Event: John's birth
Scene 1: A hospital delivery room
(Exhausted, Sarah collapses back on her pillow. She wants to quit, but the contractions are coming really fast.)
Sarah (giving into her pain again): AHA..AHA..AHA..AHAA
Kyle (squeezing Sarah's hand): You can do this, Sarah
Sarah (grabbing a hold of Kyle): AHA...AHA..AHA..AHA
Kyle (rubbing Sarah's back): You are super woman
Sarah (experiencing shortness of breath): I can't do this anymore.
A nurse (timing Sarah's contractions): Your contractions are starting up again. They will help you to push out the baby. The baby must come out.
Sarah (gritting her teeth as she bears down and pushes again): GRR...GRR..AHA..AHA..AHA
Kyle: Go Sarah!
(Eventually, the doctor concludes the baby is oversized-he will not be able to fit through the birth canal. An emergency cesarean section is performed. Sarah looks forward to the day when John calls her mommy. As a toddler and child, John calls Sarah mommy. Sarah found this term mommy to be very cute and sweet. As a teenager and young adult, he just calls her mom).

Event: Kitty's birth
Doctor (touching Sarah's stomach): Sarah, you are struggling to deliver the baby. I can perform an episiotomy if you want me too.
Sarah (struggling through a contraction): What is an episiotomy?
Doctor: An episiotomy is a tiny cut into the vagina that will help to release the baby
Sarah: By whatever means, please get the baby out. You perform the episiotomy.
Kyle (taking Sarah's hand in his hand): I agree with my wife
(The doctor performs the episiotomy and it hurts like hell for Sarah. An issue of shoulder dystocia arises. Sarah and Kyle are relieved to see their little princess. Growing up Kitty starts calling Sarah mommy and then mama, ending with mom.)

Event: Chance's birth
Sarah (exhausted, she talks to the child within her): Please come out, baby
Kyle (rubbing Sarah's stomach): You must push him out
Sarah (listening to her body): The contractions are starting up again
The doctor (instructing Sarah): Push, Sarah, Bear Down
Sarah: AHA...AHA..AHA..AHA
Kyle: I love you so much
Sarah: I love you too
Doctor (placing the baby on Sarah's stomach): Your son is here
(Their son has special needs (Down Syndrome) but they don't care. Sarah struggles to deliver the afterbirth. The doctor pulls it out of her. As a toddler and a child, Chance calls Sarah M. He graduates to Mommy and then Mama. Later on he calls Sarah mom.)
