"Okay, I get that you're excited, but I DO want you to know that Naruto's growth rate is freakish, and you might die if you challenge him?"
Azazel hated, loved, to be the one to tell people the harsh truth, but this was his descendant that he was talking to in a way. He had given him the Sacred Gear, told him how it worked, and watched him summon his servants with it.
"Ancestor, I assure you he is just a 15 year old child, no amount of strength growth would allow him to take on me, an adult with years of martial arts training." Fugaki Uchiha stated as he held his wrist up, where the Sacred Gear was located. He had been picked for this Sacred Gear by his very own ancestor, instead of his genius sons. That alone made him feel his own worth in using it had to be a testament to his strength.
Azazel didn't say what he was thinking.
'More like, I was hoping that you wouldn't be dumb enough to pick a fight with a training freak. The second that boy became a Devil, it was like all the untapped potential his training had been gathering for him started to get unleashed.' Azazel didn't say that out loud though. When Naruto was fully human, well human in body, he had human limitations on how much his body could grow in strength. No matter how much he trained, his body stopped getting stronger when he reached the peak of what a human could do.
It was the biggest weakness of the Uzumaki, they had training methods that allowed them to compete with the supernatural, but the human in them actually held them back. Since it was rare for Uzumaki to be born with Sacred Gears, ONLY Mito Uzumaki being naturally born with one, they didn't have that edge.
Naruto had his human body transformed though.
The limits of the Uzumaki clan's physical prowess no longer applied to Naruto, and his magically enhanced body could no exert it's full strength and he could gain so much more strength. The idea that a skilled martial artist, a human one, with years of training could even stand a chance against him was actually something he would laugh at if it didn't involve his own descendant.
"I am serious, you have a high chance of dying. Also, all of your servants are 1 Star, he has a 5 Star and a 4 Star confirmed. Even if you threw half of your servants at him, the most they could do is take down 1 of his servants." Azazel had high hopes for his second version of the Sacred Gear he made, but his hopes had been dashed.
The servants summoned by the Sacred Gear were far inferior to the servants summoned by the original, he didn't know if it was the inferior materials he used to work with, or maybe just Fugaku's shitty luck that summoned him almost nothing but lower combat power servants, but the new Sacred Gear was still very much inferior to the old one.
Turns out, while he tried to include Ruler as well, he was unable to do so in practice so the Sacred Gear only had 7 servants + the new class he actually managed to add to it.
"His might be stronger, but I assure you I am a far greater mind than him. Under my leadership, Uzumaki Naruto will stand no chance even if he has greater servants." Fugaku had complete confidence in himself.
...
"Naruto has already conquered Japan itself, and is currently running the country with him as the Secret Leader." Azazel deadpanned. He was always keeping an eye on Naruto's servants with his survailence equipment, after her tuned them to be able to view Naruto's servants, he had been able to watch as Naruto took over Japan in less than 2 days by toppling the heads of the government.
He knew that Naruto had managed to both strength and weaken Japan even before he did what he did, the boy had a keen eye for politics and military conquest.
It was like in a another life, he had been a military commander or something.
"... No matter-"
-Later-
"Who the hell was that guy?" Naruto asked as he held his ribs tenderly.
Asia was not happy that he hurt himself training again as the excuse he gave her. So when she had healed him, she had pouted the entire time and refused to completely heal his ribs as a punishment. Turns out, she took great offense to him ripping his bones out to train with. That and the fact that she told him she hated it when he did that during training.
By the way, that was not the first time he had ripped his ribs out, he actually HAD done it before when he had been training. Asia hated it then when he did it, and she hated it now. She really hated it when he hurt himself to get stronger.
'He... he is a monster...'
Fugaku had been expecting something far different than what he had come in contact with. He followed Naruto as he walked home from school, and he had challenged him to a duel to the death, fair and square so that the dual was honorable in appearance. He had even summoned his best Servant to show Naruto that he was a worthy foe.
Here he was though, broken and on the ground.
All he knew was that in a flash, both he and his servant had been turned into bloody broken, future corpses on the ground. His servant vanished next to him, leaving him all alone, while Naruto's own servant that battled against not only his servant, but also against all of the servants that he had hidden in the area.
He wanted the dual to look honorable.
In reality, he had summoned all of his servants and had them hiding to ambush Naruto the second that Naruto accepted the dual.
I summon thee Assassin.
After that point, it was all over and Fugaku didn't even have a memory of what happened. All he was aware of was the screaming that he heard, as his servants were cut to shreds. Then he himself followed just as fast. The little loli monster had absolutely defeated him before he could blink, cutting through his throat and close to his vital organs.
'... I should have listened... I should have listened to my honorable ancestor.' Fugaku thought as the life started to leave his eyes.
Naruto didn't even spare him another glance.
"Did we do good Mommy?"
"You did great Jack, this is why you're my most valuable servant. You were able to weed out his dirty tricks, how about tonight, you can eat with me and Asia? I was thinking of going out and eating ramen, do you want to join us?" Naruto asked his assassin, and she nodded her head excitedly.
"Can it be just the two of us!?"
"No, Asia gets to eat with us too. Ramen is more fun the more people that you have eating it, anyway, I really want Asia to heal my ribs the rest of the way. I might look like I'm fine, but this really hurts." Naruto scratched the back of his head awkwardly. He stopped thinking about the guy who challenged him out of nowhere, and back to what he had been thinking about before.
Getting back on Asia's good side, since she was very upset with him.
He lied to her, and he felt bad about that already, but he would rather her not find out that he had gone to a life and death battle without them to back him up.
"Is it because Mommy is a King?"
"Not this time, this has nothing to do with that. I just really like Asia, and don't want her to stay mad at me. Anyway, you should go into spirit form. Your outfit is not fit for public viewing." Naruto stated to her as he looked at the thong that she wore with no pants. Her clothes were not appropriate no matter how he looked at it.
"You're always talking about being a King though-"
"I mean, I kind of have to." Naruto stated as he rubbed the back of his head. Was he really going to talk about this in front of Jack?
Sure.
Naruto cleared his throat.
"Think of it like me reminding myself that I can't lose. When I talk about being a King, even more than the people I'm talking to, I'm reminding myself of what I have to be. Kind of like how actors will pysche themselves up before a performance. Reminding myself of what my goal is, is a way to make sure that I keep my actions deserving of that goal." Naruto blushed as he got called, realized that Jack of all people, called his habit.
Honestly, most of the time his thoughts had nothing to do with his dreams of being a King, which is why he needed to remind himself from time to time. Whenever he felt that he was going to do something that was not worthy of the title of King, he reminded himself of what he should expect from himself and others that held the title.
Most people had a dream.
Most people had a dream that they never worked towards, and just thought about. They allowed their dreams to slip through their fingers, because they never worked towards them and stopped reminding themselves that their dream was worth fighting for.
"Oh! We understand that!"
"That's right..." Naruto paused as he looked at Jack for a moment. Naruto's brow furrowed as he looked at her more deeply, and tried to figure something out. 'What is her name again?' Naruto thought his question to himself.
He knew her name.
Jack.
"... Jack." Naruto finished his statement after a moment. Naruto rubbed the side of his head, with a slightly concerned look on his face. "I must be really tired, or this rib might be getting to me. That was weird." Naruto whispered.
Why did he have trouble remembering Jack's name?
