Story Start!
Valerie Tepes.
Actually, with no Vampire having a last name any longer, her name was simply Valerie as it were to be called. She was a young woman of about 20 years old, with a beautiful doll-like face, but a rather human looking body in maturity unlike the rest of the doll-like vampires. She took far more after her human side than others, but still retained the blond hair and red eyes of her species.
Unlike the other Vampires, as a Dhampire she could escape at any point she really tried, since she didn't have the same weaknesses as the rest of the captured members of her family. She needed to stay with them though, because she was the only one born with the power to protect her species from complete genocide if things went south.
"Come on blood sucker, I don't know why bro sent me to collect you, but apparently there is something about you that is special." Mordred stated as she appeared in front of Valerie's cell.
If it were up to her, and not Lancer, the entire Vampire race would have been wiped out entirely. Somehow though, Lancer had seen something in this human-preying species that was of worth to Naruto. They had taken out hundreds of their soldiers in the war to take out Romania, but even though they had quickly fallen in battle, and 1/3rd of their species had been destroyed by Lancer, in the end here they all were.
"... So... It's my turn to get sold?" Valerie asked with some hopelessness in her voice.
Mordred looked at her.
"No, Bro looked at your profile and decided that you shouldn't be sold to anyone. Now come on, Bro asked me personally to come and get you." Mordred stated as she grabbed the chain around Valerie's neck and pulled on it. She had no reason to be kind to the spoil of war that was this girl, even if Naruto personally wanted her brought to him.
Kindness and following orders were no the same thing, and Mordred had more important things on her mind. She had been given Britain by Naruto as her reward for leading the war efforts, because of how quickly she had been able to do her job. Sure, Nitocris and Lancer helped her out in the end, but she had led the charge and intimidated the most countries into surrendering peacefully.
"... Can I ask what will happen to the rest of the Tepes family?" Valerie asked Mordred with audible worry.
Mordred didn't bother thinking hard on that.
"Bro is currently approving the people who will be buying your race. Seriously, you losers lost the war, if it were up to me you would have been wiped out. He seems to think that one day, your race will be able to mix with humans... but I know vampires are as evil as they come." Mordred stated with a short glare at Valerie. Back when she was alive, vampires were far more well known and the terror that they inflicted on people was even more well known.
Vampires did evil things to humans, or would force humans to become their vampire slaves, which made what was happening to the vampires now kind of ironic. The species who lorded their power over humanity, had lost to humanity and was now facing the same fate that they had inflicted on humans for their species entire time on this planet.
"I don't deny that." Valerie couldn't rightfully deny her species had more than it's fair share of evil people, with more than 70% of vampires being so prideful that it actually made them evil in nature. Their willingness to do anything they wanted to the races they looked down on, simply because they were inferior, had always been a sore spot for her when she viewed her family history. "... but I don't agree with it."
Mordred yanked on her chain harder and caused her to fall to the ground.
Mordred kept walking, and Valerie was forced to scramble to her feet to avoid getting dragged across the ground by the woman.
"This isn't an argument, every time I talk to you, you will respond without arguing with me. I've seen personally just how evil vampires are." Mordred had no room for having her mind changed. She had been around in the time where dragons roamed the world freely, and everyone knew of the supernatural. She had slayed dragons with her fellow knights, and had done her fair share of supernatural creature murdering. "Anyway... what is special about you that bro made the choice to turn you into his personal servant?" Mordred asked as he looked the woman up and down out of the side of her eye.
Sure, she was beautiful, but Naruto didn't care about beauty. He cared about strength of body and strength of heart.
"... I have the Sacred Gear, Sephiroth Grail maybe?" Valerie wasn't sure, but if she was chosen out of everyone, maybe that was the cause.
They arrived.
"Xenovia."
"Mordred." Xenovia greeted Mordred with a smile on her face. She was wearing full armor now, her breasts and rips being covered by plated armor, with her legs and thighs matching. She needed her stomach and arms uncovered though so she could more quickly wield her Durandal. She even had a helmet on, but underneath all of that she still wore her church battle attire... without the cross now.
She had been given a job, when she wasn't at school, to patrol the city and exterminate any and all rogue supernatural beings who came into the city. If they were too strong for her, she was to report their existence to Naruto himself so that he could have one of his servant's take care of it.
"Naruto is waiting for you, he just got out of a meeting with the leaders of South America, discussing the conditions that they would surrender thier continent to him." Xenovia stated with a smile. "Oh... a Dhampire..." Xenovia noticed the girl in chains and rags, but despite her rags her aura of beauty was too unmistakable. "... If it were me, I would have just had all of them killed. I've seen what vampires do to human villages for fun." Xenovia spat on the ground in front of Valerie.
The reason Xenovia had short hair, was because she went on a mission with Irina to go exterminate a vampire who was creating undead out of humans in a small village. Just for the purpose of terrorizing them and plaguing them with zombies. No other reason than his own amusement, and if it were not for her and Irina killing him, then the entire village would have been turned into his undead slaves.
Xenovia knew personally after fighting many vampires, just how evil their species was.
"... I won't deny that... but I still don't agree-"
Xenovia pointed her sword at Valerie.
"You will be meeting my Lord soon, and you will not make even one move against him. I don't know why Lancer decided to spare your species, but just know I've got my eye on you." Xenovia wouldn't dare kill Valerie unless she was ordered to. Her duty was to follow his orders exactly as he ordered them, with no deviation from what he told her.
Valerie hated that she could not deny the evil ways of the rest of her species.
She didn't agree with it, because out of every 100 vampires, Valerie could say that 1 of them was born a good person. That was not a good ratio though, and she herself as a Dhampire had faced serious hatred from her own family for being lesser than the others. She knew just how evil her people were, so even she approved of their vampire pride being completely crushed. That said, she wanted to defend the few good vampires out there, even if she knew what kind of trash the rest of her species were.
Valerie was taken by Mordred into the building.
Up some stairs.
Down the hall, and to a door on the right without another word spoken to her. Valerie froze when she sensed an aura of bottomless evil far more intense than the evil of any vampire that she had ever met before. Mordred had sensed it as well, and her sword appeared in her hand as she opened the door.
A devil that they didn't recognize.
"-which is why I believe this deal will be a good way for you to get what you want, and I can get what I want. You see, I don't care about revenge for my father. I just want to be able to cause as much chaos as I can in other worlds... and I think that if you allow me to serve you, the man who conquered most of the world in a day... we can both do greater things." The man was in the middle of speaking with Naruto.
His eyes were sparkling with ill intent, but also respect and hope.
"So... as long as you can lead a squad of devils into another world to cause chaos, you will willingly do whatever I say... without question?" Naruto asked the man.
There was no hesitation.
"You are more of a devil than ANY devil I have ever met before. You take what you want, you do what you want, and you follow your desires with such a strong passion that hearing of what you did ignited a great passion in me. If you will allow me, when the time comes, I will help you conquer the Underworld." The silver haired devil of a man spoke smoothly.
Jack standing next to him sniffed him.
"... He's telling the truth."
"I am apart of the Khaos Brigade, and I can have a small army of powerful warriors are your disposal in no time at all. I personally can Cancel Sacred Gears, so-" The man was stopped when Naruto raised his hand against him.
He looked curiously at Naruto.
"Say no more, I will give you a job, and if you complete it then I will accept you as an underling. If you fail, I will have you killed. You have 8 weeks to get this list of things done." Naruto stated as he started to write down a list on a piece of paper. The man looked towards Naruto with eagerness in his eyes. "... and by the way, I will allow you to travel to another world, but you are never to bring your chaos to this world that I rule... understand?" Naruto asked, and the man seemed a little put off.
He still nodded his head.
"Yes, I guess me bringing chaos to your world would go against your wishes, which would make us enemies. Very well, I will not bring chaos to this world." He agreed.
Jack sniffed him.
"He is telling the truth again."
"You will ALSO not allow any of the people on your side to bring chaos or destruction to my world, and you will not summon anything, or unseal anything, or otherwise do anything that would go against that." Naruto stated after a moment of thought.
There was a pause from the man.
He opened his mouth.
"-and with that, you show just how much of a real devil you are. You saw the loophole I was going to exploit. Yes, I agree to your terms. It would be an honor to serve the Demon King." The man grabbed the list that Naruto handed him, looked it over, before he chuckled to himself and turned to head out of the building.
He stopped by Mordred, gave the girl a mocking bow, before he continued to walk.
"... Who was that?"
"A guy who requested an audience, I've decided the Underworld is my next target. Since I don't have full control of Earth yet, I'm going to have some groundwork laid out ahead of time. So this is Valerie... come in and sit down." Naruto stated as he gestured to the chair across from him. The woman gulped and nodded her head, moving towards Naruto as she took her seat.
Naruto just looked at her for a second.
Naruto nodded his head.
"Okay then, you have nice eyes. You will be mine, and my first assignment for you is to use my authority to check up on the vampires who have already been sold. Make sure that they aren't getting abused, and they are not abusing others, and report back to me what you find." Naruto stated as he stood up and turned towards the window.
...
"That's all?"
"Yes, that's all... you're a Dhampire, the proof that humans and vampires can be together. You are hated by both humans and vampires as well, you're not going to be biased towards either side, I can see it in your eyes." Naruto stated to his servant. "Of course, unlike the other vampires, you will not be freed from your slavery until all other vampires have earned their freedom. I'm giving you the job to make sure that Vampires and humans will learn to accept each other." Naruto stated to Valerie.
The girl smiled widely.
"Yes! Yes sir! I'll be sure to do a great job!" Valerie bowed to Naruto with a wide smile.
Naruto just nodded his head.
Everything was going well.
Something shitty was going to happen soon, he could feel it.
