A Letter From Rafael

"That is so cool, Lisa," Gaby exclaimed. "I wish I had someone in my life like you have Rafael in yours!"

Casey gave Lisa an extra Ghostwriter team pen to take back to Willow Creek with her for Rafael.

Lisa looked at Rob who was glancing at Gaby from where he seated at the table.

"You already have someone like Rafael, Gabster," Lisa said. "you have Rob."

"That's right, Gaby," Rob said shyly. "I've been crazy about you ever since you gave me the message to stay out of subway tunnels."

"That's right! You were trapped in a tunnel with Lisa Norburt, the daughter of your friend, Double T! You told me about that mishap in one of your letters!" Lisa said to Rob.

"I never forgot about that event." Rob said to Lisa.

Stevie checked her wristwatch.

"Oh my gosh! Phil, Lisa," Stevie exclaimed. "we need to get back to the Steadmore! Max will freak out if we miss lunch!"

"Not a problem, Stevie," Lisa said. "you, Phil, and I will just join hands, my crystal will do the rest."

The Ghostwriter team watched on as Phil, Lisa, and Stevie joined hands, then were teleported back to the Steadmore by means of Lisa's crystal.

Lisa, Stevie, and Phil got back to the Steadmore just in time for lunch.

The threesome found the rest of their group outside the hotel's restaurant.

When they were seated, Melanie handed an envelope to Lisa.

"Oh, Lisa! Before I forget," Melanie said. "this letter came in the mail for you today."

Lisa tore open the envelope.

"It's from Rafael!" Lisa exclaimed.

Everyone except for Veronica crowded around Lisa.

"What does Rafael say in his letter, Lisa?" Jess asked, she was curious.

Lisa read the letter out loud.

Lisa: Dear Lisa,

I really miss you.

I keep counting the hours till we're together again.

Everything is pretty normal here, well except for one thing, Mom has been feuding with Aunt Cleo again, but that's just their usual fight over the new costume designs.

I hope they compromise soon, I'm beginning to miss Aunt Cleo's coconut cream pies!

Yours forever,

Rafael.

"Oh, wow, Lisa," Simon exclaimed. "that is so totally romantic!"

Lisa put her letter away temporarily in her pocket.
