Sona had made the decision to move both Janet and Issei to the medical wing of her family home, as the nurse's office in the academy was ill stocked for anything that would require a more in depth look. Of course, it also meant having the pull Loup Garou away from his family but this was serious. Of course, the son of famous parents, a Witch and a Werewolf, was also gaining his degree in cellular biology, molecular biology and everything that fit into biology itself. Sona suspected it was to help find cures to not only human bases diseases but magical ones as well.
Of course, the college aged [Rook] of very little words appeared from the magic circle embossed with the Sitri house symbol. Standing before her, Loup looked down and waited silently for his instructions from her. The Sitri heiress sighed and lead him to where Issei Hyoudou was, in a secluded observatory room.
Loup spoke up, his voice soft, "What do I need to do, Sona?"
Sona looked at him before she said, "Momo's magic found something disturbing about Heiress Buné [Queen] piece, something that was out of her expertise. Since you are my only on call guru on nearly all things biological, I need you to look into this."
Loup nodded before heading off to get himself ready, Sona looked at Issei once more. The boy was sleeping on the bed, his medical readings being done on a screen above his head. She may not have the expertise like her [Rook] did but she knew that this was not something normal. Logically, Issei's biology would have changed from human to Devil when he became the [Queen] piece. That was not so, making Sona start feeling unsettled by all of this.
Janet Buné felt like time was slowly trudging on, making her feel anxious. Across from her, Sona's [Queen] sipped some herbal tea, eyes closed. Tsubaki Shinra had been the one to stay by her side while Sona had gotten Issei to the medical wing, even having Janet sleep for a couple hours. With the heiress was thankful for the [Queen's] diligence, she was starting to become annoyed at the constant blocking. She wasn't a child!
She was about to get up and leave when the doors to the room opened, revealing Sona standing there. Janet could tell the Sitri heiress was unsettled by something, but she couldn't get anything off her body language other than that. Sona then motioned Janet to follow her before turning away, Janet had to run after Sona to catch up due to the girl speed walking.
"Sona, what's going on? I'm getting sick of being left in the dark like some innocent child!" Janet groused, her frustration finally rearing its head.
Sona glanced at her before pushing her glasses up her nose, "Janet, I'm sorry for what you may have thought was leaving you in the dark. But that wasn't it,"
"Then what was the intention?!" She hissed, eyes flaring with power.
"Issei's biology isn't human or devil, Janet," Sona calmly said, pushing open the door to the observation room that looked into where Issei lay sleeping, "Its changed into something bio-electrical in nature."
Janet frowned, not really sure what the girl was talking about now. Bio-electrical?
"It means," Sona continued, "He has become a living electrical conductor."
Janet looked from Issei, Sona and back again before asking, "What? So he's like some human electric eel?"
"No," Sona shook her head, "if he was like that, all he could do was to make a powerful static shock to stun his enemies if they got way to close."
"Then spit it out, Sona! Tell me so I understand!"
Sona nodded before motioning Janet to sit, having pulled up a chair and sat in hers. The Sitri Heiress was quiet before a few moments before finally speaking.
"Janet, you and Issei have been here for nearly thirty-six hours and in that time, my [Rook] has been working on getting a good explanation as to why Issei's biology has changed. I even had to call in a favor from my sister to have Lord Ajuka Beelzebub come down and help my [Rook] in the last ten hours." She started.
"Wait, Lord Beelzebub is here?!" Janet whispered, eyes wide, having only met the green haired leader once when she had reclaimed her position as the Buné heiress.
"Yes, he is," Sona gave Janet a look that silenced her, "as I was trying to explain, your [Queen's] body had been altered to something that unnatural to the worlds we belong to. His skin cells have trace amounts of gold in them, allowing for bio-electrical currents to easily move throughout his body. All of his cells have changed to a electro-receptor molecular biology, which is how that storm was caused. I didn't want to believe it at first but Issei unknowingly created that storm, he tore open the stratosphere with the thunder and lightning."
Janet blinked and looked at the peaceful face of Issei, not really believing it at all.
"That's not all," Sona said sourly, making Janet look back at her, "Lord Beelzebub has found that the changes also caused some more disturbing effects. I saw one of them personally, Issei have something similar to a vampire that allows him to drain the life force and energy from any being and add it to his own. But his tendons have become hyper-tensile, making him stronger and faster than what a [Knight] or a [Rook] can be."
"Sona, why am I getting the feeling that I'm not going to like this next part?" Janet said quietly.
Sona was silent before she looked into Janet's eyes, holding her gaze as she said, "Lord Beelzebub wants him to be terminated immediately."
Janet's blood ran cold, "What?"
"Lord Beelzebub wants Issei Hyoudou terminated immediately, Janet," Sona said, "he found something that has made the logical leader of the Devils show fear, something that I don't want to see again. Whatever it was, he has gone to talk with the other Maou over his fate…"
Janet could only slump in her chair at this, her world crashing down around her.
Elsewhere in the underworld, Serafall Leviathan was sitting at the table where the Four Great Satans held their weekly meetings. The elder sister of Sona Sitri was not really sure why they had been called in by Ajuka of all people, since he rarely did so except for those super rare occasions. They had only held there weekly meeting yesterday but when Ajuka called them in, Serafall had to find out what was going on.
Across from her sat Falbium Asmodeus, head of the Military and all around lazy devil. Completely bald with the only hair being his very fashionable goatee, the Maou was clearly annoyed at being called in out of the normal weekly schedule. Serafall didn't mind his laziness but even she knew that being over all the military was work that Falbium did.
The two didn't have to wait for long before Sirzech Lucifer came in with Ajuka Beelzebub. The elder brother of Rias Gremory looked concerned but took his seat as Ajuka found his, waving his hand across the table. This caused several magic circles to appear and neatly deposit three copies of the same file in front of the other three.
"Ajuka, why have you called us here?" Falbium asked, looking at the green haired devil.
"Because I may have found something that threatens the human world and the supernatural worlds," Ajuka said, his voice shook a little, making the three frown in unison.
"Ajuka, you might want to elaborate further." Sirzech said, clearly in serious mode on this one.
That also meant Serafall had to be serious on this as well, not the fun loving and lively magical Levi-tan.
"I was called in by Serafall Leviathan only ten hours ago for Heiress Janet Buné's [Queen] piece. Heiress Sona Sitri's [Rook] had been studying, under orders of aid, to find out about the [Queen's] biology." Ajuka started explaining.
Serafall tuned him out for a lot of it, looking through the file that had been placed before her. She read over it, frowning at the oddities found about the young boy. However, her attention came back when Ajuka was finishing up.
"...The boy's sacred gear, I theorize, is the reason behind this drastic change in his body. The sacred gear isn't even normal, and it houses something that caused me to feel fear. Fear that was older than any of us, something that has been here from the beginning. However, I have come to the conclusion that the [Queen] piece of Heiress Buné must be terminated before whatever that has caused this change to occur to cause more harm than good."
Serafall was on her feet, hands slamming on the table, making the men jump in surprise. Serafall glowered at Ajuka, eyes narrowed, her power could be seen by the three. Somethings she was ok with, but this was not one of them. Killing an innocent for something that could happen was pushing the line for her.
"No, Ajuka, I won't let you kill an innocent boy!" She snapped.
"Serafall," He started to say, "this isn't natural-"
"DO I LOOK LIKE I CARE, AJUKA?!" She shouted, before forcefully calming herself, retaking her seat, "If you're that fearful of him, I'll take him and Heiress Buné to train them personally. They will be my responsibility, not yours. I will not let us kill off an innocent because we are fearful of what could happen, if we did that, we'd be no better than the Old Satan Faction! We fought against that type of rule so we wouldn't have to follow in their footsteps, or have you forgotten, Ajuka?"
Sirzech stood and raised his hands in a placating manner, "Ajuka, Serafall, while Ajuka has made several solid points, Serafall is right. We aren't paranoid, power hungry leaders...We don't want to become like them. If we do it once, then we'll start down a path we all don't want to start on."
Falbium nodded, "I agree with Serafall on this, Ajuka. You may be smart, but you most of your emotional capacity was dropped in favor of being smarter. I'm not saying your emotionless, but you've not been in touch with your emotions for a very long time. Not since you've became Lord Beelzebub…"
Ajuka seemed to deflate, taking his seat and looking at the three, "I see...you may be correct on this. But if my fears do happen?"
Serafall was about to answer before Fulbium beat her to it, "We prep for it, however, the sooner we train the boy and find out his powers, the more we can be prepared for. Not only that, you seem to have forgotten that the boy as regenerative properties that are similar to those in the American Marvel comics...I believe the name was Deadpool? Yeah, him, he was able to regenerate from what should of been wounds that would have killed any normal human but he regenerated it all. This boy sounds like he has that same power but on steroids. So it's better to keep it in one place in case the sacred gear jumps to another person."
Serafall nodded before looking at Sirzech, as he'll have the final say on this.
"Then it is decided...Issei Hyoudou and Janet Buné will be trained by Serafall Leviathan and have charge over them. We will also prepare in case the future that Ajuka has theorized may come to pass...unless we have any other details to add, I believe we are done here." He said after a moment of thought.
Serafall stood, bowing to her fellow Maou before leaving. She was going to have her hands full with the boy and the Buné Heiress!
