Chapter 13
Kate looked at the Hale house and instead of being crispy and burned as it was a before, she left it was all fixed up and in front of it were a few nice cars. She also saw movement inside the house, she looked to her left and right and using hands signals moved one of her men to the right and the other to the left.
"He wants us to wait." one of the hunters told Kate who rolled her eyes.
"So, I've been reminded to death." Kate said slowly looking at him then back at the house.
"That means we aren't allow to kill him." The other hunter told her.
"True but that doesn't mean we can say hello." Kate said with a smirk, seeing the movement she figured there was only one person in the house.
Kate and her men entered the home through separate doors, quickly breaking the doors down sweeping the house as they went until they were in living room where they saw the movement in the windows. There was music blasting in the house some electronica bullshit, Kate hated this kind of music.
Kate was surprised instead of seeing Derek Hale she found two teenagers who upon seeing them wolfed out and started attacking her men and her. Kate smiled dodging the female werewolves' attacks until as she fell onto the ground, she got a shocking baton to her abdomen, the female wolf couldn't take much as she fell unconscious but not before letting out a howl of her own. Turning she saw the bigger male werewolf gripping on of her men by the throat, she acted quickly taking Erica by the throat lifting her a little and putting a knife to her throat.
"Put him down or I kill the girl." Kate told the large teen.
"Let her go please." Boyd said releasing the other hunter, as he did, he felt to batons to his sides and he fell to the ground howling in pain before passing out.
"New idea boys we used these two betas to get to the alpha." Kate said smiling as they took the teens.
Malia and Kora were still with Scott as he stood back up, that's when they heard the howls though this want the alpha. Hearing the howls all the teens knew exactly who it was, it was Erica and Boyd, 'something must have happened' Scott thought.
Acting quickly, he looked at the girls and all of them started running towards the howls and the Hale house. Scott while he ran texted Stiles and Isaac hoping one of the girls would message Derek and no one would text Peter.
"We have to get there quicker." Scott said and transformed fully into his wolf which mad the girls do the same and quickened the pace by a lot.
Peter heard the howls of his two beta's and immediately stopped his plotting for a moment, Scott would have to wait. As much as he didn't care he knew if he wanted to win this fight with the Argents, he would need his wolves. He started running towards the Hale house as well his red eyes beaming in anger as he did.
The teens go to the Hale house well after the hunters had left, soon after they got there, Peter showed up he looked pissed. Derek showed up after that with Isaac and Stiles, they all looked at each other then it started. Scott looked at Peter and sniffing the air he could smell he was still bleeding.
"You attacked us!" He exclaimed.
"Yeah, I told you I was going to turn her whether you liked it or not. However, we have other matters to deal with, Boyd and Erica aren't here." Peter told them all.
"The only reason I'm not completely tearing you apart right now is Boyd and Erica aren't here and there howls meant they are in a lot of danger." Scott countered remembering he had friend at stake here and Peters retribution would have to wait.
"So, you lied to us at first then, the alpha that's been killing people, was you?" Derek question Peter.
"I never lied I just avoided the truth, those men have it coming as do the Argents and anyone else who helped burn our home and kill our family." Peter said.
"We can get to this later; Boyd and Erica need out help." Malia said irritated.
"No, we won't. Scott, Isaac you left out pack and for that you have no interest in helping us. You can leave." Peter said angrily as if trying to punish Scott.
"Are you really going to turn away their help?" Derek asked Peter seriously.
"Of course, I don't trust them, I can think of a reason id want Scott someone who literally just said he was going to 'tear me apart' to watch my back and not think he'd stab it." Peter said to them.
Scott, Isaac, and Stiles got into Stiles' jeep and drove off without a word, Scott didn't want to stop looking for his friends and didn't plan to stop but Peter wasn't going to let him stay. Isaac in the back seat leaned upward and look to Scott as they drove away from the house.
"What's the plan? We aren't gonna stop, are we?" Isaac asked Scott.
"Simple, we find the people responsible and take them down. I recognized one of the scents there at the house. It was Kate Argent." Scott told them.
"I'm all for rescue missions but I'm not bullet proof." Stiles responded to him.
"Don't worry, your part is small, and you won't be in danger. First we rally at my house for a team plan session" Scott said thinking of a plan to rescue the other two betas.
Peter sighed as he rubbed his temples, he knew there was very few people who would take his betas, but this has to be the Argents trying to draw him out. He looked to his pack or he guessed the people around him, could he truly trust them. Malia and Cora were literally just about to kill him for attacking Scott.
"Cora and Malia, you girls stay here guard the house for me and keep the door locked." Peter said wanting the girls to stay far away from the carnage and because he didn't trust them.
"I'm not staying here; Erica and Boyd are pack…..." Malia was interrupted by a loud howl and she immediately back down and looked to the ground.
"I'll make sure she stays here with me." Cora told Peter who nodded.
"I take it its just me and you then." Derek said to Peter.
"Yes, now let's go find our pack members and hopefully not deal with any more nonsense." Peter told his nephew as they both sped off.
Stiles now at Scotts house took out his phone and showed him the footage Lydia had of the beast they now knew to be Peter. They however also had other things on their mind, Boyd and Erica needed saving and Scott didn't trust Peter to not break down the Argents house door and kill them all.
"Delete it, we can't have that get out. As for Boyd and Erica, I don't think they would hold them in Allison's basement so they must be somewhere else." Scott said thinking tactics he had read about in Peters library.
"Right so abandoned buildings and other places like that." Stiles said on the computer looking for buildings with strong enough walls and far enough away from prying eyes.
"I know of a few places off hand, but I had been digging like you asked me to about Mr. Argents business. I think its linked to the hunters so we can rule out anything not owned by them." Isaac told Stiles as they now looked at a lot less buildings.
"Good thinking Isaac." Scott said with a smile.
Scott paced his kitchen thinking of how he could locate them, unlike Peter he didn't have an alpha bond with them, and they were probably too weak to howl. That didn't however mean he couldn't howl to give them hope.
"Guys we have to get to the cliffside over Beacon Hills, we can't let Boyd and Erica know they don't have hope. Stiles we need your dads' megaphone" Scott said then all three boys left to the car.
Kate smiled as she and her people were in the basement of one of the abandoned sewage junction buildings, they had Boyd and Erica tied up to a metal gated wall which was also electrified when she hit a button. This was for the hunter's safety, they also injected them with little bits of wolfsbane to keep them week.
"So, are either of you going to tell me where to find your alpha and who it is?" Kate said to the two teens who had woken a little bit ago.
Both teens were quiet and looked at each other quick then to her, Boyd said nothing just stared but Erica did not.
"We are telling you anything you hunter bitch." Erica seethed.
Kate smiled at them as she set the dial and now pressed the button, electricity now surged through the metal which then hit them. The teens winced in pain and screamed, this caused Kate to grin widely. She loved this part of the job, not only that but it was definitely a turn on for her.
"That's right scream!" She said as she turned it off.
"Now tell me who your alpha is." She demanded then stopped as she heard it, a very loud howl that boomed through the entire town.
Hearing the howl Kate wasn't sure if was the alpha but they needed to make sure, Kate and her hunters left the room leaving the broken and beaten teens. Erica and Boyd heard the howl and were surprised to hear Scott calling out for them. They knew he would be coming for them and it also helped get some of the hunters away from them.
"He will save us I know it." Boyd told Erica who nodded.
Peter and Derek heard the howl and looked up towards where it came from, Scott wasn't giving up on looking for Boyd and Erica. They knew he wouldn't, but this would help them more than him, this would draw the hunters to him and who ever else was with him. Peter knew that wasn't what he meant to do but he looked at Derek who nodded as he ran towards the cliff. Scot may not have been pack but he would need backup with the hunters coming for him.
"I'll find my betas and Scott will be mine again." Peter said with a smirk as Derek sped off.
Scott and Isaac figured out the building they needed to go to but weren't sure if it was safe yet, they had left the cliffside but not the area soon after he howled using the megaphone. Stiles was left at Scott's house to talk with Melissa about why Scott didn't show up to the teachers conference he knew he would be in for it when he got home but lives were on the line.
"You ready Scott?" Isaac asked him as he heard hunters in the woods.
"Yea, remember just knock them out we aren't here for blood. Information and that's it, once we know which building, we will get Boyd and Erica." Scott told him.
The boys split up as they waited for some of the hunters to come up the trail, the idea was to pick of the one's watching the rear and question them before knocking them out. Scott started first seeing Kate in the lead she had 4 hunters with her. What they didn't know was Derek was on his way and he had ideas of his own.
"Spread out, groups of two. We will find the alpha." Kate said coming up the hill.
Scott started first taking the left flank out first as they reached out of Kate's eyesight, jumping from a tree he immediately hit one of them on the head bring him down. The other heard it and turned but Scott was gone and now tapped on his shoulder. Turning he punched him in the gut and took his weapon. The hunter took out a shock baton and swinging it at him he dodged it before catching his arm and elbowing him in the face. He also manager to grab a pair of handcuffs from Stiles house, catching his arm he got one hand he also quickly snapped one of his hands in the cuff. With one arm incapacitated he slammed him against a tree stunning him enough for him to get his hands to wrap around and tree and snapping the other cuff on.
"Now we are gonna talk." Scott told the hunter.
Isaac took his side out as well, but he was unable to get them into the cuffs, instead he had to knock them both out. He hoped Scott had better luck and getting over to him he saw he did with the hunter wrapped around the tree cuffed. Scott was talking to him and he listened in.
"I'm not telling you anything alpha scum." the hunter stated right away.
"You won't have to; I'm going to make you my beta. After that I'll force it out of you" Scott declared trying to bluff his way to get the information.
"You wouldn't?" the hunter questioned scared.
"Well I don't want to, but I also know your code so once I get the info you will kill yourself and ill have my actual betas." Scott said bluffing again as he smirked opening his mouth and with his fangs growing closing his eyes.
The hunter panicked and as Scott got closer, he tried to move away, Isaac watched in awe as the hunter started to talk.
"Fine, stop, stop, stop. I'll tell you where they are just don't turn me. I don't want to die." The hunter said.
Isaac came out of the woods now and stood next to Scott as the hunter told them everything. As they did, they didn't hear Kate coming up behind them and taking aim she went to shoot at the teen though she couldn't see their faces but knew they were werewolves. From behind though as she went to pull the trigger, she was smack to the ground making her drop the gun. Derek smiled at her.
"You aren't hurting anyone." Derek said changing his ice blue eyes starring into her soul and growling lightly.
Kate got up and trying to grab for the gun felt a kick to her side and wincing rolled over taking grasp of her baton and standing shot it out and hit the button for the electricity. Derek waved her forward.
"Go get the others." Derek called out to the teens who raced away.
"Really, think you can take me yourself?" Kate said with a smirk pressing the electricity on her baton threateningly.
Peter couldn't get any sense on where his beta were, he figured since he was there alpha, he'd be able to feel the connection but as he tried all he felt was pain and weakness. They must have had them weakened somewhere their smell wouldn't come into the air which meant underground. Sighing he tried to traceback hie steps from where he had their scent. He was currently in an area full of abandoned buildings.
"I know they are around here somewhere but where." He said to himself as he got to the top of a roof trying to see if he couldn't find any hunters nearby.
That's when he saw them, Scott and Isaac had found their way to this neighborhood which meant they had figured out where the two betas were. He smirked and now jumped down and started to follow the two boys.
The sun was going down now as they were walking around the are looking for the abandoned sewage junction building, that's where the hunter said they were holding his friends. Scott and Isaac finally found their way there and now were looking at the outside of the building, they didn't see any hunters but knew there must be at least 2 to 4 inside. That when Peter came up behind them, but Scott was ready and as he came up from behind them Scott immediately went to attack him but stopped seeing Peter.
"I thought you were a hunter." Scott said with a sigh of relief.
"I'm glad I trained you so well." Peter said with a smirk.
"Yeah same here. That doesn't mean I'm getting back with you, but I don't know how man hunters are in there.
"They are in there?" Peter asked him.
"Yes, in the basement, they are tied to a metal grated wall." Scott told Peter who nodded.
"I'll go in first, to get the estimated number and you guys come in after I distracted them. Get Boyd and Erica out. If I don't come out in 10-15 minutes leave me." Peter told his former pack members.
Scott and Isaac watched as Peter entered the junction station and heard screams but as they did, they went in and both with stealth and precision entered the junction building. As they got in, they using their keen sense found their way downstairs and wen right towards the smell of burn flesh and blood. Boyd and Erica heard the boys coming towards them and so did the two hunters who were guarding them.
Isaac and Scott now stood outside the door and opening had guns pointed at them by the two guards. Looking at the guard then at each other they moved quickly with Isaac moving in on the one on his left and Scott the right. In unison they moved at the exact same time closing the distance and disarmed and smash the guards face into walls knocking them unconscious.
"We are here for you." Scott told Boyd and Erica.
