I personally did not like the way I wrapped up my last chapter. So yes I did delete it and this is the remake :) Sorry for any inconvenience or anything :(
Audrey's P.O.V
I run. And I don't look back. How can I? Coming deeper into the forest,my pink dress becomes stained by wet grass and mud. After a while of running and a mix of choking and crying, I arrive at my destination. Fairy Cottage. The rain pounds on my hair,as I stare at the small cottage in front of me. I'm half expecting mother to emerge and hug me tightly, brush my hair put my face and tell me everything's gonna work out. Like she did when I was little,and still small enough to be given piggy backs. But those days are way over. So instead I walk towards it and open the door,and make my way in side.
It's warm. Not warm like 'Boiling' warm. Warm as in 'Cosy' warm. When I step inside,the fire is on and is crackling and spitting. Taking off my cardigan, I toss it across the room and sit on the sofa near the fire. Pulling the wooly blanket over me,I snuggle into it and stare as the fire spat at me. I don't blame it. I did a horrible thing. I turn my attention to the shelves and let out a choked cry. A picture of me and Ben when we were kids. When life was simple. When I felt as if I had a future... I don't know how long I've zoned put for,but it's been a while. Suddenly,a noise breaks my spell. A knock at the door. Rising up from my spot on the couch,I make my way towards the door and open it. And there he stands. Muscular with soaking wet raven hair and guyliner dripping down his face which was slightly pale.
"Do you mind if I come in,lass?" He asks me. And I can't exactly say no,can I?
