Issei woke up in his bedroom, body aching and sweat causing his clothing to stick to his skin. He could feel a cool, damp rag on his forehead as he glanced around. It was his room, yes, but he didn't expect Janet to be sitting by his bedside. His [King] smiled before changing the rag on his head, feeling her hand brush his bangs as she did so. It was peaceful, and comfortable. In mere moments, he fell back into the arms of unconsciousness.

Janet Buné felt a weight come off her shoulders as Issei woke up before falling back to sleep. She had been so worried about his health, not to mention that he had been out cold for two whole weeks. Her [Queen] piece had pushed himself to the limit before passing out. His sacred gear, whatever it was, had vanished the moment the golden dust that had once been the stray had been absorbed.

Whatever the sacred gear was, it didn't feel so normal. If she could describe it, she'd say that it felt like something malevolent was watching her. She shuddered at the memory of it, that wasn't a natural thing she had felt at all. But it was Issei's sacred gear, any attempt to remove it could cause Issei to die. However, she would have to train him as it was her duty to do so, unlike a certain redhead devil.

Janet grimaced, just thinking about Rias made her want to punch something. The pampered princess was really just a laughing stock, as she usually had things given to her on a silver platter. She didn't even know the meaning of hardship, she had been put into a pod from the past and flung into the future. Then she had been raised by a Fallen Angel couple that defected from the Grigori. She didn't even know that she was the last living heir to the Buné house until she had turned thirteen!

She pushed those thoughts away as Mrs. Hyoudou opened the door, looking worried.

"How is he doing?" The older woman asked softly, walking over, glancing at her son.

"He woke up a minute ago, but he will still need to rest," Janet said, not wanting to lie to her.

She nodded before pulling Janet into a hug, surprising the devilress from the action. She awkwardly hugged her back, not sure what brought this on. Mrs. Hyoudou let her go before smiling.

"Thank you for staying with him," Issei's mother said, "He had been without friends for years, so this is something that he has needed for a long time. Please continue to be his friend."

Janet nodded, bowing slightly, "I'll do my best, Mrs. Hyoudou."

Sona Sitri felt the wind picked up the day Issei hyoudou returned to the academy, it wasn't a normal storm either. The winds were blowing, the clouds started to gather over Kuoh, darkening ever so slowly. It only grew worse as the day continued, until it finally started to rain. However, things turned south when Janet Buné came running into the office, face pale.

"Sona! Issei was just taken by fallen angels!" The girl gasped out, as Sona's [Queen], Tsubaki Shinra, caught her before she could fall.

Sona stood up, frowning deeply as the rest of the Student council looked at her for instructions. For Fallen angels to openly kidnap a Devil was a bold move but even she could tell that Janet had been ambushed. Her clothing was torn open, her arm was dripping blood from some weapon harming her. Sona nodded before motioning her [Queen] to get the Buné heiress into a chair.

"I'll get him back, Janet. However, you will stay here." She said before the school shook from a golden bolt of lightning striking nearby.

Sona then took her [Queen], [Bishop] and [Knight], feeling the air for the wind and noticed how it was focused over the abandoned church. Sona pointed at the clouds that were swirling above the building.

"He's there."

Her [Knight], Tomoe Meguri, frowned, "Are you sure, Sona?"

Sona nodded, feeling the air turn darker. It was so wrong, the air shouldn't feel like this but it was. But Janet had come to her and she was in no condition to face the Fallen angels herself. The Sitri knew that whatever the Fallen had in store, they would be doing so quickly.

Issei Hyoudou groaned weakly, blood dripping from his mouth as he hung from the basement rafters. His chest was exposed, covered in slash marks from the rogue exorcist sword. It had happened so fast, Janet was walking home with him when he had pushed her out of the way of a light spear. It had gone through his shoulder instead as he grabbed from behind, another spear going through his gut. He had passed out but he heard her screams and that had made his mind even more stormy.

The building shook violently as the exorcist backed off, watching as the slash marks repaired themselves. He grunted before a blue haired woman walked up, looking at him with contempt.

"No reaction, not even his sacred gear appeared." The exorcist grunted, his accent was a thick Russian.

"Well, maybe we should turn it up a notch." The woman sneered, a light formed into a sword in her hand before she slammed it into Issei's heart.

Issei screamed, the construct burned his body even worse than the sword had! He thrashed and bucked but the pain didn't stop. It only grew worse, forcing Issei to close his eyes before the woman cried out. The pain stopped but the aftereffects remained, making him wince as his chest moved.

The exorcist seemed to be shocked, "H-he isn't dead? How?!"

"His sacred gear, I bet…" The woman hissed, holding her limp left arm.

Issei didn't hear her, his mind a mess that swirled faster and faster. Much like the storm had been today, but somehow, he knew that it wasn't normal. It felt like so close but even then, something held him back from knowing what that feeling was. His musings were brought to a halt as something inside him clicked. It made sense, well, sort off but he couldn't believe what he now knew.

He was making the storm.

His mind rebelled at that point as logic stated that he wasn't strong enough to affect the weather to this degree. Heck, he was sure that his powers weren't storm based at all. But the storm...it was focused over the building and wasn't going away anytime soon. He opened his eyes, weakly glancing around. He was alone, but something was going on above him.

Explosions, screams and something else.

He closed his eyes, trying to clear his mind but the vortex in his head only got rougher and swirled faster. He gritted his teeth, not realizing that he was glowing under his skin nor that electricity was arching off his skin onto the floor. The bindings that held him started to smoke as the electrical energy built, before they snapped. He fell, falling onto the floor in a heep, the world around him was blurry.

He groaned, slowly feeling his body move beneath him. It was like a dream, watching through the eyes of another as he slowly stepped up the stairs. The door was open, showing the remains of the chapel. He wanted to shout out, scream, but his body refused to obey as his eyes focused on the woman with blue hair. His right arm grew heavy, the air hummed. Issei could only watch as the world around him turned into pure chaos.

Sona frowned as Tsubaki used her sacred gear, Mirror Ace, to deflect another barrage of light spears back into the ranks of rogue fallen angels and rogue exorcists. Something was coming, but it didn't take long for her to see what it was. The devilress looked over towards the left and saw Issei Hyoudou. What made her uneasy was what she saw.

A glow could be seen from underneath his skin, golden arches of electricity struck the ground around him. His sacred gear was on his right arm, glowing brightly as the storm outside suddenly picked up. The winds roared, tearing at the church walls, lightning crashed closer and closer to the old building. Sona quickly looked at those she had brought.

"Get a shield up!" She shouted over the storm, as her pieces quickly landed around her.

As the shield went up, the world exploded into a cacophony of noise. The church was torn free of the earth, breaking apart in the unearthing cyclone that was surrounding the area. Lightning filled the black clouds, making it glow gold before it came crashing down into the exorcists. The lightning incinerated them the moment it touched.

Sona shook a little bit, this was so wrong. This storm, the lightning, all of it was unnatural and alien. Issei was calmly walking towards the leader of the fallen, the blue haired woman didn't even notice him approach from the storm blocking out any noise. When she did notice, it was too late.

Issei kicked the woman around before leaping forward, right hand finding the woman's throat. Sona and her peerage members all heard the sound of bones creaking and flesh being penetrated, even over the noise of the storm. Blood oozed out of the wounds the gauntleted fingers made, the fallen gasped. She tried in vain to pull the arm off, but Issei didn't budge. Sona saw that the sacred gear started glowing in an organic manner, red light moving from the hand, under the golden metal and into Issei's arm.

The woman struggled harder, but it didn't last long. Her body slowly went limp, her skin turning ash grey and eyes going dark. Issei didn't even flinch or move, not even as the fallen's feathers fell off, her hair turned white and her once beautiful face become sunken and old. When he did drop her corpse, the boy closed his eyes before collapsing himself, the storm stopped immediately. The clouds vanished and the setting sun lite the remains of the church.

Sona felt the pressure return to normal, as did her feelings of wrongness vanish. Motioning for the shield to be dropped, she walked over to the body of Issei, checking his pulse. He felt a powerful beating against her fingers, Issei was alive but unconscious once more. Or at least he was, the boy grabbed her wrist, eyes wide in shock.

"W-where...is Janet?" Issei croaked, his voice weak and dry.

Sona put her free hand on the hand that held her wrist, "She's alright, mister Hyoudou, Janet is in the student council room back at the academy."

He only nodded before whispering, "I-I'm sorry...T-the storm...it was me...I made it."

Sona shook her head, as the three girls that came with her walked up and knelt around him. He was clearly delirious due to his powers, which from what Sona could tell were all electrical base. But it wasn't until Momo Hanakai looked at Sona, a deep frown forming on her lips. Sona followed her [Bishop] piece to a safe distance once the Sitri heiress had Issei talk to her [Queen] piece.

"President...Issei Hyoudou's biology isn't human or even devil anymore," Momo said quietly, making Sona frown.

"What do you mean, "isn't human or devil", Momo?" Sona asked, not sure what her [Bishop] meant.

Momo used her magic to show the results of her medical spell's scan to Sona, the Sitri blinked. Then blinked again, that didn't make any sense, his body was showing to have a more biological similarity to one that would see in creatures that could conduct electricity. However, this scan was showing that Issei was even more so, like he had evolved into an organic conductor of electricity.

"The scan showed that his skin has small amounts of gold in it. Also, his insides have changes to have some sort of electro-receptor molecular biology. This isn't normal, President, this is more Loup Garou's field of expertise. But, Issei shouldn't even be able to have this biology at all!"

Sona glanced over at Issei, who had his head on his fellow [Queen's] thighs. Tsubaki was speaking softly to him as Sona could only think that something was really wrong…
