Failure.

The only thing that filled his mind as he waited, now trapped within this shell of what had housed a new rival. He was less than he had been but he was patient, he had waited centuries to be free from the cold, frigid tomb of ice. But with waiting came its own complications, many complications. He should of been dead but he wasn't, instead, he had found himself in his body once more before seeing the start of the universe.

A brilliant display of energy and power, something that he had never seen that made him feel so...joyous. It had hurt him greatly, yes, but he had recovered, growing stronger than ever. Gaining new powers that were beyond what he had ever dreamed of. Then he had begun his journey back to Earth, destroying any planet that stood in his way.

However, when he had reached the planet, it was different, very different. No Gojira, no Mosura, no other Titans. He was alone on this world with nothing to stop him, that made him smile. He quickly attacked the planet and started to reshape it to what he needed, causing entire continents to be flooded, new land masses were revealed.

It was glorious, death and chaos abounded freely!

It wasn't until the day when those named beings tried their best to face him, Titans, as he remembered them calling themselves. These "Titans" were born from the strangest of events, the sky and the earth meeting before they climbed out of the dirt. They were nothing to Gojira, just weaklings that were powerful but not really enough to test his might. They were named and had powers over many points of the planet itself, even using them to cause the sky itself to scream in agony. Then they turn their gaze onto him, attacking him after the sky had screamed.

He didn't care, he battled them down and even tore the youngest in half at the base of one of the largest mountains. They were weaklings, of course, they couldn't even properly harm him. They made tasty morsels however, their energies were delicious and so different. He had feasted on many of them, leaving their bodies with very little to eventually return once more. They kept returning, like they had forgotten what he had done to them.

Over the years, the attacks lessened in virosity but he later learned of the reason behind it. These beings had reproduced and had children, making things turned interesting. The Titan's spawn were more powerful than their parents, even more so, even causing a little war that left mountains in ruins. It didn't matter to him, but when they finished off their elders, the only thing that was left was him.

The eldest six attacked him, but he wasn't intimidated by the display. The only thing that gave him so much frustration was that these beings had smaller forms. They were faster, making it harder to snatch them up in his jaws but the reward was so much more delicious. This conflict raged for centuries before they had another threat attack them, Typhon.

The massive beast was the first creature that he had ever faced that truly matched him, this was not acceptable. He was Alpha, this creton would either bow to him or die. They faced off after Typhon had taken care of the Olympians, facing off against the monstrosity by lifting his wings in an intimidation display. The creature didn't even acknowledge he had even been there, making his blood boil. He caused a massive storm to surge around them, golden bolts of lightning striking the humanoid over and over, pieces of flesh flying everywhere.

That got the brutes attention, causing the thing to charge at him with a roar. He let the monster get in close before blasting him to the ground with his gravity beams, relishing the screams of pain and agony that came from it. He taunted it, blasting it with more bolts of lightning until it got up, trying to grab him with its hands. The beast was able to grab one of his necks, the other arm missed and it was forced to use it to defend himself. The fingers on the hand were made of serpents that tried to bite through his golden armored hide but failed. In retaliation, he bit back, teeth tearing into the brutes neck with ease. Typhon couldn't react as the other heads latched onto wrists, before he started draining the abomination.

The freak grew weaker and weaker, the vampiric bite that held him place was draining him of everything. The beast had a lot of power and strength, but with his arms pinned, it couldn't move. He let go of Typhon, blasting him into the ground before coiling his necks around the brute, biting and draining him of more of his powers. Within minutes, the abomination was whimpering and begging to be let go.

He let go, letting the creature think it was free before a clawed foot slammed into Typhon's face, talons stabbing into his skull as the golden dragon gripped the side of the beast with the other foot. His tails wrapped around Typhon in a crushing grip as he flew into the air, going higher and higher, watching as the beast choked and gasped from the lack of air. He smirked as he flew above the clouds, where Typhon could see the blackness of space with his own eyes before he was dropped.

He watched and roared with glee, slowly following as the powerful being burned in the atmosphere. He heard the impact of the massive body hitting the ground, seeing it as he passed through the clouds themselves. He landed on the barely breathing body, lifting his wings and roaring in triumph. He didn't care what happened to the brute afterwards, he had left to rest and absorb the power increase.

When he had awoken from his slumber, he was met with the creatures that could only be described as lower Titans, or as the little flesh bags called them; dragons. Very few of them could face him in battle. Those that did were foolish, as they would be taught that he was the Alpha, they weren't. Those that bowed were spared until their usefulness was expended. More beings appeared, and he noticed a rising trend in them.

This was until one of them thought it was powerful enough to face him and take the crown, the one that called itself Yamata-no-Orochi. He wasn't going to allow an upstart think he was something that he wasn't. He had flown all the way to the other end of the planet to face this beast, as it had the gall to force him to fly all the way here! He wasn't pleased, causing a powerful storm to erupt around the island that then turned it into a blazing inferno. The dragon appeared and all eight heads roared in challenge, he only snarled in hatred.

The lesser Titan fought more like himself, striking fast and hard. All of its head had a different breath attack, all of them an element of the planet. This was something he hadn't faced before and drove him back, giving ground to the hydra. It pressed its advantage before he took to the air, raining down a barrage of death and pain from the sky. The beast kept deflecting the bolts of lightning or absorbing it and returning it tenfold. He had to fly higher, needing to get space between him and this monster to think.

He had only gotten to a reasonable height before being hit with a wave of water, sending him plummeting back into the earth. The hydra made its way towards him as he slowly got up, wings heavy with water, unable to fly. The thing also had the tenacity to laugh at him!

He struck, all three heads slamming into the head that had been deflecting his lightning, draining it, drawing blood before tearing the head off. He tossed it aside before flaring his wings wide open, roaring as enormous bolts of golden electricity shot out of all his wing tips and tails. The world was lit up with the golden light before he pointed his wings at the beast, the golden ropes of power slammed into the seven headed dragon. It screamed in pain, scales smoking, flesh igniting, the beasts internal systems started to shut down from the pain.

He let out every ounce of energy he had absorbed before it ended, the beast collapsing. He walked up to it and pressed a foot on its chest, feeling the erratic and heavy rising and falling of the thing. He growled before tearing off each head, one by one until only one remained. He roared into the sky, shaking the heavens before taking off back to his nesting grounds.

This was only one of the many that he had faced, draining their power and absorbing it, but it wasn't enough. The creatures were becoming more and more powerful, starting to make him take more and more hits in battle. They were reaching levels to become rivals to himself, something that would not stand. He had started a world-wide bloodbath, tearing them asunder and drained their bodies of everything they possessed. Nothing was left as he cut down everything that opposed his reign.

He ruefully thought back to when it had all gone awry, they had teamed up against him. The beings that call themselves God, Lucifer, the Dragon Kings and the red and white creatures, Albion and Ddraig. He beat the "kings" down before facing the final four, but he was faced with a conundrum. The two Dragon Emperors had been able to get under his guard to attack him, forcing him to use his scales to create a powerful light barrier that stopped the red scaled menace but seemed to not even affect the white one!

He roared, taking to the air before rushing the white scaled dragon, talons slashing across the white body. Blood drawn, turning the once white scales red, he turned and fired off a torrent of gravity beamed, causing Albion to roar in pain. He dived forward and landed on the white dragon, jumping up and down, causing more damage with each crushing landing. He was blasted off by the combined attacks of God and Lucifer, forcing him to take the defensive once more.

Ddraig lept at him, right into the waiting jaws, which started to drain him of his powers. The red scaled brutes struggling started to get weaker and weaker, making him grin evilly before tossing the dragon away. He was ready to turn and blast away the foolish deities before feeling something drive itself into his shoulder, making him roar in pain.

Albion had snuck up behind him, taking advantage of the distraction before attacking. The white pest was also weakening his body and strength with some sort of venom! He viciously attacked, grabbing and tearing Albion off his shoulder, along with a lot of muscles. He blasted the dragon away with his gravity beams as his shoulder regenerated, repairing the damage almost instantly. He snarled, panting as his strength was still leaving his body, he could feel his very being starting to grow weaker.

He growled before roaring, using his depleting strength to summon the most powerful storm that had ever been on the planet. The winds were forcing the four to focus on that instead of him, which was fine with the golden dragon. That was until he was hit with an emerald green fireball, burning his scales and flesh. He paused and looked at the one who had done so, finding Ddraig standing tall, emerald flames burning out the sides of his maw. He roared, letting the storm start raining hell onto them, only to be blasted off his feet by Ddraig!

Slowly standing up, he started to realize what was happening. Albion had pumped him full of his deadly venom, which was making him weaker by the heartbeat to the point his body's natural defenses were of no use to him. Ddraig grinned darkly before unleashing his flames in one powerful attack. Flames that had the power to forcefully burn away the golden dragon's physical body, the pain was similar to what Gojira had done to him but this was a constant blaze of heat! With one final defiant roar, the golden dragons body vanished in a blaze of fire!

Ddraig ended his attack, the storm fading away as the corpse burned. That was until the corpse exploded, the fires turning from emerald green to a bright fiery orange. The soul of the Golden Dragon remained, something that couldn't be touched by those beings that dared to turn his body into ash. The four watched in horrified silence as the flames took on a golden hue, taking the shape of the creature they had just destroyed. Red balls of flame opened on the three heads, glowering at them before the soul glowed and vanished completely from the area. They couldn't feel it, sense it, or see it, the soul had just vanished…
