Chapter 13: Three Way Battle
Robin glared at Nephrite. After all he was using Usagi and Chopper as shields.
Before she could do anything. Nephrite started laughing.
"I know about your Devil Fruit after all." He reminded her.
Robin was silent at that.
"You try anything with your Devil Fruit powers they're going to get it." Said Nephrite.
Robin glared at him even more harshly.
"You're crew has been a thorn in our sides for far too long." Said Nephrite.
"I am well are of that." Said Robin.
"What are you going to do?" asked Ami.
"You want to know?" asked Nephrite, "Well first off it wouldn't be a good idea to kill them now."
"So that you could use them as bait?" asked Robin.
"Of course." Said Nephrite.
That was when Nephrite disappeared with Usagi and Chopper causing Ami and Robin to pale when he did so.
"We should go back to the ship." Said Ami.
"You're right." Said Robin.
Back at the ship. Sanji was angry….
Why… well it all stems from when Ami and Chopper were going book shopping.
(Flashback)
Sanji was already to go with Ami and Chopper.
That was when a gift from the heavens showed up.
"You two are going book shopping. I'd like to join." Said Robin.
Sanji was practically dancing.
Unfortunately something happened.
Something very terrible happened.
"Hey Sanji!" called out Usopp from the dock.
Sanji froze.
"I managed to get a lot more food. Do you think you can help me bring it up?" asked Usopp.
"Oh I guess you're going to busy then." Said Ami with a sweat drop.
"We'll find a nice cook book for you." Said Robin.
They all be to leave making Sanji fall to his knees.
"Why!" he muttered.
Usopp managed to get on board.
"Hey I still need help." Said Usopp.
Sanji looked up and glared at him.
"What did I do?" asked Usopp.
(End of Flashback)
Sanji was still glaring at Usopp.
"Seriously? You're still mad about that?" asked Usopp.
"Of course I am!" yelled Sanji.
"Just because you couldn't go shopping with Robin and Ami?" asked Usopp.
"I can sense they're in danger!" said Sanji.
"Seriously?" asked Usopp with a sweat drop, "What are the chances of that?"
That was when Ami and Robin got to the ship.
"Robin! Ami!" cheered Sanji, "You're safe! I thought sometime might have happened you!"
"Wait… wasn't Chopper with you?" asked Usopp quickly realign something was wrong.
Sanji stopped in his joy when Usopp said that along with Ami and Robin's reactions.
"We ran into Usagi in town." Said Ami.
"What happened?" asked Sanji becoming serious.
They told them about Nephrite and both of them were concerned.
"What are we going to do?" asked Usopp.
"They're alive." Said Robin, "He did say he was going to use them as bait."
"What!" yelled Usopp and Sanji.
"We have to find the others right away!" said Ami.
"He'll probably send a message soon." Said Robin.
"Hey!" said Luffy stretching on board.
Then he noticed everyone's serious faces and realized what his bad feeling.
"What's wrong?" he asked.
They told them what happened.
"I knew something bad was happening." Muttered Luffy.
"What?" asked everyone else.
"We need to find everyone else on the island. Right now!" said Luffy.
The others nodded in agreement and went to find the rest of the crew.
Elsewhere Usagi woke up.
"What… where am I?" asked Usagi.
She found herself tied up and next to her was a still unconscious Chopper.
"So one of you is awake." Said Nephrite.
"What do you want?" muttered Usagi glaring at Nephrite.
""You're just the bait." Said Nephrite cupping her face, "You along with the crew's doctor."
"Why us?" asked Usagi.
"Both of you were just so easy to capture." He chained.
"Seriously?" asked Usagi.
"I'm also restraining him… if you haven't noticed." Said Nephrite.
That was when she noticed that Chopper seemed to have Sea Stone handcuffs on.
However that was when she noticed Youma that appeared in the room.
"So I take it they're your back up when the rest comes?" asked Usagi.
"What?" asked Nephrite.
He turned around saw the three that Zoisite sent.
"You." He growled.
One of them started to unleash a sound wave from her hands. Turns out this was woke up Chopper.
"What's going on?" asked Chopper suffering through the attack.
"I don't know." Said Usagi.
That another one sent out bombs at Nephrite who dodged them however, while he dodged them one of them hit Usagi.
As Usagi was being held by regular ropes they got set on fire.
She started to scream but then rolled around the ground putting out the flames.
"Usagi…" said Chopper.
"Let's try to get out of here." Said Usagi grabbing Chopper.
However Nephrite tried to attack her.
"You're not going anywhere!" said Nephrite.
She grabbed the moon discus and threw it at him.
"Seriously?" he asked grabbing it getting a electric shock from it.
However the third youma tried to attack him but he barely dodged getting grazed. Showing that he bled green.
Usagi managed to grab the discus and grabbed Chopper and tried to escape once again.
Outside of the building they were in. Zoro… well as to be expected he was lost.
"Great…" he muttered, "where the hell is a tavern."
That was when he heard the crashes from the building.
He got a bad feeling and looked through a window.
His eyes winded when he saw Nephrite in there as well as Chopper and Usagi.
He immediately cut his way in.
But thanks to the fighting going on they didn't notice him.
That was when the Youma realized who Usagi and Chopper were.
"Wait! Aren't they from that pirate crew?" asked one of them.
"They are…" said the third.
"Let's go get them then." Said the first.
"No! They're mine!" yelled Nephrite.
But that didn't do anything at the one with their one that was covered in massive thrones tried to attack Usagi with them, only for the thorns to get sliced by Zoro.
"Zoro!" cheered Usagi and Chopper.
"How did you find us!" yelled Nephrite.
"That's none of your business!" said Zoro glaring at Nephrite.
"He got lost didn't he?" Usagi whispered.
"He did." Sighed Chopper.
"Oh come on!" yelled Zoro hearing what they were talking about.
The room become very silent… all three side not moving for the moment. After all having two weak members of the crew. Having one of the hitters there on the other hand… it was going to be a much defend story.
However before anyone could make a move the call of "Smoke Star!" filled the air.
The room was filled with smoke.
"Let's get out of here!" whispered Chopper.
They left the building and managed to find Usopp and Ami just outside.
"I'm so glad you're here!" said Usagi hugging them.
"How did you know where to find us?" asked Chopper.
"Actually were looking for Zoro." Said Ami with a sweat drop.
"We were asking around if anyone had seen anyone turned." Sai Usopp.
"Turns out Zoro got directions from someone and went the wrong way… so what why we're here…" said Ami blushing slightly.
Zoro was glaring at the two.
"We should we go!" said Usagi.
"Um…" said Chopper holding up his arms.
"We really should get those off." Said Ami.
"Thankfully I have an idea!" said Usopp.
Back inside Nephrite scowled, but thankfully the three youma were distracted so he managed to teleport out of the room.
Elsewhere with Rei and Mamoru both of them were on edge.
"Maybe… we should part ways for the day." Said Mamoru.
Before Rei could answer there was a call of "Rei!"
He turned and saw Luffy turning towards her.
"Oh hey Luffy! What's wrong?" asked Rei.
"Usagi and Chopper were kidnapped!" said Luffy.
"What!" said Rei.
Luffy nodded.
"What… she was?" asked Mamoru only focusing on Usagi.
Luffy glared at him noticing the fact he was so focused on Usagi.
"Chopper was also kidnapped." Said Luffy glaring at him.
"We should go now." Said Rei making sure the two didn't fight.
"Oh yeah! We have to get back to the ship." Said Luffy.
"Yeah… bye Mamoru!" said Rei.
Both of them left leaving Mamoru worried.
As they ran towards the ship. Rei was looking at Luffy strangely.
"What was that about?" asked Rei.
"I don't know." Said Luffy.
"What do you mean you don't know." Said Rei.
"I don't know… I've just been really protective of Usagi lately… it's weird." Said Luffy.
Rei blinked then shrugged it off.
Elsewhere in a workshop on the island, the man who ran it was using a diamond coated blade to cut through the Sea Stone cuffs.
"You know… this is literally the only island this will happen to you." Said the man.
"It is very lucky it happen on this island." Said Usopp.
If it was on any other island… it would be extremely difficult getting rid of them… but on an island who's main trade was diamonds where the people loved the Straw Hats…
Yeah… it was very lucky.
Outside Usagi, Ami and Zoro were waiting, as it would be a good just in case.
"There you are Usagi!" said Luna.
"So did you hear or were you just looking for me in general." Said Usagi glaring at the black cat.
"Why… did something happen?" asked Luna.
"Usagi!" yelled Sanji practically dancing towards her, "You're safe!"
"Yeah… Zoro, Usopp and Ami managed to rescue me."
"Did something happen?" asked Luna.
"Me and Chopper were taken hostage by Nephrite." Said Usagi.
"What?" asked Luna.
"Usagi!" called out Luffy who also saw her along with Rei.
Luffy ran over and hugged Usagi.
"Robin's back at the ship… so that's everyone but Nami accounted for." Said Ami.
"So what happened?" asked Luffy once he broke the hug.
"Well we got rescued." Said Usagi.
"Wait where Chopper." Said Luffy realizing about Chopper.
"I'm here!" said Chopper who was free from the sea stone cuffs.
"We should all head back to the ship." Said Rei.
"I'm sure we can find Nami on the way." Said Luna.
They all headed back to the ship.
Back on the Going Merry, Robin was keeping watch just incase someone came back or Nephrite issued the challenge.
"Hey!" called out Nami.
"Oh good you're here." Said Robin.
"Is something going on?" asked Nami.
"Yes." Said Robin.
But before should answer both of them dodged an attack from above.
"So… are you here to issue your demands?" asked Robin.
"No." answered Nephrite, "Because they were already rescued."
Robin breathed a sigh of relief while Nami was just confused.
But before Nephrite could attack again ,he had to dodge an attack from the Youma with thorns.
Nami and Robin looked at each other.
"Maybe you should transform." Said Robin, "While he's distracted."
"You're right." Said Nami.
She dodged away into the storage room.
"Sun Power! Make-up!" she called out.
And with that she transformed into Sailor Sun.
Up in the air above the Going Merry, the fighting at gotten intense. The one who used bombs used her bombs again, followed by the one with sonic abilities using them.
However that was nothing compared to what happened next.
Nephrite saw that many arms appeared on his torso.
He looked at Robin and paled. That was when the arms grabbed his arms and with a sicken crunched both of them were broken.
"We should really take out the straw hats too." Said the one with thorns.
"Right!" said the one with sonic powers.
Meanwhile everyone arrived at the docks.
"We should transform." Said Usagi.
Ami and Rei nodded.
"Moon Prism Power!"
"Mercury Power!"
"Mars Power!"
"Make-up!" called out all of them.
All three of them transformed.
"All right! Let's go!" said Luffy.
They headed towards the fight.
Back in the in the air. The three Youma were laughing at Nephrite's misfortune.
So a Human pirate was able to do that." Laughed one of them.
"That's quite pathetic… even if it was with a Devil Fruit power." Said one of them.
Sailor Sun joined Robin.
"So what did you do?" asked Sailor Sun.
"Broke his arms." Said Robin with a smirk.
"Okay…" said Sailor Sun with a sweat drop.
The other straw hats made it on the shop.
However the three Youma decided it was better to just finish of Nephrite right there and then.
The one with thorn arms managed to stab him right in front of all the straw hats.
Nephrite fell to the deck.
"What! Why did you do that?" asked Luffy.
"There's some weird infighting going on." Said Zoro.
"You're right!" said Zoisite appearing in midair, "Thanks for the help."
"Great another one." Muttered Zoro.
"Why did you do that?" asked Luffy, "Wasn't he your friend?"
"Hardly, he was a nuisance." Said Zoisite.
Luffy glared at Zoisite very harshly.
Zoisite froze when Luffy glared at him.
"Gum Gum Pistol!" he yelled.
He punched Zoisite hard.
Zoisite fell to the ground.
"You're going to pair that!" said Zoisite, "Kill all of them." Said Zoisite.
"I have an idea!" said Sailor Mercury.
"What is it?" asked Sailor Moon.
She told her fellow Sailor Senshi the plan.
"What are you waiting for attack them now!" yelled Zoisite.
However the four Sailor Senshi readied they're attack.
"Moon Tiara Action!"
"Golden Shinning Light!"
"Fire Soul!"
"Sabao Spray!"
All of the attacks combined and hit the there Youma destroying them.
Zoisite looked as it looked like the Non-Senshi members of the Straw Hats were ready to fight.
"I got rid of Nephrite, so that's all that matters." He said.
He looked at Luffy, shuddered then disappeared.
Nephrite laid on the deck. The thorns sticking in were sparking with energy.
"Figure Zoisite would backstab me…" said Nephrite.
He then coughed up blood.
"What a death… backstabbed, broken and looked on with pity from my enemies." Said Nephrite, "What a way to go."
That was when he started to completely slowly disappear.
"maybe if I get another chance it would be better." He muttered.
With that he compete disappeared.
"What happened to him?" asked Chopper.
"Whatever that thorn was it did that to him." said Robin.
"At least you killed that one." Said Zoro.
"Yeah…" said Sailor Moon.
She headed towards the women's room.
"I'm going to take a nap." She muttered as she retransformed, "I really need it."
Meanwhile Zoisite arrived in the Dark Kingdom.
"Zoisite are you all right?" asked Kunzite.
"I'm fine." He muttered, "It's jut that Straw Hat…"
"What about Straw Hat?" asked Kunzite.
"He reminds me way too much of Tranquility." Said Zoisite.
Kunzite shuddered, "Never mention him again… he's gone."
Zoisite nodded.
Mamoru got to his boat.
However he saw someone in a uniform waiting for him.
"Excuse me are you Chiba Mamoru?" asked the person.
"Yes, I am." Said Mamoru.
"I have a letter." Said the person.
The person gave him the letter.
"Hey Mamoru, I might be going to be at Crossroads Island within the next month. S."
Mamoru smiled, "S" was a pen pal of his. They both had something in common. An old doctor had been the one to get him in contact with S in the first place.
"It would be nice to meet." Said Mamoru.
Sometime later the Log Pose had set.
"So it looks like we're going to be heading out." Said Nami, "And if we ever need to for whatever reason."
Nami held up an enteral pose.
"When you help save a very rich island's treasure I guess that's bound to happen." Said Usopp with a sweat drop.
"Yeah." Said Sanji.
They sweet sail. As they did Robin told the crew something.
"I heard about our next island." She said.
"What about it?" asked Rei.
"Crossroads Island." She said, "And island that has a legend. That many years ago someone who could see into the future said many great destinies would be unleashed there."
"What does that mean?" asked Usopp.
"No one knows." Said Robin.
"Sounds mysterious." Said Luffy.
"Also it's going to take a month for the Long Pose to set." Said Robin.
"Seriously?" groaned everyone else.
"I wonder." Thought Luna.
And so they sailed the next island… unaware of what the prophecy truly meant… and if something was going to happen on that island.
Next Time: The Straw Hats make it to the next island, Crossroads Island... which their stuck at for a Usagi and Luffy befriend a girl while there. Meanwhile Zoisite is given a task... not to collect energy but to find the Rainbow Crystals. What are the Rainbow Crystals? Find out next time!
