Mia's POV

You have a long shower, washing several day's dirt off you. You feel so much better when you get out, but you are exhausted. Your HG has lessened, and you now only have some days when you feel like death but for most of the time, you're ok now.

You look up as Nat comes back in, followed by an excited Wanda. 'Ok Amelia Lang let's get you all beautified! I picked out this dress for you, purple really is your colour. It's a maternity dress so your bump will look beautiful. Oh, and I picked out some shoes for you too. What do you think?' She shows you a floaty, knee length lavender summer dress and some matching wedge heels.

'Oh, Nat it's so cute! Thank you, I can always trust you to find the good dresses! And I love the shoes too. You may need to help me put them on though, I can't quite bend down anymore. I still don't believe I'm only 16 weeks, and with only one!' You all start laughing, and Nat gets started on your nails while Wanda gets to work drying your hair. 'Oh, now I see why you went for the purple dress, it matches the nail polish. Wanda, can I get some ginger ale please? Bucky dropped some off just after I got out the shower just in case. I'm nervous and I don't know why.' Wanda brings over your drink and helps you drink it because you can't use your hands right now.

6 o clock rolls around and you are ready. Nat has done your nails, then moved onto you makeup. She's given you a smoky eye but not too much. Wanda has put your hair in rolling waves with the top layer pinned back and some face framing tendrils coming down. You walk downstairs to meet Bucky. He is dressed very smartly as well.

'Wow doll, you look amazing! That dress looks beautiful, well done Romanoff.' Bucky takes your hand and pulls you close to him to kiss you gently. 'You ready sweetheart?' You nod happily. 'Then let's go!' He grabs a basket filled with food and you both wave at Steve and Nat. 'I was thinking we can set up at the table at the end of the garden.? It never gets used and the view there is so gorgeous. Then again, my view already is. My girl and my boy.'

'Oh my God James we're having a girl, I told you, I can feel it. But other than that, you're too sweet.' You get down to the table Bucky mentioned and sit down as he sets out a beautiful picnic. Sandwiches, crackers, cheese, ginger ale for you, everything you could expect a full picnic to have. 'Wow James this looks amazing. How did you find the time to do all this? I barely had time to get ready and I knew we were just coming down here.' You smile at him and realise you can't stop smiling. 'Fuck it, James, I love you with all my heart and I don't care how we got together or what's happened in the past, I intend for you to be my last love. Just thought I had to say that that's all.' You say happily.

'Oh, doll I feel the same way. There's plenty of time for us, not enough time to get our baby fed! Dig in. I slaved hard over an open refrigerator to make this dinner!' Bucky says with a laugh. You both start eating and talking about different things. Before you know it, two hours has gone by.

You finish eating and talking. 'James, can we go back now please? I'm getting kinda tired and wanna get all this' you point to your face and dress 'off.' He nods and starts to pack up the leftover food. 'We can have the rest another day.' You start walking back down towards the compound and see the lights are all off. There is what looks like candlelight and you can hear your favourite song playing. 'What is this? James? Did you do this?'

'I wanted to surprise you with something special. You've been so sick lately and thought you deserved to be treated like a princess. Come on.' He puts the basket down and grabs your hand. 'Dance with me.' You start dancing and smile up at him happily.

'Oh James, you are too perfect.' You start to tear up when Bucky pulls a box of tissues off the cabinet next to you.

'Mia, I have something to say to you. Its related to our conversation earlier. I love you with all my heart. We both know I've done awful things in my past and you love me regardless. The moment you first kissed me I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my long life with you. I mean, at over 100 years old I should probably settle down right? And then we found out we were gonna be parents, I was so happy. You may not be feeling too good all the time, but I know that you'll be the best mom to our child. You are kind, patient, caring, funny, just the most loving person I have ever met, and I have one question to ask you.' He pulls out a box from his pocket and gets down on one knee. 'Amelia Kathryn Lang. Will you do me the incredible honour of becoming my wife? Will you marry me?'

You look at him through tears of happiness. 'Yes, James I will marry you!' You hold out your hand and he puts the ring on then stands up to wraps his arms around you and kisses you deeply. You hear cheers coming from the next room. Nat and Wanda come running in to group hug you and squeal in celebration, followed by everyone else in the compound. 'Oh my God guys you knew about this! Is that why you wanted to make sure my nails were done? Nat!' You can't stop smiling and crying.

'Yes, they knew doll, everyone knew but you. Even Spidey, I'm surprised you didn't hear it from him!' Bucky answers you before laughing at Peters 'offended' face.

Scott comes up to you to hug you. 'Congrats little sister! You're with a great guy, he loves you so much.' He leans in to whisper to you. 'And he asked for my permission to marry you, I obviously approve of him.' You hug him tight and smile at your big brother and how far he has come.

'Congratulations kid, I'm really happy for you. Just wanna let you guys know I'm ordained so... Just saying.' Tony says to you laughing. 'Ok guys bedtime now, first mission tomorrow! Goodnight all, congratulations again Mia.'

You all head to bed, you snuggle up to your new fiancé staring at your ring. 'Goodnight future Mrs Barnes. I love you.' Bucky says before kissing you softly and closing his eyes.

'Goodnight my love.' You both fall asleep in each other's arms and sleep soundly.
