Just another day to the clumsy member of team STRK.

Ryan was standing with his legs shaking as Goodwitch was once again scolding him for another property damage caused by his clumsiness. It was the third time already to... day, a pile of destroyed robots was decorating the courtyard after Ryan by mistake, pulled the trigger of one of his revolvers.

After that, one of the robots got his guard up, followed by something crashing and when Ryan notices, he was below a pile of destroyed robots. The moment he got himself out, he meets a pair of angry green eyes.

He doesn't it on purpose, it just happens.

Since the day he lost his tail, the young horse boy felt like something was throwing him out of his balance.

-Atlas Military doesn't take lightly the damage of its property! -Goodwitch shouts. -You are lucky that you are one of our students or else I'm sure that any of the soldiers would...

As Goodwitch keep scolding him, the blonde woman did not notice that Ryan's focus was on something else.

From the moment she began to talk about the Atlas Military, Ryan put all his focus on the corner of his good eye, where he saw Unicorn walking to one of the damaged robots. Like was no big deal, Unicorn walk to one of the damaged robots, hold its arm and ripped it from its body, then walked away, again, like was no big deal.

-Now, what do you have to say in your defense, Mr. Forest? -Goodwitch asked.

-Somethingjustpopupgottagobye! -He spoke as fast he could and run away, leaving alone a really annoyed Goodwitch.

-Unicorn! -Ryan shouts as he enters his room, only to be empty.

-Unicorn! -He calls for her again inside an empty classroom.

-Unicorn! -He calls for her in the chemical dust room.

-Unicorn! -He calls for her in the courtyard.

-Unicorn! -He calls for her in the workshop.

-Unicorn! -He calls for her in the ballroom.

-Unicorn! -He calls for her in the cafeteria.

-Unicorn! -He calls for her in the kitchen.

-Get out! -And the cooker yells at him.

-Rude.

-Unicorn! -He calls for her in the janitor's closet. Before he went back in look for his teammate, something just struck his mind. -Where on Remnant are the janitors?

After a whole hour, which time to time he had to hide from Goodwitch, Ryan was a bit tired, not knowing where to look for her.

He could call her with his scroll if he had not forgotten where he put it.

Since action was not working, he decides to think, where she would go with a dismembered arm of a robot. She probably plans to work on something, but was not in the workshop for that, probably to avoid being seen while working.

But the workshop is the only place he knows to have tools to work in the weapons unless she was not planning to work in a weapon. If that is the case, he did not need to look in a place with tools to make a weapon, he just needs to find a place with tools for Unicorn to work with.

And there is one place like that in Beacon.

The garage.

The place in the academy where the students and teachers park their vehicles are not in use. It is not as big as the hangar for the Bullheads but it works fine.

Looking around, Ryan sees some vehicles that belong to his classmates, Xiao Long's yellow motorcycle as well. He also recognizes some other vehicles as well, some that he used... and the owners not know.

Long story.

After a while of walking and look around, he starts to hear the unmistakable sound of a piece of tech being worked on, something he knows for his classes on the workshop. Following the direction where the sounds were coming from, he finally found his quiet teammate, along with his partner and team leader.

-Oh, hello Ryan. -Sally compliment him once she takes notice of his presence.

-What are you guys doing? -Ryan asked, straight to the point.

-Guess what? -Sally began. -Unicorn is making Koro a new arm!

-She what?! -Ryan asked, surprised. -Wait, take the arm from a robot is not make a new one.

-She did what? -Sally asked.

-I needed a base for the prosthesis. -Unicorn began as she worked on the arm on the table. -And since there were so many robots going around, I don't think they would mind one missing an arm.

-So this is an arm from one of those toys from Atlas? -Koro asked. -Not judging, just curious.

-So you are not just taking an arm from one droid from Atlas? -Ryan asked.

-Yes. -Unicorn blatantly answered. -But I also made some changes to it.

-Changes? -Ryan asked.

-What kind of changes? -Sally asked, curious about what was taking her partner so long if she already got a robot arm ready for use.

-You will see. -Was all Unicorn said as she put what seemed to be a shuriken on the arm.

And so, Ryan joined his team on the waiting of Unicorn making a prosthesis for Koro. The ninja may not notice, but he was anxious about this. It has been a long time already since he lost his arm, and the idea of getting a new one left him enthusiastic, so much that he moved left and right, leaped on one of the chairs once he sat down, and keep looking to and away from Unicorn as she worked on the prosthesis.

After forty minutes of working, the silent girl got up with the droid's arm in her hands, which seemed far different from before.

Koro was the first one to approach her, yet tried to not look anxious, followed by Sally and Ryan.

-This really will work? -Ryan asked.

-Maybe. -Unicor bantly answered again.

-And how are you going to put that thing on my missing arm? -Koro asked.

-Just don't move. -Unicorn answers as she holds something that looked like a socket filled with pins in her hand.

She then pulls Koro closer, rips his sleeve, throws some alcohol in what was left of his arm, and finally... shoved full force the socket in his missing member.

-Aaahh! -Koro screams as he raises his dismembered arm. -Aaaaaahhhh...! -His scream was cut out when Unicorn notch the prosthesis in the socket.

Koro moves the prothesis around, left and right, up and down, all around to see if the prothesis was working. Once he saw that was working perfectly, he had only one thing to say:

-Cool.

-It is really working. -Sally stated.

-Since when do you know robotics? -Ryan asked.

-Since I died. -Was all Unicorn said, making his teammates, even Koro, a bit discomforted.

Just make the prosthesis was not enough, it needed to be tested, and Koro could not find a better opportunity than during Goodwitch's combat class.

Once the class began and the blonde woman asked for volunteers for the first match, Koro immediately raised his left arm.

Needless to say, everyone around surprised to see something filling his right sleeve, it was another shirt, of course, even Goodwitch was surprised with his new mechanical arm.

-A prosthesis, Mr. Koro? -Goodwitch couldn't help but ask.

-Yep.

-And where did you were able to acquire it?

-It was made for me. -Koro answed flexing his mechanical member.

His opponent, Vendaval Tempest, eyed the prosthesis with curiosity and knew how good Koro was with one arm, and now he has two.

Putting her curiosity aside, Goodwitch stepped away from the center to allow the students to fight, yet her curiosity came back when Koro pulled his katana with his prosthesis instead of his left arm.

-Is Koro right-handed? -Goodwitch thought and nearly forgot to start the match.

Koro held his katana with both arms while Vendaval held his shield in his front while held the spear above.

Giving the signal to start, Koro began in a way that took everyone, even his team, by surprise.

Normally, he would disappear and attack his enemies in stealth mode but now, he charged head one, taking Vendaval by surprise who also was not expecting him try a direct attack.

The blade of the katana was blocked by the shield, and Vendaval used the opportunity for a stabbing move. But Koro was not the one to be taken in such easy move, using his blade to parry the spear and gave a cut on Vendaval's kneecap.

In no time he was on the ground and Koro jumped to stab his fallen opponent. Vendaval saw it coming and pointed his spear to Koro's direction, but was took by surprise when the ninja gave a spin in midair and changed the stabbing to a cut that hit the shield, but instead of blocking, the shield was send flying from Vendaval's hand.

The spear used rolled away and got on his knee, moving his spear with hopes to hit Koro's legs. The ninja gave a leap, doding the spear and giving a vertical swing with his katana. Vendaval blocked with his spear and held his weapon in position as Koro forced him down.

Koro then pressed a button on his katana, making the blade become blue. It froze the spear and stucking Vendaval's hands on his weapon. Taking advantage of his confusion, Koro pulled his spear along with Vendaval, and gave a kick on his stomach, followed by one on his chest and finally one on his chin, sending the spear user flying, after the ninja let go of his weapon.

Down on the floor, Vendaval shoved his hands on the ground, breaking the ice and allowing him to use properly his spear once again. Koro snicked and surprised everyone once again when three shurikens suddenly came from his forearm.

Throwing the shurikens, Vendaval starts to spin his spear and parry the incoming projectiles, but the shurikens exploded in a smokescreen once making contact with his spear.

Not being able to see his opponent, as he expected at the beginning of the fight, Vendaval keeps his guard up to any incoming attack. He then felt a small chill on his back and turned around to shove his spear hoping to get the ninja, only to hit the air.

The smokescreen disappeared but the ninja was nowhere to be found. Vendaval looks from left to right but could not find Koro.

It was when something just cut his back, despite not seeing Koro there a second ago. Vendaval immediately turned around and shoved his spear, but once again caught only air. Another cut on his back making him groan and he this time, swung his spear, increasing the ratio of the attack in a full moon, but again hit anything but air, followed by another cut in his back.

-How is he doing that?! -Vendaval thought as he looks around after the ninja.

That's when Koro landed in front of him, revealing that he was above all along. Vendaval growled and rushed after the ninja.

The katana and the spear trade blows and sending sparks flowing around the arena. Another surprise was present when Vendaval was shown to be the one who was having difficulty while trading blows with Koro.

The ninja show to be well proficient with the katana, parry, and countering Vendaval's attacks, be it thrusts or cuts.

The last attack Vendaval gave was the lower part of the spear going for the ninja's legs, making Koro leap but the spear wilder was ready now, giving another spin he aimed the point of his spear against Koro, who could not dodge in midair. Even if he blocks, Vendaval will have ready another move to strike him down.

Except that a sudden blow of wind sends him rolling back. He recovered just in time to see a foot coming to his face and send his head down on the ground. When the blur in front of his eyes starts to shape forms once again, he saw Koro standing in front of him, his katana resting on his shoulder while he looks down on his opponent.

Vendaval went to his spear but could not find it.

-Looking for this? -Koro asked, holding the spear in his normal arm.

-I believe that's enough. -Goodwitch began as she approached the middle of the arena. -Mr. Koro, it is impressive that you manage to move your weapon so well with your new asset.

-It is nothing new. -Koro said. -It just I could not do before... for obvious reasons. -He concluded and threw the spear back to Vendaval.

Without waiting for more words from his teacher, he left the arena and joined his team.

-How it was really? -Ryan asked.

-It works perfectly fine. -Koro answered. -It responds to my wishes immediately. It almost like a real arm.

They all look to Unicorn, expecting her to say something like "You're welcome" or "That was the idea". Instead, she just focused on a notebook she had in her lap.

-I'm glad you liked Koro. -Sally said, mimicking Unicorn's voice as best she could. -This is what teammates are for.

-Teammates usually make limbs for their other teammates? -Ryan asked, making Sally sigh and Koro pinch the bridge of his nose.

But if they actually paid attention to their quiet teammate, they could have heard a small, almost inaudible chuckle and the small smile on her lips.

End of the chapter.

Being honest, from how the series actually is, I'm inclined to make the original idea again, the one I discarded for being something that may not happen in the original show. After the whole gods and magic thing, things from other worlds not sounds so bad in my book.

I will upload some more chapters before reach a conclusion to this little dilemma and see what will happen.

See you next time.
