The chapter I deleted by mistake where Foxy appeared is already back and soon, she will appear again in future chapters. For now, I need to finish the battle of the boys from team STRK.

With that said, I feel that I already focused enough on their problems, and is about time to add some action from every member of the team, and some more from outside.

That grimm may be the most though enemy he faced since he joined Beacon, but in the end it would kiss the grounds beneath Koro's legs. He just needed to get a successfully hit against the monster, who parried all the attacks of the katana with its own wrist blades.

-It is not going to be a grimm that will take me down. –Koro stated.

After four more clashes with the blades, the fifth began a strength contents which Koro was easily losing. When he got on his knees he raised another smoke screen, but instead of attacking from behind, he jumped away.

It was the first time Koro faced someone or something who survived his stealth attacks, and the grimm seems to know if he tried to repeat his moves. So use his surprise attack from behind did not worked twice with the monster. The worst is that he was getting out of options.

Using the fire dust actually helped, the grimm suddenly start to move even clumsier than before.

This was when Koro went on the offensive, attacking restless until he was able to hit clean strike on his shoulder, burning a bit its skin and damaging the movement of its arm. This gave him some advantage until it starts to use its legs.

Port never said grimms could use something akin to a martial art, but then it is a miracle when that man says anything that is not his past feats during classes.

Koro also tried to take advantage of it covered eye, only to discover that the monster actually knows how to protect its blind spot, something that take a lot of training to do. This makes Koro wonder if the grimm fought against huntsmen before.

The advantage Koro had with the fire dust did not last long when the grimm was able to hold the blade with both its hands, burning the palm of its hands and somehow making the wrist blades fall on the floor. The fire around Koro's katana start to die until extinguished.

Koro thought the grimm would not be able to absorb the fire with the pain of the burning, a grave mistake. The result was all the fire dust absorbed from the blade and in the grimm's hands.

Changing to the ice, the ninja attacked with hopes of freezing his foe and end it while stuck in the ice.

First it burn his hand and know was trying to freeze him.

Ryan was not having a good day. He never once heard about a grimm that could use dust and the one he was facing seemed to want to use all it had to take Ryan down.

Seeing the from another angle, this also means that the grimm was running out of options to deal with Ryan, but did not help that the palm of his hands got burned.

For a moment his fear of fire got the best of him and he forgot to use his semblance when saw the fire blade coming. He absorbed the fire as soon he felt the burning in his hands but the damage was already done, not to mention the burn in his shoulder.

Now he has both shoulders burned.

To make the situation worst, he lost the hold and sight of his tomahawks. It was like as soon his revolvers fell from his hands it got teleported to somewhere else, disappearing in front of Ryan's eyes.

Not having any choice, he decides to go with hand-to-hand combat. But as soon the grimm starts to use ice, Ryan used the earth dust to cover his wrists with rock armors, blocking its attacks while freezing the concrete around his wrists.

Don't be mistake in think that Ryan can absorb dust through dust. And while the concrete in his arms was heavy, he was able to move fast enough to block the incoming attacks. Things almost went wrong when he felt something wrap around his ankle and makes him lost the balance, but Ryan already trained to use his incoordination to his favor, and kicked the grimm in its chest.

The root around his ankle did not unwrapped, allowing the grimm to pull him together with it, only to not move an inch from his spot. The grimm jumped into Ryan once again but purposely missed the attack when notices that Ryan tried to block the blade coming down, distracting Ryan from the root coming from behind and whipping his back with air dust.

Ryan did not expect the strike mixed with the concentrated blow of air so he lost the balance and stumbled forward, allowing the grimm to get a clean cut in his face. It aimed another cut to his leg.

Ryan was able to get his leg out of the way in time and hit the sole of his feet right on the grimm's root covered face.

If Ryan was not so distracted with the battle, he would have notice that the root did not pierce the skin of his leg, neither the sole of his sandal.

It wrapped its root around his waist and jumped to another attack, only to Ryan discharge some of the electricity of his body. The grimm was temporally paralyzed allowing Ryan to draw his revolver… only to remember that he lost both.

The grimm recovered and spin in midair forcing Ryan to block the air drill it made with its own body. The grimm stopped spinning and tried a kick against Ryan's face who blocked with his wrists, then cocked his head back to dodge a second kick.

Ryan grabbed the grimm's ankle with his left hand and its knee with his right hand, pushing it down and almost breaking its legs with the pressure he applied when pushed its leg down.

Koro nearly let a scream of pain when the grimm pulled him down by his leg.

He used his scarf to hit its eye, forcing the grimm to release his leg and roll around the floor while covering its face. Koro jumped and spun in midair while falling down making a air drill. The drill hit the grimm dead on, pushing it further down on the ground while digging further.

-This will be your tomb! –Koro stated while spinning faster. To his surprise, the grimm's arms came up and grabbed his body with force enough to stop his small tornado. –What the fu…

He was interrupted mid-sentence when the grimm's leg came and kicked the ninja in the stomach, sending him roll away for a couple of seconds before he was back to his feet and charged once again, with the grimm doing the same.

The grimm raised both its arms, forcing Koro to get cover in his scarf, blocking both fists coming down with earth-quaking force and this time, putting Koro in a hole on the floor. Koro kicked the grimm when the bounce send him back, but the grimm blocked the kick with both his knees and grabbed Koro by both his ankles and throwing him back on the floor.

The grimm stood above Koro and start to deliver punch after punch against the ninja who even with his scarf protecting him, felt like he was receiving blows from a pile driver. Using the remain of air dust he had, Koro made a small tornado strong enough to get the grimm off from him.

-You asked for it. –Koro said menacingly before jump in the nearest tree.

The grimm was stuck in the small tornado, and Koro took advantage of that to attack him, jumping from tree to tree while cutting the grimm who could do nothing but cover itself from the attacks.

The cuts come quickly and from all the angles, Koro was making sure no spot was left without his blade cut. Moving like a blur around with the only place where he repetitively appeared was where the grimm was, to cut him.

When Koro was reaching for his forty-seventh cut, he saw his tornado glowing with a strange light. What comes next could be compared with a lighting storm. The grimm discharged all the electricity it have inside its body to break the cut chain and the tornado, succeeding.

-You gotta be kidding me… -Koro said. -Once the grimm's feet touch the grass, he charged immediately to where the young ninja was. –It seems that play time is over. –Koro said before get down the tree… -Fine by me! -… and charge against his foe.

The grimm came in fast speed, and Ryan crossed his arms to block the fire wheel, making once again heat and cold collide and spreading around, freezing and burning some leaves. Ryan hold as much he could while watching closely the grimm spinning inside the fire wheel, and when he found a opening, kicked his enemy with force enough to send him flying into the nearest rock.

Ryan fell down on his feet with his legs trembling. His fear of fire was almost consuming him, and he was doing his best to not put himself in fetal position. He had no time to rest when the grimm exploded and send all the debris falling around him while looking extremely livid.

If there is a time when Koro needed to get serious, this time has arrived.

Pushing the button on his katana, the blade starts to glow white, meaning that he was using the dust he let only as last resort.

Roaring, he charged against the grimm and just not notice how scared it looked because he was angry as hell.

The blade comes down in a vertical swing releasing a wide white arc of pure energy. The grimm saw it coming and raised its arms to block. The arc made contact with the grimm creating a shockwave strong enough to send it flying back to the nearest tree.

The grimm got on its feet with effort, showing that the arc made some damage on it. Koro made a somersault jump and made another arc with his blade, and waited for the grimm to be ended for good.

Imagine his surprise when the grimm lift its clawed hand and charged with electricity. The closed fist collided with the arc, creating shockwaves through the forest as the grimm starts to dispute against the arc of pure energy.

Koro's eyes widened seeing the arc getting smaller each seconds, meaning that or the grimm was absorbing it or it was getting weaker, and he was hoping for the first option.

The arc was done and the grimm stood victorious with its body glowing white with the dust.

Koro smirked.

The grimm discharged electricity around as he charged against Koro, who made a motion with his hand, stopping the grimm.

-It seems I can manipulate the dust inside of you. –Koro stated.

Ryan did not know what was happening.

He charged against the grimm to keep with the fight only to something inside him stop his movements, in the same time the grimm raised its clawed hand in his direction.

It has something to do with the scarlet arc of pure energy he absorbed?

If the grimm can manipulate its own energy, it means that it can manipulate the energy Ryan absorbed.

Just his luck.

Ryan began another contest of strength this time against the grimm. He slowly moved in the grimm's direction but when it closed its clawed hand, Ryan was pushed down by some invisible force.

Having his head shoved on the ground was not enough to stop his movements, and he keep moving forward, surprising the grimm. With some effort, he raised his head as he keep walking, but had lost the bandage covering his head.

The grimm applied more force in its energy manipulation, sending Ryan flying back, but before he could gain more height, he shoved his legs on the floor and used his fingers to keep himself in the ground.

That is one of the reasons he choose to wear sandals.

The grimm was even more surprise to see Ryan still going to its direction, so it decide to give a little burst in the push with some wind dust, creating a tornado which engulfed Ryan, pushing him back.

Still was not enough to stop him as he keep walking slowly shoving his feet on the ground. The grimm was getting desperate, a good sign. Ryan start to discharge sparks as his strength increased slowly, making his way inside the tornado and reaching the grimm.

It root come and whipped Ryan on the chest, trying to stop him. The attack with the root, the tornado, the manipulation of the energy inside of him, none of this was enough to stop the gunslinger, who may cower in fear in the presence of the monster, but when comes to save people will put his fears aside.

Once he was close of the monster, Ryan grabbed the root it used to whip him and pull it closer. Grabbing the grimm by its neck, Ryan shoved it against the ground. The gunslinger received a kick in his face which he used to grab the grimm by its ankle.

He raised his fist to throw a punch but the root wrapped around his wrists. What comes next was it blade coming in the direction of Ryan's good eye, pressing the point against his eyeball. The pain in his eye made him scream in pain as he was blinded. The grimm roared victoriously and let its guard open for Ryan stomp him with force enough to shatter the ground around them, and making it spit some blood.

His arm was released from the root and Ryan did not lose time to try again his punch, only to hit the floor beneath the grimm, it escaped. Thinking fast, he sends a kick ahead with hopes of hitting something. The sole of his sandal hit something and he knew that was not a rock. Something grabbed his ankle and felt some weight being put on his raised leg, whatever was holding his leg just jumped, which means that Ryan threw a punch above hitting something.

The grip in his ankle loosened and Ryan quickly grabbed whatever was and pushed, sending another punch against whatever he just push, feeling teeth against the fingers of his closed fist.

The grimm flew away with the punch forcing Ryan to wait for its next move, was not going to be easy. He remained silent, trying to hear anything that could alert him of the grimm's next move.

He heard sound of leaves being pushed away, not caring from where the leaves came from as he raised both arms to block what could be an flanked attack on his head. He threw an uppercut against the grimm but hit nothing, and put a arm behind his head to block what he recognize as a kick.

He used the back of his head to try hit the grimm but once again hit nothing. What he blocked next undoubtedly its blade, the feel of his skin almost being cut was a proof of it. Seeing that he would not hit the grimm so soon while blinded, Ryan discharged a huge amount of electricity around, knowing that he succeed when heard the grimm scream in pain, followed by something hitting the floor.

He did not waste any more time, charging immediately against the grimm and pinning it against the ground with a arm on its neck. He stomped hard the floor traping the bladed hand along with the rest of its body, but the root still moved.

The root hit Ryan straight on his bleeding eye, making him grit his teeth in pain but not to lose the grip of the grimm's neck. He was able to get hold of the root, and with his fist closed around it, he punched the grimm right on its face, followed by another punch on the chest, and releasing its neck, Ryan began to pound the grimm as fast as he could, hitting fast and hard enough to make the ground tremble.

He felt in his fists that the grimm was using its root to block its body, so Ryan decide to use its weapons against it. Grabbing the root, Ryan threw the grimm until he felt in his hand and heard its body crashing on the floor, he threw the grimm again, again, and again, ending by freezing the root with the remains of ice dust he had in his body.

The grimm was no doubt all broken after all this punishment, and its root was frozen so it could not use to defend itself. Ryan heard the grimm leaving the floor while growling with pain and dissatisfaction.

Glynda knew that should not have left two boys alone in the Forever Fall Forest, especially when there is some grimm walking around. After a couple of minutes looking for the boys of team STRK, she start to hear what she recognized a fight, also hearing Ryan and Koro screaming in pain.

They were in trouble.

She rushed as fast she could to where the fight was happening and once she reached to where the screams were coming from, her eyes widened in surprise to see both boys completely wounded from their battle. It seems they were able to overcome their foes, or she thought.

Glynda watched in horror and surprise as Koro tried to do one of the motions he needed to do with his arm to use dust only to Ryan crushes the palm of the hand of his own partner with his leg, making the Koro scream in pain.

Ryan interrupted the scream by grabbing Koro's head and covering its mouth. Ryan grabbed the head of his partner, and by the way he was holding Koro's head it seems that he was ready to snap his neck.

Glynda immediately raised her crop to stop Ryan for committing murderer, but was able to see how the partners were looking to each other, and different from the way Koro once looked at her, it was if they were facing a mortal enemy.

-Ryan! Stop! –Glynda called and was about to use her semblance.

But then, the teacher was once again surprise by the apparition of one of her co-workers.

Fernando punched Ryan's face with force enough to send him away from his partner. Koro who below the samurai's feet was looking in surprise, but his next words confused Glynda even more.

-Another grimm? –Koro asked as Fernando turned his face to the young ninja.

Fernando knee besides Koro putting a hand on his chest and the young ninja grabbed his wrist, as if not wanting to let happen whatever Fernando was going to do. A white light suddenly appeared and Glynda had to shield her eyes to not become the second blind teacher in Beacon.

With the light still shining, she heard what she recognized as a grimm roaring while dying. The lights died and Koro lay unmoving for a moment. The ninja seems to take notices of his blind teacher, but before he could ask anything, Fernando had to block a flying kick from Ryan.

This was the last straw for Glynda.

-Mr. Forest! –She roared. –I don't know what gotten into you, but you are attacking a member of the school staff! You will cease your attacks this instan…

-He can't hear you Glynda. –Fernando spoke.

-W-what? –Glynda asked and again before Fernando could answer her question, Ryan tried to punch him.

He dodge the first punch and the followed attacks, blocking some and not showing any sign of difficult while doing so. Ryan jumped and tried to kick his face only to Fernando hit his stomach with the hold of his katana. Once Ryan's feet touch the floor Ferando grabbed his face and was electrocuted.

-It seems I will have to knock you down to help you.

Help him? What Fernando was talking about?

-Fernando, wait! –Glynda called him. –He is one of our students! You can't fight against him!

-Sorry, Glynda. But he will not stop until someone die in front of him. –Fernando said.

-Wait, what? –Koro spoke. –What the hell are you talking about? How come I came back to Forever Fall? What are you two doing here? And what is happening to Ryan?

Koro did not get any answer for his question as Ryan shot a chain of electricity from his hands, something Fernando take care by applying some gravity in front of him, pushing the electricity down to the ground.

-You gotta be kidding me! –Ryan spoke, feeling the electricity he shot being pushed down by a gravitational force.

-Glynda, I will not harm him. –Fernando spoke before Koro yelped once he was throw to his blode teacher by the samurai. -I will explain later, just let me do this. –Fernando's words seemed sincere so Glynda, in lack of her better judgment, allowed Fernando to fight against Ryan who charged against his blind teacher.

The first punch Fernando blocked with his wrist, the second he blocked with the sheath of his katana, what comes next was a kick that Fernando ducked and hit Ryan on his back again with the hold of his katana. Of course, Fernando's head was not in Ryan's direction while blocking his attacks. Ryan covered his fist with electricity and tried to grab Fernando who pushed his wrist against Ryan's to stop his move.

Normally Ryan would have no problem in a strength contest, but this time he could not move an inch as his professor hold his arm with little effort.

-Or he is stronger than Ryan, or he has some ace up on his sleeve. –Koro commented, not believing that after a couple of months, someone was finally overwhelming Ryan in strength.

Ryan tried to use his other arm and Fernando hit his hand with the sheath of his katana. Fernando pushed away Ryan's other arm and closed his fist, hitting Ryan on the stomach, not strong enough to hurt but enough to somehow send him flying away.

Koro notices that.

-How… did he…

-His semblance Mr. Koro. –Glynda spoke. –And that's all you will know.

Seeing the teacher would not open the game to him, Koro watched as his blind teacher whipped the floor with his partner.

Ryan attacked, attacked, and attacked, but Fernando was able to dodge all his attacks. Now Fernando knew how his students felt about himself, he knew that Ryan was blinded because of his wounded eye but somehow he knew where Fernando was. He must have trained his senses very well.

Not wanting to drag the fight for too long, Fernando grabbed his katana. Glynda wondered if Fernando was going to use the real blade of the Grimmslayer or the bladed sheath. She got her answer when Ryan charged one last time, and Fernando drew his blade and with blinding speed, with he did not hesitated to use to cut Ryan with an Iaijutsu move. When the blade was back to the sheath in a blink of a eye, Ryan stopped to move, falling on his knees before his face hit the ground unconscious.

What comes next was the ghost like grimm appearing from Ryan's body, surprising Koro and Glynda. The ghost tried to attack Fernando only to the white light return, and the ghost disappear in midair as if was being disintegrated, slowly turning into dust.

The light died and Fernando stood there with his glasses lowered to his nose, making the grey of his eye visible.

-Fernando. –Glynda called. –What was that thing?

Infirmary

Once all was over, Glynda and Fernando carried Ryan and Koro back to where the group of students was. As soon they appeared all wounded, Sally shot question after question wanting to know what happened to her teammates, and Fernando just said the same he said to Glynda.

Beacon and put them immediately in the infirmary. From there Fernando began to explain to Glynda, Sally and Unicorn.

-That things we saw was a Nightmare. –Fernando began. -It is a grimm that possess the body of a person and puts him in a sleepwalking state. The victim is placed in an illusory state, believing to be elsewhere, and sees everything alive as an enemy, in other words as a grimm.

-So the reason Ryan and Koro fought against each other it was because the Nightmares made them look to each other as a grimm? –Sally asked.

-I never heard about such terrible grimm. –Glynda commented. –Fernando, how did you know about them?

-One of them possessed one of the men under me back when I was a soldier. –Fernando explained. –It supposed to be just a grimm extermination when one of my men just began to act crazy and shot his comrades. I had to knock him down to stop him, and it was when I see a Nightmare for the first time. As soon it left the body of the first soldier, it went to another. And it keeps going until it was killed.

-And how did you know its name? –Unicorn asked.

-I asked for a specialist back there. He said those grimms were rare to find. I was surprise to notice they were in Forever Fall.

-Right, so you notice with that ability of yours, I am correct? –Glynda asked as Sally focused her attention to both her teammates, victims of the grimms.

Koro was with a cast around the his arm and left leg, bandages covering his chest and face, his cheek swollen from the punches he received, and probably would not be able to move for a while. It means not classes for a while and not food theft much for Ozpin's joy.

Ryan on the other side was able to sit in his bed, but still had to treat the burns he received on the palms of his hands and on his left shoulder. There's also the bandage covering both his eyes. Yukino said that he got luck that would not lose the sight with the eye Koro stabbed with his katana but still would need some treatment, hence the bandages.

Sally notices that although their bodies may be wounded, for the ninja of her team seems that his pride was more hurt than his body.

Acting all cocky and might, Koro did not expect to ever get close to lost to his partner in battle. She notices that because the ninja did not broke eye contact with the ceiling since he heard that was facing Ryan in Forever Fall.

As the teammates were busy in one side of the infirmary, Glynda focus went to her blind co-worker, remembering about how he purged the grimm from Koro and how he killed the one what left Ryan's body.

She remembers seeing something like that before but with a woman with a special aspect regarding her appearance. Since Fernando's eyes lost the color because of what happened in his past, there no way of telling the color of his eyes, but what he did in Forever Fall made a question appear in her mind.

Did Fernando have silver eyes?

Finally some action will start in this fic, and it is about time. Next some more action will happen, not the same as this chapter but will be something interesting.
