Hey everyone!
I hope you are all doing good.
I just want to wish all of my readers a Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year. Here is my present to you. A new chapter of Wish Granted :)
I hope you all will enjoy it.
So here we go.
Chapter 13...
Chapter 13: Endgame
"Is it visible?" You asked them as you turned around so they could inspect you from all angles.
"Nope. It looks good." Kristoff said and the others soon nodded in agreement.
"All right, good. Now, let's go." You said and all of you soon left Pabbi's apartment.
Pabbi watched you leave.
"Good luck everyone. You will need it." He said calmly.
Out on the streets you could see huge crowds of people, all heading in one direction. Ifer's castle.
"There's so many people…" Vanessa almost whispered and you nodded.
"Yeah… All heading to pledge their lives to a madman. Or…. A half balrog… uhm… You know what I mean…" Kristoff said.
"Well, if you ask me, it is a hell of a lot better than dying." You said and they looked at each other.
"Well, some would disagree with you there. Some people would rather die than having their freedom taken from them." Hans said and you looked at them.
"I know. But at least you're still alive. You'll have the chance to fight back. To take back your freedom. And that's what we're doing right now." You said calmly.
"That's… very true." He mumbled.
After a little while you could see the castle getting closer and closer.
You hid behind a corner just a block from where the bridge that crossed the moat was located. You could see the entrance, and see the crowds of people coming and going. Two very huge bat like creatures stood at each side of the door, guarding it. From what it looked like for you, they only let in groups of no more than twenty people at a time.
"All right, listen. Getting into the Castle seems easy enough. They only let in groups of twenty people at a time, so we should be good if we blend in with the crowd." You said as you checked one last time to see if your sword was hidden well enough. It was, so you looked at all of them.
"Ready to do this?"
They nodded.
"Let's go then."
You got up and quickly left the alley you were hiding in to silently blend in with the crowd.
Soon you had reached the bridge and as you crossed it you could both see and hear the lava flowing in the moat beneath you and feel the heat radiating from it.
As you reached the door you were stopped by the guards and you looked at them. They were huge creatures that looked like giant bats on two legs, with big pointy ears, razor sharp teeth and large wings with sharp claws to top it off.
"No more than twenty!" The guard growled as he began ushering people inside.
The guards opened the castle doors and as you stepped into the castle you found yourself in a round chamber with more guards and a door at the other side of the room. There were twenty people in your group, but you could see that the groups were split up into even smaller groups as they entered what you assumed was Ifer's chamber.
"Now what?" Hans asked and you sighed.
"Now… we wait."
You decided to check out the room while you waited and began wandering around after letting the others know. As you walked into one of the quieter areas of the room you suddenly felt someone grab you and turning you around.
You were about to punch your assailant but stopped dead in your tracks as you saw who it was.
"Kevin?!" You almost shouted as you saw who it was.
"(F/N)?!" Kevin's eyes almost popped out of his head at the sight of you.
"It really is you! But, you died! How is this even possible?! How are you alive?! And another thing! What is Elsa? Like, what is she really? I know she's not a human!"
You quickly covered his mouth, shutting him up.
"Not so loud! Look Kevin. This is too big and too much to explain right now and I don't have time right now. I have to make sure I get to go with the next group." You said calmly before releasing your grip on Kevin's shoulders.
"I have to go now. You just… have to trust me on this one, Kevin."
You turned around to walk away as you heard Kevin call your name again, but what he said as you turned around and looked at him was not what you had expected.
"(F/N), I'm sorry. I'm truly sorry…. Save Elsa."
You nodded before you made your way back to Anna, Hans, Kristoff and Vanessa.
Finally, after a little while, you, Anna, Kristoff, Hans and Vanessa were let into Ifer's chamber.
As soon as you entered the chamber you quickly snuck away and made your way over to a pillar and crouched down as you hid behind it.
His chamber was huge and oval shaped, with pillars and a huge throne at the other end of the room. Ifer was sitting on his throne, and not far behind him they could see someone they knew.
Even though her hair was darker, and her light blue silky blouse had now turned red underneath a jacket that was in a burgundy color and the snowflake shaped pin that fastened it had changed colors to scarlet red, and the pattern in the collar of her jacket had gone from golden to blood red, she was still Elsa.
"Elsa…" Anna whispered as she approached the throne with the others.
Elsa looked beyond saddened as she saw them.
"No… Not you…" she whispered to herself.
"SO, YOU HAVE COME TO ACCEPT YOUR FATE." Ifer said, smirking as he too recognized the group that had entered his chamber.
"Yes…" Anna said calmly.
"THEN KNEEL!" He bellowed, his voice booming through the hall.
From your position behind one of the pillars you could see that Anna and your friends quickly obeyed Ifer's orders and kneeled in front of his throne.
"NOW, I WANT TO HEAR YOU BEG TO BE MY SERVANTS FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFES!" Ifer roared.
Anna gulped. She hoped you were ready and that your plan would work.
They began to pledge their loyalty as you waited for the right moment.
"HA! ISN'T THIS A SIGHT FOR SORE EYES." Ifer said, smirking.
"MY ENEMIES, DOWN ON THEIR KNEES BEGGING ME TO LET THEM SERVE ME AS THEY MOURN THEIR DEAD FRIEND."
As Ifer continued talking, Elsa could see that Anna was looking discreetly at her.
Anna's eyes subtly began hinting towards something she could not see, and it made Elsa confused for a while.
She followed her eyes and what she saw made her clasp her hand over her mouth and silently gasp. There you were. Hiding behind the pillar in the very back of the room. She couldn't believe her eyes. You were alive.
Suddenly your eyes met hers and she could feel herself being filled with joy and an indescribable happiness her as her eyes looked into yours.
She quietly made her way over to you as Ifer continued to talk to Anna and the others.
As she reached the pillar you smiled as you saw her shocked expression. She tried to say something but seemed too stunned at seeing you alive to utter even a word.
You smiled as you gently hugged her, finally holding her in your arms again.
"(F/N)…" She managed to whisper as she hugged you for a few more seconds before letting you go and instead looked onto your eyes.
"I thought you were…I thought I'd never see you again…" She whispered.
You smiled a bit.
"I'm here now…"
Elsa suddenly got a worried expression.
(F/N)… I'm so happy you're alive, and to have met you again but… Ifer will kill you if he sees you… You have to…"
Her words were cut short as you gently placed a finger on her lips.
"Elsa… Where is the lamp?" You asked calmly.
She looked towards Ifer and as you followed her gaze your eyes landed on a table right behind Ifer's throne, and there you could see the lamp.
You nodded as you looked back at Elsa. '
"All right… I got this. Don't worry." You smiled a bit.
"Will you trust me one more time Elsa?" You asked and she gave you a small smile back.
"Always…"
You nodded with a smile before you slowly began to approach the throne from the side of the room, out of sight for Ifer.
Suddenly you stopped and Elsa looked at you a bit puzzled as your hand reached into your pocket, and you crouched down and seemingly put something down on the floor before you continued making your way over to the table.
As you slowly got closer to the table, you could hear Ifer finally stop mocking Anna, Kristoff Hans and Vanessa.
"LUCKY FOR YOU I AM SO MERCIFUL THAT I WILL SPARE YOUR LIFES, DESPITE ALL THE TROUBLE YOU'VE CAUSED ME. SO, I WILL LET YOU SEREVE ME. AND TRUST ME, IT WILL BE A PLEASURE TO SERVE ME.
He smirked.
"A PLEASURE FOR ME THAT IS. I JUST HAVE ONE QUESTION…" He added before he leaned a bit forward.
"DID YOU REALLY THINK I WOULDN'T NOTICE?"
As he asked the question his long tail suddenly came swooping, wrapping itself around your ankle and you let out a yelp as you were thrown across the room.
"(F/N)!" Elsa gasped.
In seconds you hit Anna and the others, landing on top of them and you all ended up in a pile on the floor in front of the throne. The fall also made you lose the sword as it landed not too far away from you.
"YOU DISAPPOINT ME (F/N)." Ifer said as he got up from his throne and walked towards you.
"I COULD SENSE YOU THE WHOLE TIME. I FIND IT AMUSING THAT YOU EVEN THOUGHT THAT YOU COULD PULL OFF THIS STUPID RESCUE. BUT NOW, IT'S TIME FOR YOU TO DIE!"
Ifer let out a roar as he charged at you and you leaped out of the way, separating you from the others.
Ifer then quickly lifted his hand and snapped his fingers and soon flames surrounded Anna, Kristoff, Hans and Vanessa, making them unable to interfere.
"(F/N)!" Anna screamed.
"It's all right Anna. Stay calm." You reassured her before Ifer's tail hit you again, throwing you around a second time. This time, however, you ended up landing closer to the sword and you quickly got up and drew the blade and the blue flames instantly engulfed the blade.
You swung the sword hard, hitting Ifer's outstretched hand, cutting it.
Ifer roared in pain as he looked at the sword in disbelief.
"I'm not afraid of you Ifer." You said calmly, your hands holding the sword with a firm grip.
Ifer's eyes got even darker as he got up.
"YOU SHOULD BE, BOY." He said in an eerily calm voice before he all of a sudden started to grow.
You backed up a bit as Ifer's body grew, making his body enormously big to support his horns and tail that had grown to almost twice the size as they were before. Even his skin seemed to darken and you could swear you could almost see fire coming out of his eyes.
You got read and not even a second later Ifer charged at you, head first.
"DIE!" He roared and you backed up a bit before swinging your sword again.
As Ifer swung his arm you jumped out of the way, barely avoiding his claws from slicing right through you.
"Too close…" You mumbled as you tried cutting Ifer, the blue flames making him back up.
"I need to get around him…." You mumble to yourself as you looked around.
Suddenly you saw an opportunity.
As Ifer swung his tail you managed to get around him, swinging your sword and cutting his tail almost at the base before you drove the blade of the sword into the back of Ifer's leg, all the way up to the hilt.
Ifer roared in pain and you looked at the lamp and seized the opportunity to make a go at it.
You were a fast runner but your attempt was futlile however as Ifer quickly pulled the sword out of his leg and composed himself before he grabbed you, dragged you away from the lamp, picked you up and slammed you into the ground before he proceeded to crush your body.
You could feel the pressure on your chest and lungs and you soon began to cough and gasp for air as Ifer's brute force slowly crushed you.
"No! (F/N)!" Anna screamed from where she was trapped in the circle of flames.
"(F/N)! Stop it! Please!" Elsa begged but Ifer just glared at her.
"NO! I WON*T LET HIM LIVE THIS TIME!" He yelled as he continued.
Your vision became blurry when Ifer suddenly roared in pain again, letting you go.
As he turned around everyone's eyes widened in surprise as they saw who it was.
Kevin had managed to get into the chambers, picked up the sword and stabbed Ifer's other leg, also driving the sword in all the way up to the hilt.
"YOU LITTLE INSECT!" Ifer lifted his hand slapping Kevin so hard he flew a few feet away. He landed in a corner with a thud, grunting from the painful landing.
"Kevin….!" You shouted but your voice cracked as Ifer went back to crush your body.
"It doesn't matter if you kill me, Ifer." You managed to utter.
"Even if you kill me, someone will stop you, because I know you're not immortal, and if I have a weapon that can harm you, they can just find another one."
Ifer stopped what he was doing and stared at you for a few seconds before he turned to Elsa.
"ELSA! I KNOW WHAT MY THIRD WISH WILL BE! I WISH THAT YOU GRANT ME IMMORTALITY!"
Elsa hesitated a bit but Ifer let out a huge roar.
"NOW!"
Elsa sighed and lifted her hand as she snapped her fingers.
To her and Ifer's surprise nothing happened and the room fell silent for a few seconds.
"WHAT?! WHAT IS HAPPENING?! GRANT ME IMMORTAILTY NOW!" Ifer bellowed but Elsa looked just as confused.
"I don't know why it's not working, Master." She tried to explain.
Ifer was about to lash out at her as you quickly intervened.
"You should know how her powers work, Ifer. Whoever holds the lamp is her master."
Ifer looked at you.
"What the hell are you talking about? The lamp is…." He turned around and stopped mid-sentence as he saw that the lamp was no longer at the table.
He let out another ear-piercing roar as he tightened his grip on you for a few seconds.
"WHERE IS THE LAMP?!" he asked but you just looked him.
"You've overlooked the little guy, Ifer. NEVER overlook the little guy. Olaf, come forth." You said calmly.
Olaf soon appeared form behind the same pilar you had been hiding behind, dragging the lamp with him.
The sight of a ferret with a lamp made Ifer smirk before he looked at you again.
"HA! DO YOU REALLY THINK A FERRET CAN SAVE YOU?! ANIMALS CAN'T TALK SO THEY CAN'T MAKE WISHES!"
You didn't even flinch.
"You are forgetting something Ifer. Since you've followed my time together with Elsa with such a keen eye, you should remember that I was granted a free wish.
Now it was your time to smirk as you looked at Olaf.
"Now." You said calmly and Olaf quickly out his small paws on the lamp and rubbed it before speaking up.
"I wish Ifer was a human!"
Ifer's eyes widened at the sound of Olaf's voice and he instantly dropped you to the ground. You hit the ground pretty hard and let out a yell as pain shot through your body as your ankle was shattered.
Ifer charged forward but it was too late. As his giant hand slammed into the ground it was enveloped by blue light. The blue light quickly started flowing up his arm and through his whole body.
Suddenly Elsa appeared next to Olaf, but this time her blonde hair was back, and she was again wearing her light blue silky blouse underneath an ice blue jacket fastened with an ice blue pin shaped like a snowflake and a golden pattern in the collar of the jacket.
Only her demeanor was different, and this was a side none of you had seen of Elsa before. She was angry. No, not angry. She was beyond furious.
"You used me Ifer! You used me to cause fear and pain in so many innocent people! I caused so much damage and YOU harmed my friends and nearly killed the one I love! NEVER AGAIN!" She screamed.
As she lifted her hands the blue light completely absorbed Ifer.
Moments later, as soon as it appeared, the blue light disappeared. It vanished and all you could do was stare.
Ifer was laying on the ground but he was unrecognizable. He was no longer the big, strong and mighty demon, but a small old man, without his horns, fangs or tail, and so weak he could not even stand up on his own two legs.
The flames that had cut Anna, Kristoff, Hans and Vanessa off from the battle quickly faded away and Anna and Vanessa were quick to run up to you and Elsa who was already by your side.
"(F/N), are you ok?!" Anna asked worried.
You made a face as you tried to move.
"My ankle is shattered…" You mumbled.
They helped you to your feet and you leaned on Elsa and Anna for support as you saw that Hans had run over to Kevin to check upon him.
You looked at Kevin as he was helped to his feet by Hans.
"Kevin. Thank you." You said and Kevin just slightly nodded.
Olaf looked at everyone, then at Elsa before he spoke up again.
"I know what my second wish will be, Elsa. I wish that everything goes back to normal. That everyone who has been injured will be healed and the damages to the City repaired. Oh, and I also want you to erase people's memories of this events. Except us. No one except us needs to remember this."
Elsa smiled as she nodded.
"As my Master wishes."
She snapped her fingers and soon you were all lifted up into the air as the blue light enveloped all of you. You could feel it gently fill you and feel your shattered ankle begin to heal again. It was a strange but not unpleasant feeling.
When you landed back on the ground again you could see that you were no longer in Ifer's Castle. The castle itself was gone. Instead, you were standing in the middle of the soccer stadium that was located in the middle of the city. Even the sky above was clear again.
"Elsa. Please give me your hands." Olaf said.
As Elsa crouched down and reached out her hands, Olaf pushed the lamp into them.
"My third and final wish is for you to give this to (F/N). You two belong together." He said smiling.
Elsa smiled as she picked him up and kissed him on his head.
"You're the bravest ferret I've ever met" she declared and even though he was a ferret you could easily tell he was flustered as he ran up to you and hid in your pocket.
Elsa picked up the lamp and brought it to you as she smiled gently. '
"That was absolutely crazy, (F/N)." She said and you gave her a small smile.
"Well, people always do crazy things...when they're in love."
That made Elsa smile as she slowly placed her hands on your cheeks and gently pulled you into a passionate kiss.
You returned the kiss with just as much passion, feeling her lips against yours as you wrapped your arms around her, holding her as close as you could. You had missed her. All of her. Her body, her lips but most of all. The person she was, what she made you feel, and you knew that you loved her not only for who she was, but also for who you were when you were with her.
Soon you broke the kiss as you remembered you were not alone and Elsa blushed when she looked at Anna and the others standing there with grins and smiles on their faces.
After a few minutes Anna looked at you.
"What are going to do with him?" She asked and pointed at Ifer who was laying on the ground.
"Leave him." You said as you shook your head.
"He is not our concern. Not anymore." You looked at everyone and gave them a smile.
"Let's go home." You turned to look at Kevin.
"All of us."
Kevin returned the smiled and nodded as you took Elsa's hand in yours and she smiled.
"This one is on me. As a thank you for the rescue." She said, snapping her fingers and soon you were all gone, leaving Ifer behind.
An hour later a mysterious figure came walking into the stadium and towards Ifer who was still laying on the ground.
As the person reached Ifer, he looked at him.
"You?" He managed to stutter but the person gently placed a hand on his head.
"It is ok, Ifer. You've suffered enough now."
The person's voice was calm and soothing and it made Ifer smile a little bit.
"Ifer. It's time for you to rest. I grant you your peace." The person said and Ifer immediately vanished in a bright blue light.
The person then looked at the place you and your friends had been standing, as he smiled.
"It's time…" He said calmly before leaving the stadium as all the lights were turned off.
And that's it!
Finally Ifer is beaten and Elsa is safe, huh?
I hope you all enjoyed reading this chapter.
