Chapter 9: Aftermath
It's been about a few days sense the end of the civil war in the Hidden Mist ended and the group from Konoha were taking it slow getting back. Though all those that didn't now of Naruto and Belial's secret before it being blown because of Naruto's transformation were still trying to process what they saw and were trying to figure out how Naruto became an Ultraman and how is Belial in human form when he's supposed to be a giant. Only one among them was brave enough to ask these questions and more.
"So, you have to wait 21 hours before you can change into another Ultraman form? That must suck." Kiba said.
"I won't lie, it does when I need to transform again. But that's what happens when an Ultra transforms on another world, though it doesn't mean I can't transform into a Kaiju-Fusion during the time, like Pedanium Zetton for example." Naruto said, everyone nodded in understanding, though Shikamaru knew that there's more to it than that.
"It's more than just the waiting period that's the problem isn't it?" Shikamaru asked, Naruto sighed figured that this might be brought up.
"Yep, kaiju transformations don't have a time limit but it's the Ultraman forms that do, which really stinks" Naruto said.
"That's not what I mean, Naruto. You're avoiding the truth about the Ultra form." Shikamaru said sternly, Naruto shook his as he knew that Shikamaru would have figured out something like this and wanted to know if he's right, Naruto prepped himself as he knew what's to come.
"An Ultra's time limit of action is 3 minutes depending on how much energy they use up" Naruto said, this new bit shocked everyone even those that didn't know about it yet. "However, that's not the worst of it." Naruto continued.
"What can be worse than that?" Sasuke asked, though from the look on Naruto's face it can't be good. Taking a deep breath Naruto prepared himself for their reactions from this next part.
"When the Color Timer stops blinking red, that generally means that… The Ultra dies." Naruto stated, this news shocked everyone, but Belial, as that would mean that…
"…Wait … So that means you'd only have three minutes to… live?" Asuma said slowly to make sure he understood that right, Naruto nods his head slowly in respawns, causing Asuma to drop the cigarette he was smoking.
"The light indicates life, without it, it's death" Belial explained a bit more to give them a better idea.
"…Naruto… How long have you known this?" Hinata asked slowly with an edge to her voice, surprising those that knew her, for she never ever used that kind of tone before, then again being around Naruto seemed to have given her a slight backbone.
"Ever since he gave me this power" Naruto said, and before he knew it Hinata slapped him in the face before hugging him and started crying into his shoulder, he was stunned at first before he hugged her back and tried to comfort her.
Though her actions surprised those around them, even Belial as he and as well as everyone didn't think she have the backbone to slap Naruto or anyone for that matter.
"Did not see that coming" Sakura said as she replayed what just happened in her mind.
"I don't think any of us were, Sakura." Sasuke said, even Kurenai's jaw dropped from what happened for she never seen Hinata do that, to anyone period!.
"You gave my baby a power that limits his life to three minutes?!" Kushina exclaimed in anger as she put her sword to Belial's neck, but Belial showed no fear to this.
"It was his choice, he wanted it." Belial said calmly. "I made sure that he didn't need to rely on the Ultra power alone and taught him how use Kaiju-Fusions, he'd only use it when there's no other choice." He explained further.
"... Tsk" Kushina then put her sword away. "Not many can look at the face of the red death and not be afraid." Kushina said impressed by the Ultra.
"Because I'm not afraid of death" Belial said. "That, and I already died a few times." Belial finished, shocking everyone, but Naruto.
"It's a long story, I'll tell you later." Belial said, as he knew that his history will either scare them or they'll sympathies with him depending their point of view.
"I'm hungry." Was all Menma and Mito had to say, causing everyone to burst out laughing at this.
"I never thought those stone face would look so good." Shikamaru said as the Leaf was in sight.
"Tell me about it." Ino said .
"Food." Mito and Menma said as they were starving and just kept moving. Suddenly Naruto's stomach rumbled so loud you'd think it was a Kaiju.
"Guess I'm hungry too." Naruto said, everyone had a good laugh at this, though Belial was more focused on what's to come today.
As everyone came in Kakashi decided to deliver their report to Hiruzen as Naruto and his family raced home to eat as everyone went to their homes with their families, Belial decided to fallow Kakashi as he knew that the counsel would summon him after they made their report.
"You better save me some food." Belial said as he went with Kakashi.
"No promises." Naruto called back.
"Kakashi has the worst luck in rock, paper, scissors." Menma said as the captains decided to do that to see who'd give Hiruzen their report.
Naruto and his family arrived back at the house and Kushina started to make their meal, Naruto fell back as Scarlet jumped onto him and began licking his face.
"Ha-Ha! Okay, Scarlet, I see you too!" Naruto laughed and the fox continued to lick his face causing Menma and Mito to laugh at the sight while Kushina just smiled while making their meal.
Mito laughed as she had Gigan sitting in the palm of her hand
"I love how you can shrink him so small." Mito said, while said Kaiju made a small squeak in respawns at that comment.
"Well, mom, doesn't want him so big in the house that he'll wreck things." Naruto said, before he pulled out a storage scroll and unsealed the contents, revealing a bunch of notes with so many different equations and what looks to be a diagram for his Battlenizer, Menma noticed this.
"Hey, bro. What's all these about?" He asked, Naruto looked at his brother before deciding to reveal what they are.
"These are equations for trying to figure out how to increase the amount of Kaiju I can hold and how to up the power to the point where I can unlock their super forms, but I keep running into a wall trying to figure out the power output on it." Naruto answered before pulling out a pencil and started to get to work on figuring it out, Kushina overheard this and is proud to know that her son didn't just focused on his shinobi career.
"Sounds pretty complicated, Naruto." Mito said as she watched Gigan curled up on the table sleeping like cat.
"Oh, it is." Naruto said as he looked through his notes only to start scratching his head as he hit the same problem again before a light bulb went off in his head. "Perhaps Airgu can help." He said to himself.
"You can worry about that later, Naruto." Kushina said as she placed their food on the table. "Right now, it's time to eat." Kushina finished before taking a seat and began to eat, Naruto put his notes to the side and also began to eat along with Mito and Menma.
"I hope Belial is doing alright, sense he has to deal with the counsel and all." Naruto thought while he ate.
(Meanwhile at the Hokagē's office)
"Just when I thought the world ran out of surprises for me." Hiruzen said as massaged his head from all the information about the mission and the aftermath of said mission, he should have seen this coming.
"Well sorry old man, it just did." Belial said, as he felt for the old Kagē for he would have felt the same thing if the situation was reversed.
"Danzo's going to be jumping at the chance to weaponize this." Hiruzen said, with a frown.
"I'd like to see him try." Belial said, as he scowled in though about the Old War Hawk.
"You do realize things won't be the same for you and him, right?" Hiruzen asked as once the public knew realized there would be no going back.
"I don't care." Belial said.
"This will basically be painting a target on you and Naruto." Hiruzen said.
"Like I said, I don't care me, and the kid can take care of ourselves, and if anybody tries anything then it'll be the last thing they do." Belial said
"I don't know who has the harder head, you or Naruto." Hiruzen said with a chuckle.
"You'd be surprised." Belial said
"Alright I'll inform them." Hiruzen said
"Alright, now can I go? Kushina's cooking and I want to be there to try some." Belial said, Hiruzen raised an eyebrow at this as he didn't think he cared much about such things, unless…
Belial noticed the small smirk growing on Hiruzen's face and didn't like it.
"The hell are you smirking about?" Belial questioned.
"Oh, nothing to concern yourself with and yes, your dismissed till the council calls for you." Hiruzen said, Belial just shrugged before using the shadow style to leave the office.
(Back at Naruto's house)
The triplets were laughing as Gigan took advantage of his shrunken state to use a bowl of ramen like it was a swimming pool.
"Living the dream buddy." Naruto said
Belial then came out of the shadows.
"I'm free until the council calls, I hate meetings." Belial said as he slumped into a chair.
"As bad as we thought, huh?" Naruto said as he knew there's going to be some problems now that their Ultra status was revealed.
"Yep, that's why I'm here to have some lunch before being summoned by them." Belial said, before Kushina put a bowl of warm ramen in front of him.
"It's a good thing that I saw this coming and made sure there was enough for a fourth person." Kushina said, Belial nodded his head in thanks before he took the chopstick and started to eat the food while he has a chance.
They all continued to eat for about half an hour and finished eating the food Kushina made, right now they were sharing stories of their funniest and most embarrassing moments and were all laughing their ass's off.
"I mean how dumb do you have to be to be outsmarted by a boy when you're a Chunin and you let him get past you to not only paint the Kage monument but also steal the forbidden scroll, I mean seriously if it wasn't for me all of our stuff would really be bad. I hope Gramps has gotten around to fixing that." Naruto said while still laughing.
"Yeah, but you're a Uzumaki, honey, and we Uzumaki have a tendency to be unpredictable." Kushina said as she was just like him growing up
"You, my friend are probably going to be smelling like broth for a week." Belial said as Gigan literally ate the ramen that was in the bowl he was swimming in.
Gigan burped as it patted it's belly, everyone just busted out laughing at the mini Kaiju though Gigan didn't seem to care at the moment. Just then they heard someone knocking on the door, Belial knew who that is, so he got up and went to the door and opened it to reveal an Anbu standing there.
"Let me guess, the counsel?" Belial stated then asked, the Anbu simply nodded their head. "Alright I'll be there shortly, go ahead and let them know." Belial finished, the Anbu than vanished from sight and Belial closed the door and went back to the Uzumaki family.
"Just got summoned, right?" Naruto asked.
"Yep, so I'll talk to guys later." Belial said before using his shadow style and left the house.
Meanwhile with the counsel.
"Alright, let get this over with" Belial said as he arrived.
"You said it" Hiruzen said in agreement as they walked in and took their seats.
"So, it is said that Naruto became the Ultraman from before to defeat Yagura and that you to are an Ultra as well." Danzo said
"Here we go." Belial muttered as he rolled his eyes, as he knew this was coming. "Yes, to both accounts, though don't think I can recreate what I did with Naruto with anyone ellse." Belial stated, Danzo frowned at this as he didn't like were this was going one bit.
"Really, why's that?" Shikaku questioned.
"It's simple really, it's basically the same as when I explained how he gained the abilities for light and dark styles, since that's what the ritual was really about, the two styles were a simple a side effect of it." Belial explained, this caused those who get the picture to nod as it made sense, though Danzo still has one question he would'd have liked to beliked answered.
"What about his future children, will they gain the abilities to become an Ultra?" Danzo asked, everyone who didn't like Danzo just rolled their eyes as they saw this coming from a mile away.
"Hmm, probably" Belial said with a shrug, this surprised everyone as they didn't he'd give an answer like that.
"Really?" Hiashi said
"Well, they will possess the Ultraman DNA he possesses giving them the potential to become one" Belial explained.
Everyone nodded as that made sense.
"However, there's only a 50/50 percent chance that they will have Ultra abilities or none whatsoever, for hybrids are tricky and have not been seen before, and its only speculation at this point." Belial finished, they all understood that, as it would be hard to tell if a hybrid will gain anything or not, though Danzo is mentally angry that he can't command an army of Ultra's loyal only to him, though he still has one more question that he needs to ask.
"What kind of Ultra are you?" Danzo questioned, everyone didn't think Danzo would ask that kind of question, though regardless Belial decided to go through with it.
"I think it be best if I show you all." Belial said before pulling out a dark version of the Beta Capsule and raised it over his head and pressed the button causing him to be shrouded in darkness before it vanished showing his true form.
His Ultra form scared everyone once they saw it, as most of them jumped out of their seats at the sight, Belial chuckled seeing all of their faces.
"You're an Ultraman? W-why do you look like this?" Danzo asked as he thought that Ultramen were the embodiment of light, there's no mention of one looking like this and having this dark aura.
"That is a long story." Belial said as he took his seat again while crossing his arms.
"We've got time." Shikaku said, Belial sighed before he began to explain everything to them.
Meanwhile with Naruto and Airgu.
Naruto is currently working on his project with Airgu's help, while they were doing this Kushina, Mito and Menma were looking around the room as they see all kinds of machines and inventions that are beyond there comprehension.
"That should solve the equation for the Battlenizer's power output and Kaiju holding capacity." Airgu said, as Naruto finished with said equation and can now see what the result is.
"Thanks for the help, Airgu." Naruto said as put the notes away.
"You're welcome, master Naruto." Airgu said.
"I wish you'd stop calling me master" Naruto said with a sigh, as his siblings are looking at the
"Ooh" Mito said as she looked at a machine that had many flashing buttons and was about to touch one of said the buttons.
"Don't touch that" Naruto said not even turning around, causing Mito to back away in surprise at how he didn't turn around to see what she was doing, Menma goes to touch a switch, only to receive the same result. "Or that." Naruto said
That's when Kushina noticed a clear glass cabinet and decided to see what's in it, she walked over to and once she got close enough, she can see the contents were Ultra capsules and Kaiju capsules. She couldn't believe the amount available and the variety of them is quite impressive, though she did noticed that there's a shelf with mostly blank capsules and one single Bijuu capsule can be seen. Naruto noticed this and went over to her and stood next to her as she continued looking at them.
"It's quite something isn't it?" Naruto said, Kushina looked at him briefly before looking back at the capsules.
"Yes, it is. I have to admit, I didn't think my son became an Ultra at first and I did have my doubts, till I saw you transform with my own eyes." Kushina admitted, Naruto can only nod to that that as it would be hard for anyone to believe at first till they seen it themselves.
"Why do you have so many blank ones?" Mito asked
"Because all I would need is a piece of the kaiju I want to make a capsule for to make it active. Whether it be their remains, blood or even saliva as long as it has their DNA I can make a capsule for it" Naruto said explaining how making a kaiju capsule worked
"Sounds like you plan to make a collection" Menma said
"Call it what you want, I think of it like souvenirs. things to look back on the adventures." Naruto said before pointing at the Gigan capsule "The day I first became a kaiju fusion and gained my first kaiju" he said before pointing to the Gudon capsule "My first victory as a Ultraman" he said before looking at Isobu's capsule "And a reminder of a friend" he said, Kushina smiled at this.
"Sounds like you want to look back the past now and again." Mito said as she looked at the various different capsules, though Naruto had a look saying that he wanted to ask something, and he opened the cabinet and took out a blank capsule.
"Airgu, is it true that there's only one Shining Ultraman Zero capsule?" Naruto asked as he held the blank capsule.
"Yes, master. It's still in Ultraman Hikari's lab under lockvolt and key." Airgu answered.
"Would it be possible to recreate it?" Naruto continued, though his family were just listening to their conversation.
"Yes, though you'd need the Strong-Corona Zero and the Luna-Miracle Zero capsules to recreate it." Airgu answered, Naruto then looked through the cabinet and found the mentioned capsules.
"You have all this tech and yet can't make a sword?" Menma said
"With this stuff around does it look like I know how to make one?" Naruto asked gesturing to the equipment around them
"Well I could teach you or even make you one" Kushina said wanting him to learn the Uzumaki's way of the sword
"What's this giant machine do?" Mito asked looking at the largest machine in the room
"That's what makes the capsules" Naruto said, this got their attention.
"Really, that's where they're made in?" Menma asked, Naruto nodded his head.
"Yep, this machined takes whatever Ultra DNA we can provide and with a blank capsule becomes a brand new Ultra capsule, or you can take tow capsules with a blank one and combine the DNA already in them to create a form they use, like so." Naruto said.
Before walking over to the machine and pressed a few buttons causing three panels to open, he puts the Strong-Corona Zero in the right slot and puts the Luna-Miracle Zero in the left, before putting the blank capsule in the middle slot. Naruto pressed a few buttons causing the panels to close, before started the processes; they can see on the right side the red-n-gold energy through a see through tube flowing towards the middle, on the left side a blue-n-violet energy can be seen through the same type of tube flowing towards the middle as well. The middle started to glow a very bright gold-n-silver color before the machine made a beeping sound indicating that the process is complete. Naruto pressed a button causing the energy flow to stop all together, he then pressed some buttons causing the panels to open again. Naruto then walked over and collected the capsules before turning around and presenting a golden capsule with the picture of Shining Ultraman Zero.
"And viola, a new capsule is made." Naruto said, causing Kushina, Mito, and Menma to stare in awe of what they just seen.
"That is so cool" Menma said
"Shiny" Mito said with a laugh as it is the Shining Ultraman Zero capsule
Suddenly Scarlet jumped up and took the capsule in her mouth
"No, Scarlet get back here" Naruto said as he chased the fox, Scarlet lead them to a table and put the capsule down next to the Ultraman capsule and sat down next to them while Naruto came to a stop at the table and noticed how Scarlet put the capsules next to each other, He looked at the fox for a moment before understanding what she was trying to tell him.
"Are you telling me that these tow capsules go together?" Naruto asked only to receive a yip in respawns. "Airgu get the training room ready and make sure to monitor what happens in there." Naruto said before grabbing the capsules and walked towards said room.
"Yes, master." Airgu said. "If you three want to watch him train, then please follow this drone." Airgu said before an around drone floated to them before leading them to the observation room.
They arrive to see Naruto standing in the middle of the room, before a hologram of Gudon appeared and stood there as if it was waiting for its opponent, Naruto then started to go through the transformation process he was suddenly covered in a very bright golden light and when it died down everyone in the observation room where either shocked or amazed beyond belief.
Meanwhile in the counsel room
Belial dragged his finger on the table both boredly and slightly annoyed.
"We must take advantage of this, putting the boy into a breeding program would give us the chance to gain more Ultras." Danzo said.
"And I'm telling you the chances are shoot and miss, you can't guarantee they'd have the power." Belial said for the umpteenth time.
"And I'm saying we can't let this chance slip through our fingers." Danzo said.
"Enough!" Hiruzen shouted, getting everyone's attention. "Danzo, as it stands from the facts Belial has provided and knowing you're old habits, I'm siding with Belial on this one. Who ells agrees?" Hiruzen finished, everyone's hands shot up.
"Grr fine, but now we reach the matter of how to tell the public." Danzo asked.
Everyone Started to ponder how they'll do just that, though Belial seemed to have an idea, as he reverted back into his human form.
"I have an idea on how that can be achieved." Belial said getting everyone's attention.
"How so?" Hiruzen asked him.
"Simple a public announcement and transformation." Belial said, everyone looked at him as if he grown a second head.
"Are you sure that's a good idea?" Shikaku questioned.
"Positive, if they are told that the two of us are Ultramen and demonstrated a transformation at full size, they couldn't refuse the evidence." Belial explained.
"But once word gets out the entire world may know" Shikaku said.
"Do you really want that?" Hiruzen asked.
"What can they possible do to me and Naruto? If they try anything it'll be the last thing they ever do" Belial said.
Everyone had to agree to that statement as it is true, though only one of them would still be stupid enough to try it. After much thought Hiruzen came to a decision.
"Very well, we'll proceed with this idea as it seems to be the best one at the moment." Hiruzen said, before looking at everyone. "Well make the announcement in two hours' time, this meeting is adjourned." Hiruzen finished, everyone nodded as all of them got up and left the room, only Belial and Hiruzen stayed behind.
"Are you sure about this?" Hiruzen asked.
"It would've happened sooner or later" Belial said, before using his shadow style to leave the room.
Meanwhile in the training room
Gudon was thrown onto the ground and got back up and roared in anger at its opponent, only to be hit by a golden beam, making it roar in pain before exploding, the one that defeated it is currently covered in a golden light before in a flash they reverted back to normal revealing Naruto standing int they're place.
Naruto walked into the main room and rejoined his family.
"Bro, that was amazing!" Menma exclaimed.
"I could've used the machine to create a simulation but that's always so much more fun." Naruto said.
"Machine?" Menma asked
Naruto walked over to a panel that had capsule holders in it.
"See if I want to see a potential combo, I load them into the computer and see what it can do and see how it fairs against an enemy I program into the simulation." Naruto said, Kushina nods in understanding.
"But the best way to test the combo is doing it yourself." Kushina stated, Naruto nods in reply. "But doing that transformation must have drained you." Kushina said.
"No need to worry, while he's in the training room it gives out an energy that keeps him from losing any of his own and he's able to transform again after words." Airgu said, everyone but Naruto nods as that made sense.
"I want to try." Menma said as he grabbed the Gigan capsule and an Eleking capsule off the shelf and put them into the machine
They all stared wanting to see what would happen, the screen showed a different language in red before popping out the capsules, Menma stared at them in confusion.
"Um, why didn't it do anything?" Menma asked, only for Naruto to collect the capsules.
"The machine said that their incompatible for a fusion." Naruto said.
"Aww." Menma whined as he was really hopping his choice would
"My turn." Mito said as she grabbed a Gomora capsule and a Zoa Muruchi capsule
When she loaded them in she got the same result, she moaned in disappointment at the result. Naruto and Kushina laughed at this, though Kushina was curious about it and decided to take the Eleking capsule and the Ace killer capsule and put them in. This time instead of red, there's different letters in green as it started a simulation of the fusion in question.
The ground started shaking as a pale purple white tail with black patches with red lines came out of the ground while electricity is coming out of the ground.
"Wrrrrrraeerrrk!" Shrieked a kaiju that is 53 Meters tall in height and double length due to its long tail. Looks like a cross between a tadpole and a dinosaur with some gold armor on it. The Kaiju has pale purple white skin with black patches with red outlines randomly all over its body. The Kaiju has golden armor from the bottom to the top of its body; the calves, the waist front and back, the claws, arms, elbows, shoulders pads with a big spike on each of the pair, including the back of the neck as the whole back has a whole row of armor fins, and finally the head but there is a gap between the back and the waist showing the Kaiju's flesh.
The Kaiju's head is covered completely by a helmet leaving only a pair of black twirling mini fins on the stalks. The helmet has two pairs of side fines at the chin as if they are the Kaiju's beard. The visor looks like a mouth that is opening a little as it flashes a bright yellow for every sound it makes. The most eye catching feature is the Kaiju's left arm as it is both bigger than the right claw and longer, sharper claws which are itching to slash its victims to pieces. Lastly is the chest as it has the same red markings with a purple orb at its center glowing very ominously.
"THUNDER KILLER!!!" A distorted voice called out.
"One's more for attacking, the other for grappling." Naruto said as he typed away showing it attacking.
Thunder Killer was shown to mostly use it's left arm for attacking while using the other to grab, then it shot black arch like disks from its mouth before electrifying its tail and swinging it around.
"Thunder Killer can also absorb beam attacks and shoot them back at the opponent." Naruto said as he demonstrated it by using a Gigan that shot it's red optic laser right at Thunder Killer's chest who absorbed it and shot it back out through its mouth.
"The zapping really comes in handy." Naruto said.
Thunder Killer then vanished as Naruto took the capsules out of the machine, putting them back in the cabinet before thinking of something. He then grabbed the Gomora capsule and the Tyrant capsule and decided to put them in the machine and see what would happen, it then gave the same green words as before, shocking him as he didn't think they'd be compatible for a fusion. Before it could show the kaiju-fusion, Belial appeared, and Naruto paused the simulation.
"Strong Gomorant!STRONG GOMORANT!!!" was heard.
"Strong Gomorant, a vicious kaiju fusion of immense power its main ability is gravity manipulation." Airgu said showing the fusions data to them, even Belial looked as he didn't know of any other Kaiju-Fusion than the five forms that were discovered.
"It seems that you've been busy while I was at the council meeting." Belial said as he looked over the data being presented to them.
"Yep, according to this Kei Fukuide had a Gomora capsule and a Tyrant and yet never used this. If he did maybe he wouldn't lose so much" Naruto said.
"Kei may have been my lost loyal servant but he clearly wasn't a match for Geed" Belial said feeling proud of his son, a look Kushina knows very well. "Well, enough of that. I need to tell you something, Naruto." Belial said.
"What is it?" Naruto asked.
"Uh, should I step out?" Belial asked.
"No, you can stay" Kushina said.
"Alright, anyways it went as we thought during the meeting. However, they want let the public know that the two of us are Ultramen." Belial said, shocking the four in the room.
"Wait, wasn't that a bad idea?" Menma asked.
"Normally yes, however it was bound to happen, so we need to deal with it before it gets out of control." Belial explained, Naruto nodded in understanding knowing as well that it was only a matter of time, however there's one that concerns Naruto.
"But if we do this, than any Seijin'sAlien's hiding here on Elm will most certainly let the Space Garrison know, and they'd waste no time coming here to capture you." Naruto said.
"We are a ways from the land of light, so it'd be a while, but I don't care." Belial
"Why not?" Naruto asked him.
"Yeah, won't they kill you?" Menma asked.
"How can you not be afraid of everyone knowing you're alive?" Mito asked.
"Because… I've been freed from my past at last and I'm willing to face the consequences to make amends." Belial explains, everyone is floored by this and then they instantly understood why.
"Belial-san, are you sure?" Kushina asked, getting his attention.
"If it'll set thing right, then yes." Belial said.
"You are truly a man of honor." Kushina said praising him for not trying to run from his past
"Means something coming from my student's mother." Belial said
"Does this mean we'll me famous?" Menma asked, Belial looked at him for a moment.
"Perhaps one day, Menma." Belial said, though Naruto knows more about the Ultra law and knew what might happen when the time comes.
"But, Belial. Don't you remember what you told me of what may happen if they do come and capture you?!" Naruto exclaims surprising his family at this. "If they do capture you, they'll sentence you to death by overdose from the Plasma Spark!" Naruto finished shocking three that didn't know this before they look at the Dark-Ultra.
"I-Is this true?" Mito asked.
"Yes." Belial said.
"Why?" Kushina asked.
"Because of everything I did to everyone in the past." Belial said before sighing. "Though you'll see why when I transform." Belial said, leaving the three Uzumaki's puzzled at that, as they didn't understand what he meant.
Two hours later the whole Village assembled before the Hokagē building, they all stood there waiting for the announcement that will take place, meanwhile in the Hokagē's office Belial and Naruto are waiting for Hiruzen to arrive so they can get the show on the road. Speaking of which, said man opened the door and walked inside.
"You two ready?" Hiruzen asked.
"Yeah." Belial and Naruto said at the same time, though Naruto is still concerned for his master.
"You don't have to do this.." Naruto said.
"Yeah I do" Belial said before making a gesture to proceed, Hiruzen nodded and walked towards the balcony with the other two in toe.
The crowd quieted down all at once in order to hear what their Kagē has to say, taking a deep breath Hiruzen spoke the words that'll change the world as they know it.
"Last chance." Naruto said to Belial.
"I made up my mind kid, so just deal with it." Belial said.
"People of Konoha! We're gathered here today to talk about the recent sightings of Ultraman Maelstrom!" Hiruzen called out, causing the crowd to mummer for a moment, while those that knew were either nervous or curious of what's going to happen. Belial and Naruto stepped forward in front of the whole village.
Belial raised his dark beta spark as Naruto raised the Maelstrom riser and the two shined causing everyone to cover their eye, then everyone hears a loud thumb behind them and turned around to see the same light that Maelstrom appeared in and a dark ball of energy mixed with some random red electricity. Belial dropped beside him and popped the joints in his neck as he stood at 65 meters, there are a mixture of different feeling among the people as they vary from shock to fear for different reasons.
"Hi?" Naruto said as he sheepishly waved to them, while Belial stood there in a very calm matter.
They both stood there, waiting for their response to this. It didn't take long for the villagers to go from shocked too cheering and shouting in joy at this, Hiruzen could only smile at this as it what he hoped for when Belial presented the idea. Belial and Naruto sighed in relief glad their reactions were good ones, though Kushina with Menma and Mito now understand what Belial was talking about and the rest of Team-7 now understood more than ever why he was always upset about his past as they take in every detail of his true form. Naruto and Belial glowed as they changed back to normal going back to their places beside Hiruzen, who just nodded before continuing were he left off.
"As all of you can see, Naruto Uzumaki and Belial Yami are Ultramen and thanks to their efforts we now have an alliance with the Hidden Mist after ending the civil war there." Hiruzen said causing the crowd to cheer even louder than before at this, as this meant more allies they can count on in the future.
"See, what were you so worried about?" NarutoNaruto asked.
"I'm always worried about everything kid." Belial said, before Hiruzen dismissed the crowd and said crowd all went back to what they were doing, while the group on the balcony went back inside.
"Now I think we're famous." Menma said with a chuckle, causing both Kushina and Mito to shake their heads in amusement.
"Come on you two, we better go meet up with them." Kushina said, the two siblings nodded in agreement and left to go join Naruto and Belial.
Meanwhile in the Hokagē's office, Hiruzen is currently talking with the now revealed Ultra's of what they can do now that one of two secrets is out.
"Well, I'm glad to see that things have happened as they should, better than when your burden was revealed 12 years ago, Naruto-Kun." Hiruzen said.
"Yeah, though I'm mostly happy to see that they didn't fear Belial's true form. Honestly, I think the village is slowly becoming the ideal village that the First envisioned from the beginning, course we still need to do some 'weeding' as it were." Naruto said, both men in the room understood the way he phrased it and nodded in silent agreement, it was then that Hiruzen remembered that he needed to asked Belial something.
"That's right I almost forgot to ask you how old are you, Belial?" Hiruzen asked as he wasn't given an accurate age, this caused said Ultra to laugh slightly.
"Well, to be honest I'm 160,000 years old." Belial answered, causing the old Kagē's eye's to widen at this.
"My word! Do all Ultramen have this kind of lifespan?" Hiruzen asked, Belial just shrugged his shoulders before replying.
"Well, it's really hard to tell how long we live for to honest." Belial said, Hiruzen nodded and understood this before his eyes narrowed as he thought of something.
"Then that means, Naruto, here also gained that same lifespan?" Hiruzen asked wanting to make sure, Belial nodded in reply.
"It's alright, Hokagē-sama." Naruto said gaining both of their attention. "I knew that there may have been a possibility that I'd gain an extended lifespan as a side effect and excepted it, though I'll have to find a way to explain it to my loved ones." Naruto finished, Hiruzen nodded in understanding for how does one explain that they've suddenly gained an over 100,000 years of extended life.
"Very well, we'll keep this quite for now till such time is needed to reveal it as well, now your both dismissed till I call for you both." Hiruzen said.
"Yes, Hokagē-sama." Both Naruto and Belial said at the same time before they used the shadow style to leave the office.
Meanwhile with Team-7
Sasuke and Sakura can be seen sparing against each other, while Kakashi is supervising them as they continued, though they can't shake the image of Belial's true form.
"I know he said we'd know when we see his Ultra form we'd understand, but I would have never thought that he'd look like that! Though, if that's what happens after being burnt by the Plasma Spark from simply touching it for a brief moment, what would happen if they were exposed for a long period of time?" Kakashi thought as continued to watch his students training, though by the looks of it they seem to be thinking about what happened moments ago as well.
"It was as if I looked at a demon, and yet I couldn't sense any evil within him. For the briefest of moments, I was brought back to that night." Sasuke thought thinking back to the night of the Uchiha massacre.
"I just can't shake that image of those eyes from my mind. They looked like they were burning with magma and rage, and yet there was no evil in them, and I could still remember that dark aura that he expelled." Sakura thought.
"This Riku... is he an Ultraman as well?" The two thought wondering if there was more to what Belial told them, and for that brief moment they decided to stop catching Kakashi's attention.
"What's the matter you two?" Kakashi asked, though he figured it has something to do with Belial.
"We were thinking, could this Riku also be an Ultraman." Sakura said as they were both thinking it.
"If the father is one, then the son probably is as well." Sasuke said, Kakashi puts his right hand on his chin and thought about it for a moment.
"That must be the case, and if his son bested him in actual combat and destroyed him. That says a lot about his potential of which Belial was talking about earlier." Kakashi said, making the other two nod in agreement.
"One thing has been on my mind ever since Belial told us everything." Sasuke said getting Kakashi's attention.
"Oh, and wWhat would that beis it?" Kakashi asked wondering what was Sasuke thinking.
"If Belial could transform whenever he wanted, then why didn't he give Naruto some back up during the Yagura thing? I have the feeling that he's not as in fighting shape as he believes. And did you see how quickly he changed back? I think he may not be able to hold his form for long." Sasuke said.
"Well he did say he used Naruto's chakra and help to create a body for himself, it's possible he's still getting used to his new body." Kakashi said, though Sakura thought differently.
"I don't think that's the issue, Kakashi-sensei." Sakura said getting both of their attentions. "I think Sasuke's right. It may not be the new body that's the problem, but the fact that he hasn't fully recovered from when he turned Naruto into an Ultraman. So that would mean…" Sakura trailed off.
"That he's like Naruto at the moment and he only would have three minutes of life before he would suffer the same fate asof any Ultramen." Kakashi finished as he caught on what they were saying.
This made the trio fill with worry, for if Belial is that weak at the moment then what would happen if was forced to transform if Naruto couldn't handle whatever he's facing and lost? Would Belial just die before he hade the chance to return to his human form, or…? Just then Sasuke remembered something.
"Hold on! Didn't Belial say that Ultramen can merge with a human and make them their host till they're fully recovered?" Sasuke stated, this info reminded the other two.
"Yes." Kakashi said as he remembered that tidbit.
"The more we think, the more questions we get." Sakura stated and they all nodded at this, for Ultramen have more questions than answers.
Meanwhile at the Namikaze Estate
Kushina, Mito, and Menma were waiting on Naruto and Belial's return, though they couldn't say that Belial's Ultra form didn't surprise them to say the least.
"We're home." Naruto said as they walked in.
"And we're glade you're back." Kushina said before looking towards Belial and made a motion to fallow her, which Belial nodded as he knew she would want to talk to him about something.
"Naruto, you hang with your siblings for a while, your mother and I need to talk about something." Belial said, Naruto nodded and joined his siblings while Belial and Kushina left the room and went to the Alpha house where they can talk.
"Uh oh." Naruto said as he didn't know if it was good that his mother wanted to talk to Belial all by herself.
"Should we be worried?" Mito asked.
"Depends on what happens really." Naruto answered.
"Uh oh, is right then." Menma commented as he is now worried about their mother and what she'll do to Belial if he said something she didn't likehim.
"All we can do is pray and hope she doesn't try anything reckless." Naruto said, his siblings nodded in agreement at this.
Meanwhile Belial was sitting his chair while Kushina was sitting another chair that Airgu provided for her, as they sat across from each other. With Kushina giving Belial a stern look while Belial was simply as chill as can be.
"So, what did you want? Because I don't think you asked me to come down here for a date." Belial said, causing Kushina to blush slightly before calming herself.
"I need an honest answer from you, Belial-san." Kushina said, causing Belial to raise an eyebrow.
"And what might that be?" Belial asked, Kushina prepped herself before continuing.
"What made Naruto so special that you'd turn him into and Ultraman?" Kushina questioned rather than asked, Belial sighed as he knew that be what this is about.
"When he showed me his life, and his dream." Belial said. "That kid had been through a life that would shatter a normal person and yet it never diminished the fire within him, when he told me about his dream to change the world and make it so the people could live in peace with the kaiju, I thought he was crazy. But then I saw look in his eyes, an indominable will and warrior's spirit, I could tell that he was going to achieve his dream no matter what stood in his way." Belial said with a smile, Kushina smiled at this.
"He sounds so much like his father, the more I hear about it." Kushina sighed out while still smiling.
"Indeed, I've read everything about that man, and I could tell that he was a once in generation kind of person that you rarely see in this day and age." Belial said
"Well of course, he's my kid after all." Kushina said before laughing
"Has anybody ever told you, you have a cute laugh." Belial said out the blue causing Kushina to stop laughing and start blushing up a storm that she turned as red as her hair causing Belial blush as well as just registered what he said.
"Y-You think so?" Kushina stuttered a bit, causing Belial to scratch the back of his head.
"Y-Yeah, I-I do." Belial stuttered out as he hasn't been in this kind of situation before.
"What brought that up?" Kushina asked as she calmed herself.
"This book I've been reading said that when you notice something nice about a person you should tell them it." Belial said holding up a book, Kushina deadpan at this.
"Really?" Kushina said with a straight face, Belial shrugs before putting said book away.
"I needed a way to know how to socialize and this book was the only thing that could help me in that endeavor." Belial explained, Kushina just shakes her head at this.
"Honestly, you've been around for who knows how many years, and you have a problem socializing." Kushina said with a raised eyebrow.
"Well back when I was, you know, I never really talked to people that weren't my servants." Belial said
"What about when you lived in The Land of Light?" Kushina asked, causing the man to sigh.
"Unfortunately, I was what you humans called a 'lone wolf', and rarely talked with anybody and I was always looked down because of my skills and talents during the time. The only people that would talk to me were Ken and Marie, who are know known as Father of Ultra and Mother of Ultra respectively." Belial answered.
"Well thank you for the compliment." Kushina said as she got up and walked over to him and gave him a kiss on the cheek leaving some lipstick on his cheek and causing his body to glow red.
"Y-Your welcome." Belial said, causing her to laugh a bit.
"You know, I might take up you're offer on a date sometime, just saying." Kushina said before walking out swaying her hips as she does, Belial is left frozen at the sight for he'd never experienced anything like this, even when he lived in the Land of Light!
Meanwhile with Naruto and his siblings.
The siblings were talking among themselves as they were making jokes or recalling some funny moments in their lives, before they noticed their mother returning from whatever she wanted to talk to Belial about, though they all noticed that she seems to be glowing and has this smile that they've seen on Naruto when he's around Hinata.
"What 's with the smile? Did you make out?" Naruto asked Kushina as she walked in, Kushina blushed very brightly as she missed her step before balancing herself.
"Oh, dear Kami… did you, mom?" Mito asked, causing Kushina to start waving her arms franticly.
"N-NO, no, no! Nothing like that at all!" Kushina franticly exclaimed.
"Right." All three sibling drawled out with a deadpan expression as if to say they don't believe her one bit.
"Then why does he have lipstick on his cheek?" Menma asked as Belial came up still having her lipstick on his cheek, causing said duo to blush as they remembered what transpired recently, Belial quickly got ride of the lipstick and straightened up.
"T-That's none of your concern." Belial said, this caused the trio to have viscous grins on their faces, this unnerved both Kushina and Belial as they can tell they're going to be teased for quite some time.
Meanwhile in Kumogakure no Sato.
In the Raikagē's office, in the office chair can be seen a, man has dark skin with a large muscular build, blonde hair combed back, a small moustache and goatee, and looks to be in his late forties. His face has pronounced cheekbones and tear troughs under his eyes, and a prominent crease across his forehead. He has pointed canines and his top lip also has a darker hue than the bottom one. He's wearing a white haori without a shirt underneath and occasionally the traditional Raikagē hat. He also wears a gold belt around his waist with a boar's face engraved in the center, black pants with torn ends, Kumo-nin shin guards, and shinobi sandals. All of these aspects combined give him the appearance of a professional wrestler. This is A, the Yondaime Raikagē.
Standing next to him is a dark-skinned young woman with green eyes, who looks to be in her late twenties. She is wearing a very formal attire consisting of a long-sleeved, high-collared dress shirt and skirt, along with a pair of long earrings and sandals. She wore her light grey hair pulled back into a bun with two bangs that fall on either side of her face. Mabui, the Yondaime Raikagē's assistant.
Currently A is reading a news paper that came from Konoha about something that got Mabui's attention, as A was reading the news article. He came across what got his assistant to give him the newspaper in the first place, it shows a picture of Ultraman Maelstrom and Ultraman Belial and gives a detail account of what they've accomplished so far, and it even gives their true names in human form. Naruto Uzumaki and Belial Yami.
"Do you think we should give them a call?" Mabui asked A.
"Perhaps as we cannot solve this situation by ourselves, but would the boy want to help after what the Kumogakure no Sato Lightning Village did to his mother?" A asked.
"We won't know till we try." Mabui said, causing A to think for a moment before sighing to himself.
"Your right, the past must stay in the past and we must work towards a better future, send in the request for help of the current situation." A ordered, Mabui bows before leaving the office to send the letter in question.
A then looks out the window. "Let's hope the sins of the past Raikagē don't come back to haunt us." He thought.
Back in Konoha
In the Hyūga residence, Hinata can be seen training with her younger sister, Hanabi. As they spared, Hanabi can see that some how her older sister is doing much better than in their previous spars and she even noticed the look of confidence in her eyes. Hinata's hands went around before she slammed a palm strike into Hanabi's chest knocking her over, Hanabi is surprised yet, happy for older sister for whatever happened in the Kirigakure no Sato seemed to have given her more confidence than ever before.
Even Hiashi who is hidden from view is happy to see his eldest daughter doing so well, Hiashi then looked as Neji walked over to him just as Hinata helped Hanabi up
"Lord Hiashi, we received word that a messenger from the land of lightning is coming to the Leaf." Neji said, this caused the man to frown as he the memories of what happened to his family are still fresh in his mind.
"I see. I'll head over the Hokagē's office immediately." Hiashi said before he left the estate.
Hanabi glanced at Hinata remembering what happened the last time people from the Lightning village came to the leaf, though to her surprise Hinata seems to have a very stoic expression on her face before she left the estate as well. Meanwhile, Naruto can be seen at the forge crafting what appears to be a sword with Kushina there to guide him.
"You're a natural." Kushina said impressed by how quickly her son is able to pick up on new skills he's being taught.
"Well I've learned how to make my own brand of kunai and shuriken from books." Naruto said, as continued to craft the weapon in question, he then took it to an anvil and took a hammer before he started to go to town on the blade.
Meanwhile Belial can be seen on the front lawn reading the newspaper, and as he figured they didn't waist time putting them on the front page, as continued to read it he heard the front gate open and closed. He lowered the paper to see who it is, to his surprise it is Hinata and boy did she look upset about something.
"Sup kid. What's up, looking for Naruto? I know you're shinobi, but shouldn't you wait until you're older for that kinda action?" Belial asked, this caused her to blush up a storm before she calmed herself.
"I wish I were here to just spend time with Naruto-kun, but now's not the time for that I'm afraid." Hinata said, this made Belial's expression to turn serious in an instant.
"What happened?" Belial asked.
"It be best to explain to everyone in the house at once." Hinata said, Belal nodded before putting the newspaper down and lead her inside, both Menma and Mito noticed Hinata and would have said something if Belial didn't made the motion to fallow them, which they did.
They fallowed Belial to the forge and see Naruto putting the finishing touches on the sword he's crafting, Kushina noticed them and saw Hinata's expression and knew something is wrong.
"Naruto, we have a guest." Kushina said, causing Naruto to stop what he's doing and turned to see Hinata and see's the expression on her face and this worried him, he put down the blade he was working on and walked over to her.
"What's wrong, Hinata-Chan?" Naruto asked only to receive a hug out of nowhere and for some reason she started to cry into his shoulder.
"There are people coming from the Kumogakure no Sato to talk with the Hokagē." Hinata said as she continued t cry into his shoulder for a few moments as the memory of what happened when she was 3 is still to much for her when it's brought up.
"Yeah so?" Menma asked before getting elbowed by Mito, Naruto narrowed his eyes as he understood what is troubling her and embraced her close to him and rubbed her back to help calm her down.
"It's because the last negotiator tried to kidnap her last time, Menma." Naruto explained briefly, this made the three Uzumaki's eyes to widen before Kushina's turned into rage.
"They dared to do that?!" Kushina exclaimed in pure anger.
"It's also how I lost my uncle. The Raikagē came to apologize saying it was his council that acted on their own, but the damage had been done." Hinata said, now that she's calmer than before thanks to Naruto's help, this caused him to hug her closer to him as he remembered the whole story.
"It's also what caused Neji to have a stick up his ass." Naruto
"I see, this may cause some problems then." Belial said as he realized the issue at hand.
"Yeah, let's hope that it's a true peaceful one, otherwise we face a war against Kumogakure no Sato." Naruto stated, his words made everyone worry for they didn't need that to happen at the moment, even if both Naruto and Belial are Ultramen, the thought of war is never a good thing, and nothing ever comes from itsaid.
Meanwhile in the Hokagē's office, Hiruzen is sitting in his chair while lookingexamining at the people that just arrived from Kumogakure no Sato, and to say he's impressed is an understatement.
The first is a young woman who looks to be around her mid twenties, she has long, straight, blonde, hair bound with taut bandages, dark eyes and she is wearing red lipstick. She is wearing a short-sleeved black and purple blouse and black pants, both of which had a design similar to clouds on them, purple fingerless gloves and a chain of blue beads wound around her left hand. She also wore the standard Kumogakure forehead protector, sandals, and a kunai holster, which was strapped to her right thigh. she also wore bandages around her arms and legs as well as a red belt around her waist. This is Yugito Nii, Jinchūriki of the Nibi no Bakenekoh.
The second is a young woman who look to be in her mid twenties, she is a tall, fair-skinned woman with a curvaceous figure who generally wears a stoic, aloof expression on her face. She has blue eyes and straight, shoulder-length blonde hair cut in an asymmetrical bob style. She wears a very low-cut outfit which displays her sizeable cleavage, with mesh armor underneath, a short skirt and red hand guards, high boots, and what appears to be a modified Kumogakure flak jacket that covers her stomach only, similar to a girdle. She also carries a tantō strapped horizontally to her lower back. This is Samui a, kunoichi from Kumogakure.
The third is a young man who looks to be around 13, is a dark-skinned Kumo-nin with short, spiky, white hair and dark eyes accentuated with eyelashes curving upwards from the corners. He wears a dark outfit consisting of an overlong shirt with a hood, with red bandage hand guards, Kumogakure shin guards, and a black forehead protector along with a Kumogakure flak jacket. He appears to have a thoughtful expression, as though always in deep contemplation and sucking on a lollipop. He also carries a long sword on his back. This is Omoi, a shinobi from Kumogakure.
The last is a young woman who looks to be around 14, is a dark-skinned kunoichi with long spiky red hair and amber eyes. She is flat-chested. She wears a long, short-sleeved dress with frilly edges complete with the Kumogakure flak jacket, two simple yellow earrings, fishnet stockings, thigh-high boots with white soles and a forehead protector which she wears like a bandanna. She also carries a long sword on her back. This is Karui Akimichi, a kunoichi from Kumogakure.
"Let's hope they don't start anything, right bro?" Menma said to Naruto, who wasn't listening to him.
Naruto's focus was on Yugito as he found himself captivated by her; she is quite beautiful he won't deny that. Though he has to get his head in the game and shook his head to clear his thoughts as he listened to what was about to be said. The shinobi from Kumogakure bowed to Hiruzen, who bowed in return.
"Hokagē-Sama, thank you for meeting us on such short notice." Yugito said in very polite tone before bowing in respect and is followed by the rest of her teammates.
"Its not a problem, now what brings you here?" Hiruzen asked, though he has a slight idea.
"We seek Naruto Uzumaki and Belial Yami." Yugito said, this didn't surprise anyone.
"For what reason?" Hiruzen questioned.
"You'd believe we're crazy." Karui said.
"Try me." Hiruzen said.
"Aliens have come and attacked us, saying that we kidnapped their leader." Yugito said, this got Naruto's attention right away.
"That's impossible, every Alien has an ability to avoid such things from happening, so how could they think you somehow have their leader?" Naruto said.
"We don't know, but their general is quite persistent that we have him. But the truth is, we don't. We went as far as to look over the entire village and we didn't find anything that back up the Alien's claim." Yugito answered with full honesty in her voice, then Yugito blinked and blushed slightly as she looked at Naruto and she has to admit that he's quit handsome, before shaking those thoughts from her mind.
"Can you tell us what kind they are?" Belial asked.
"Uh, that's the thing there's three different types of them. One's red, one's blue and another is yellow, and they keep making this obnoxious laughing sound." Omoi explained.
"Sounds like a Ghighi Seijin." Naruto said.
"Sure sound like it." Belial said.
"What are these Ghighi Seijin?" Hiruzen asked wanting to know more about them.
"An alien race that's extremely smart, now there's two types, the three soldier like ones they've seen and the type that is a scientist. The soldier types have the ability to unite and grow, but why are they attacking?" Naruto asked, as an unprovoked attack didn't make any sense, Belial then thought of something.
"What if the General knows where their leader is and has tricked his people into thinking that he's being held by someone ells?" Belial said, Hiruzen thought about it for a moment.
"This sounds like something Danzo would do if given the chance, though it makes sense if stop and think about it." Hiruzen said.
"That would explain the unprovoked attack, though I'm more worried if they either have a Kaiju or a Mech at their disposal." Naruto said.
"We need your help, if this goes on any longer we could be looking at a war with these things." Yugito said.
"Hmm, I can't just say no to a pretty girl that came a long distance." Naruto said with a chuckle, Yugito blushed at being called pretty. "We'll look into this, possibly we can make an alliance between the villages, a true alliance." Naruto finished.
"I think Naruto's not the only one who likes that Yugito." Menma said nudging Mito as they two looked at the look on Hinata's face.
"We'll leave tomorrow, it's getting late and it's a long travel." Naruto said, before they all nodded in agreement, though Karui had something she wanted to ask.
"Got any barbecue in this place?" Karui asked him.
"Definitely, follow me." Naruto said.
"I like him, he's cool." Samui said.
"You like him because you think he's hot." Said Omoi, who then received an elbow to the gut for that remark.
Sometime later Naruto lead them to the barbecue restaurant.
"Hmm, I love barbecue." Karui said taking in the smell of the place before blushing slightly seeing Chōji. "Who's that cutie?" she asked Naruto, who noticed who the is talking about.
"Chōji Akimichi" Naruto
"He looks so plump and huggable, like a big teddy bear." Karui said.
'There must be a god.' Naruto thought as he was beginning to wonder if there was a woman out there that was perfect for Chōji.
"You'll find Karui has different taste in men than most." Yugito said.
"I noticed." Naruto said.
"She's usually a tough girl, but to see her like this-" Omoi was saying until Karui grabbed him by his collar.
"Finish that sentence and you'll be eating food through a straw." Karui said, Omoi just shook his head out of fear as he knew she would make good on that threat.
"Ahem, shall we?" Naruto said as he lead the group to a table were they all took a seat, they all then picked up a menu and looked through it.
As they were brought their barbecue to heat on the table in front of themselves Naruto took notice of Chōji looking over at Karui.
"Can you say soulmate?" Kurama said with a chuckle, causing Naruto to roll his eyes at this though he couldn't argue with that statement.
It took about a few minutes to the group to decide and then order their food, while they waited they started talking about things they did while living in their own village's.
"So, how's it feel being a Ultraman and a Jinchuuriki?" Yugito asked Naruto, who thought about it for a moment.
"How'd you know?" Naruto asked her.
"The tailed beasts inside of us can detect when another is near." Yugito said.
"Should have figured." Naruto muttered. "But to answer your question, I didn't know at first that I'm Jinchuuriki till a few months ago, as for being an Ultraman. It's a rare honor to be one, however it's not all that's it's cracked up to be." Naruto replied.
"How so?" Omoi asked.
"Well for starters my life is limited to three minutes." Naruto said, this shocked them.
"Wait, I though Ultramen didn't have any weaknesses like that?" Karui said in confusion, Naruto sighed for a moment.
"Everyone would think that, but the reality is that if their on a planet that doesn't have enough sun light radiation, then their life is shortened to three minutes, which depends on how much energy they use." Naruto answered.
"Wow." Omoi said.
"Yeah, like I said it's not all that's cracked up to be." Naruto said.
"Makes sense when you think about it." Yugito said.
The lightning shinobi looked at her
"Everything must have its limits or risk it's power running amok and causing nothing but destruction." Yugito said
"It's true, power without limits can create disasters." Naruto said
They all looked as their food was placed on the table, they then started to dig in as they enjoyed their food.
"Man, this is so good." Omoi said as he ate his food.
"I must admit that this is cool." Samui said as she ate.
(Few hours later)
"That was good." Naruto said.
"The hell is Karui?" Omoi said before looking back seeing her chat with Chōji at another table.
"Well, I'll be damned." Naruto said with a fox like smirk, and he wasn't the only one.
"Should have figured she would do that." Yugito said with a cat like smirk.
"I don't believe in destiny at all, but that has to be a destined match." Naruto said.
"The universe works in strange ways." Yugito said.
"Agreed." Samui said.
"Amen." Omoi said.
"Well we should be heading back to our hotel room." Yugito said as the sun was beginning to set, Naruto nodded in understanding.
"Alright, let's get you to you're hotel." Naruto said before standing up, along with the other three.
"OI, Karui! We're leaving!" Samui called out, Karui begrudgingly followed them, and said goodbye to Chōji before she fallowed them.
It didn't take long for them to pay for their meals and left for the hotel, of course it only took them a few minutes to get there.
"Here we are, hope you find you're stay pleasant." Naruto said.
"Thank you." Yugito said.
"It's no problem, anyways good night." Naruto said, before he left for home, Yugito watched as he walked away.
"Take a picture of him, it'll last longer." Omoi said before Yugito punched him back into the room.
"Shut up, Omoi." Yugito said as she shut the door.
Meanwhile Naruto got back to the Namikaze estate and went back to work on the sword he was crafting before with Kushina's supervision. I took about another half hour before he was finished with the blade, currently he's examining the blade to make sure everything is correct.
"Perfect, its more than I ever would have hoped." Naruto said as he finished examining the blade.
"Very good, son." Kushina said, as she also examined the blade.
"I'll be sure to add my own little thing to do it, make it more my style." Naruto said as he gave the blade some test swings.
"That's a good idea son, just be sure that it won't interfere with the blade itself." Kushina said as she watched Naruto give said blade a few more test swings.
"Oh, trust me, I won't. In fact, once I'm done with it, it'll be the most powerful weapon on the face of Elm." Naruto said as he took out a scroll and seal the blade in it for now. "Thanks for teaching me how to make it, mom." Naruto continued before he bowed in thanks.
"You're welcome, so what are you going to call your sword? It must have a name according to tradition." Kushina said as all Uzumaki named their weapons to establish a true bond between the weapon and the wielder that they were made for.
Naruto thought about it for a few moments, for he knew that the sword would need a name and it will have to represent his current standing as an Ultra and a shinobi. Then it hits him, the perfect name that will represent everything.
"I got it! How about, Maelstrom Sword?" Naruto said, causing Kushina to blink at the name.
"Not exactly what I mean by a name but if it's what you want to call it." Kushina said as only the sword wielder could know what they wanted to call their sword.
"I understand why you would think that, but the reason behind calling it Maelstrom is to represent who I am and what I do." Naruto explained, Kushina then gained a look of understanding as it did make sense.
"Okay, I can understand that." Kushina said.
"Well, I'm heading to the Alpha House to get Maelstrom finished and ready for what's to come in the future." Naruto said before he left the forge, while Kushina stood their with a proud smile on her face.
"Looks like he finished it, eh?" Belial said as he walked in.
"Yeah, looked like a kid on Christmas morning." Kushina said chuckling, causing Belial to chuckle as well.
"True, but what's got me interested is that he asked me earlier if he could have a look at my Giga-Battlenizer." Belial said, Kushina raised an eyebrow at this.
"Why would he need to do that?" Kushina questioned, Belial shrugged before replying.
"If I were to hazard a guess, he's looking into upgrading his Battlenizer to hold more Kaiju then just three." Belial said, causing Kushina to remember something.
"He did say that he was looking into looking for a way to also unlock a Kaiju's super form." Kushina said in thought, causing Belial to put his right hand to his chin in thought.
"That's tricky, for the power output needed to handle both of those would cut the amount of Kaiju it can hold to around 40 in order to compensate for the power needed to evolve a kaiju into such a state." Belial said.
"Sounds like Naruto's planning on making a sword like Battlenizer." Kushina said, this caused Belial's eyes to widen as he now understood fully what Naruto been doing this whole time.
"You just hit the nail on the head, Kushina." Belial said, this caused Kushina's to widen as well.
"Then that means that he's currently…"Kushina trailed off, while Belial just smirked and nodded in respawns.
"Exactly." Belial said.
Meanwhile Naruto has Gigan out of the Battlenizer as he prepared it for it's upgrade with Airgu's help, the Battlenizer is sitting in a machined as Naruto maned a computer that has everything set up. Gigan gulped nervously
"Don't be afraid, this won't hurt a bit... I hope." Naruto said, as he made the final preparations, Gigan shook scared when he said, 'I hope'. "Airgu, how is the power regulator?" Naruto questioned.
"Power is optimal, and all safety precautions are ready." Airgu stated as he reviewed the statues oif the machine.
"Okay, now let's cut the link between Gigan and the Battlenizer in 3... 2… 1… now." Naruto said and instantly Gigan felt the connection to the Battlenizer being severed for a moment. "Connection is now cut off, now let's start the machine… now." Naruto finished, and the machine made a sound as it powered up and the Battlenizer can be seen being covered in a golden light.
"Power is stable, and the Battlenizer is taking in the energy without issue." Airgu said as he monitored the power transfer.
Just then Belial, along with rest of Naruto's family come in to see what's going on, Belial looked closely and can only smirk as it appeared that it's working. Everyone looked seeing Naruto doing his work, they watched as the golden light transferred into his sword, is sword and the Battlenizer began floating. Then right before their eyes the Battlenizer changed form, it seemed to gain to horns that pointed upwards and it gained what looks like a circular ring and the bottom seemed to have three buttons on the front side. The Battlenizer and the sword then floated towards each other, the Battlenizer then slammed itself into were the hilt would be and seemed to replace said hilt, the golden light then seized as the newly made weapon floated there, everyone just stood there amazed.
For the Battlenizer hilt the outside edge is colored a dark-orange with the inside a dark-purple and the center ring a blood red, with the buttons in the same color, the blade seemed to gain a darker shade of metal as it floated there. Naruto got up and went around the computer and walked towards the sword, he stood there for a moment before he reached out and took hold of it and examined it.
"Merger complete." Airgu stated, as Naruto finished looking it over as Gigan came over and looked at its new home.
"And its more perfect than I ever thought it would turn out to be." Naruto said with a smirk.
"Now I imagine you can use it in your Ultraman form." Belial said
"Yep, and I've supped up this baby with tons of mods." Naruto said, as he put the sword a way in the storage seal on his person.
"Like what kinda mods?" Menma asked
"Why'd you ask? Now he's going to spend forever explaining what it can do." Mito said not wanting to be down here for so long hearing it even if it would be interesting
"We can talk more later, right now its getting late and I need to get up in the morning for the mission." Naruto said.
"Your right, we need to be ready to head out in the morning." Belial agreed, everyone then went to bed as they know that tomorrow is going to be a long day.
The next morning Naruto and Belial woke up and got ready before having something to eat and left to join Team-7 at their training ground.
"Morning everyone." Naruto greeted, before Sasuke noticed the sword strapped to Naruto's back.
"I see you finally got your sword. When do I get mine?" Sasuke asked him as he believed that a sword could really help him in the future.
"Um, probably at a later point. As interesting as two of us being sword wielders would be, I don't think that you're exactly ready for a sword right now." Naruto said, Sasuke just shrugs as he understood that he needed to train a bit more a sword before he can have one himself.
"Yeah, I can understand that." Sasuke said.
"So, I believe everyone is ready?" Kakashi said with that upside down eye.
"To be honest, I'm not sure how we're going to handle aliens." Sakura said.
"Just fallow me and the kid, and you'll be fine." Belial said.
"Yeah we won't let anything happen to you." Naruto said, Sakura nodded as she knew that it's true.
"We should go meet with the others and head out." Belial said.
"How can you be so chill? This is the same village that tried to kidnap your mother and tried to kidnap Hinata." Sasuke said to Naruto.
"Oh, trust me. I'm still miffed about those facts, and I would have Wrecking Burst their ass's when I first saw them. However, Belial taught me that the past is the past and it must stay that way." Naruto said, this surprised Sasuke for a moment before he nodded in understanding as he went through a similar situation.
"Besides, the action against his mother was done by the previous Raikagē, and the current Raikagē said that the incident with the Leaf happened while he was away, a sneaky action done by his council." Belial
"Can't trust councils anywhere." Naruto said, Sasuke nodded to that.
"Very true." Sasuke said as a certain war hawk comes to mind.
Team 7 met the team from Lightning at the village's gates, were Team-Samui is waiting for them.
"Hope we're not late?" Kakashi said as they approached.
"Not at all, we just got here ourselves." Yugito said.
"Good, now let's not waist any time, shall we?" Kakashi finished
Causing everyone to nod before they started to run at a similar speed before they all jumped on some branches and started to leap at high speeds towards their destination.
