Ch4: Burmy duo, Anthea and Concordia!

A/N: Hello everyone! Here is an updated version of chapter four, with a brand new scene at the end of it!

LS Out!

Harry looked at the two girls in surprise. They looked nothing like N at all! The blonde girl was taller than most adults, and had floor-length hair that was tied in a braid. The pinkette had long, blossom-pink hair that framed her head like a curtain, and puffed out on the sides, and was equally tall. Both girls had pinkish-red eyes that seemed to pierce through you, as though they could see something that nobody else could. Harry could also see a small green and white Pokémon sitting on the shoulder of the Blonde girl, while another, purple, black, and white pokemon was sitting in a chair next to the pinkette. After a few moments, the blonde girl ran over to them, her Pokémon following close behind her. She looked excitedly at harry, her eyes twinkling. "N, what's the name of your new friend? Is he the same age as you?" she asked, "He's adorable! Is he new here too?"

N held up his hands, Laughing at his sister as she rambled about Harry and asking numerous questions about him. "His name is Harry, and he's-" N was cut off as the overexcited blonde let out a surprised gasp. "No Way! You met Harry Potter ALREADY?!" she squealed, turning to Harry"It's so nice to meet you! What do you think of Zodia? Do you know anywhere nice for someone to shop? Do you have any friends? Are you… " Harry, for his part, simply looked dazed at the rapid line of questioning, sweat-dropping at the utter enthusiasm radiating from the blonde. 'S-so that's the trait they share..?' he thought weakly, 'I've never met anyone that's as enthusiastic as this girl!' N seemed to be slightly embarrassed by his sister's behavior, and he gave the blonde a pleading look. "Concordia, I think he's feeling a bit overwhelmed by the amount of questions you're asking him..." he said politely, and almost immediately the newly introduced Concordia seemed to back off slightly, an embarrassed look on her face. "S-sorry, I'm not the best in social situations…. Sorry if I overwhelmed you a bit, Harry..." she apologized, scratching her head awkwardly.

Harry smiled weakly, and scratched his head."D-don't feel bad about it… I… I just didn't expect that, that's all… I didn't mean to blank out like that..." he whispered, an embarrassed look on his face. N sighed, a worried look crossing his face. "Don't get all dreary and embarrassed, I don't think anyone got their feelings hurt." he said bluntly, before his grin returned. "Why don't you let your new partner out of his ball and get acquainted?" Harry's eyes widened with realization, and he hurriedly pulled out the Pokéball for Eevee that he'd placed in the Pokéball pocket of his new bag. "I can't believe that I almost forgot about him!" Harry cried, a startled look on the young teen's face. "Alright Eevee, Come on Out!" Harry threw the ball into the air gently, and it opened, expelling a white light that materialized into a… Shiny Eevee.

Everyone in the room stared at the tiny pokemon in shock, though Harry only seemed confused. "Why's everyone staring at Eevee like that?" he asked N, who seemed bemused rather than shocked. "It's a rare variant of Eevee's natural coloring." He explained, "When a Pokémon has a different color than their natural counterparts (This includes Regional variants too), It's referred to as a 'Shiny' Pokémon, and they're extremely rare." N knelt down, and started 'Speaking' to the tiny fox, Shadow jumping from his shoulder and joining him. After a few moments, they began playing together, Harry and Concordia eventually joining in with them. The small green and white Pokémon that had been perched on Concordia's shoulder also began playing with them, cheering while Shadow and Eevee seemed to be sparring each other, using tail whip and the occasional tackle. It was almost as if the Pokémon were dancing.

A few minutes later the other sister, Anthea finally joined them. "That took far too long." she said, sighing in annoyance, before straightening her new jacket. "At least they look good though… nothing like the things we wore while we attended Ignis… " Harry looked confused, prompting Anthea to explain a bit. "Ignis is the Regional school of Unova." She explained, "While it is pretty well respected, it's infamous for its terrible uniform designs. It's… pretty bad..." Harry nodded a bit, holding his Eevee in his lap, the tiny fox having fallen asleep. Harry and N had already bought simple jackets in the colors that the school had recommended, while one of the shop-owners had given harry a special brush designed specifically for long-furred Pokémon.

Eevee seemed to be happy with the brushing, and was pawing at harry while he brushed the snowy Pokémon. It was kinda adorable to watch to be honest. He rather enjoyed being able to sit around with people that weren't going to be mean or hateful to him for no reason. He decided that sitting by themselves in a lonely part of the store wasn't any fun, so he got everyone to gather up their things, and they went over to Florean Fortescue's Ice cream Parlor. Harry ordered a simple chocolate milkshake, as well as some Poképuffs (frosted sweet Poképuffs to be exact, Though it was only at N's suggestion) for Eevee. He smiled when the diminutive fox started to chow down happily, his face one of pure bliss and contentedness. It was really quite adorable, now that he thought about it. There were all kinds of Pokémon in the area that they were in, ranging from the absurdly small, to the incredibly large. That being said, the sight of all of the people and Pokémon interacting was amazing to behold.

They eventually finished with their meals, and approached one of the vendors, a jovial-looking man with a rather adorable gold and red Pokémon that resembled a bell. He had what seemed to be a sports sampler, showcasing inter-regional sports that could be played. "Harry, look! Its got a little bit from every region! I even spotted some contest and showcase gear..." Harry had a bemused look on his face as he watched N begin to head off on another tangent. "He's certainly still energetic.." He chuckled, turning to Anthea (Concordia having joined N in geeking out over the items). who immediately went into an explanation. "Pokémon Contests and Pokémon Showcases are competitions that entail showing off a trainers skill at caring for and working together with their Pokémon." She said softly, a fond smile on her face as she watched her siblings fawning over both the Pokémon and the items that the vendor was selling.

"I know that Concordia wants to go into Pokémon Care and Grooming, and that N is always looking for the newest trinkets and and gadgets to spoil shadow rotten... but they both seem to ramble on and on if they get excited.. It definitely gets exhausting sometimes." Harry gave her a crooked grin. "Honestly, I think its a bit refreshing." he remarked, startling Anthea into a grin. "My family before I actually came over to the main island of Zodia was the Epitome of boring. Meeting you guys splashed a bit of color into my life, so I suppose that makes it feel nice?" Anthea ruffled Harry's hair, causing the preteen to squawk in protest.

"I guess so. I think you're right, maybe I should look at it like that from now on!" Anthea laughed, before turning to the vendor, and passing him her credit card. "I'll take 3, along with an extra set of berry pots, An ApriBlender and a starter kit for growing berries." the man seemed happy to oblige, and neatly packaged the items, the bell-like Pokémon using psychic to move the items over to N and Concordia. N gave the Pokémon a happy smile, thanking both the Pokémon and the vendor for selling them the items.

"Hey, Harry... have you ever tried Apricorn juice before?" Concordia asked, popping several of the brightly colored fruits into the blender. "No, I don't think I have..." He mused, a curious look on his face. "What's it taste like?" N tilted his head, thinking about Harry's question. "That depends on the Apricorns you put in it to be honest... they can be dry, bitter, sweet, spicy, or sour, or anything in between." he chimed in, frowning. "The black apricorns have a really vivid flavor, while the white ones hardly taste like anything at all! And everyone has a favorite flavor for them, there's a lot of... am I rambling again?" Harry immediately shook his head, a lopsided grin on his face. "No, its fine N! I did ask, didn't I?"

A fantastic way to end the day, if he did say so himself.
