Sui Feng and Yoruichi were just finishing a light workout when a Jigokuchō flew between then from Yoruichi Shiba and announced, Mom, Mama meet me at the old training grounds!... come alone…
"Ichigo Were going for a walk!" Yoruichi called ask the 2 wives of Ichigo Shiba walked out.
Normally the walk would have taken seconds, but Sui Feng was 3 months pregnant and it used up most of her energy reserves, but they reached Sōkyoku Hill 30 minutes later.
"I'm sure she has a good reason for dragging us out here Lynn!" Yoruichi said as both women dematerialized reappearing just inside the cave that was halfway up the shear face.
As they stepped into the cave Yoruichi Shiba looked at her mother and mama saying, "Good your both here!"
Both-of-the seasoned officers noticed the sense of urgency to her voice, "Yoruichi" her mother said, "Why did you call us out here!"
"I've come into some information" Yoruichi Shiba started saying, "Marechiyo Ōmaeda had an illegitimate child, a son!"
"He would be about my age!" Yoruichi Shiba said, "I was reading an old report on 2nd Squads budgets and there was always $5000 missing from the monthly budgets!"
"Ōmaeda Embezzled It and funneled it to his son!" Sui Feng said with an undertone of anger.
Sui Feng scowled at the memory of constantly having to petition Captain Commander for overage allowances.
"It gets worse!" Yoruichi Shiba said noticing her face, "Yasuuji's last mission was as set up, Takara Ōmaeda killed him!"
Only then did her mother realize why she called them out to a place that shouldn't exist as she said, "You're not sure who you can trust!"
"That's only the first problem mom!" Yoruichi Shiba said as Sui Feng came in with, "As of right now everything is unofficial!"
"I don't know if Takara Ōmaeda has moles in the 2nd, and if I go through the 22nd dad will go on a crusade!"
"Your forgetting one thing daughter of mine!" Yoruichi said looking at her saying, "You're the member of the Royal Family!"
"Yes, I know!" Yoruichi Shiba said looking at her mother, only to have Sui Feng say, "You have Zero at your disposal..."
Yoruichi Shihōin-Shiba shook head in disbelief and said, "You're the heir to 2 noble houses one of which can trace it's linage back to The Soul King himself the leader of Zero would have no choice but to respond!"
Yoruichi Shiba's mouth opened and then closed as she turned this new information over in her mind asking, "So, if I send a Jigokuchō to Ichibē Hyōsube asking for admittance, he will grant it!"
"Exactly" Yoruichi Shihōin replied with a smirk
Taking out a very-special Jigokuchō Yoruichi Shiba whispers to it and sends it a flight!
A short time later In the Soul King Palace, Ichibē Hyōsube was listening to a message from Yoruichi Shiba.
Dear Ichibē Hyōsube I must speak with you on an urgent matter

Ichibe prepared to leave, it was going to take him time to traverse the distance from the Royal realm to The Soul Society on foot, so he had to get started.
As they walked to the exit Yoruichi Shiba, said, "Mom, Mama… I want you to look at a potential recruit to the 2nd!"
That got both Sui Feng and Yoruichi's attention!
"She has a better combat sense then most Captain's!"
Her mother knew exactly who Yoruichi Shiba was referring to as she said, "Goes by the name Tatsuki!"
"Yes!" Lieutenant Yoruichi Shiba said, "I take it you know her!"
Sui Feng said, "We both did!"
Taking a breath Yoruichi said, "She was ranked as a 5th degree blackbelt in Shorinji Kenpo, before joining the military she became part of Japan's The Special Forces Group!"
Looking at her daughter Yoruichi said, "The Special Forces Group is the human equivalent of the 22nd!"
No wonder she is so good! Yoruichi Shiba thought, saying, "So… what your telling me is give her a guaranteed position in the 2nd!"
"Yes" Both women said with a chuckle.
No sooner had their feet touched the ground did Yoruichi find a Jigokuchō waiting for her from the Hakuda instructor at The Shin'ō Academy.
Yoruichi Shihōin please come to The Shin'ō Academy to meet with Tatsuki!
Yoruichi shook her head in amusement.
"Mom?" Yoruichi Shiba stated.
"It seems Ichigo's friend Tatsuki is already more than the Hakuda instructor can handle!" Yoruichi Shihōin stated, "They want me to train her one on one!"
30 minutes later at The Shin'ō Academy Yoruichi Shihōin-Sheba Commander of the 22nd squad stood appraising Tatsuki her husband's one-time friend.
Noticing the number on the back of her Commanders Haori Under her breath Tatsuki said, "The 22nd does exsist"
Taking off the Haori, Yoruichi folded it and placed it on a table close by saying, "Let's see what you've got!
Tatsuki reads Yoruichi noticing her black top and matched pants thinking, No sleaves so nothing for me to grab and the uniform is tailored to the point where it's not baggy so no advantage there. Even the arm coverings serve a purpose, I think!
"If you're trying to find a weakness Tatsuki … you won't!" Yoruichi said taking a stance and looking across the distance between them
Might as well attack! Tatsuki thought as she went to kick. Yoruichi not only blocked it with her leg but counter attacked with a kick of her own.

OOOFFFF, Tatsuki coughed sucking in air thinking, okay she is no slouch when it comes to fighting... I didn't even see her move!
Switching to hands Tatsuki launched a series of strikes all of them were ether dodged or blocked by Yoruichi.
She's going easy on me! Tatsuki thought saying, "No more holding back!"
"Tatsuki, if I were to fight you at full strength all out you would be dead!" Yoruichi told her, "Don't sell yourself short, your holding your own against the former Captain of 2nd Squad, and a Commander of the 22nd squad!"
Tatsuki didn't see Yoruichi's punch but she felt her ribs start to ache and to the face cringed as she tried to recover
Holding her side Tatsuki was taking a ragged breath as she felt her bruised ribs as they expanded.
Okay, I have to stop taking her lightly! Tatsuki thought looking at her, Yoruichi said, "That was a love tap Tatsuki!"
"Sit" Yoruichi told her as she started working on her ribs with Kidō.
Taking a ragged breath and flinching at the sharp pain in her side Tatsuki said, "If this is the result of a love tap!"
"Tatsuki even though I was fighting you at human strength you were holding your own against a member of The 22nd"
Throwing on her Haori Yoruichi said, "Tatsuki I'm over 500 years old!"
Looking Tatsuki in the eye Yoruichi said, "Training begins tomorrow!"
"Take this note to the head of Shin'ō Academy!" Yoruichi said telling Tatsuki, "The last 2 Shinigami I took as an apprentice, one is my commanding officer, the other is lieutenant at the 10th!"

"RSFOD!" Tatsuki asks.
"Royal Special Forces Operational Detachment!" Yoruichi said, "Before you ask, we don't recruit from the academy!"
"Then How!" Tatsuki asks
"We recruit from active members of Gotei 13" Yoruichi commented!
30 minutes later The Director of the Academy took the folded paper in hand the first thing Tatsuki noticed was He's terrified… why!
Having read it he said, "You're to appear at Sōkyoku Hill first thing in the morning Commander Sheba will oversee your training from now on!"
Later that day Ichibē Hyōsube made his way to Shiba Manor where he was met by Lieutenant Yoruichi Shiba.
As he entered, he found Lieutenant Yoruichi Shiba waiting for him, "I didn't expect you to come to me!"
Almost as an afterthought she said, "They took him on a picnic!"
The Captain of Zero squad said, "You did say it was urgent, and your mother and Sui Feng, did vouch for you, and I've never known them to over exaggerate!"
Giving the Captain of Zero squad a nod Yoruichi said, "Last week one of my informants approached me with something!"
Taking a breath Yoruichi Shiba said, "Grandpa Yasuuji's last mission was a set-up, it was actually a successful assassination!"
Looking Captain Ichibē Hyōsube in the eyes she said, "Marechiyo Ōmaeda had an illegitimate child, a son, from what I've been able to find out he force himself on a woman 20 years ago (The Ōmaeda Clan) covered it up but!"
"Does your father know!" Ichibē asks.
"No" Yoruichi Shiba said, "I wanted to talk to you first, dad would go off on a holy crusade!"
The elder captain chuckled saying, "He would at that!"
"Like I told mom, I don't know (If) someone in Gotei 13 is feeding Takara Ōmaeda information!"
"I understand!" Captain Ichibē Hyōsube said, "Lieutenant Shiba, would you like to train with Zero!"
Later that day at The Soul King's Palace, Ichigo Kurosaki arrives for a meeting with Captain Ichibē Hyōsube, however what he had no way of knowing is the meeting was requested by his daughter Yoruichi Shiba and she would be in attendance.
Ichibē gruff willowy voice said, "Good Ichigo you're here… Lieutenant Shiba would you like to begin the briefing."
Ichigo spun around to see her daughter with folder in hand saying, "Dad before you get upset, I went to Captain Hyōsube because I needed an outside neutral opinion!"
Handing her father, the folder she said, "Read this first then we will decide on a course of action, Mom, and Mama already know about it they suggested bringing in Captain Hyōsube."
Pinching the bridge of his nose and in a tired breathy voice Ichigo said, "This file outlines a nightmare… it means Shiba Yasuuji's death was no accident."
Looking at his daughter Ichigo stated, "I'm not happy that you didn't come to me… first, but I'm glad you went to your mother's for advice!"
"The one thing Mom and Mama grilled into me is lack of intel gets you killed" Lieutenant Yoruichi Shiba said, "As soon as I made Lieutenant, I set up a network of informants!"
That news got both Captains attention as Ichigo started putting the pieces together in his mind, she didn't know who to trust!
Recognizing the look on her father's face Yoruichi said, "Your right, I didn't, and I don't, then I remembered. Yasuuji told me"
"What's that?" Ichigo said raising his brow to a speculative arch.
"The Royal Guard are above reproach, if you can't anyone else, trust them." Lieutenant Yoruichi Shiba said, "Mama reminded me of that"
"Captain Hyōsube my answer is yes!" Lieutenant Shiba said.
Giving her a nod, Captain Hyōsube said, "I will see you, where we met then."
"He sees my potential dad!" Yoruichi Shiba said curtly.
