"Holy kanji, it's Lunar New Year which is always fun plus my mom, baba along with everybody in Kumandra excited, I wonder what zodiac animal it is this year." June said, getting dressed for school, hearing noisemakers and Pengu yelling goijg to investigate.
She saw her mom and Pranee playing with noisemakers which made the lilac-blue furred dragon youngster grin at her mom and aunt having fun noticing Juniper was awake wondering if they'd woken her up seeingher shake her head.
"Nope, I have school plus I wanna tell everybody about Lunar New Year, and show Lani how to play with the noisemakers just like you and Aunt Pranee are." she said making Sisu giggle, proud that she was proud of her kimgdom knowing it was Show and Tell so knew the class would want to learn, about some Kumandran holidays feeling her belly rumble.
"Go get some breakfast, honey before school." Sisu replied.
June giggled seeing dragon-shaped pancakes for breakfast, putting honey on them seeing Chilli chuckle at this becausehe knew how excited she was, about the Lunar New Year celebration in Kumandra seeing her nod eating messily which made the adults chuckle, because it was cute handing her an napkin so she could clean up before going to school asking where her mother was.
"She and Aunt Pranee were playing with noisemakers." June said.
After getting packed for school, June was flying off besides her mom, grinning seeing paper-dragons knowing the people of Kumandra would include their family in the celebrations hoping school would be fun, as she still sometimes felt strange and shy which Lani got making a smile return relieving Sisu, sometimes she worried about her and Chilli's little lotus-blossom as Lani was her best-friend who she mainly hung around according to her teacher which had inspired her to throw a Lunar New Year party and invite June's class so she could make friends plus had put red-enveloped invites in June's backpack.
At school, Juniper hugged Lani who sensed something bothered her, she could tell when her best dragon-friend was nervous, seeing June hand her a red-envelope seeing her excited reading the invitation that her friend's family was having a party guessing her mom had told her to invite the whole class, seeing June nod at Lani having an idea.
"Hmm let me help, using a gentle wind breeze, that way everybody gets an invite without you having to talk to them." she said seeing June grin, that idea sounded more fun watching Lani summon a gentle breeze throwing the envelopes as it caught them.
Everybody in class were surprised seeing a red envelope on their desk relieving June fist-bumping with Lani putting thrir things in their cubbies, hoping the other kids would want to come as they joined their classmates on the rug
"Of course they will, I wantto since you always come to my house and play in Ocean." Lani whispered just before their teacher started talking and paying attentions but at recess, their classmates were surrounding June, askimg her questions about the party which Lani could see was making June anxious hovering above them.
"Guys leave her be, sshe was anxious about giving out invitations, it's exciting to get to go to where she lives but she gets anxious." Lani told them hearing June do deep dragon breaths which helped her when stressed or upset, relieving Lani and Jasiri seeing June land on the ground.
"Sorry I just needed to calm down, as things were making me stressed." June replied.
At lunchtime, things got a little better as June was having dumplings with rice until Lotus who was Mushu's niece was bothering her as usual which made her create rain scaring everybody running out of there making June upset, thankfully they were having storytime in the library, her happy place calming down.
"At least she's not coming to your party." Lani said trying to cheer her up.
June felt a bit better returning home after school which surprised Chilli and Sisu astheir daughter loved school having no idea she had been stressed involving their party hearing her taking deep breaths guessing something had happened seeing her feel a bit better asking her what was bothering her, guessing it involved the party which surprised them, knowing her classmates would be excited seeing her nod goijg to her room to do homework making Sisu hope she was okay.
"We should leave her be for a little while, maybe she'll tell us in a little while." Chilli assured her seeing her patting her belly that was huge because of the growing baby in her making the snow-dragon male understand, hoping the baby would come soon or the egg it wasin would come soon.
