Gon, Killua, and Leorio walked into the marketplace and took in their surroundings, seeing if there was anything they'd be interested in. Not soon after, they heard a ruckus near the fountain.

"Go get him missy!"

"Not bad for a small midget!"

"What is she, a gorilla?"

The trio glanced at each other with uneasiness before they joined in on the crowd. To their horror as well as excitement, it was a very familiar face. With her usual dead fish eyes and her unladylike nose picking self.

"Give me a break, girlie. I knocked you aside 'cause I didn't want to spend any time with you and now you won't let me go? Take your filthy hands off of me, do you know how much this jacket costs?" The man dusted himself off as he watched Valeria take on a stance

"Don't be so petty, I'm just gonna smash in a tooth or two." Valeria stretched his arms before stretching out her legs. She then pointed at him as she continued to talk. "Now, trivia time. What is a person's weakness? Their eyes or their testicles?" She then punched him straight in the face and sent him flying back, knocking over several chairs and tables that was used for the outdoor cafe. "Trick question. You smash their face in until they are too embarrassed to go home to their mommy and too damaged to even know who they are, what they are, where they are. What? A trick question was unfair?" She then watched the man struggle to get up and attempt to run but she slammed his head into the ground. "Don't be stingy, life is a trivia."

"..." Leorio and Killua stared at the girl with their mouths wide open in horror. Gon tapped his chin seriously before turning the other two. "Is that true?"

"Well…"

"I mean maybe?"

Valeria picked her nose as she stepped on the unconscious corpse as everyone clapped, which made Leorio and Killua even more confused. "Sure if you kick men down there, it'll leave disastrous damage but for women? Only ⅔ of the damage done to men but damage their face, they'll be knocked out for a long time."

"SO IN THE END IT'S ALL ABOUT THE SAME?!" Leorio and Killua shouted.

"Leorio, Killua, Gon." Valeria stopped picking her nose and stepped over the body to walk over to them. "I was going to ask that man if he had seen you guys. See, I made drawings of you four." She took out drawings from her bag and Killua and Leorio didn't have any high expectations for her artwork. After all, she's a gorilla who doesn't know anything besides plants and fighting.

"Woah! This is so good!" Gon marvelled at her drawing while the other two peered over his shoulder. Killua smiled lazily as he waved his hand. "Gon, no matter how much you respect or like someone, it's not good to lie and boost their ego-" He stopped as he stared at the drawings. He snatched the drawing of his and his hands began shaking. "This...this…."

"Oi oi, I've spent so much time reading manga, you think I don't know how to draw? Fools." Valeria smirked as the group looked at her drawings.

"Who's this?" Killua pointed at the drawing of himself with a deadpan expression while Valeria felt a vein pop. "What do you mean who's this, who else has white hair, dumbass?"

"I know but...I mean...isn't this too sparkly? Like it's so sparkly, the eyes are so big, everyone looks the same except for obviously, the colours, hairstyle, clothes, and Leorio." Leorio looked at the drawings and then he looked at the group with an unamused look. "Hey, why am I the only one who is an old man. Hey, why is everyone else a perfect sparkling bishounen? Hey, Valeria? Why?"

"I can't help it, I only read shoujo and horror manga. Why would I want to draw real people when the majority of the people around my or shitheads? See, the only drawings I made of real people look like this." Valeria pulled out another drawing as she ignored Leorio's whining. Everything was realistic and portrayed beautifully. However, the head was a pile of poo. A literal head made of shit.

"..." The group stared at the drawing before Valeria recycled the drawing and glanced around. "Kurapika isn't here?" She took the drawings and the boys shook their heads. "We're not sure. We just met up with each other not too long ago. And then we saw you-" Leorio trailed off as a memory replayed of Valeria doing a trivia with her victim.

"You saw me, a country bumpkin fragile girl, getting bullied by a violent and scummy heartless scum. I know, tragic."

"Increase your vocabulary, delusional bit-" Killua commented but stopped when he saw the threatening and murderous look in Valeria's eyes.

"HMmmMMm? I'm starving." Valeria wandered off to a nearby food stand to purchase something to eat as the group found a table to sit around. As Valeria came back with food for everyone, which was surprisingly considerate, Gon asked everyone: "Did you two learn about Nen as well?"

Leorio looked smug while Valeria looked away, uncomfortably. Are you effing serious? She just ran away from home while she was doing Nen training. She barely survived. She barely made it out! She barely avoided shitting her pants. Now they want to bring it up?

"Yes, of course I did." Leorio hummed as he began to explain the misleading concept of Nen, which was basically only Ten.

"Leorio...That's Ten." Gon smiled. Killua shook his head, as if he expected as much while the gorilla patted Leorio on the back.

"What about you Valeria?"

"Yeah." Valeria sipped her drink before realizing that the others wanted to hear more about her training. What did she go through this time, a landslide? Learn how to walk across water? Learn how to walk up trees, control a ball of lightning in her hand?

"Thanks to Shion's torture and the help of a 'friend' of mine, I found out I'm a Manipulator."

"Oof, that sadist was your teacher? That's unfortunate. How did he let you leave?"

"..." Valeria looked away while she tried to drink her drink, which only ended up spilling onto the ground with her shaky hands. The trio all began to sweat bullets at her nervous behaviour.

"Hey, Valeria? Why aren't you saying anything." Gon asked nervously.

"Don't tell me you ran away from home again." Leorio sighed.

"Won't that psychopath chase after you again?" Killua drank his own drink but spat it out after Valeria started throwing up out of nervousness.h

"THAT'S DISGUSTING! WHY HERE AND NOW? YOU ESCAPED WITH NO PLAN, DIDN'T YOU?" Killua threw a slice of bread at him.

"S-s-s-s-shut up!" Valeria retorted.

The four of them then proceeded to a nearby hotel and booked a room before they sat down in the living room, continuing to talk.

"Greed Island? What's that?" Leorio asked as Valeria examined the potted plants that decorated the room. She clicked her tongue in disappointment when she found out that the plants were fake.

"We're trying to get a copy at the auction."

"But why a game?"

"I think it holds a clue to finding my dad."

"What? Finding your dad?"

"Maybe you have to gather clues to unlock the next clue and it turns out to be 'I was behind you the whole time' kind of game?" Valeria suggested.

"That's pretty awful of him." Leorio responded and the girl nodded.

"Well...we aren't sure. But the game is really expensive." Gon smiled, his muscles tensed up at the thought of the price.

"How much are we talking about?"

"The lowest starting bid is 8.9 billion." Killua answered as he took one of Valeria's mystery flavoured lollipops.

"8.9 billion?!" Valeria and Leorio shouted.

"How much do you have now?"

"We made some bad investments so 5 million."

Valeria began to zone out as they began to talk about the difficulty of getting the game and the funds. Gon and Leorio began to search up auctioning terms before Leorio pulled the three onto the streets and buying a diamond ring.

"..." Valeria looked forward with a deadpan expression while holding a poster that had all the details of payment and what's going on for bid. To her left was Killua, who was holding the prize. To her right would be Gon who is going to arm wrestle everyone. Leorio just kept running his mouth and raking in more people who wanted to compete. Her arm was going to be sore tonight.

"Finding the moles and getting a lucky jackpot...you said." Valeria said. The group had been scouted by a man who introduced them to an underground arm wrestling match. He promised them all big bucks if they entered the match. However, right when Gon was going to compete, the match was cancelled and they were given flyers instead. "Cancelled right when Gon was going to compete. Rather unfortunate I would say."

"Our target? Wasn't this girl the one who arm wrestled me?" Gon asked before Leorio nodded.

Killua listened intently to the two men behind him as they rumoured about an attack on the auction. The host then announced: "For each person brought in, you will be given 2 million Jenny!"

"Bounty hunting?" Valeria folded the paper into her pocket, walking out with the group and onto the streets.

"They should be the Phantom Troupe. You heard it too didn't you? Even the mafia couldn't handle them. The only ones who are crazy and strong enough to attack the mafia and get away with it...it can only be the Phantom Troupe." Killua said.

"Kurapika…" Valeria and Leorio glanced at each other as the words immediately reminded them all of a certain blond.

"I'll try calling him." Gon said, taking out his brand new phone. They listened to the phone ring but it only went to voicemail.

"Is he working?" Leorio responded. "I heard he's working as a bodyguard...probably for a big shot I think."

"Well let's round up some disgusting spiders before Kurapika takes them all down. Otherwise you won't be getting anything from the auction." Valeria stretched.
