Chapter 1

John's Journal

November 2, 2005

Jericho, California

Andi slowly wrapped the fluffy towel around her body since she had taken a nice hot shower, to calm her growing nerves. Ever since John had told her about knowing something about her father, she hadn't been able to get any information out of him for what had happened, which made her heart heavy with dread.

She ran her hand over the mirror cleaning it off so she could look at her reflection. Her body went rigid when she heard the door opening to the motel room. She knew that John had disappeared off to who knows where leaving her stranded all alone in the room that he had rented out for the month. She quickly grabbed the gun that she had carried into the bathroom with her, as a protection thing. She pressed her ear against the door listening to the heavy footsteps outside in the main room.

Her heart pounded in her chest as she swung the door holding the gun tightly in her hands. Her eyes locking onto two forms, one fairly dirty, like he had taken a dip into some mud, and a shaggy haired one.

"Whoa." The taller one of the two said as he looked at Andi. His cheeks flushed seeing that she was wearing only a towel.

Andi's eyes narrowed as she looked at the two intruders, her knuckles turning white from how tight she was holding onto her pistol. "Who the bloody hell are you?" Her voice came out harsh and thick with her English accent.

The two of them raised their hands up. It was like they hadn't expected her to be there or something.

"I'll ask you again, who the bloody hell are you?" She demanded to know the answer of who they were. There was no way that John would tell his boys that she was there, and she knew that Sam was away at college, but John had taken her with him one time to check on Sam while he was in Palo Alto.

"Whoa, whoa…" Sam said waving his hands looking at her with wide eyes. He didn't want to end up shot because of a little misunderstanding. "We're looking for John."

"Winchester?" Her eyes bounced back and forth between the two boys trying to get a read on them, any resemblance to John would be good enough for her.

"We're his sons." Dean pointed out trying to get her to lower the gun that was starting to worry him. The last thing that he wanted was to be shot at by some hot chick only clad in a towel.

Andi blinked a few times remembering John's boys. "Sam and Dean?" She questioned as she slowly lowered the gun looking at the two of them.

Sam nodded his head. "Yes, how did you know our names?" He asked slightly confused, having the upper hand on them was something that he knew that he and his brother didn't truly like.

Andi let out a soft laugh as she fully lowered the gun to her one hand. Her other hand went to the towel clenching it tight around her body. "Blimey. I never thought I would see the two of you again… and all grown up too." She admitted as she looked at the two of them with a look of fondness over her face.

"Who the hell are you?" Dean snapped causing the woman to look at him with a coy little smile on her lips.

"Never thought you would forget my name." She said sounding a bit hurt that the two of them forgot her name. But then again she figured that ten years of being away, well that would do that to someone. She shook her head causing some water droplets to fall from her hair and into the air. "Andrea Allan-Pierce. We were friends when we were younger." Hoping to jostle some sort of memories with the boys to get them to remember who she was in their past.

Sam blinked a few times in thought. "Andi?" He asked testing her name on his tongue. It had been so long since he had said her name. He couldn't believe that it had been this long since he had seen her let alone thought about her. He remembered a scrawny 12 year old that he hung out with, but clearly she had grown up and was a beautiful young woman.

Andi smiled a small smile as she looked at the younger Winchester. "Hey, Sam…" She said softly as she put the gun down onto the table. She looked at the two of them. "John's not here." She let out a sigh thinking back to when he had left her. "He told me he would be back a little bit ago, but as you can tell… he never came back leaving me high and dry here."

She saw the concern looks etched across both of the boys' faces. She knew that they cared about their dad as much as he cared about his boys. "He never gave me any warning of where he was going to go." She gestured to around the room. "He was worried about something. He wouldn't have had me do what I did, bu putting up cats-eye shells and salt."

Dean looked at the wall that had various papers of the hunt that she and John had started.

"What have you found out?" Sam asked looking over at Andi pursing his lips together in thought. He watched her go to the rucksack that was on the couch.

Andi pulled out some clothes. "Centennial Highway victims." She said as she went to walk towards the bathroom with her clothes in her hands. She shut the door only to a crack so she could hear the boys.

"I don't get it though." Dean said looking at the wall, his brows furrowed in confusion. How could all this information point in the same direction? "I mean, different men, different jobs."

Sam crossed the room to see the wall his brother was looking at. His lips were pursed together, Dean was right, there was no way that any of this was connected.

"Ages, ethnicities. There's always a connection, right? What do these guys have in common?"

Andi opened the door fully dressed in a tank top, faded jeans, and an open green flannel that had seen better days. "We figured it out. Not Mortis Danse, devils or demons, sirens, witches or the possessed. We figured out that she's a Woman in White." She explained as she ran her hand through her dark hair causing water to fling everywhere and messing up the strands.

A cheeky smile came to Dean's lips as he looked at his brother. "You sly dogs." He then looked at Andi who had moved next to Sam, and had to admit it was nice to have the little group back together after 10 years of being apart from one another. "Alright, so if we're dealing with a woman in white. Dad would have found the corpse and destroyed it."

Andi let out a breath and shook her head. "That was what he was going to do after dropping me off, but with this new death on the Centennial Highway the other day…. Well, he hadn't found her corpse then…" She ran her hand through her hair pushing the long bangs back. "He left me here high and dry with no other information."

"She might have another weakness." Sam said as he looked at the article that they had found when they had gone to the library.

"Does it say where she's buried?" Dean asked moving a little bit wrinkling his nose at the smell from the river that he had fallen into earlier.

"No, not that I can tell. If I were Dad, though, I'd go ask her husband."Sam said tapping the photo of Constance's husband, Joseph Welch. "If he's still alive."

Andi sat down on the bed and looked up at the younger brother. "John and I went there to talk to him." Andi let out a soft scoff. "He didn't want me to go because he quote on quote didn't want me to make a mistake." She rolled her eyes at the thought. "I talked him out of it though. I'm not some weak innocent little girl that can't protect herself."

Dean let out a laugh after hearing what Andi had said.

Andi looked at Dean. "What's so funny, Dean?" She questioned her brow raising a tiny bit as she looked at the dirty young man.

"Nothing." Dean said holding up his hands. He knew from that past that she was a force to be reckoned with and it wasn't a good idea to mess with her. Dean took a breath knowing that he needed to get cleaned up, he was getting tired of smelling like a toilet. "Why don't you two, um… see if you can find the address, I'm gonna get cleaned up." He headed towards the bathroom passing both Andi and Sam.

"Hey, Dean?" Sam said softly causing the older Winchester to stop in his tracks and turn and face him. He saw the confusion written across Dean's face. "What I said earlier, about Mom and Dad, I'm sorry."

Dean held his hand up causing Sam to close his mouth like he was told to shut up. "No chick-flick moments." Dean said giving his younger brother a cheeky smile.

Sam laughed softly, shaking his head knowing that Dean hated chick-flick moments like he had just started. "Alright, Jerk."

"Bitch."

Sam laughed again knowing that he was starting to fall back into place with his big brother on the road.

Dean slowly went into the bathroom closing the door leaving Sam and Andi alone to their own vices of what to do with their time.

Sam's smile fell from his lips as he walked across the room to the mirror that was in there. There was a photo of John with a boy in a baseball hat that was Dean and a boy on John's lap which was none other than a young version of him. Sam slowly picked up the photo looking at it with a small sad smile on his lips knowing that he needed to help Dean find their father.

Andi cleared her throat as she watched the younger Winchester. She watched him turn to look at her. She smiled a small smile that was sincere. "John told me that you were out of the life." She said softly as she brought her knees up to her chest. She rested her head against her knees as she looked at Sam. "College?"

Sam swallowed the lump in his throat as he nodded his head a small smile on his lips. "Yeah." He said softly hardly trusting his voice.

Andi nodded her head softly. She knew in this line of work, hardly any hunter got out of the life, once they were drawn in… that was pretty much the end of it and there was no way to come back from that.

Sam slowly sat down looking at her. "Where did you go?" He asked softly. He wondered where she had gone since her father had passed away ten years ago. "I remember that your father Duncan had died, and you ended up disappearing with your mom without a trace." He was a bit hurt to know that she had taken off and seeing her now, it made him realize how much he truly missed her.

Andi looked down her eyes misting a little bit. Her lips pursed together into a thin line trying to figure out how she was going to tell him. She had been 12 years old when it all went down. She took a soft breath as she looked back up to him seeing the concerned gaze on his face. "I was in Great Britain." She said softly, shifting her legs back to rest her bare feet onto the floor. "Mum wanted to return home after Dad passed. She wanted to go back to what she did before she had became a hunter with my Dad." She let out a soft breath in thought. "I guess she didn't feel right if she had left me behind with anyone, but herself." She bit her lower lip softly. "I never wanted to leave you boys behind, but Mum didn't feel right if she asked your dad to watch me. He had his hands full with the two of you. He didn't need another 12 year old under his feet."

Sam looked at her a bit gobsmacked. He couldn't believe how much she revealed to him in just that short amount of time. Sam cleared his throat softly. "Wow…" He said softly finally finding his voice. "Andi, I didn't know that your mother would be willing to travel that far…"

Andi forced a small smile to her lips trying to keep her anger at bay. She still hated the idea that her mom had done such a thing by taking her that far away. "Mum was always a bit unpredictable." She said shrugging her shoulders as she slowly got up.

Sam nodded his head softly knowing that was true. He carefully pulled his phone out to see if he had gotten any phone calls or messages. A small smile came to his lips.

Andi turned her head when she heard a ping coming from her phone. She let out a soft breath as she slowly got up to her feet, brushing her hands against her worn jeans. She slowly picked her phone up with her right hand. She ran her left hand through her hair as she looked at it. Her lips pursed together as she looked to see whom it was from. She saw the name and put the phone down, she would have to answer them later when there wasn't so much stuff going on.

Dean slowly came out of the bathroom all cleaned up from his little mishap. He actually was happy that the motel had a nice pressure system that was able to get all the gunk off his body. He grabbed his jacket shrugging it onto himself. "Hey guys, I'm starving."

Andi rolled her eyes a little bit at what Dean had said about being hungry. She remembered that he was like a bottomless pit when they were younger.

"I'm gonna grab a little something to eat in that diner down the street. You two want anything?"

"No." Sam said barely looking up at Dean as he answered.

Andi shook her head at the thoughtful gesture from Dean. "I already ate a few hours ago." She said as she looked up at him.

"Aframian's buying." Dean said patting his pocket where the credit card laid.

Sam shook his head again not wanting anything to eat.

Dean shrugged his shoulders and left the motel leaving the two of them alone.

Andi let out a soft breath as Sam messed with his phone, probably listening to voicemails left by someone. She slowly picked up the journal which belonged to her father. She slowly sat down and fingered through the pages slowly taking in all of her father's etchings of everything that he had hunted.

"What?" Sam's voice rang out breaking Andi from what she was doing.

"Dude, five-oh, take off."

Sam got up to his feet concerned about why Dean had told him to take off. "What about you?"

"Uh, they kind of spotted me. Go help Andi find Dad."

Sam saw Hein approaching and he grasped Andi's arm pulling them both away from the window. He felt her fall against him knocking the air of his lungs.

"Sam." She growled out in agitation trying her best to not be loud.

"Sorry." Sam said giving her an apologetic look. "Dean told us to take off."

"What about him?" Andi questioned her eyes going wide in concern.

"The cops spotted him." Sam stated looking at her.

"Oh bloody hell." Andi said in agitation rubbing her face with her small hands. "So what does he want us to do?"

"He wants me to help you find Dad."

"Finding John?" She shook her head some. "You know that might be impossible to find him if he left me high and dry days ago, Sam. I've been searching for him since, by walking."

"You rode with him?" Sam questioned looking at her with wide eyes as he digested the new information that she had given to him.

Andi nodded her head. "Since his truck's gone, I'm stuck walking. I don't hotwire cars." She shook her head at the thought of hotwiring a car. She didn't like it, even though she knew how, she wasn't about to lower herself to that standard of stealing.

"We will use the Impala." Sam said showing her the extra set of keys that went to Dean's pride and joy.

"And Dean would allow that?" Andi asked her nose wrinkled a little bit.

"To solve this hunt, yeah he will." Sam said with a firm nod of his head. The other part of the reason why was screaming in his head, Dean would be upset if Baby was left behind.

Andi nodded her head deeming that the case was the only way that they could finish it and not get into trouble with Dean.

SPNSPN

Andi kept up with Sam as they walked up to Joseph Welch's house.

Sam looked over at Andi with his brows furrowed in concern. "You'll be okay with this, coming back?"

Andi looked up at Sam and nodded her head. "Of course I would be, why wouldn't I?"

Sam took a deep breath calming his nerves. It was the first time of him doing this since he had left. He brought his hand up and knocked on the door.

The door slowly opened revealing Joseph.

"Hi. Are you Joseph Welch?" Sam asked hopeful that Andi had the way to the place remembered. He didn't want to be getting into trouble on the first try.

"Yeah." Joseph said giving them a firm reply.

"May we talk?" Andi asked softly.

Joseph nodded his head fairly stiffly. He remembered that she had been there before, in the truck prior, but she never left the car.

SPNSPN

Joseph looked at the photo that Sam had handed to him. "Yeah, he was older, but that's him." He said as he handed the photo back to Sam. "He came by three or four days ago. Said he was a reporter… he was also with her." He gestured to Andi who walked beside Sam.

"That's right. We're working on a story together." Sam said trying to smooth everything over.

"Well, I don't know what the hell kinda story you're working on. The questions he asked me?" Joseph said his face going red with anger.

"About your wife Constance?" Sam said looking over at Joseph as he put his hands in his pockets.

"He asked me where she was buried."

"And where is that again?" Sam asked jumping at the chance to solve this and get out of the way of finishing this hunt so he could return home to his loving girlfriend, Jessica.

"What, I gotta go through this twice?"

"It's called fact-checking." Andi said looking at Joseph as she put her hands in her pockets looking around the junkyard. "If you don't mind giving the information, again."

"In a plot. Behind my old place over on Breckenridge." Joseph said to them his voice sharp with agitation.

"And why did you move?"

Andi pursed her lips together as she looked over at Sam. She knew that there were certain places that you don't go when you're interviewing someone.

"I'm not gonna live in the house where my children died." Joseph snapped looking at Sam, his eye burning in hate and anger.

Sam and Andi stopped walking causing the angry man to stop as well.

"Mr. Welch, did you ever marry again?"

"No way. Constance, she was the love of my life. Prettiest woman I ever known."

Andi looked Joseph in the eyes. "So you had the perfect happy marriage, that all girls dream of?"

"Definitely." Joseph said after a little bit of hesitation.

"Well, that should do it." Sam said pulling Andi behind him because he knew that the mouth she had on her now would most likely get her into some trouble. He looked at Joseph. "Thanks for your time." He moved to guide Andi towards the Impala only to stop suddenly and looked back at the man. "Mr. Welch, did you ever hear of a woman in white?"

Joseph turned around to face the two young hunters. "A what?"

"A woman in white." Sam said repeating himself.

"Known as a weeping woman." Andi said cutting Sam off finishing off what he was going to say.

He looked at them with a look of confusion on his face.

"It's a ghost story. Well, it's more of a phenomenon, really." Sam said, as he put his hands into his pockets walking towards him. "Um, they're spirits. They've been sighted for hundreds of years, dozens of places, in Hawaii, Mexico, lately in Arizona, Indiana. All these are different women." He stopped in front of Joseph. "You understand. But all share the same story."

"Boy, I don't care much for nonsense." Joseph said turning on his heels to walk away from the two of them.

The two younger hunters followed trying their best to get through to him.

"It's not nonsense." Andi said trying her best to keep up with the 6'4 tall Winchester. "When those women were alive, their husbands weren't faithful to them."

Joseph stopped walking his hands shaking at his sides.

"And those women, basically suffering from temporary insanity, murdered their children."

Joseph swung around facing Andi, his eyes narrowed his cheeks burning red in anger.

"Then once they realized what they had done to their children. The only thing that they could do was take their own lives. So now their spirits are cursed, walking back roads, and waterways. And if they find an unfaithful man, they kill them. And that man is never seen ever again."

"You think… You think that has something to do with… Constance? You bitch." Joseph snarled looking at her with anger filled eyes.

Andi smirked tilting her head a little bit. "You tell me…"

"I mean, maybe… maybe I made some mistakes. But no matter what I did, Constance, she never would have killed her own children."

"You certain about that?" She asked her mouth curving up into a smile.

Sam grabbed Andi's arm to keep her from launching herself at Joseph and protecting her from the angry widow.

"Now, you two get the hell out of here! And don't you dare come back!" He yelled in anger, grief was written across his face. He turned on his heels and walked towards his home.

Sam let out a soft sigh. "Now I know why Dad didn't allow you out of the car Andi. You're no longer that little girl that he knew."

Andi looked up at Sam through her lashes. "You expect me to behave?" She questioned tilting her head to the side. She then turned on her heels and went to walk away from the younger brother.

Sam let out a soft sigh. He couldn't help but wonder what had happened to Andi. She wasn't the same Andi he knew when they were younger, but he knew that age changed people over time. Sam slowly walked to the car hoping that somewhere deep down inside of her that there was some remnants of the girl he used to know.

SPNSPN

Sam drove the Impala down the road with Andi sitting next to him. His phone began to ring and he pulled it out of his pocket.

"Fake 911 phone call? Sammy, I don't know, that's pretty illegal." Dean's voice rang through the car.

Sam let out a soft chuckle causing Andi to look over at him. "You're welcome. And it wasn't fake. Andi actually did fire shots on Whiteford Road."

Andi let out a soft laugh.

"She's insane."

"Awe love you too Dean." Andi teased leaning back in the front seat.

"Listen we gotta talk." He said his voice urgent.

Andi blinked a few times, with how urgent he was talking she had a feeling that it was some bad news. And that was something that they didn't need.

"Tell me about it. So the husband was unfaithful. We are dealing with a woman in white. And she's buried behind her old home, so that should have been Dad's next stop."

"Well, that's what I'm trying to tell you guys. He's gone. Dad left Jericho leaving Andi behind for us to find her."

The color drained from Andi's face. She couldn't believe that John had left her behind in Jericho alone and he never had given her any information on what had happened to her father, which hurt her feelings.

"What? How do you know?" Sam questioned blinking a few times trying to figure out why their father had left and left Andi behind when she had been with him for who knows how long hunting.

"I've got his journal."

Andi's eyes went wide when she heard that.

"He doesn't go anywhere without that thing." Sam said taking the words right out of Andi's mouth.

"Yeah, well, he did this time."

"What's it say?" Andi asked softly her voice croaking a little bit.

"Ah, the same old ex-Marne crap, when he wants to let us know where he's going."

"Coordinates. Where to?" Sam asked as he gripped the wheel tightly in his hands.

"I'm not sure yet."

"I don't understand. I mean, what could be so important that Dad would just skip out in the middle of a job leaving Andi behind, to fend for herself alone? Dean, what the hell is going on?" Sam asked as he looked up. He slammed his feet against the breaks causing his phone to fall. He was able to at least bring the car to a stop. He breathed hard with wide eyes. "Andi, you alright?"

Andi let out a soft groan as she adjusted herself in the seat. She felt the cool air in the car knowing that they had picked up Constance.

Both of them looked into the rearview mirror seeing Constance.

"Take me home." Constance's voice came out eerily causing the two young hunters to shiver a little bit. "Take me home!"

"No." Sam said firmly to Constance.

Constance glared at the two of the young hunters and the doors lock themselves.

The two young hunters tried to reopen them, but stopped when the car began to drive itself.

Sam grabbed the wheel to steer the car, but couldn't because Constance was driving them. But ended up going back to the door to try and get out.

SPNSPN

The car slowly pulled up in front of Constance's old home and it stopped. The engine shut off and so did the headlights.

Sam looked back in the rearview mirror. "Don't do this." Sam said softly his voice pleading.

Constance's form flicked. "I can never go home." Her voice was fairly sad which tugged at their heart strings some.

"You're scared to go home." Sam said as he looked back and Constance was gone. He glanced around, his eyes fell onto Andi.

Andi moved climbing up onto his lap.

"Andi what are you doing?"

Andi shoved him back against the seat hard enough to recline the seat.

Sam struggled against Andi.

Andi looked at Sam with sad eyes. "Hold me. I'm so cold." Her voice came out in a way that he had never heard it before so broken.

"You can't kill me. I'm not unfaithful. I've never been."

A look crossed Andi's eyes. "You will be. You're not being true to yourself." She leaned down over his body. "Just hold me." Andi's head slowly leaned down kissing him.

Sam struggled against her, slowly losing the battle. After all this time, a feeling crossed his mind again. Even with her being gone for ten years, those feeling came crashing back into his mind. His hand touched the keys.

A flash of something horrible came over Andi's face causing her to slump forward, Constance gone from her body.

Sam looked around for a moment trying to spot where Constance had gone. He yelped in pain and yanked his hoodie open. Five holes had been burned through the fabric, matching Constance's fingers.

Constance flickered in front of him, her hand reaching into his chest.

A gun went off causing the glass to shatter above Sam's head and caused Constance to look up startled.

Dean approached the car firing a few more rounds at Constance.

Constance glared at him and vanished, reappearing and Dean kept firing until she disappeared fully.

Sam slowly sat up keeping Andi still from falling onto the floorboards. He reached and was able to start the car up. "I'm taking you home!" Sam put the car into gear and lurched the car forward driving it right into the house.

Dean hurried to the wreckage to his car. "Sam! Sam! Andi? You guys okay?"

"I think…"

"Can you two move?"

Sam looked down at Andi. "Yeah. Help me?"

Dean helped Andi out of the car first and then helped Sam out of the car. "There you go."

Andi let out a soft groan as she stood up on her own willpower.

Dean closed the door of his car.

They looked around and saw Constance, looking up at them glaring throwing the picture down.

A bureau scooted across the floor pinning the three hunters against the car.

The lights flicker causing Constance to look around scared.

Water poured down the staircase causing Constance to slowly go over. At the top of the stairs were her children holding hands together.

"You've come home to us, Mommy."

Constance looked at her children, distraught. Suddenly they appeared behind her. She was suddenly hugged by the two of them. She screamed as they suddenly melted into a puddle on the floor.

They pushed the bureau away from them.

Andi pursed her lips together as she rubbed her ribs.

"So this is where she drowned her kids." Dean said softly.

Sam nodded his head firmly in reply. "That's why shoe could never go home. She was too scared to face them."

"You found her weak spot." Andi said as she blinked a few times.

"Nice work, Sammy." He slapped Sam on the chest before walking away.

Sam laughed in pain. "Yeah, I wish I could say the same for you. What were you thinking shooting Casper in the face, you freak?"

"Hey. Saved both your asses."

"Are you kidding me?" Andi said looking at Dean. "What the bloody hell were you thinking, you could've hit us both."

Dean rolled his eyes scoffing some as he looked his precious car over. He knew now that there was no way that he was going to allow his brother to drive his car again. "I'll tell you another thing. If you screwed up my car?" Dean twisted around to look at the two younger hunters. "I'll kill you."

Sam laughed lightly knowing that he was just teasing, but then again he didn't know with his brother. He loved the car.

Andi shook her head lightly. "You Winchesters and your cars." Andi said letting out a little huff.

Dean turned his head to look at her. His brows furrowed in confusion. "Hey, what's that supposed to mean?"

Andi simply shook her head. "Nothing. Nothing at all." She wasn't about to tell Dean that he sounded so much like his father.

SPNSPN

Dean drove down the road while Sam sat next to him looking at the journal that their father had left for them to find. A map was on his lap and resting against his chin and shoulder was a flashlight so he could get a good look at the map.

Andi laid on the backseat resting soundly with Sam's jacket over her form to keep her warm from the air that was coming steadily from Dean's broken window.

"Okay, here's where Dad went. It's called Blackwater Ridge, Colorado." Sam said barely looking up from the map.

Dean nodded his head thinking it over for just one second. "Sounds charming. How far?"

"About six hundred miles."

"Hey, if we shag ass we could make it there by morning." Dean said thinking of how fast that they could get there from where they were at that moment.

Sam looked over at Dean hesitating for a moment. "Dean, I, um…" He didn't know what to tell him. He needed to get back to campus for that interview that was everything in his life.

Dean glanced at the road his face falling in thought. He looked back at Sam only for a short moment. "You're not going." Dean simply stated, knowing that Sam was probably going to go right back to the college and go back to his apple pie life.

"The interview's in like, ten hours. I gotta be there." Sam said softly knowing that he was probably disappointing Dean and it was one thing that he hated. "You got Andi with you now, she can help you."

"Yeah. Yeah, whatever." Dean glanced at Sam holding back his emotions. He didn't want to tell Sam that he indeed was upset with him for this choice. "I'll take you home."

Sam turned the flashlight off unsure of what to say to Dean, knowing that he had probably disappointed him in the whole going back to college and living a safe and simple life. Something that hunters never really had ever gotten a chance to do.

Dean looked back at the road again before looking back in the rearview mirror at the sound asleep you woman in the backseat of his baby. Yeah, he would have Andi with him, but it wouldn't be the same without Sam there with him. Andi wouldn't be able to fill the spot of the annoying little brother in his life.

SPNSPN

After a few hours later Dean pulled up outside of the apartment complex that Sam lived in. He still had a frown on his face. He knew that there was no way that he would be able to get his little brother back into this life. He knew that Andi wasn't going to leave him until she had an answer from John of why he had left her behind high and dry.

Sam slowly got out of the car before carefully reaching into the backseat to grab his jacket off of Andi who was sleeping. He slowly slipped it back on and carefully closed the door to not wake Andi up from her sleep. Sam leaned over to look at Dean through the open window. "Call me if you find him?"

Dean nodded his head knowing that this was probably going to be the last time that he would see his baby brother.

"And maybe I can meet up with you and Andi later, huh?" Sam asked softly knowing that it probably wouldn't be the case.

"Yeah, alright."

Sam patted the door twice and turned away before slowly making his way inside of his apartment complex.

Dean leaned towards the passenger side door, his arm going over the back of the seat and brushing against Andi's knee. "Sam?"

Sam turned to look over at Dean.

"You know, we made a hell of a team back there."

"Yeah." Sam said softly admitting the truth. They certainly did make a good team.

Dean slowly pulled away from the apartment with a soft breath leaving his lips. He knew that Sam would be safe here at college and he didn't have to worry about Sam getting into any sort of troubles.

Andi shifted on the backseat slowly waking up. "Dean?" Her voice was caked over with sleep and her heavy accent.

"Yeah, sweetheart?" Dean asked looking back in the rearview mirror at her.

"Where's Sam?" She asked as she slowly sat up in the seat.

"He's back home where he belongs."

Andi let out a soft breath. "He must be daft thinking that he can have a normal life." She said softly knowing that it was hard for hunters to adjust to the whole thing.

Dean let out a soft breath as he gripped the wheel in his hands as he drove. He knew in a way what Andi had said run true. He looked at his watch to check the time and noticed that something was very wrong. "Son of a bitch."

"What's wrong Dean?" Andi asked in confusion.

"Just hold on." He told her before he quickly jerked the wheel causing her to shriek in surprise. He quickly drove back to Sam's apartment complex. He knew that something was very wrong and it had something to do with his brother. He stopped the car and got out of it quickly. "Stay right here Andi."

"But Dean." And began before Dean cut her off.

"Stay." Dean snapped before he rushed into Sam's apartment complex.

Andi let out a soft huff crossing her arms. "Arsehole." She muttered to herself as she got out of the car in agitation. She brushed her hands against her fade jeans as she looked around the area. She couldn't believe that Dean had left her out there alone. Her eyes widened when she saw smoking coming from one of the apartments. Her hand shot over her mouth in shock. "Shite." She quickly pulled her phone out fumbling with it before calling 911 to call in the fire. She could only hope that Dean and Sam were alright and not in any sort of danger.

Dean came out pushing his younger brother out of the apartment complex.

Andi quickly rushed up to them. She threw her arms around the older Winchester. "Don't act like that again." She scolded him.

Dean patted her back lightly letting her know that he was alright.

Andi released her hold on Dean before looking at a very upset Sam. She moved towards him slowly and hugged him which caused him to hug her back more tightly allowing his tears to fall from his eyes. Andi slowly rubbed his back trying her best to soothe him from what had happened. She had no idea what was going through his head and she could only hope that within time he would tell her everything.

Not too long after the fire department showed up as well as the police.

Dean looked on with Andi standing next to him. He didn't say much to her as they watched the fire being fought. He slowly turned and patted Andi on the shoulder causing her to follow him. Dean walked over to his little brother who was at the trunk of the car and it was wide open.

Sam loaded up a shotgun that he held in his hands.

Dean looked at the trunk and then to Sam with his lips pursed together.

Andi bit her lower lip as she watched Sam knowing that what had happened wasn't easy on him, not in the least bit.

Sam looked up letting out a soft sigh. He then nodded his head before tossing the shotgun into the trunk. "We got work to do." He said as he slammed the trunk shut.

Andi slowly got into the back seat as the boys got into the front seat. She pursed her lips into a thin line. She pulled a box out of her pocket of her flannel that she wore.

Dean let out a soft sigh as he started the car up before pulling away from the place that Sam had once called home.

Andi looked out the window in silence knowing that they were going to have to look into Jess's death. She let out a soft breath running her hand through her hair as she looked over at Dean's back. "Dean?" She asked softly her voice laced with sleepiness.

Dean looked up at the rearview mirror to look at her. "Yeah, sweetheart?"

"Mind if I have a fag?" She asked softly lifting up the pack of Lucky Strike cigarettes that she had gotten out of her pocket.

Dean looked at the cigarettes. "Yeah go ahead, Andi. Mind if I take one off of you?"

Andi shook her head lightly. She pulled a smoke out for Dean to take.

Dean took it from her grateful that she was giving him one.

Andi took a soft breath and looked over at Sam. "You want one too?"

Sam nodded his head reluctantly. He needed a way to let out the stress that he was dealing with at that very moment. He lost his girlfriend and now he probably was in the world of hunting again. He had heard the stories from his Dad about how his mom had died, and Jess dying from the same thing… it wasn't coniciendence.

Andi took another and handed it to him. She hoped that maybe it would ease some of his pain that he was feeling, but she knew deep down that it wasn't going to happen. She got one out for herself and lit it up and rolled her window down some. She blew some of the smoke from her lungs before letting out a soft sigh. She ran her free hand through her hair. This was going to be a lot harder now. Whatever was going on she knew that she was going to have to stay to help Sam and to help the boys find John. She needed answers at that moment from John about what really had happened to her father ten years ago. "Now what?" She asked softly as she fiddled with her cigarette between her fingers.

"We find out what killed Jess." Sam said stiffly, his voice full of emotion of losing his girlfriend.

Andi nodded her head softly knowing that Sam was going to be going through the motions, faking it until he made it. It was something that she saw her mother go through after losing her husband. "Don't worry, Sam… we will find out who did it and kill it."

Sam didn't utter another word. He looked out the window and smoking the Lucky Strike that Andi had given him. He knew that it wouldn't help too much but he wasn't about to tell Andi, 'no' when she offered. He knew that she was just trying to help him out in some way to help with the pain that he felt in his heart. He should've never had left Jess all alone, this would've never happened if he had been there with her.

This is the end of Chapter leave a review to let me know what you think of the newest part to this story. I have an idea for the pairing later in the series, but it might end up being changed, I'm not sure yet. What did you think of John leaving Andi behind in Jericho after specifically telling her that he had information on her father's death? Do you blame her for being hurt? And what did you guys think of Constance taking over Andi's body? Let me know and I'll try to get the next chapter out as soon as possible. I think I'm going to be updating every 3-4 days to get this story pounded out. Perhaps… I'm not quite sure yet. Until next time guys. 3
