Chapter 12: Nephrite's Plan
Mamoru woke up on his boat, he looked at the sky. He didn't know what he was doing during the night but he didn't' like it.
"These black outs are getting more and more common." He muttered.
He messaged his head. He sighed.
"I hope it's not like that one pirate I've heard about." He said to himself.
Meanwhile on the Going Merry they were still docked at the island, turned out there were still a couple more days for the Log Pose to reset, however things were going great for the crew, word had spread that they did save the island's treasure so vendors were giving them free food.
"You saved the islands treasure last night so here's some meat." Said a local butcher delivering some meat.
"All right!" cheered Luffy.
"Luffy you can't eat it right away!" said Sanji getting off the ship to pick it up.
Nearby Usagi was laying on the deck looking up the sky thinking back to the night before.
All about Tuxedo Mask.
"Are you think about your dad?" asked Nami.
"What no!" said Usagi.
"So what is it?" asked Nami.
"Tuxedo Mask." Answered Usagi.
"Didn't Luffy and your dad stopped him from kissing you?" asked Nami.
"Yeah." Answered Usagi.
"Usagi… seriously… you were going to kiss him?" asked Nami.
"What?" asked Usagi.
"Wee don't know who he is… I get you like him…" said Nami.
Usagi began to pout.
"Sorry Usagi." Said Nami.
"what are you talking about?" asked Luffy.
Usagi glared at him.
"Nothing." Said Usagi.
Luffy sweat dropped.
"Why are you angry with me?" asked Luffy.
"No reason." Said Usagi.
Luffy's sweat drop got even bigger.
Meanwhile Nephrite was contemplating something.
"What? Thinking about how to get rid of the Straw Hats?" asked Zoisite appearing behind him.
Nephrite didn't answer.
"You know Queen Beryl is really upset about last time." Said Zoisite.
"Why should she be?" asked Nephrite, "The crystal wasn't even the Silver Crystal."
Zoisite was going to comment, but realized he didn't have anything to say.
"I'll figure out my own plan with dealing with the Straw Hats." Said Nephrite, "And there will be nothing to stop me."
Zoisite stared at Nephrite.
"Are you sure you can pull it off." She asked.
Nephrite just glared at him not responding.
That was when Nephrite got an idea.
"What is it? You got an idea?" asked Zoisite.
"I'm not telling you." Said Nephrite.
Nephrite disappeared and Zoisite scowled.
Back on the Going Merry, Sanji was getting Chopper to help him fit all of the food in the fridge.
"Are you sure we can fit any more?" asked Chopper.
"Luffy's going to eat it all sooner than later." Pointed out Sanji.
"Oh right." Said Chopper.
"It will be fine." Said Sanji, "If someone shows up with more good I'll just make some snacks."
"We're still here for a few days too." Said Ami entering the Galley.
"Good point." Said Sanji.
"Ami, oh yeah I want to ask you something," said Chopper.
"What?" asked Ami.
"Would you like to go shopping." Said Chopper.
"Of course!" said Ami.
"Can I come too?" asked Sanji.
"I was planning on going book shopping." Said Chopper.
"I don't care!" said Sanji in love cook mode.
Not too long later, Mamoru was walking along the docks thinking about the night before.
That was when he came across the Going Merry.
"Oh you have to be kidding me!" he muttered.
Then someone on the ship noticed him.
"Oh hey Mamoru!" called out Rei who was the one who noticed him.
"Hey Rei." He said.
"How have things been with you?" asked Rei.
"Same old, same old." Said Mamoru.
"That's good." Said Rei as she climbed down to the dock.
Usagi noticed that Rei was talking with Mamoru.
"great he's here." Said Usagi.
Usagi groaned and realized something.
She climbed down the latter.
"I'm going for a walk." She muttered brushing past the two.
"What's her problem?" asked Mamore.
"Who knows." Said Rei.
Usagi began to wander around town. Quite a few people saying hi and thanking her for helping the royal family.
"What's go you so upset?" asked a voice.
She turned around and it was Robin, turned she had joined Ami and Chopper in book shopping.
"Hey Robin." She sighed.
"Is something wrong?" asked Robin.
"No… nothing at all." Said Usagi.
That was when Ami ad Chopper left the store with a bag it a lot of books.
"Hey Usagi is something wrong?" asked Ami.
"Everything's fine!" yelled Usagi glared at her.
Chopper sweat dropped.
"Are you sure?" asked Chopper.
Usagi just glared at him.
That was when suddenly there was a white blast that barely missed them but sent the four of them flying.
They looked up and saw Nephrite.
""You…" muttered Usagi.
"Yes… me…" said Nephrite.
"What do you want?" asked Ami.
"I want you." Said Nephrite, "I want to destroy you once and for all… and having hostages will work."
"You won't be able to." Said Usagi, "Moon…"
Before she could finish it Nephrite used his power to fling Usagi into a wall.
"Usagi!" cried Chopper.
Nephrite flung Chopper as well.
Meanwhile Rei was still talking with Mamoru when she got a bad feeling.
However Mamoru got a bad feeling at the same time.
"Something's wrong…" said Rei.
"I don't know why but I feel it too." Said Mamoru.
At the same time Luffy got that bad feeling as well.
Meanwhile in the Dark Kingdom, Zoisite was with his boyfriend.
That right he had a boy friend and his name was Kunzite, the last of the Four Kings and had very long white hair.
"I'm sure Nephrite is going to pull something." Muttered Zoisite.
"Do you think he will succeed?" asked Kunzite.
"I don't know…" muttered Zoisite.
Kunzite smirked, "Perhaps you can make he doesn't." said Kunzite.
Zoisite smirked.
"You might have a great idea." He said with an evil smirk, "Grape, Suzuran, Housenka."
Three female youma appeared, all of them having different colors and hairstyles but all of them had a facemask cover their faces.
"Yes." Said one had short blonde hair put in a bob and had a light purple facemask… and on her of arms was made of thorns.
"Deal with Nephrite." Said Zoisite.
The three youma nodded and left.
Meanwhile with Nephrite, Robin and Ami were still standing.
Both were ready to fight him, however he picked up both Chopper and Usagi.
"You really want to fight?" asked Nephrite.
Both Ami and Robin weren't sure how to react.
Indeed Nephrite had both of them hostage. And who knew what could happen… especially as Nephrite didn't know of Zoisite's plans for him.
Things were going to get very messy and soon.
Next Time: A three way fight between Nephrite, the Straw Hats and Zoisite's Youma begin! What will happen? Will Nephrite come out on top? Will the Straw Hats make it through? Find out next time!
