Chapter 10: Meeting Nephrite

Nami stared at the celling… she still couldn't believe she was in on this. She was used to sitting on the sidelines… but not fully participating in it.

She sighed.

Usagi came into the room.

"Are you okay?" she asked.

"I don't know how to feel about this." Said Nami.

"I don't either." Said Usagi, "I through you were just normal, turns out I was just wrong…"

"I wonder if Robin's one too." Said Nami.

"I don't know why but I doubt it…" said Usagi.

"Nami!"

The island they landed took a while to set, so they had to stay there until it fully set.

While there Rei was on her own exploring the town. She had also went shopping that day for a few books and other things.

That when she bumped into Nephrite.

Rei ended up dropping the stuff she brought.

"Oh I'm so sorry." Said Nephrite touched a necklace she had bought.

Rei sensed the evil energy he was exerting.

"Here you go." Said Nephrite handing it back to her.

Rei could tell that was the item had the youma in it. When she fought hard to make sure it didn't take over. She had to wait until he was out of site.

"Sorry about that…" he said.

He got up and walked away, when he was compete out of site, she took out a scroll.

"Spirit Spirit Scroll!" she called out.

She heard a scream come form the necklace as a black aura leaked out of it… after that there was no evil presence.

When Nephrite arrived at his place to see to what was happening with his target, he was shocked…

"No… " he said

That was when he remembered the devil fruit she ate… the abilities it had.

"So this is the power of the Spirit Spirit Fruit." He muttered to himself.

Meanwhile Rei got back to the Going Merry.

"What happened?" asked Ami.

"I saw him." Said Rei, "The one who works for the Dark Kingdom…"

"Do you think he'll try something?" asked Ami.

"I don't know, we'll have to see.." said Rei.

However they heard snoring, they looked at the crow's nest and saw Usagi sleeping in there.

"Figures…" said Rei.

Meanwhile Nephrite had decided the best option was to attack the Going Merry.

"Really now… attacking them?" asked Zoisite appearing.

"We know where their bas of operations…" said Nephrite.

"I get it you ran out of targets to drain from the Straw Hats…" said Zoisite.

Nephrite glared at Zoisite.

"No matter what happens it will work, I won't underestimate the Straw Hats." Said Nephrite.

"You seem to have underestimated that psychic girl." Said Zoisite.

"What are you even doing here?" asked Nephrite.

"Just checking…" said Zoisite.

"I don't need checking on." Muttered Nephrite.

"Don't under estimate the Straw Hats…" said Zoisite, "IT will only cause problem."

Nephrite only glared at Zoisite then walked away.

Zoisite smirked when he was out of site, after all eh was trying to do is give him advice, he new that fact would bite him in the ass…

On the Going Merry a meeting was held as Rei explained the man.

"That does sound like a man I met…" said Luffy.

"Same here…" said Chopper.

"How do we know he's going to attack though?" asked Zoro.

"We don't…" said Luna, "It's just a guess since we don't knew what will happen…"

"All right if he attacks I'm going to kick his ass!" yelled Luffy/

"No you'll just be a distraction." Said Ami.

"What?" asked Luffy.

"We don't know what his powers will be." Said Rei.

Luffy began to pout.

"It will be fine Luffy…" said Usagi.

"But it's going to be boring…' muttered Luffy.

This made everyone sweat drop.

"IS that what he's worried about…" muttered Rei.

"We shouldn't be surprised…" sighed Nami.

Of course they still weren't sure about this so after that meeting they just went about their business.

Nami was checking the log pose, she didn't need to, it was just a habit she developed.

"This better happen…" she muttered to herself.

"So you must be the Straw Hats…" said a voice.

They saw Nephrite appearing walking towards the dock they were at.

"It's that guy!" yelled Luffy.

"S you remember me?" asked Nephrite.

He switched the outfit he was wearing for his uniform, then he jumped onto the ship.

"All right!" yelled Luffy, "If your looking for a fight you got one!"

Sanji and Zoro both got ready as well.

"You really want to fight me?" asked Nephrite.

"I'm going to kick your ass!" said Luffy.

"Let's see you try." Said Nephrite.

"Gum Gum Pistol!" shouted Luffy.

Nephrite dodged.

While Luffy was fighting Nephrite, Usagi, Ami, Rei and Nami all went to a spot where he didn't see them.

"Are you ready?" asked Nami.

"I don't know…" said Usagi.

"Come on Usagi…" growled Rei.

"Fine…" sighed Usagi.

"Moon Prism Power!"

"Mercury Power!"

"Mars Power!"

"Sun Power!"

"Make-Up!"

All of them transformed.

"I still need to get used to this." Said Sailor Sun.

"Let's go." Said Sailor Moon.

Back with the distraction fight, Robin had joined in. Usopp and Chopper hid.

He sent out an energy wave at Luffy knocking him down.

That's enough!" called out Sailor Moon.

Nephrite looked at him, he looked at Sailor Sun and was shocked.

"Another Sailor Senshi?" asked Nephrite.

"That's right!" said Sailor Sun.

"That doesn't matter." Said Nephrite, "All if you are going down."

"No way!" yelled Sailor Moon.

"I summon the stars! Regulus oh guide me!" called out Nephrite.

That was when he summoned various stars that took the form of the constellation of Leo the Lion. IT then turned into a blue lion.

"A lion!" yelled Sailor Moon.

"Who are you!" yelled Sailor Mars.

"Oh I guess never introduced myself, I am Nephrite." Said Nephrite, "Now Regulus! Attack!"

The lion like youma began to chase the Sailor Senshi.

"Sun!" said Mars.

"What? Oh right…" said Sailor Sun still getting used to it.

"Fire Soul!"

"Golden Shining Light!"

The two combined their attacks which turned into a golden fire, which engulfed the youma.

Nephrite gritted his teeth, he wasn't expecting that… then again he wasn't expecting a 4th Senshi…

"Sailor Moon!" said Sailor Sun.

"Right!" said Sailor Moon.

"Moon Tiara Action!" she called out.

The tiara hit the lion like Youma, turning it to dust.

Nephrite glared at the Straw Hats and Sailor Senshi, he had two options, one was run away and plan something else, the other was to continue the fight.

He decided it was best to run.

"I have decided to let you off for now! But next time will be different." Said Nephrite.

"Oh I get it your running away!" said Luffy.

""Say that again and I'll change my mind…" muttered Nephrite.

Luffy was about to saw something but Robin shut him up.

Nephrite disappeared and the Straw Hats breathed a sigh of relief.

"You really threw him off." Laughed Luffy.

"Yeah…" sighed Sailor Sun.

Meanwhile in the Dark Kingdom however Queen Beryl heard what happened.

"There's another Sailor Senshi?" asked Queen Beryl.

"Yes my queen…" said Nephrite.

""When did this happen!" demanded Queen Beryl.

"I don't know…" said Nephrite.

Queen Beryl glared at Nephrite, "Next time you must get rid of them and their pirate friends!"

"I will…" said Nephrite.

"You better, because I'm losing my patience…" muttered queen Beryl.

Back on the Going Merry they disused what happened.

"So his name is Nephrite…" said Rei.

"Well whatever…" said Usopp, "I'm sure he'll be gone soon."

"I don't' know, I think this is one of those things we'll just have to wait and see about…" said Luna.

"Are you sure?" asked Luffy.

"Yeah… Jadeite disappeared…" said Usagi.

Luna sighed, "Just never mind that…"

"Don't worry I'm sure we can stop him next item…" bragged Usopp.

"You didn't do anything!" yelled almost everyone else.

Luffy sighed, "Next time can you please let me fight him?" he asked.

Everyone else stared at Luffy…

"Fine…" sighed Zoro.

"He won't stop complaining… will he…" said Rei.

"No…" said Zoro.

Usagi laughed at Luffy wanting opt fight Nephrite, bout couldn't help getting a strange feeling of Déjà vu from it.

However one thing was for sure, now that they knew who Nephrite was things were going to change… maybe… possibly…

Next Time: Still stuck on the same island as it turns out there's a great ball going on. And the Straw Hats get wrapped into it... thankfully they know one of the are they? And it turns out Nephrite's after something at the Ball. What is it? Find out next time!
