"Okay losers, do you know why I'm helping you, because I don't know!"

Naruto actually didn't know.

Rias had seen the results of his own training, and asked that he give a lesson to the rest of her peerage before school started for the day. He didn't really have much of a reason to say no, and since Rias had seen the results of his own training, clearly she believed that one of his training methods would be useful for the others.

Clone Fighting and Sealed Zone training were out though, Naruto was not going to introduce newbies to that level of self-punishment.

"... Because Buchou asked you too?" Kiba stated with a raised hand. It was before dawn, and they were all in their school gym uniforms at the school itself. Some of them with various alertness as Issei stumbled around a little when he had arrived.

"Because you're an idiot." Akeno commented.

Not her fault he had no memory.

"Because you're Total Package Uzumaki."

"Okay Koneko, you're up first then, since you want to sass me." Naruto called Koneko forward and gestured towards his face. "For this lesson, punch me in the face." Naruto stated as he gestured to his cheek. Koneko raised an eyebrow, and she looked at the others for some kind of help understanding what she was suppose to be doing.

"Can I volunteer to go next?" Akeno raised her hand.

She was only even here on Rias' orders.

"... Punch you in the face? You know, I'm a Rook too right? You might be stronger, but I can still do a lot of damage right?" Koneko was a little concerned. The difference in their physical strength was there, but not enough that he could shrug off getting a full force punch to the face like it was nothing.

Naruto grinned.

"Lets just say, even if you punch me you will not be able to use your full strength. I'm going to teach a technique that will allow you to fight at full power, and weaken your opponents power. So come on, punch me in the face." Naruto gestured to himself again for Koneko."The other option is all of you fight me at the same time." Naruto offered her the alternative.

Issei trembled at that suggestion.

He didn't like it, he liked Naruto as a friend, but the thought of having him as an enemy was a horrible one. That was like having the grim reaper be the person who sang you a lullaby. It was just a horrific thought.

"Okay then, here I come." Koneko rushed towards Naruto, and she looked at him carefully to try and see what he was going to do. She pulled back her fist and she swung it forward with all of her power.

Her fist wavered when she looked into Naruto's eyes, and instead of a person she saw a mountain of pure stone. His eyes showed an unwavering wall that wouldn't be moved. In his eyes, on his features, there was not a man. There was a stone giant in his place, wearing a crown of gold and staring down at her from his place atop of the mountain of corpses.

Koneko's fist made contact with Naruto's face, and while it sounded like a cannon went off, Koneko looked at her own fist as she pulled it back.

'I held back?' Koneko thought as she looked at Naruto, and saw his eyes were back to normal. She pulled her fist back and she swung it forward again.

That same image appeared in her mind, and when he fist struck Naruto, she noticed that there was less physical power behind her strikes. No matter how hard she tried, she knew that her fists wouldn't be able to do any damage to the mountain in front of her. She pulled back from her second punch, looking at her fist in pure confusion.

"Now, Kiba, attack me with your sword. You have 100 sword slashes to land a hit on me." Naruto stated as he loosened his body up.

Kiba summoned a sword, a real one and not a practice one, and he held it firmly in his hands. He looked at the confused Koneko, who was still looking down at her fist. He looked over at Naruto again, who had a strange relaxed look to his eyes.

Faster than the eye could normally see, Kiba was in front of Naruto and swinging his sword.

It missed.

He swung again, and Naruto moved like the wind as the sword passed by him. The third strike from the sword came very close to Naruto, but still not close enough to actually touch him. Kiba looked down at Naruto's feet, which were shifting around but never actually leaving the ground. He made his stance more firm in responce, and he pushed forward and attacked again. He followed Naruto and kept swinging his sword.

A leaf in the wind.

No matter how much he swung his sword, the leaf moved with the movement of the wind itself and moved out of the sword's reach. Naruto's eyes showed relaxation, as if he weren't dodging a sword that could injure him. Naruto was completely at ease, his body following his commands by instinct alone.

"I am the a leaf in the wind, and the indomitable mountain giant, I am both and neither." Naruto stated as he dodged the last strike that Kiba was allowed to swing.

Kiba looked at his sword in shock, since 100 sword strikes had passed by before he could even register that he had been swinging that much.

Koneko was shocked as well.

'Wait, in my head I saw a mountain and stone giant... how did he know to say that?' Koneko thought.

Kiba flinched when and looked at Naruto, whose eyes were back to normal.

"Wait, a leaf?"

"Now Akeno, strike me with-"

*BZZZZT BOOM*

"Eager, though I understand it. Now try it again though." Naruto stated as he threw the lightning bolt she sent at him across the field. It put a crater in the ground where it landed, and he looked at the tips of his fingers that had been damaged by what he had done. Naruto glanced at Akeno, who was already gathering more lightning to her fingers to attack him.

His eyes were sharp and focused.

Akeno threw another bolt of lightning at him, but Naruto reached out with his damaged hand and grabbed it. Ignoring the pain he gripped the lightning in his hand and redirected it towards the other end of the field again. Akeno grit her teeth and threw another bolt with her free hand, only for it to get redirected again. Naruto's sharp and focused eyes gave off the image sword, a sword that attracted and repelled lightning.

Akeno sent a torrent of water at Naruto, but his eyes remained unchanged, and he split the water with his hand as it came at him. The blade in his eyes didn't waver, so she summoned a fireball in her hand and threw it at Naruto. With his damaged hand, Naruto punched the fireball and dispersed it just as easily as the lightning and the water.

Akeno threw ice at him last, and Naruto's hand was like a spear as he pieced the ice shard and proceeded to use it to stab into the ground.

"Like a blade, I can cut through anything sent my way." Naruto stated to Akeno with a grin on his face. "Like I blade, I don't feel pain, no matter how damaged by blade gets I can still be deadly." Naruto added on.

Akeno grit her teeth.

'How did he know that was what I saw when I looked into his eyes?' Akeno questioned herself, realizing that she had been launching spells at Naruto for 5 minutes straight. Her magic had been completely useless.

Naruto just laughed.

"Magic, Weapons, Martial Arts? You are all great at what you do, but there is something that holds you back. Kiba, you actually have a pretty firm grasp of this, what you're missing that holds you back, right?" Naruto expected the knight to understand.

Naruto grinned.

"You had a firm mental image, and the determination to never lose track of that mental image, right?" Kiba asked, unsure of that was the right answer or not.

Issei spoke up.

"That sounds like bullshit to me, I mean, Naruto believed that he couldn't be hit, or he believed that Koneko couldn't hurt him... so he made it possible through nothing but determination?" Issei couldn't believe that for a second. Naruto had to just be so tough that Koneko couldn't hurt him, or so fast that Kiba couldn't hit him.

Koneko eyes lit up.

She understood.

'I couldn't hit him at full strength, because when I looked into his eyes, my body held back on instinct so that I didn't hurt myself. My subconscious could see Naruto's mental image from his eyes, the window to the mind and soul.' Koneko put her hand up on her face.

Issei was wrong.

Naruto was so determined in his own mental image, that others who looked into his eyes saw his mental image as well. Anyone with who was less than 100% determined in attacking Naruto wouldn't be able to follow through as the mental image in their minds would always hold them back.

"I am an unstoppable spear, nothing can stop my attacks!" Naruto shouted as he shoved his hand into the ground, piercing it with ease. Naruto ripped a massive boulder out of the ground and threw it straight up into the air. "I am an unbreakable shield, no attack can make me kneel!" Naruto shouted out as his determined eyes stayed unwavering.

The boulder smashed into his skull, and the boulder shattered, while Naruto started to bleed slightly from his forehead.

"Naruto, stop hurting yourself already..." Asia whispered.

"I am an unwavering sword, I feel no pain, and will cut down my foes. I am a gentle leaf on the wind, I can dodge any attack. I am the King of the world, I will stand above all overs." Naruto stated as he stormed forward at them.

Koneko almost bowed to him.

'I am a proud lion, I don't bow.' Koneko convinced herself as she stared Naruto back in the eyes until he passed by her and walked towards the others.

'I'm... bowing?' Kiba looked down and realized he had taken a knee before Naruto. He wasn't the only one, Akeno, Issei, and Asia were all down on one knee as well. The second they looked into Naruto's eyes, they had been affected by his determination and his vision of himself. His body had reacted on it's own to what Naruto had been thinking, because when he viewed those eyes he could see that vision.

He saw a vision of himself bowing to Naruto, and his body had done it on his behalf.

"Master this technique, and you will have mastered yourself! No amount of training will be too hard, those limits that you thought you had? You will discover that they were only holding you back, that your limits are much higher than you thought. For those with determination and guts, who have a clear image of what they are in their head, then you can challenge even opponents stronger than you!" Naruto roared out.

His eyes never wavered, and Akeno grit her teeth.

'How can somebody who should be like me, have so much confidence in himself like this? Why is he so much better than me? His past is even worse than mine, but he does nothing but walk forward on his own path... how did he reach this point?' Akeno glared at Naruto.

He was what she wanted to be, and she hated him for it. Every breath he took, he remidned her of the type of person that she wished she was. Confident and brave, able to accept himself for who he was, even though he should have even more trauma about himself than any of them. Unlike all of them who had needed Rias to save their lives, only Naruto existed as a person who stood all by himself through it all.

"So how do we learn how to do that?" Kiba asked as he accepted Naruto's words.

Naruto looked him in the eye.

"Figure out what your reason for living is. As long as people are alive, they need a reason to live. You are only strong when you have something precious to protect, be it a dream, a concept, or a person. After that, you just need the guts and determination to be whatever you need to be to protect it." Naruto stated to Kiba. He had nothing he could actually do to train them in this technique, and he wasn't going to sit down with each of them to help them figure it out either.

"I want to destroy the Excalibur swords." Kiba stated proudly.

Naruto raised an eyebrow.

"Oh? Is that what is truly precious to you then? The thing deepest in your heart that is worthy of all your determination? If it is, then I won't say anything against it. I'm done training all of you now, so I'm going to get ready for school." Naruto stated as he turned around and started to walk away.

-Later-

"Okay class, today I'm introducing a new transfer student."

Naruto raised an eyebrow, while Koneko leaned up from her desk and watched as the front door to the classroom opened up. A familiar face to both of them walked into the classroom, and grabbed the chalk that the teacher offered.

"Hello and thank you all, I will be starting here today, and I hope to get to know you all."

The transfer student wrote her name on the board.

Ravel Phenex

"I'm Ravel Phenex, and the pleasure is all mine." Ravel smiled and bowed to the class, before she made eye contact with Naruto.

She had not given up.
