Story Start!
"Yeah... I'm seeing it now, it's weird. A really nasty energy is coming from the rabbit." Tsubasa stated as she watched the creature that her king had noticed around the school. She was flying through the air and using her magic to communicate to her king.
It was a white rabbit, but it had black energy coating it's body with red flaming veins coming out of the energy as well. It was a nasty, hateful, powerful energy that had even more energy to it than a High-class Devil was suppose to have. The energy that a small bunny had was nearly to the point one could call it an Ultimate-class is sheer amount.
It came to the school, sniffed around, and then vanished while Rias had been training her peerage. Then, once they came back it had appeared again, only this time she had been tasked with following it back to where it came from. It wasn't a magical creature by nature, from what she could sense it was just a normal rabbit.
Something was wrong though for it to be corrupted like this.
It's time... come back to us, Usagi.
A deep, female, sinister voice was heard from inside of her mind.
"Did you hear that through the magic?" Tsubasa asked as she put her hand to her ear. She needed to know if the magical channel connecting her and Sona allowed her to hear that. The magical power might have allowed it.
"No, I didn't hear it, keep a safe distance but continue to observe. What did the voice sound like exactly to you?"
"Hard to describe, but I don't think the words were for me. I'm noticing high concentrations of energy around, and the grass is giving off a black glow like the rabbit. I'm keeping to the sky." Tsubasa stated as she looked around. She was a Rook, for her and her enhanced defense it was best to send her out so that she could deal with anything that might have an unknown ability. "I'm seeing more creatures... they haven't noticed me yet." Tsubasa kept Sona in the know of anything that could be important information.
The deeper she followed the rabbit, the more she could sense the presense of something that didn't feel dangerous to her. The energy was hateful, malicious, and downright frightening, but it didn't exactly feel like something dangerous.
"Mark the location with a teleportation circle so we can investigate later, and then come right back. You aren't equipped to take out more than 1 enemy."
*Pulse*
Tsubasa stopped flying and began to fall towards the ground when a pulse of magical power went through the entire area like a heartbeat. She felt the pulse travel through her body and shut down everything. She went blind, couldn't hear, feel, or taste anything about her surroundings. Even her magical sensing abilities were completely shut off as she was pulled out of the air.
She hit the ground, but couldn't feel it as she ragdolled and stopped when she rolled into a tree, and unable to move, she started to blink.
'I can't use magic... my senses are slowly coming back to me though.' Tsubasa started to move her body slightly as her sight began to come back to her. She couldn't use magic, and her connection to Sona was lost as the magic shut off. Once she moved around, she sat up and touched the grass around her.
Her hand touched a small, hard object.
She brought it up to her face and looked at it.
A Rook Chess Piece.
"... What?" Tsubasa's eyes widened when she extended her hand, and though there was magical power inside of her body, she couldn't feel devil magic inside of her anymore. She looked at her body and saw that her leg was injured from a bad landing. "... I'm... I'm not a Devil anymore?"
That pulse of power, whatever it was, completely negated the Evil Piece inside of her and unfused her from it. She looked at the Evil Piece, realizing that she was once more a human. She was a human, and though she kept some of her magical abilities, she wasn't able to use them to any real extent since her magic was sealed by whatever it was that turned her human once more. She put the Evil Piece in her skirt pocket, and grabbed onto the tree as she pulled herself to her feet.
Her leg wasn't broken, just damaged and bruised.
Thankfully, even before she became a devil she was a martial arts user and had a spiritual sense that allowed her to fight spirits to some level. With any luck, she would be able to leave the area and get back to Sona with the Evil Piece.
*Sssssss*
"Shit... that is if I can get back." Tsubasa saw a white snake on the ground, tainted by the same energy that tainted the rabbit. The energy was just as strong as the rabbit, and she leaned back against the tree when she saw the snake was moving towards her. She reached up and grabbed a branch from the tree, small enough that she could wrap her hand around it.
She failed to snap it.
Her eyes widened when she realized, that since she was no longer a Rook, her strength had gone back to being that of a woman her size and shape. Her body no longer fused with the magical power of the Rook piece.
She was a human again, truly human.
Magical energy that existed in her body started to leave her body, blue energy getting sucked directly from her as the snake opened it's mouth and pulled it from her.
"Stop... that's mine... you can't have that." Tsubasa could quickly feel all of her magical power get sucked from her, until not even a drop remained. The snake closed it's mouth and it got closer to her when she collapsed to the ground. Unable to do anything to fight back against it, but it stopped when it got closer enough to bite her.
Child of man, you have returned to what you once were.
"The snake?" Tsubasa could heard the voice again, and she realized that the snake was looking at her with intelligent eyes. The snake had the same voice as what she had heard earlier, but it didn't seem like it was actually coming from the snake. "Who is out there! I don't want to be human anymore, let me b-"
*Pulse*
The same black energy ripped through the area again, and Tsubasa's body shut down again. Only this time, the energy travelling through her body filled her. She didn't lose her senses either, she was unable to move, but she could see as the energy in the snake seemed to become weaker and transfered to her. The black energy transfered out of the snake and into her body.
It wasn't painful.
She lost her sight, but she could still see.
She saw masses of humans rioting and killing each other with swords, staining the ground with blood.
She saw many humans being set on fire, tied to crosses.
She saw humans slaughtered with explosions and weapons.
She saw humans being feasted on by ancient devils.
She saw humans being sacrificed to the gods.
She saw disease, famine, natural disasters, and everything evil that the world had to offer humanity. She saw all of human history, starting from it's most ancient sources and she could see all of the evils of mankind.
You will now become what you need to be, be Blackened and accept my power. You will become what you need to be.
"No... leave me alone! Stop showing me these images! Stop it, I don't want to see anything else! STOP IT!" Tsubasa could only suffer and watch as ALL of the horrible things of the past were shown to her. She could see and feel every human, all human suffering, from all humans in the past.
Her mind couldn't take it.
Know pain, know pleasure, know pain's pleasure, and pleasure's pain.
Become contradiction, become the light of evil, and the darkness of good.
Tsubasa saw a bright light, and she could see an ancient mountain as her body was flooded with euphoria. All of the bad things that were breaking her mind were gone, and now she was seeing all of the good things about humanity and human history.
Then it switched to the bad again.
Break, and fix, fix and break.
"What is this... this isn't..."
Tsubasa could see it.
She saw an ancient mountain again, only this time she saw a golden portal open up on the top of the mountain. She watched as 5 people, with bodies that glowed with gold. Their human forms ablaze with a golden and pure light. Black markings on their body that seemed alive with power, their eyes shining golden with cross pupils. Their hair even more flaming and gold than before, and she could see a spiral mark on the human being look-a-like's stomach.
Tsubasa's skin became pale and her eyes changed into a pale golden color as well, even her hair becoming a lighter blue. Black armor started to grow out of the ground and cover her, erupting like mud as it destroyed her clothes and replaced them. The armor having red veins on it, and she continued to see history.
The golden beings with spiral stomachs came down the mountain, and as they descended the mountain they started to lose their glow.
At the bottom of the mountain, there were humans with red hair and grey eyes.
When the glowing humans lost their glow, their golden eyes turned blue and their flaming hair turned into a golden blond. They had whisker marks on their cheeks, which had once been black bars of marks that thinned.
"It's... like looking at Naruto..." Tsubasa realized, grunting as the snake bit her arm and started to transform itself. She felt her mind slipping away from her as it injected her with black mud, and she gasped in pleasure.
The feeling of the mud was orgasmic, but also equally painful.
Become my weapon, and kill the Uzumaki child, end his life.
"No... I refuse, that guy... he's just my type. A younger guy... who looks great covered in dirt... I'm not killing-"
The images flooded into her mind.
The World before Human History.
The Age of Gods.
Tsubasa could see True Dragons and Ancient Deities existing, gods that existed before the time of gods, monsters that existed before the time of monsters. Powerful humans that existed before the Age of Humanity, she could see peace and love, hate and suffering again and humans waged war against the gods. The dragons waged war against the humans in the names of the gods. An army of giant red dragons, a race of magically powerful humans that fought and slayed the dragons and stood their ground against the gods.
Then, the world split itself.
The world ripped itself apart, into golden light and black darkness, and there was a massive gap between the two worlds as they separated. Between them was a massive white tower that connected the two worlds.
The Reverse and I should never fuse together again, KILL the Uzumaki before he unleashes the power to destroy the barrier keeping ME and the REVERSE separate!
Kill him!
Save humanity, destroy humanity, save love, kill love!
BECOME the Killer of Contradiction!
Become Contradiction!
Tsubasa's mind went black.
"... Yes."
-With Sona-
"Tsubasa! Tsubasa! Answer... damnit, the connection is broken..." Sona shouted as she reached up and touched her ear.
She was bleeding from her left ear, her nose, and her left eye. Whatever that magical pulse was, it had managed to damage her through the bond that she had with Tsubasa. Sona tossed a magical circle on the floor, and she prepared her magic.
She was summoning Tsubasa back.
Sona's power glowed as she activated the circle, and the summoning magic started to work, and the room was filled with light.
A single Rook piece was on the ground, and Sona's eyes widened in horror.
Tsubasa was gone.
