The goblin had listened to Angel's story with wide eyes. At first, he had been trying to keep a straight face but the more she talked, the more fantastical it all sounded "So," he cleared his throat when she was done "Let me get this straight… You were sent to another world after your fight with the Dark Lord and in that world, not only did you meet some vampires, there are also books about your life that are almost entirely accurate?"

"Pretty much," Angel nodded "Look, I'm aware the goblin race doesn't like witches and wizards much but I need your help with this. Voldemort has made Horcruxes and one of them should still be here in the bank." She shot the goblin in front of her a look "I propose a trade. I give you information on how I managed to break into Gringotts in the books and you give me the Horcrux."

Bloodthorn narrowed his eyes "Why should I believe that the information is valid?"

Angel sighed and pulled out the Elder Wand, just holding it in her hand loosely "I swear on my magic that everything I told you is the truth." A flash of light and a faint wind breezed through the room before Angel lit her wand with a quick Lumos "I apologize for my use of magic," she murmured "Just thought this would be easier than beating around the bush. I have a shit-ton of stuff to do and not a lot of time. My presence isn't going to stay a secret forever and I plan on taking care of as much as I can in the time that I have."

"Angel…" Bonnie spoke up, watching the goblin curiously. Since they had stepped into the bank, Bonnie had barely looked away from the goblins. Vampires and werewolves were normal to her but the magical creatures in this world… It was fantastic… "You have a plan?"

"It's not a full plan yet," Angel admitted "I have an idea but I'm going to need your help. And yours, Elijah, Kol."

Klaus looked at her with a raised eyebrow "And what about me?"

"You're going to be bait for a while if you don't mind," Angel told him, tilting her head "I'm not going to make you do it but I think it's something you'd like…"

"Hm," Klaus hummed, a smirk forming on his face "I like the way you're thinking, love."

Angel shook her head and looked back to Bloodthorn "To get back on track… I can give you what I know of the events concerning Gringotts and you give me the Cup from Lestrange's vaults. If you want Voldemort gone as much as I do, you're going to think about it." She took a card out of her pocket, something that she and Kol had been experimenting with since he got back from the dead and placed it on the desk. The cards she had were linked to her bracelet, warming up whenever the owner of the card tapped it, letting her know she was wanted. Of course, Death had a hand in helping them and the knowledge he had given her had done wonders. Half of the things they used to make these, she hadn't even heard about before she became Mistress of Death. Not that it was hard to achieve… She only had four years of shitty magical education after all "If you have made a decision, just tap the card and I'll know."

"I will discuss it with my superiors," Bloodthorn nodded, trying to imagine what Ragnuk would say to the story. It was a bit hard to tell whether or not he would believe it with the oath in place.

"Then I thank you for your help," Angel inclined her head.

She was about to stand up when Bloodthorn remembered something "There is one more thing, Lady Potter." When Angel raised her eyebrow in question, the goblin sighed and brought out a document "Since your disappearance, the Minister of Magic has been trying to get into your vaults, citing that since he had arranged a marriage with your magical guardian, he should have access to your money."

Angel blinked and hissed in pain when Klaus tightened his grip on her arm almost painfully "An arranged marriage? Who with?"

"Fudge's son," Bloodthorn told her. Before she could say anything else, he cut her off "Since you have bonded already and have been pronounced dead before, the contract is void. The reason I told you is…"

"Because they will try to control me," Angel sighed, closing her eyes tiredly. She was already regretting coming back to this world – the same world that had brought her so much pain. "I have nothing to fear from them?"

Bloodthorn shook his head "It is void. Nothing they can say or do about it. That and it has come to our attention that you have never heard your parents' will."

"My parents'…" Angel swallowed back the lump in her throat "I didn't even know that they had a will."

"Your father was Lord Potter. It is only natural that he would have one," Bloodthorn pointed out patiently. The fact that Lady Potter hadn't been raised in this world and it had been several years since she had been back, caused him to be more patient than he would be with many others. It was also in part because two of the vampires were alternating between glaring at him and looking at Angel worriedly "A great deal of information has come to light since your disappearance."

Angel looked at Elijah pleadingly, not really sure what to do. Elijah smiled at her lightly before glancing at the goblin "If you have the time to explain, that would be much appreciated."

"Of course," Bloodthorn inclined his head, mentally clearing his calendar for the next couple of hours. He pressed a button to have refreshments brought to the room, hoping that this would go over well, even if he doubted it. Much of what he had found out was… concerning.

Klaus was lying on his bed in their hotel room with Angel in his arms. The moment they reached the hotel, she had broken down. The goblin had told her a lot of things she had been thinking about for years. The more he talked, the more Angel had shut down and in the end, all of them were glad when the bad news ended.

It seemed as if the Headmaster – the person who had been as good as a grandfather to Angel when she was young – had been taking money and artefacts from Angel's vaults after he had appointed himself her magical guardian against the wishes of the Potters. He had also been paying several people – including Minister Fudge – from the money he had taken.

"What are you going to do now?" Kol asked, leaning against the doorframe.

Klaus shook his head "We do what we came here for and as soon as we're done, we'll go back."

"That's probably for the best," Kol hummed and ran a hand through his hair "You know, it's funny. I never thought that any of us would come to care about anyone like we care for Angel."

"I know what you mean," Klaus sighed, playing with Angel's long hair "With all the drama in Mystic Falls came something good."

Kol grimaced "I'll never get over the fact that mother killed me…"

Klaus looked up "I'm happy you didn't stay dead but at least you managed to stop her from killing all of us."

"Yeah," Kol mumbled, sitting down on the edge of the bed, studying Angel "Do you know what she's planning?"

Klaus shook his head "Nothing apart from the fact that she wants me to distract snake-face."

Kol huffed, crossing his arms "I wanted to do that," he pouted.

Klaus laughed at him "I'm sure you'd be able to help once in a while. I'm looking forward to antagonising him."

"I knew you would," Angel mumbled, burying her face in Klaus' chest further "Now shh."

Kol snorted "I'll let you rest, Angel. I just came by to tell you that Elijah went out."

"Where did he go?" she asked, blinking up at him tiredly.

"The Alley," Kol shrugged "If I were to guess, he went to the bookshop and won't be back until they throw him out."

Angel hummed and closed her eyes again "Sounds like 'Lijah."

Hey guys. This is going to be part of my Christmas present to you guys. I did my best to write for as many Fics as possible for Christmas but the rest didn't work yet. For the Fics that haven't been updated in this wave, I'll try to get an update out till March (I have exams in February, so I should be able to get stuff done until March).

For those interested, feel free to join my Facebook Group (NicholasFlamel's Corner) where I post snippets of chapters I write, ideas I have and finished/abandoned Fics. Link: groups/687956758591756
