Chapter 07-Friend or Foe?
Hermione was timid in the room. The twins were eyeing her with respect close to the door, Harry was seated in a chair by the fire looking at Hermione worriedly, on the love seat Ginny and Ron sat glaring at the blond. "So how did you do that," George started.
"to Mrs. Black," Fred Finished.
Hermione smiled looking at them. She felt no change to her from the two. "I have no idea," Hermione said "It's almost like accidental magic but I can control it. I'm getting more control over it, but I can feel my magic now more so then before. I can even feel your magic and magic from objects. It's very enlightening."
"Wicked," the twins said in unison.
"It is wicked but not a good one she is obviously turning dark," Ron chimed in.
"Really Ron," Hermione said, "After all these years and you still are a bigot."
"He is not," Ginny yelled "He has every right to think the way he thinks. You look like a scumbag Malfoy. Why should we trust you?"
"Jealousy doesn't suit you, Ginny," Hermione confronted the red head "He has no right to think I will change just because my magic has changed or my appearance. He should know that I am the same person as ever. He should trust his girlfriend whom he has confessed to love."
"I will not listen to this," Ron shot up "You are not my girlfriend anymore."
Then he stormed out of the room. "You should stay away from us," Ginny sneered "Come on Harry."
They also followed Ron out of the room. Leaving the twins and Hermione alone. Tears threatened to leave her eyes and the twins came to the rescue. "They are both jealous," George said.
"Ron thinks your too pretty and so does Ginny," Fred said, "We have a few products we can use on them."
Hermione laughed and the three of them stayed huddled together talking about her magic and their new products. Hermione learned that they plan to open a shop on Diagon Alley. They stayed that way for a while asking Hermione for viewpoint. Asking her opinion about place, rent, and negotiation. Hermione was shocked they asked her. Normally they left her out of it because she was always a rule stickler but in their talks since the fiasco at the ministry, they found out she was an unexpected ally. Hermione just didn't like the testing products on kids, but the twins had convinced her that they weren't using anything on the kids that they hadn't used on themselves before the kids.
It was lunch time before they left the library and head to the kitchen. As they walked into the kitchen, they all heard Ginny, "I don't want to room with her."
"We don't have the room in this house to change rooms," Mrs. Weasley said.
"Mum, she's not the same," Ginny whined "She is different. Harry and Ron will tell you."
"Its true mum," Ron said "She isn't my girlfriend anymore. She isn't the same person."
Hermione watched as Mrs. Weasley was pressured into a corner. Sirius spoke up first, "Molly let Hermione move into my brother's room. We can clean it up and it is obvious the kids are having issues adjusting. Maybe some space will help them figure everything out."
"Alright," Molly caved.
Ginny squealed and hugged Sirius then her mother. Hermione couldn't handle it. She felt like everything was changing. She ran up the stairs grabbed her trunk and went to the room labeled R. A. B. on the door. Hermione noticed the room was super dusty and mildew smelling. Hermione's magic started whirling and soon the room was cleaner than it had been that decade. Hermione decided that since they didn't want anything to do with her, she would stay up here. She would wait till they came to check the room then she would disappear into her mother's trunk it was about time she investigated all there was in it.
