, the rat was still alive and two its was still in Gryffindor tower.

"Careful, Weasley, careful!" cried Professor Sprout as the beans burst into bloom before their very eyes.

They had Transfiguration next. Harry, who had resolved to ask Professor McGonagall after the lesson whether he could go into Hogsmeade with the rest, joined the line outside the class trying to decide how he was going to argue his case with the help of Naruto. Naruto was distracted, however, by a disturbance at the front of the line. Lavender Brown seemed to be crying. Parvati had her arm around her and was explaining something to Seamus Finnigan and Dean Thomas, who was were looking very serious.

"What's the matter, Lavender?" said Hermione anxiously as she, Harry, Naruto, and Ron went to join the group.

"She got a letter from home this morning," Parvati whispered. "It's her rabbit, Binky. He's been killed by a fox."

"Oh," said Hermione, "I'm sorry, Lavender."

"I should have known!" said Lavender tragically. "You know what day it is?"

"Er —"

"The sixteenth of October! 'That thing you're dreading, it will happen on the sixteenth of October!' Remember? She was right, she was right!" Hermione looked like she was about to say something but Naruto stopped her. This earned him a look from the girl.

Just then Professor McGonagall opened the classroom door. Naruto took a seat next to Hermione as Ron seated himself on the other side of Harry. when the bell rang at the end of the lesson Professor McGonagall addressed the class.

"One moment, please!" she called as the class made to leave. "As most of you are in my house, you should hand Hogsmeade permission forms to me before Halloween. No form, no visiting the village, so don't forget!" Neville put up his hand.

"Please, Professor, I — I think I've lost —"

"Your grandmother sent yours to me directly, Longbottom," said Professor McGonagall. "She seemed to think it was safer. Well, that's all, you may leave.

"Ask her now," Naruto could hear Ron hiss at Harry.

"Oh, but —" Hermione began trying to step in, but Harry just moved forward as Naruto, Ron, and Hermione went to go wait outside the classroom. There was nothing to be done. Once Harry came out and let them know what Professor McGonagall had told him, Ron called Professor McGonagall a lot of names that greatly annoyed Hermione; Hermione assumed an "all-for-the-best" expression that made Ron even angrier, and Harry had to endure everyone in the class talking loudly and happily about what they were going to do first, once they got into Hogsmeade.

"Will you get to go to Hogsmeade Naruto," Hermione suddenly asked the blonde realizing that technically he didn't have any guardians to sign the form for him.

"I have no idea," Naruto told her as they headed down to the great hall for dinner. Once finished with his dinner Naruto walked over to the head table where Snape was talking with Professor Dumbledore.

"Hey Albus, Hey Severus," Naruto said once he had reached them at the staff table

"Good evening Naruto, how are you finding your classes," Dumbledore asked kindly, as he took a drink from his goblet. Snape didn't look as pleased to see Naruto.

"They're going great, having Hermione around has been a big help." Naruto said, "So McGonagall just told us about Hogsmeade, and I was wondering if I will be able to go." Naruto asked hopefully. As he tried to steal a price of treacle tart that was still left on Snape's plate. However, the potion master quickly swatted his hand away with the back of his fork.

"Yes, your situation is a unique one, but do not fear I see no reason why you can't enjoy the village with the rest of the third years," Dumbledore told him happily.

"Great thanks." And with that Naruto walked out of the Great Hall, where Harry, Ron, and Hermione were waiting near the marble staircase for him.

"Hey guys, Dumbledore just told me I can go to Hogsmeade," Naruto said happily.

"Oh, that's wonderful Naruto, you can come along with me and Ron," Hermione told him, at the sound of this Naruto got a big grin on his face. Much to the dismay of Harry who would be the odd man out.

The next day was Halloween and they had all gathered by the front doors where he was checking the names of those who were permitted to go to Hogsmeade from a large list.

"There's always the feast," said Ron, to cheer Harry up. "You know, the Halloween feast, in the evening."

"Yeah," said Harry gloomily, " as they finished saying goodbye to each other.

"We'll bring you lots of sweets back from Honeydukes," said Hermione, looking desperately sorry for him.

"Yeah, loads," said Ron. He and Hermione had finally forgotten their squabble about Crookshanks in the face of Harry's difficulties.

"Don't worry about me," said Harry, in what he hoped was an offhand voice, "I'll see you at the feast. Have a good time" Filch, the caretaker, was standing inside the front doors, peering suspiciously into every face, and making sure that no one was sneaking out who shouldn't be going.

"Staying here, Potter?" shouted Malfoy, who was standing in line with Crabbe and Goyle.

"Scared of passing the dementors?" However, he stopped once they saw the look Naruto was sending over at them. As they said their final goodbyes Naruto, Ron and Hermione took off with the rest of the students down the school lawns towards the main gates.

Once they finally reached the gates Naruto got his first look at the dreaded Dementors he kept on hearing about. Instantly he started to feel an unnatural cold wash over him as they pass the gliding things, who were hovering close to the gates trying to fight the urge to swoop down upon them all. Luckily for them, the Dementors were being kept at bay by the presents of Albus Dumbledore who had his wand out ready to push them back if need be.

"Is that them? the Dementors." Naruto told Hermione as they passed through the gate and moved up the lane that leads to Hogsmeade Village, her only response was a curt nod. The Dementors looked like humans, but unlike any Naruto had ever seen they were 10 feet high and covered in dark hooded cloaks of long ripped black cloth, making them closely resemble wraiths. He didn't see any feet, but their hands were greyed and decayed looking, like a decomposing corpse

"I can see why Sirius left Azkaban," Naruto said to himself as they made their way up the road.

"What did you say," Hermione asked sharply, at this Naruto realized he had spoken too loudly.

"I mean that man Sirius Black, he must have left prison to get away from those things, right," Naruto told her offhandedly hoping she would believe him. Luckily for Naruto, he was saved any further explanation thanks to Ron.

"Look you two," Ron called out excitedly as they finally reached the village. Hogsmeade was made up of little thatched cottages and shops were all over there were carved jack-o-lanterns on the sides of doors and strings of enchanted black candles hanging in the trees giving off a ghostly blue light. All up and down the main high-street Naruto could see Hogwarts students busily moving about from shop to shop.

"So where should we go first?" Naruto asked and together the three of them started to explore the village. They when inside almost all the shops there was Dervish and Banges a helpful shop that sells and repairs some magical instruments, Dogweed and Deathcap a Herbology shop, Gladrags Wizardwear a clothing shop that also sells very lurid socks, including ones that scream when they get too smelly.

Next, they when to the Hogsmeade Post Office owls were sitting hooting softly down at them, at least three hundred of them; from Great Grays right down to tiny little Scops owls ("Local Deliveries Only"), which were so small they could have sat in the palm of Naruto's hand. Then they visited Zonko's, which was so packed with students there were jokes and tricks to fulfill even the Weasley twins' wildest dreams.

They left Zonko's Naruto and Ron's pockets bulging with Dungbombs, Hiccup Sweets, Frog Spawn Soap, and a Nose-Biting Teacup apiece. The last shop they visited was Honeydukes, a sweet shop. Honeydukes was so crowded with Hogwarts students. There were shelves upon shelves of the most succulent-looking sweets imaginable. Creamy chunks of nougat, shimmering pink squares of coconut ice, fat, honey-colored toffees; hundreds of different kinds of chocolate in neat rows; there was a large barrel of Every Flavor Beans, and another of Fizzing Whizbees, the levitating sherbert balls that Ron had mentioned; along yet another wall were "Special Effects" sweets: Drooble's Best Blowing Gum (which filled a room with bluebell-colored bubbles that refused to pop for days), the strange, splintery Toothflossing Stringmints, tiny black Pepper Imps ("breathe fire for your friends!"), Ice Mice ("hear your teeth chatter and squeak!"), peppermint creams shaped like toads ("hop realistically in the stomach!"), fragile sugar-spun quills, and exploding bonbons.

"Bloody hell, this place is amazing". Ron said out loud and he, Naruto, and Hermione had a good long time carefully looking around the shop at all the sweets. Naruto ended up buying a dozen black Pepper Imps thinking to himself breathing fire could come in hand. Once finished the three friends turned their attention to the last stop in their trip. So, they crossed the road, and in a few minutes were entering the Three Broomsticks. It was a tiny inn that was extremely crowded, noisy, warm, and smoky. A curvy sort of woman with a pretty face was serving a bunch of rowdy warlocks up at the bar.

"Come on you two let's get a table," Hermione said as she let the two boys to the only open table left in the room. They were waged between the window which was next to the fireplace. A few minutes later they were approached by the woman who had been standing behind the bar.

"Welcome my dears, how can I get you started?" She asked looking around at them happily.

"Three butterbeer, please," Hermione ordered for them, the witch walked away with their order and returned moments later carrying three large tankards filled with hot butterbeer.

"Here you go, and if there's anything else you might need just ask Madam Rosmerta." She told as she walked off to take another order.

"Cheers., Naruto called out as he lifted his tankard and drank deeply. It was the most delicious thing he'd ever tasted and seemed to heat every bit of him from the inside.

"So, how're your detentions going," asked Ron after he had put down his butterbeer,

"It's not bad really when Filch or Snape isn't around I just use magic to get it over with fast." At this Ron laugh

"Oh, Naruto you shouldn't, be doing that," Hermione told him and so the rest of their time in the Three Broomsticks was spent with each of them taking it, in turn, to talk about themselves, with Ron and Hermione getting to know him a bit better.

The sun was starting to go down when they finally decided to head back to the school, Naruto being generous and paying for their butterbeer. Once back in the castle they parted ways

"I'll meet you guys at the feast I just need to check with Snape if I have a detention tonight." Allowing them to see him walk down to the dungeons he quickly doubled back up the marble staircase and through the castle making sure to be unseen by any student till he reaches the Owlery. With the skills that allowed him to sneak around a village while wearing a bright orange jumpsuit.

"Téme I need you to take this to Sirius," Naruto said as he tied a piece of parchment to the raven's leg that had the day's new password to Gryffindor Tower. Once that was done he silently moved back down towards the entrance hall doors. Naruto pulled out his wand and pointed it at the door's locks.

"Alohomora"there was the sound of a loud click as the doors swung open. Stepping outside Naruto pointed his wand in the air, and fired off several large red sparks before turning back into the castle. Naruto Moved into the Great hall. It had been decorated with hundreds and hundreds of candle-filled pumpkins, a cloud of fluttering live bats, and many flaming orange streamers, which were swimming lazily across the stormy ceiling like brilliant watersnakes. The food was delicious; even with his stomach full to bursting with Honeydukes sweets, he managed second helpings of everything. Naruto glanced up at the staff table and around the hall. No one seemed to pay him any mind. With any luck, Sirius would be getting Scabbers at this very moment.
