Snow was nice enough, Rosalina thought. It was pretty. You could build things out of it. And the way the snowflakes fell from the sky was absolutely ethereal.

But too much of it was a bad thing. Just like every other nice thing.

Rosalina wasn't a huge fan of snow, really. Not after seeing first-hand the effects of what it can inflict on the unwary.

She thought back to her last visit to Freezy Flake Galaxy. She'd found herself on a tiny planet that housed only a village. A quaint little place with log houses and log fires. A blizzard had blown over while she was there, so she'd taken shelter in one of the houses.

She had watched in horror as the house across from her collected so much snow that the roof caved inward from the weight of it all.

The occupant was unharmed thankfully; just a little shaken up. But the whole thing had rattled Rosalina to her core. Before, she'd always regarded snow as a cute little weather phenomenon. After all, her prior experiences with it were all like that.

But now, she had to treat it with a caution that made her more than a little uncomfortable. It was no different from any other weather - rain, wind, even sunshine. All had their niceties, but all were capable of devastation.

Rosalina wasn't scared of the weather, but she was scared of what the lack of caution could result in for her and her family.
