Guest Omake - Dragons...

(By ShadowVulpix)

"Hey Taylor?" The girl glanced up from her book, raising an eyebrow at the Tinker who'd just walked in.

"Hi Kevin." She waved, making a bookmark to hold her place. "Something wrong?"

"No, nothing's wrong." Kevin smiled, taking a seat at the BBFO office table. "Though I was wondering if you and Varga would be open to something."

"Oh?" Her eyebrow rose slightly higher, while an identical clone formed at her side and sat on her tail, cocking her head.

"What sort of something, Kevin?" The Varga asked through the second girl.

"Well, Randall and I were talking the other day, and we realised that we'd never bothered to do any sort of send-off for our streams and the like…"

"I didn't realise you were going to stop." Taylor interrupted. "How come?"

"We're probably going to end up with a lot to do here, given you and your dad seem to be trying to single-handedly repair the entire bay." He grinned. "Not that we have a problem with that, of course. Things have never been better."

"Which I'm certainly glad for." Taylor replied. "But you were saying?"

"Right. So we were planning on doing some sort of farewell for the channel, given that it's likely we're stopping doing most of it." Kevin reached into his pocket, handing over a notepad. "We wrote that up last night, and were wondering if you'd be open to joining in on it." Curious, Taylor took the small book, flipping it open to the marked page. Varga peered over her shoulder to read it.

Moments later, they both started grinning.

"Oh yes, I think we'd be open to something." She smirked.

"It'd need some more work, we think, since we still don't know what you're really capable of, and neither of us were really sure how to do it, but…" Kevin trailed off as the Varga fished Taylor's phone from her pocket, scrolling through the numbers.

"Hello, Lisa." He said, his voice pattern changing to mimic Taylor's. "When you've got a moment, could you come over to the BBFO, please? We've got something we'd like your opinion on." He listened for a moment more, then nodded. "Great. See you in a second." Hanging up the phone and putting it back into Taylor's pocket, he grinned widely. "There. Now we can edit it properly." Kevin laughed.

"I should go and get Randall." He decided, standing.

"Hey, maybe we should call Dragon as well." Taylor suggested slyly. "Maybe she'll let us borrow some drones to record it properly."

"We have the Snitch." Kevin reminded her.

"It also means we'd be able to find somewhere private to do this in." She added.

"Give me a minute, then we can decide on that." The Tinker left the building, waving to Lisa as he passed her, and went to get Randall. From there,
they could really get started.

"Amy!" Vicky yelled across the hall.

"What is it, Vicky?" Amy sighed, putting her book down and rolling off the bed.

"Have you seen what your crazy friends have just done?" Her sister demanded, floating over to her.

"No?" She raised an eyebrow. "They do a lot of weird things. What's so different about this one?"

"This." Vicky almost shoved her phone under her nose, making Amy blink and lean back slightly to see the screen. It was a still from a video, one from Über and Leet's channel, and Amy had to force down a grin.

Dammit Taylor, she thought, why didn't you tell me about this?

The frame showed an image of Kaiju, with a half amused look on her face, holding her hands near her head. In one, she was holding Kevin and Randall, who were wearing one of their costumes from a game she didn't recognise, likely made by Taylor for them to use. Both of them seemed a little confused, along with a bit of hidden amusement that she had noticed in Taylor's body language.

In the other, though…

A fairly large dragon, about twenty feet tall if she had to guess, was carefully balanced on Kaiju's hand, using its large wings to stay steady. This blocked most of its expression, but Amy assumed it looked embarrassed, given what she could read in its body language.

She spent a moment being briefly amused that she could read the utterly alien body language in the first place, before refocusing.

"I have absolutely no idea." Amy admitted. "Though I'd like to find out."

"Wouldn't we all?" Vicky sighed.

"What's that actually from?"

"Something from Über and Leet's channel. Based off of Skyrim, according to the description on it. Apparently they're stopping doing the videos, or at least slowing them down a lot, so they bribed a new Family member who was struggling with an introduction into working with them for a sort of farewell." Vicky raised an eyebrow. "I'm surprised you didn't know."

"I don't know everything about the Family, Vicky." She retorted, before heading back into her room to get her phone. "Wonder if Saurial's available…" Searching her contacts, she picked Taylor's number, figuring that that would be easier to explain than having Saurial's number.

"Hello?"

"Taylor." Amy deadpanned. "Is Saurial there with you?"

"Yes…?" The other girl seemed amused. "Why?"

"I'd like to speak to her about something, please."

"Is this about the video?"

"It's about the video, yes. Vicky just showed it me."

"Hang on then." The phone went quiet for a minute, the pause likely just for effect, before 'Saurial's voice came across. "Hi Amy."

"Saurial, who's the new member, and why hadn't I heard anything about it?" Amy half asked, half demanded. "You said you were going to warn me beforehand."

"Ah. Yeah, it was sort of a last minute thing. He wasn't really supposed to be coming out to the public for a while yet, but he came up to ask for help picking a name. Über and Leet were around at the time, and…" She trailed off with the impression of a shrug. "You know what they can be like."

"I do." Amy sighed. "So, what name did they give him? Vicky's just shown me the image."

"The boys ended up giving the name Alduin. Apparently it's the main boss of the game, or something? Not really sure." She could hear Taylor's grin. "If he's around the next time you drop by, I'll introduce him."

"Alright." Amy decided. "And Kaiju?"

"She was telling him off for not giving proper warning about what they were doing, in case someone got hurt. Ianthe wasn't around the day that was recorded, after all, and Metis was busy."

"I see." She pinched the bridge of her nose for a second. "Alright. You guys have a dragon now, and his English name is picked from a video game. I can deal with this, I guess."

"Of course you can, Amy! You deal with us on an almost day to day basis, after all." The reptilian girl sounded far too cheerful for her liking.

"Ok. Goodbye, Saurial. Say bye to Taylor for me, too."

"Will do!" Amy hung up and dropped the phone on her bed, following it a moment later. She covered her face.

"I leave them alone for a day…" She groaned. "There's no way Metis wasn't involved in planning that." Or Lisa, to be accurate, she thought sourly, it's practically impossible to think that she wouldn't join in on something like this.

"What happened?"

"New Family member couldn't think of a name or way introduce themselves, like you said." Amy sighed. "Über and Leet were around the day he showed up. They apparently corrupted him. Saurial seems to think it was hilarious."

"What don't they find hilarious." Vicky stated, floating forwards slightly. "Oh well. Cheer up, Ames, it's over now."

I hope, the girl thought, but with Taylor, it never is. Not to mention the rest of them. Amy sighed again.

"I suppose. I might have to see if I can track this new one down, though. Just to say hi."

"I think I'll pass on that," Vicky said nervously. "He must be about twenty feet tall, and he looks a lot scarier than Kaiju, somehow."

"But just think, Vicky," Amy grinned suddenly. "You could find some way to set up air races with him!"

Yeah, Amy thought, as Vicky floated away looking contemplative, I'm just as bad, aren't I?
