We are still in Mikasa's flashback. Thank yall for reading. I know im a few years late but during this quarantine, I have told myself that I am going to try and finish this story. Specially because I love this ship so much, and I loved writing it. And also the last season of attack on titan is upon us *ugly cries*. I realize this is a long time coming so I hope y'all do enjoy and review.

Months of preparations had led the corps to this, Erwin would finally get to make his ambitions a reality. Leading the corps outside into wall Maria, with the intention of getting answers for the questions that humanity had yet to resolve. This could make Commander Erwin one of the most impactful leaders to date. However the mission wouldn't be an easy feat, it was expected to have a high mortality rate, but everybody had resigned themselves to whatever their fate might be. This expedition could be an enormous victory, or it could be another loss to the titans. Despite it all the plans were set in motion and nobody knew what was to come next.

To Mikasa's surprise, her Captain somehow scored them permission for a day off. During this time headquarters was in absolute chaos mode, people were working themselves to bone. A day off around this time, was basically unheard of for anybody, much less a captain. However Mikasa figured Levi had been given special privileges due to his pivotal role in the Corps, it would be foolish to think he was just a mere captain. Regardless of how, he had gotten it approved, and Mikasa would be damned if anybody took away any time she could spend with her beloved Heichou.

"Am I going to have to carry you?" Levi's voice mocked her as she hiked up the trail to meet him.

"Old man, you're the one that is going to need me to carry you"

"Is that so?" His hands reached out to help her up. "If I remember correctly, I did not seem like an old man last night."

Mikasa turned around with an evil grin, "You have to still be useful in someway I suppose."

He smirked, "I'm glad I could be of service."

They both continued along the path, however Mikasa found herself more intrigued by all the commotion that was occurring around her. Despite living so close to the forrest Mikasa, this was the first time she had taken the time to admire the beauty around her. The trees were chirping with birds and sun gleamed inside only through the openings of leaves. Flowers bloomed on floor, and the smell of the earth filled her senses. Something about this time in forrest made her reassess the previous times she had ventured off with Sasha and Armin. It should have been a crime to miss all of the wonders this scenery had to offer. Exploring with her beloved Levi could have been the factor that made everything seem more beautiful. They were finally free to be out in the open instead of hiding behind closed doors, like some terrible secret. She could love him and tease him out in the open.

"Its this way," Even the ever so grouchy Levi seemed to have lightened up. He moved so fast, through the forrest but yet would always come back to get her. Frankly Mikasa could have sped up, probably even beaten him actually, but she wanted to drink in these moments with him. She was in no hurry whatsoever because all she wanted from today was to spend time with her boyfriend. She would never get over the beautiful word, a word that she never thought would refer to Levi. He was her's and every time she thought about it a shot glee would pump through her veins.

These last few weeks all her thoughts were aimed at keeping a positive outlook on life, and on the future. Fright and worry would not tilt the odds in her favor, but could cost her time. Time that she might never get a chance to make up. It was nice to be away from the pressures of her life. It was nice to have Levi all to herself. Without the wor

No matter how much time she would spend with her paramour, it never seemed to be enough. Sure he was an asshole sometimes, and sometimes she would get so mad at him that she couldn't even look at him. Yet the love that developed through time, only helped to further her obsession with the man. This scared her, because she had already decided the people she would love. Sure people like Sasha and Connie became part of this group, through time. Even Jean to some extent. She couldn't help but love them because they too shared too many hardships. Hardships that only the exposure to pain, and suffering would bring. They had lost too many friends, too much family Mikasa could not help but allow them inside. However after them, she refused to allow anybody else. Little did she know that her Captain would take her heart captive. Her filtration of others would not stand against him, because he somehow wiggled his way through all her walls and was now an integral part of her life.

"Darling can you please try to keep up?" A slight tone of irritation present in his voice.

"You act like a I'm a mile behind," Mikasa retorted quickening her pace towards him. She was only a few steps behind, she knew she would have no problem catching up if need be.

"I know you can go faster," he walked back to her. Before she could respond, his hands reached back behind her. Taking hold of her of her body and pulling her up.

"No-" she tried protest but he was not listening. "Levi let me down." After a few steps she finally gave up, knowing that his grip would not give no matter how much she babbled. He carried her like she weighed nothing.

"You always give in," he smirked. A rush of annoyance flowed through her mind, giving her a desire to wipe that smile off his face. But his words were nothing but the truth. She did give in, specially when he insisted.

"Whats the point of fighting you," she sighed. "I know you won't stop till you get your way."

"You've got me pretty figured out haven't you?"

"Lets just say that I hated you, and somehow you made me love you. Safe to say that the drastic change gave me some time to psychoanalyze you." she said sarcastically. She figured if she would somewhat complement him, she should also use the opportunity to tease him as well.

"Made you love me!" he said in disbelief. "Isn't it a bit unfair, you fell in love with me darling. I did not make you do a thing." He chuckled. "It wasn't me who showed up at my office that night, and decided to plant a big fat kiss on your mouth now was it?"

Embarrassment suddenly hit her, she couldn't even retort his statement because it was true. Her cheeks reddened and her ears were hot. How dare he.

"Mikasa, I was kidding." He looked down at her, his blue eyes comforting her. "You weren't the only one wanting more, specially after that night." He looked onward but a smile crept on face. "Not to mention…" Out of nowhere he bursted out laughing. The cackle filling the forrest, but he was still keeping a steady pace.

"What are you laughing about?" Mikasa's curiosity had to be settled, plus he was laughing so hard that she thought he would drop her at any moment. "Are you laughing at me?"

"Do you remember that night," he paused catching his breath. "After Hanji spilt the blood samples, when half the cadets had to be in quarantine." It had been sometime since she had thought about that, she couldn't help but giggle. A giggle that became full on uncontrolled laughter, much like her captain's. He couldn't take it anymore and set her down so that he wouldn't drop her.

Said night was one of the most embarrassing nights of Mikasa's entire life. It was a pretty normal day up until dinner. Most of the soldiers were at the cafeteria, eating and socializing. However Hanji had just gathered some blood samples from some captured titans, as well as blood from Eren. Nobody knew why the blood samples had to be transported through the cafeteria, but honestly when it came to Hanji nobody knew what to expect. The blood samples, fell and splattered all over the room. It was chaos, because not only were the samples blood from titans, Hanji confessed that they contained an experimental serum and frankly she did not know what the effects could be.

All of the soldiers that had been inside of the cafeteria, had to be placed in quarantine. Nobody was allowed to enter the castle until it was basically proven that they had been unaffected by their exposure. Levi and Mikasa were some of the few that had not attended dinner, because they had been busy fucking in his office. To this day, Levi still liked to proclaim that it was his actions that avoided them a night cramped in the cafeteria. Due to their absence, they were allowed to go back to the castle, where they proceeded to go to Mikasa's room to continue their important affairs.

Mikasa's room was practically the only place they had not yet stamped with their lovemaking. It was ironic because at that point they were so careful when it came to being seen by others. So Mikasa did not allow him inside of her room for fear that Sasha would find out. Sasha was one of her closest friends, as well as her roommate; but even she did not know about her escapades with Heichou. Naturally all of their previous cautions went out the window the moment they heard that most soldiers would placed in quarantine. Was it insensitive for them to be careless, specially due to the situation that their comrades face? Yes, yes it was. However when else would they get the opportunity. Midway through their careless sex, they heard the door open. Both of them looked up to find, Sasha's innocent eyes come face to face with their dirty little secret.

Mikasa laughter could not be contained, "Sasha, and her poor eyes. I still can see her face the moment she opened the door" she tried to hold herself up but her legs were giving out under her. Her arms reached out for a tree as she rode the wave of laughter, that would let her stand.

"I remember trying to grab a pillow to cover my dick." Levi leaned against a tree.

"Levi she saw me naked getting rammed ferociously by my superior. At least you didn't have to go back and face her everyday."

"Thankfully I did not have to go through that." He wiped the tear before continuing. "I had to bribe her with extra meal stamps, for three months. All so that she wouldn't say a word."

"Wait are you serious?" Mikasa became a bit more serious but still chuckling. "She agreed to not say anything, basically the day she found out. I made sure of that." The threats she made to her roommate were as serious as they could be. Sasha swore up and down that she would never mention a word to another soul. As stressful it was, Mikasa had to admit that it was nice to not have to keep such a big secret all to herself. She could finally talk to somebody else, and her relationship with Sasha only improved.

"So why was I giving her meal stamps?" Realization finally settling in the Captain's face. "Smart girl…" The lengths potato girl would through to ensure food.
