The three women had planned it perfectly. They had all wanted to give birth to their kingdoms' heirs in the same year. All so their children could be the best of friends and take reign at the same time, just as they were.
As luck would have it, the women were in the birthing room at the same time and within a week. Their children were born. Each two days apart
"To the people of the dark kingdom, our people have been together for centuries. Different groups working in harmony. Our wolves to protect us on the ground, our dragons to protect our skies and our witches to protect all of our people. We would like to announce that we will continue on like this forever. For the heirs of the Mills coven, the Drake clan, and the Swan Wolfpack have been born." Cora proudly announced to their kingdom.
"Welcome Regina Mills, Mallory Drake, and Emma Swan!
"May they succeed in leading us into many more years of peace!" Snow shouted
"And may they reign as one!" Hestia finished.
The people of their kingdom cheered as they held up all three of their girls
"And may they be the best of friends." They said to each other for only their ears as they smiled brightly for the future.

Six years later

"Ruby wait!" Emma laughed as she chased after her cousin in the marketplace
She turned her head, waving to all the adults greeting her as she ran. As she turned her attention to in front of her, she slammed right into a body and landed right on top of them.
"I am so sorry, I wasn- "she started apologizing profusely until she heard familiar giggling.
"Regina!" She smiled brightly at her best friend
"You gotta watch where you're going Emmy" Regina smiled
"I know, but it's more fun to just tackle you" Emma teased and helped her up.
"Regina are you okay?" Another blonde came over and checked her over
"Hey Mallory" Emma smiled
"Em I've told you to call me Mal" she grumbled
"Well, I see you all found each other. How are you, Emma? Where's your mother?" Regina's mother, Cora greeted with a smile
"She's talking with the booth people. Making sure they make the deliveries to the pack"
"Ah well, you girls have fun while your mothers take care of business hmm?" Cora nodded to them and made her way towards Snow.
Emma smiled at the woman and looked back to her best friends. But as soon as she locked eyes with Regina, she froze.
Something flashed in front of her, leaving her light-headed. She blinked and looked at the girl again.
Confused by the reaction, she shook it off and passed it off as running around in the sun too long. She just couldn't explain the tugging in her chest that began spreading throughout her body.
"You okay Em's?" Ruby ran up and placed a hand on the blonde wolf's shoulder.
"Yeah, I'm good. Just knocked into Regina again." she smiled
"I say you are just always aiming for me." Regina crossed her arms with a smile
"I guess we'll never know." Emma shrugged.
Regina playfully growled, causing the girl to yelp and begin running away while laughing
"Come here, Swan!"
And with that, all four girls filled the courtyard with their laughter as they chased after one another.

As the years went on, the girls only got closer. Both the wolf and dragon became protectors of the witch princess. It wasn't only at birth that it was declared that the three would be a whole unit, but it became true with the bond they shared.
Though both dragon and wolf had different ideas and feelings on how they should rule in the future beside the princess. They fought to outdo each other. Teased each other in physical ability, always trying to show which was best. But the princess was always there to balance them out to always have the friendship stay intact.
"I have a surprise for you two come one!" Regina laughed, getting her two blondes to follow.
"Aren't you supposed to be in class 'Gina?" Emma caught up to walk beside her and held out her arm as she always did for the girl, in which Regina always latched onto immediately, and reached out to grab Mals as well to keep both of them close.
"Mother always gives us a choice of what we want to do in the future. She asked the twins if they wanted to rule and if they did, they could arrange something to be able to rule together since they were born at the same time and nobody can remember which is older by time. But Z and Jeffy declined and said they wanted to be protectors. Apart of our Witch army. Mother then asked me if I would want to be future Queen, she said I could still be a part of the Army like you two, but I'd be ruler alongside you. I accepted. She said she has to either find the correct tutors or come up with my lesson plans herself. She said we start by next week." she beamed
"Mother and Father said the same thing. That they'd set up my classes in the training fields with my father and go out on missions with him. I've covered my basics with him, we are just waiting on my armor to be ready. They already knew I wanted to be the leader of the pack like mother and be a knight like father. Your knight and Savior." Emma proudly stated with a smile to Regina
"You'd be co-Queen, being the Alpha of your pack. Not a knight Emma." Mal corrected
"Not to me. I want to be 'Gina's champion and white knight. Regina is my Queen." Emma stated with conviction, earning a soft smile and blush from the brunette.
"Well, she and I can be co-Queens then. We can boss you around." Mal smirked
Emma glared, "I'd only listen to 'Gina."
"What of you Mal? What of your classes?" Regina changed the subject to keep the fight she could feel growing.
"Mother says we'll be sharing classes. The ones of learning the ways of the kingdom. War strategies, as well as fight training. We'll be classmates, all of us." She smiled
"Then I can kick your butt in the field," Emma smirked
"You're on Swan." She nodded.
"So what is this surprise?" Emma questioned
"This." Regina smiled brightly and nodded ahead of them where she could see their stableboy bring out her horse.
As they neared closer and they watched the stableboy put a saddle on, Emma stopped.
"What are we doing?" She asked but she had a feeling she already knew the answer.
"I'm going to teach you to ride Rocinante." Regina smiled
"Oh, Nuh Uh." She shook her head.
"Emma let me teach you!" twelve-year-old Regina giggled, starting to pull her towards the horse
"Gina no!" She planted her feet into the ground to keep her from getting her closer.
"Why are you so scared?" Regina tilted her head
"Do you see how big that thing is? It could crush me or worse it could eat me!" She exclaimed pointing to the beast.
"Emma, Rocinante is not going to eat you" she giggled
"You did not deny the crushing part though"
"Come here my supposed Brave Savior" She reached out and tugged her hand again
"I am your savior" she glared
"Mmk, then how are you going to keep being my savior if you won't get on a horse to get to me in time should I be in trouble?"
"When I finally morph for the first time, I'll be faster than a horse," she argued
"But you still have a year before that happens, what if something happens before then?"
"I can run really fast?" Emma shrugged
"Come on Emma, the horse isn't that scary. We're scarier." Mal scoffed and reached out to touch Rocinante.
But he whinnied suddenly at the quick movement, making Mal scream and jump back.
"It's not that scary." Emma mocked, earning a glare from the girl
"Quit being ridiculous. And don't tease her until you actually touch this animal." Regina rolled her eyes and laughed as she pulled Emma in front of her, wrapping one arm around her waist and guiding her hand with hers up to Rocinante snout.
The first nudge to her hand and she jumped slightly but with the safety, she felt with Regina, she allowed her to guide her hand back and pet him.
She didn't realize when Regina had pulled away to just watch her as her fears melted away.
"Hi buddy" she smiled, finally realizing the brunette wasn't behind her, she looked around and smiled brightly when her eyes her gaze found her
"Look, Gina! I'm still alive." she laughed and hugged the horse's neck. Earning a hug from Rocinante as the animal laid his head on her shoulder.
"See Mal, not that hard." Emma winked, laughing as the girl grumbled under her breath
Regina giggled and helped her get on the saddle. Patting her thigh and looking up at her when she finally got situated she smiled. "Can you still be my savior since you're fine with horses and can get to me in time?"
Emma looked down at her and offered her hand out to help her onto the saddle to sit behind her. When Regina was situated with her arms around the blonde and her hands on hers to teach her how to use the reins, she looked over her shoulder and smiled, "I'll always be your Savior."
"You're next Mal, so sit tight. Come on Emma, get used to riding." Regina wrapped her arms around the blonde's waist and laid her chin on her shoulder.
As the two rode off, Mal huffed, not missing the look of complete relief and contentment on the wolf's face as the princess wrapped around her

"Come on Regina! That's not even fair!"
She threw her head back and laughed as she rode Rocinante faster towards Emma's home
She has been riding horses before she could walk. So once she reached the blonde's home, she skillfully jumped down and turned around to watch the other girls catch up to her on their own horses.
Mal rode up on her own horse and gracefully jumped off, laughing along with her as they watched the three wolves ride up. Emma on her own horse, Ruby, and Belle together on one. They had decided to get Ruby and Belle to try too, but as they trotted towards them, they were met with frightened and sick looks on their faces, with Ruby clinging onto Belle from behind.
They had stopped for a picnic next to a river after a day of teaching the other two wolves to ride when Regina had announced a race and quickly jumped on her horse and left, Mal following quickly behind. Leaving Ruby and Belle to clean up with the help of Emma as quickly as they could before they were off too. Though Emma was fine with the fast pace, the other two had just gotten used to trotting that day.
"How is it that it's only ever not fair, whenever I beat you?" she smirked and crossed her arms, watching the blonde come to a stop and glare at her as she climbed down.
"You know why it's not fair."
"Hmmm, I think you're just a sore loser." She smiled and turned around, walking away.
Mal giggled and went to Ruby and Belle to help them down.
Regina heard a huff behind her and the next thing she knew, she was being tackled to the ground. Laughing as she fell, she managed to turn around, only to have the blonde girl straddle her legs and begin tickling her sides.
"You know it's not fair because you had more of a head start."
"Stop!" she giggled, but it was ignored. Only making her attacker smile.
"Nope, not until you admit it. You cheated."
"I will admit no such thing. You know my mother taught me never to lie."
"It wouldn't be a lie!" She laughed, Regina tried throwing her hands up to grab her and turn them over and failed. Only to get her hands pinned down on either side of her head instead.
They both smiled at each other, still laughing.
"Regina, I may not agree with Emma much but you had an advantage." Mal giggled again
" Girls, what are you doing on the ground?" They looked up to see their mothers looking at them. One trying not to laugh while she tried looking serious with them and the other two not even trying and chuckling at the sight.
"She's being a sore loser, mad that I beat her riding back to the house" Cora raised an eyebrow, smirking when her daughter tilted her head up looking at her upside down.
"She called a race and jumped on Rocinante right then while we cleaned up the picnic," Emma mumbled
"Regina, you know that isn't fair."
"That's what I said!" The blonde exclaimed
"Fine," Regina mumbled, "I'm sorry"
Green eyes brightened and the girl leaned down, kissed her on the nose, and rose to her feet, held out her hand to help Regina up. "You're forgiven" she smiled
Regina rolled her eyes but smiled,
The girls' mothers looked at each other and smiled at the cuteness of it all
"Come on. It's lunchtime, come eat." Mals mother said
At the mention of food, the girls ran into the house and sat next to each other at the kitchen table.
Regina leaned over and whispered in her ear, "I'll get you back later Emma."
Only receiving a shit-eating grin in response.
