Author's Note: This is a one-shot from my 'I'm Fine' universe. While I'm Fine takes place when Hary is older, there is a reference to when Harry was little and hated shots. This is a story elaborating on one instance of that.

In the I'm Fine universe, Remus and Sirius are married and were able to save Harry from the Dursleys when Harry was around 4. Sirius is a History of Magic professor and Remus teaches 1st-year History of Magic along with being Hogwarts' therapist.

I hope you enjoy it!

Today Harry was getting his checkup from Aunt Poppy. He really didn't want to go. However, Moony Da (Remus) and Dadfoot (Sirius) had said that if he was brave he would be able to go flying after. Plus, they told him he was going to get a treat, and instead, they led him to the infirmary. Harry was not impressed.

"Harry, dear! I'm glad to see you!" Poppy smiled at the 6-year-old as he apprehensively walked in with his two guardians.

Harry eyed the witch warily.

Remus nudged Harry and leaned down to whisper in his ear. "Harry, say hello to Aunt Poppy. Be polite, please."

"Hi, Aunt Poppy," Harry said, tightly clinging to Prongs, his stuffed stag.

"Now, you're here for your 12-year-old checkup, correct?" Poppy asked, looking at Harry from head to toe.

Harry laughed. "No, Aunt Poppy! I'm six, silly!"

"Oh my, I must've forgotten. You've gotten so big!"

"Dadfoot says I've grown like a weed! And Moony Da says that if I grow a little bit bigger I'll be able to sit without a booster at meals!" Harry said excitedly, forgetting his nerves.

"Goodness! I can hardly believe it." Poppy says putting a hand to her chest.

"Yeah. I'm real big now. I even go to school."

"So I've heard." Poppy commented with a smile.

"They are muggles, but we still do lots of fun things."

"Well let's see if you've learned anything. I bet you can't find bed number twelve..." Poppy said.

"Sure I can!" Harry said. He let go of Sirius' hand and ran along the beds. He looked at the number above the beds and on the foot of them. "18, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12! I found it! I found it, Aunt Poppy!" Harry said, jumping up and down and pointing.

Poppy smiled at the child. "You did! Magnificent! You must be learning a lot in school."

"I am. Moony Da is really proud. He says one day I might be smarter than him!"

"What about me?" Sirius asks in mock hurt.

"Moony Da says I'm smarter than you already, Dadfoot," Harry says with a smile.

"Oh, you little," Sirius says. He reaches out and grabs Harry, tickling him.

"Dadfoot! Dadfoot! Put me down!" Harry cried in between laughs.

"What's the magic word?" Sirius asked.

"Dadfoot is the handsome-ist dad ever!" Harry laughed.

"Alright then," Sirius said, setting Harry down on the bed.

"Really, Mister Black?" Poppy said with a raised eyebrow.

"it got him on the bed, didn't it?" Sirius said quietly to Poppy as Remus distracted Harry.

Poppy shrugged and nodded. She had to give him that.

"Now, Harry. I know you've said that you've grown. Can I measure you to see how much bigger you are than last year?"

"Okay," Harry said, holding into Prongs a bit tighter.

"It won't hurt a bit. Just lie back for me." Poppy said kindly.

Remus helped Harry swing his feet onto the bed and lie back.

Harry looked at Remus nervously once his head was on the pillow. "You're alright, Cub. You can even close your eyes. Dadfoot and I are right here."

Harry gave a small nod and squeezed his eyes shut. He felt Remus gently stroking his arm. "Deep breaths, Cub."

Harry listened to Remus. He heard Poppy's quill take some notes as the mediwitch muttered some things.

"Alright Harry, you can sit up now. You're being really brave."

"Now I'm going to use a stethoscope on you to listen to your heart and lungs. You remember this, right?" Poppy asked, showing Harry the metal object.

Harry furrowed his brows. He wasn't sure about this.

Poppy sensed Harry's reluctance and said, "Why don't I try this out on your dad first, hm?"

Harry looked at Sirius for permission and Sirius nodded.

"Okay," Harry replied.

Poppy put the stethoscope in her ears and then put the flat part to Sirius' chest. She listened for a moment before taking it out and saying, "All good!"

"It didn't hurt a bit!" Sirius reassured Harry.

Harry still wasn't sure.

"Do you want to try it on your stuffie, first?" Poppy asked, holding it out for him.

"Will it hurt him?" Harry asked, not wanting any harm to come to his precious stuffed animal.

"Not a bit." Poppy reassured him.

Harry slowly took the stethoscope from her hands. He tried to get it in his ears, but Remus had to help him. Harry then put it on Prongs' chest and gasped. "There's a heartbeat!"

Poppy and Sirius didn't even have to say anything because they saw Remus' warm and knowing smile behind Harry and knew that it was him controlling it. Harry listened for a moment longer before taking it off.

"That didn't even hurt a bit!" Sirius said in a high-pitched voice, talking for Prongs.

"Dadfoot!" Harry laughed.

"What?" Sirius asked.

"Prongsy doesn't sound like that!" Harry giggled.

"Then what does he sound like?" Sirius asked, putting his hands on his hips.

"That didn't hurt a bit," Harry said in a very low voice.

Poppy chuckled and placed the stethoscope on Harry's back. Harry stiffened, once again clutching Prongs tightly.

"You're okay, Cub," Remus said gently, stroking Harry's arm.

"Deep breaths," Poppy instructed.

Harry did as she said and was rather relieved when she was done.

"Now, Harry, I'm going to look at your eyes, ears, nose, and mouth with a light on my wand, okay?"

Harry nodded confidently. He knew this. He'd seen Moony Da and Dadfoot light their wands up before. One time, Dadfoot even let him try Lumos and he could do it!

Harry waited until the mediwitch was done, listening to her commands. He felt confident about this.

When her wand became something that looked like a hammer, however, Harry stiffened again. He whimpered and pulled his knees to his chest. He grabbed Remus' arm and tried to hide behind him.

Poppy noticed Harry's reaction. She shook her wand and it went back to its usual state. She set it down and bent down in front of Harry, but Remus and Sirius were already tending to him. Remus was on one side and Sirius was on the other.

"Harry, you're safe. You're safe, Harry." Remus said gently.

"You're okay, Puppy. Dadfoot and Moony Da are here." Sirius said, putting his hand on Harry's back.

"Take some breaths with me, Harry," Remus said.

Sirius helped Harry lean against Remus. "In and out," Remus instructed.

Harry felt Remus' chest rise and fall and eventually, his breathing went in the same pattern. After a minute of breathing with Remus, Sirius helped him sit up a little.

"What happened, Pup?" Sirius said, concern and love evident in his eyes.

"The- the hammer. I don't want to be hit. I'll be good! I promise!" Harry cried.

Remus reached his arms around Harry and held him close, helping regulate his breathing. Once Remus got Harry breathing normally again, he began to speak, still holding him tight. "That's not a real hammer, Harry. That is a rubber one."

Remus nodded at Poppy whose wand once again turned into the tool.

"It does not hurt you. It checks your reflexes. Your reflexes are things that help show us that you're alive. This is a tool for healers. It is safe." Remus said softly.

Harry listened to Remus' words. He felt the low rumble of Remus' voice through the vibrations from his chest. It made him feel safe.

Poppy set the tool down. "Touch it. You can see that it is safe."

Harry looked at it for a while.

"Go on, Pup." Sirius encouraged gently.

Harry reached out and quickly touched the hammer. It didn't seem hard. Harry touched it again, this time lingering longer. It didn't feel like a real hammer. Harry knew what those felt like. He had to use them at the Dursleys and one time Uncle Vernon had used one on him.

"Can you put your hand out so you can feel what I'll do to your knees?" Poppy asked, grabbing the hammer when Harry was done with it.

Slowly Harry put on his hand. Poppy gently grabbed it and then softly tapped Harry's hand with the hammer.

"How does that feel?" She asked.

"It's okay," Harry admitted.

"When you're ready can you sit up so I can check this by your knees? You can even watch your dad get it done first." Poppy said.

Remus helped Harry sit up, but stayed behind him. Harry watched as Poppy brought the hammer to around Sirius' knees. Sirius' knees shot out.

"Oh, I kind of remember this now," Harry said.

"Oh, that's wonderful!" Poppy said, turning her attention back on him. "Do you think I can try it on you?"

Harry nodded. He braced himself for the worst when she brought the hammer to his knee, but it didn't hurt. Harry's knee flew up and Poppy smiled at him. "Good!" She repeated it on the other one.

Poppy then wanted Harry to walk around and show her things he could do like bending, skipping, and jumping. Then, she brought him back to the bed. "Harry, I want you to lie back so I can feel around, okay? It's just my hands."

Harry wasn't sure but a nod from Sirius had Harry slowly leaning back.

Remus went over to Poppy and whispered, "Just feel around. I'll do more later. He's been through so much that I can't bear to traumatize him anymore. Just like last year, I'll do the more invasive checks if that's okay."

Poppy gave Remus a sad smile. She hated what those muggles did to this boy. "Of course, Remus. Thank you." She said, patting him on the cheek.

"I'm going to pat your tummy first, okay?" Poppy asked.

"Okay," Harry squeaked, squeezing his eyes shut. He had Prongs tightly in one hand and Sirius slipped his hand in the other one, which Harry squeezed gratefully.

Poppy felt around and made some notes before having Harry sit up again. She asked him questions about it he wore a helmet when he rode a bike and flew and about the fruits and vegetables he ate. She asked him a few more questions before turning to Sirius and Remus and said, "He seems rather healthy to me. I'm going to do a diagnostic check to make sure I didn't miss anything while I grab some things to finish up." She said rather pointedly.

Sirius and Remus knew exactly what that meant.

Poppy said a spell and then wandered off as a quill took notes on a piece of parchment.

"You've done so well, Cub!" Remus praised, slowly positioning himself behind Harry.

"Yes, so brave!" Sirius said, getting on Harry's left side as he was still holding Prongs with his right.

"Brave enough to fly later?" Harry asked hopefully.

"Aunt Poppy's going to finish up and if you're still brave then you can fly," Sirius said.

"What else does she have to do?" Harry asked.

Just then, Poppy came back with a metal tray. Unfortunately, she had forgotten to cover it. Harry craned his neck to look at what was on the tray and saw two pointy things.

Oh no. Absolutely not. He remembered these.

"No! Not shots! No! No! NO!" Harry cried, trying to get up. However, Remus and Sirius held fast.

"Harry, it's just a small pinch and then you get to go flying," Sirius said, trying to calm the boy down.

"I don't want it! I DON'T WANT IT! NO!" Harry shouted.

Before Remus or Sirius could say or do anything, Harry let out a cry and used everything he had to get away. Unbeknownst to him, he sent a decent stinging hex to his parents. What he did know, however, was that the hands that were holding him there were off of them. So, Harry did the only thing he could think of. Run. Harry ran as fast as his little legs would carry him. He ran and ran and ran.

Finally, after what seemed like forever, Harry stopped. He found a quiet hallway with a rather large closet. Harry walked in and sat down.

"You and me, Prongsy. We'll be safe here." Harry said to the stuffed animal.

"Hm, bigger than our cupboard," Harry commented, looking around.

Meanwhile, Sirius and Remus were in shock that Harry's accidental magic reacted so strongly.

"Harry! Harry stop!" Sirius said, trying to catch up with him. However, Harry had disappeared out of sight.

"Shit," Sirius said, running his hand through his hair.

"You were shocked too, right?" Remus asked.

"Yeah. Who knew the kid could do that?" Sirius commented.

Remus shrugged and looked around as if he would see Harry.

"You check the map," Sirius told Remus. "I see Albus walking our way, I'll talk to him."

Remus nodded and hurried away to their quarters where the Marauder Map was.

"How is our patient doing?" Albus asked with a smile as he walked towards Sirius. He knew Harry had his check-up today and wanted to see how it was going

"He's escaped," Sirius said.

"Oh boy. Where did he get to?" Albus asked.

"He ran in that direction," Sirius said, pointing.

"I'll see if I can find him," Albus said, heading off in that direction.

While Remus was checking the map and Albus was looking, Harry was sitting rather contently in the large closet.

Harry played with Prongs on the floor when he all of a sudden heard voices.

"Let's try there," a voice said.

Harry stiffened and picked up Prongs, holding him close.

The door opened and two fifth years came in.

"Harry?" A Ravenclaw girl asked. "What are you doing here?"

"Hiding," Harry whispered.

"From what?" The boy asked. He was in Slytherin.

"Nutin'" Harry said, sticking his lower lip out. "Why are you here?" Harry asked.

"We were, uh here to-" The girl began.

"Study!" The boy filled in, rather proud of himself.

Harry nodded. It seemed like a good closet to study in.

Just then, there were footsteps approaching.

"Hide me! I'll make sure my dad gives you extra points." Harry said, getting behind them.

The Ravenclaw and Slytherin stood in front of Harry, shielding him.

Then, a man with long greasy hair entered the dungeons. "What do we have here?" He drawled.

"Uh, nothing, Sir. We were just studying." The girl replied.

"And where are your books?" Snape asked.

"We're practicing conjuring them." She replied again.

"I see. And what is behind you?"

"Nothing, Sir!" The girl said.

Snape stepped forward. "Whatever may have been promised to you, forget it. I will give you one more chance to come clean, or I will keep you in detention for the rest of the year."

"Sorry, Harry," the boy and girl whispered stepping aside.

Harry was crouched down, clutching Prongs tightly. He looked up and gasped. It was the bat man! Harry quickly ran out of the closet. The bat man scared him!

"Stop, Potter! Stop!" The man shouted.

Harry ran faster and faster until he collided with a leg. He looked up and saw his grandfather. He immediately threw himself behind the old man, trying to hide.

"Potter!" Severus said again, catching up to him.

"Professor Snape, what is the matter?" Dumbledore asked, putting his arm around Harry protectively.

"I caught him in a closet. Two students were trying to hide him."

"Was he doing something wrong?" Albus questioned.

"No, but he didn't stop when I asked him to. He just ran away!"

"Severus, the boy is six years old," Albus stated.

"He should listen to his elders!" Severus protested.

"And he does when he's not frightened," Albus responded, feeling protective of Harry. Albus reached down and picked Harry up.

"We will discuss this later alright? I have something I need to do." Albus told him before turning and walking away, leaving an irritated potions professor.

Harry clung tightly to Dumbledore's neck, pushing Prongs against his chest.

"Are you okay, Harry?" Dumbledore asked quietly.

"Yes, Granda," Harry replied quietly.

"Is there anything you wish to tell me?" Albus asked.

"No, Granda," Harry replied quietly again.

Dumbledore could tell that Harry did not want to talk and was okay with it. He carried the boy back until Harry realized where they were going.

"Granda, where are we going?"

Dumbledore wasn't sure what he should say but before he could think of a suitable answer, Harry started shouting. "No! Granda, no! NO! NO!" Harry started to wiggle and protest the hold his grandfather had on him. He started to kick and his magic lashed out again, stinging Dumbledore. Dumbledore set Harry down in release to that but Harry got away. Unfortunately for the six-year-old, he ran right into another man who scooped him up. Harry looked up at his captor with large eyes.

It was Dadfoot.

"Dadfoot no! Let me go! No! No! NO!" Harry said, kicking against his hold.

Sirius was ready for that this time.

Remus was with Sirius because by the time that he had gotten to the map, he had seen that Snape was near Harry and Dumbledore was heading in their direction. He brought it with him, just in case, but stayed by Sirius.

"I'm sorry, Pup, but this isn't a choice," Sirius said kindly, but firmly.

"I don't wanna! I don't wanna!" Harry cried, kicking against Sirius and banging his fists.

Harry's breathing became faster and tears started to run down his face.

Sirius couldn't tell that Harry was panicking and kept walking to the hospital wing, carrying his inconsolable son through the halls.

Remus, however, had noticed a difference between the pouting and what Harry was beginning to do.

"Cub, you're okay. You're safe." Remus reminded him gently.

Harry didn't reply, his breathing only quickened.

"Sirius, we need to put him down and wait a moment," Remus told his husband as they entered the hospital wing.

"Remus, he needs to get these vaccinations. He can't learn that tantrums are the way to get away with things." Sirius said, heading to the bed they were at before.

"No, Sirius, he's having a panic attack."

This sobered Sirus up. He quickly went to the bed and set him down. "Harry, Pup, can you hear me?" Sirius asked gently, putting his hands on Harry's arms.

Harry didn't reply.

"Shoot," Sirius said.

Remus was already getting behind Harry; he wrapped his arms around Harry's arms and torso and wrapped his legs around Harry's shorter ones. "Breathe, little one. Breathe with me. You're safe. Harry. Moony Da is here. Dadfoot is here. You are safe. You are loved."

Dumbledore closed the doors of the infirmary and put a locking charm on them. If someone needed to come in they could, but it didn't allow anyone to leave. He also went to talk to Poppy about what was going on (she was in her office).

Sirius was in front of Harry, softly rubbing his arm.

Eventually, Harry registered Remus' voice. "Da?" He whispered, his eyes still glazed over.

"Yes, it's Moony Da. Moony Da is here. Dadfoot is here. You are safe. We love you. We are here. Take some deep breaths with me," Remus instructed.

Harry felt the rise and fall of Remus' chest and slowly started to follow along with the breathing pattern.

When he finally came to, Harry started to cry. "I'm sorry!"

"Cub, you're okay. You don't need to apologize for being afraid." Remus soothed home, rubbing his back.

Harry cried for a minute or two before seeing Poppy and Dumbledore in front of him.

"No! No!" He cried, scootching back.

"Harry, my dear, look at me. I don't have any needles in my hands. I just want to give you a sucker," Poppy says, holding it out.

Harry quieted, looking at it with distrust.

"It won't hurt you, I promise." Poppy said.

"Do I still get a lolli after, too?" Harry asked.

"Certainly," Poppy smiled.

Harry took the lollipop out of her hand and put it in his mouth. This one was cherry-flavored.

After a moment of sucking on the lollipop, Harry felt himself being to calm down.

Poppy had doused it with a calming drought, but Harry didn't know that.

Poppy had given Sirius and Remus a pointed look and mouthed the words to them, obtaining their permission, before giving it to him.

After about half the lollipop was gone, Remus left Harry on the bed and moved away from him with the rest of the adults, yet still keeping an eye on him.

"So the stinging during his appointments are new," Sirius commented the first one to speak.

"I'm hoping the calming draught will prevent that, but I don't think he'll be happy with them." Poppy commented, wringing her hands.

"Thank you for thinking of that. I don't want him to have a calming draught every time he is scared, but he obviously needed one right now." Remus said, worried for his son.

"No child likes needles, Remus. It's okay," Poppy reassured him.

"How can I help?" asked Dumbledore.

"I'll be giving him a shot in each arm. Someone has to be behind him and in front of him." Poppy spoke out loud.

"Albus, can you hold his legs down? Remus can be behind him and I'll be in front of him." Sirius decided.

"Of course," Dumbledore said.

The adults exchanged a few more sentences before making their way back to the six-year-old who was much more subdued than before.

"I like that lollipop," Harry said, smiling.

"I'm glad, Cub. We can have another one when Aunt Poppy is all finished, okay?" Remus said, smiling.

"Okay." Harry shrugged.

"Okay Harry, I'm just going to take a look at your scar, okay Honey?" Poppy asked. She didn't want to go right into the shots right now.

Harry nodded. Poppy gently moved Harry's fringe aside and waved her wand by his scar.

"Hmm, this can't be right." She muttered.

Remus and Sirius exchanged worried looks.

"Ah, Poppy, it's just residual magic from the curse. No need to worry," Albus supplied.

Poppy turned to the headmaster and wanted to argue, but saw his face and nodded. "If you say so," she said, clearly unconvinced.

Poppy did a few more things with Harry before once again giving Sirius and Remus a look and walking away.

Remus slowly positioned himself behind Harry and Sirius got in front of the child, as did Albus.

"Harry, we need you to be really brave for the next part, okay?" Sirius said slowly.

"What's the- no! No!" Harry cried, holding Prongs tightly.

"Harry, these are to make sure you don't get sick. We want you to stay healthy." Dumbledore explained.

"I don' care! No!" Harry pouted, starting to fight again.

"Harry, don't you want to go flying later?" Sirius tried.

That didn't even work. Harry didn't want this shot at all.

"Harry, you need to listen to me," Remus said sternly. This was Remus' alpha voice. He rarely ever used this voice. He made sure it was still warm and kind, but it demanded attention and respect.

Harry couldn't even think of any other time Remus used that voice. It took him off guard and his cries and struggles turned into whimpers.

"Harry, this is to keep you safe and healthy. You are allowed to be scared, mad, upset, and afraid. You can feel all those feelings. Right now, we need to keep you safe. Can you try not to fight against us?"

"Moony Da!" Harry cried hoarsely as he saw a glimpse of the metal tray.

"You're safe, Harry. Close your eyes." Remus instructed.

Harry did as he was told.

"Breathe with me, Bub. You're safe." Remus reminded him. Remus took deep breaths, hoping Harry would follow along.

Harry tried to breathe with his father, but he was scared. Harry took quick breaths, obviously afraid. He kept his eyes squeezed shut and tried to listen to the kind words of his parents. He was still thrashing, but not nearly as much as before.

"I'm just cleaning your arm," Poppy said.

Harry felt his sleeve lift and something cold make his way on his skin. He whimpered and tried to scootch away but to no avail.

"Just a pinch," Poppy said gently.

Harry cried out and thrashed as he felt the needle. Luckily, there were no stinging hexes involved this time.

Harry cried loudly as she finished and said, "One more."

The same reaction was met with the other shot.

"All done, Harry," Poppy said, quickly removing all traces of the vaccinations.

Harry didn't even hear her through the cries.

"Why is he still crying, it's over?" Snape said, walking into the infirmary.

Sirius bit his tongue and focused on Harry.

Remus had once again wrapped his whole body around Harry. He let Sirius talk to him as he focused on breathing deeply. However, Remus still replied to Severus. He couldn't stay quiet about this.

"He was so scared. Just because something is done doesn't mean the emotions go away. He had such big feelings about this and they are still there. In addition, he's six. When anyone, especially a young child, has a fear like this, their emotions and brains aren't rational."

Remus then turned his attention to his son. "You're safe, Harry. You are with Moony Da and Dadfoot. Following my breathing." Remus' voice was low and soothing. Harry felt the rumble from his chest and heard his heart beating.

Harry followed the instructions from Remus, coming back to reality. When he finally peeked open a red and puffy eye, a lollipop was waiting in his aunt's hand.

Harry took the lollipop and stuck it in his mouth, again shutting his eyes. Remus stayed behind Harry, making sure he was calming down.

Albus, Poppy, and Severus were talking in the corner and Sirius went to get Minerva.

"You did well, Cub. I'm proud of you." Remus told Harry quietly.

"It hurt real bad." Harry pouted.

"I'm sorry it hurt. That is no fun. I'm glad you are going to be healthy now." Remus said, making sure he was using short sentences with Harry so he would understand in his overwhelmed state.

"I like the lollipops," Harry stated, closing his eyes again.

By the time Harry was done with his lollipop, he was much more calmed down (thank you, magic), but still not impressed with the adults who tortured him so. Harry kept his eyes closed, mostly to not have to look at any of the mean grown-ups.

"Is that my brave little lion?" A voice asked from the doors.

Harry opened his eyes quickly. "Grandma Min!" He said gleefully. He wanted to greet her, but Remus kept him on the bed.

"You are not running anywhere right now. Your body is still working things out," Remus reminded him.

Harry huffed but smiled at his grandmother.

"I heard these adults made you get your checkup," Minerva commented, walking to Harry.

"Yeah, they're so mean. I'm really sad right now." Harry commented.

Remus was both impressed and sad at that comment. They've been working with Harry for a long time on stating his emotions and telling people how he feels. Remus was very impressed that Harry not only stated how he was feeling but said a negative emotion, too. Those are always the hardest for Harry because he fears punishment (bloody Dursleys). Remus was sad because he knew he caused Harry to feel this way (even though it had to happen).

"Well, Lion, I think I can take you away from these grown-ups if you want to," Minerva offered.

"Really, Grandma Min?" Harry asked, sitting up.

Minerva nodded.

"Can we go flying?"

"Uh, not right now, maybe tomorrow? I was thinking you'd like to sit in a class with me and then we can play some games."

"Yes!" Harry said, finally smiling. He started to get up but was met with a look from his dad and his grandmother clearing her throat.

"I think you need to ask some people first," Minerva advised.

Harry sighed and turned to look at both his dads. "Can I please go with Grandma Min?"

They both nodded. "We love you, Harry," they said.

"Love you too," Harry mumbled, clearly still mad at them.

"Harry James," Minerva warned, putting her hands on her hips.

"I love you too," Harry said again, this time looking at them. He gave them both hugs and they kissed his head.

Then, Harry went up to Minerva who wiped his face and then took his hand.

"Minerva, if Harry is showing any side effects, please bring him back here. He'll also be rather tired, alright?" Poppy called out to her friend.

"Alright, thank you, Poppy," Minerva said.

"C'mon Grandma Min! Let's go!" Harry said, eager to get away from this place.

Sirius and Remus shook their heads at the sight.

Minerva listened as Harry chattered on and on about everything they could do together. In the end, Harry fell asleep about thirty minutes into her class. Minerva smiled at the sight and sent a Patronus to her two former students who gladly picked Harry up and tucked him in.

Harry awoke before dinner, all previous anger forgotten.

Remus and Sirius knew that there were conversations to be had with Harry about running away, his accidental magic, and why vaccinations are important. For the moment, however, they held him close and loved him. He may be a handful at times but he was their handful and they wouldn't want it any other way.

This was written in March of 2022, two years after the COVID-19 Pandemic began. I hope you are vaccinated. If you have any questions, please reach out and I'm happy to answer them.

I used to hate needles just as much as little Harry here. They may be scary, but they can save a life. Yay, science!
