It was early in the morning when a general assembly was called at the Coinless base. There were more than a few bleary eyes amongst the resistance fighters when Trini Khwan began her speech, "I'm here to address the rumours of a number of resistance fighters disappearing around the world", she began, "unfortunately they are true".

There was a general murmuring from the assembled, "What about the city of Corinth?" a voice called out. Trini looked into the crowd and found Lauren Shiba standing with her ams crossed. Next to her was her brother, Jayden, "Have the Wildforce rangers fallen?" Lauren added.

"Please, those morons couldn't fight their way out of a paper bag", Jayden snorted, much to the amusement of everyone around him.

Trini sighed and gazed at the Shiba Siblings. "Jayden I've warned you before about showing others the proper respect", Trini scolded, "and to answer your question Lauren, I have no news either way". As Jayden rolled his eyes, Trini thought what a waste of talent the blonde haired man was. Lauren on the other hand was the total opposite of her brother when she was younger. Polite and respectful, she never had a cross word with anyone. Pushing this aside, Trini continued her address, "We've increased security, so rest assured that nothing will happen to you".

"Oh yes they were truly great guard dogs", a voice called out from the back of the group. Standing brazenly in the open was the orchestrator of the attacks, "Took me a while to dispose of them, let me tell you".

"Drakon", Trini hissed, "what's happened to my guards?"

Drakon chuckled loudly, "Oh them, I paid them off. They're probably half way to Mexico by now", he paused for a moment and grinned broadly, "I kid", his face turned serious, "they're dead". From the crowd, Jayden was about to burst to the front to attack the man but Lauren held him back, "A new challenger", Drakon looked at an imaginary watch on his wrist, "well I've got a minute free, might as well keep myself warm".

Jayden looked ready to burst but he wasn't the only one. Two spin sword charged with lightning was aimed towards Drakon. The dark lord dodged the blasts easily, showing agility that a man of his size shouldn't have. Looking at each other, Jayden and Lauren charged forward with their Spin swords ready to attack. They swung them in unison towards Drakon but to their shock, he simply grabbed them with his bare hands, "Please children, the adults are talking", Drakon smirked and tossed the Shiba Siblings over his shoulder.

"You won't get away with this attack", Trini bellowed and blasted the dark lord with some stolen gun.

"Who's going to stop me", Drakon chuckled, "the Wildforce rangers has fallen and by now the SPD, Galaxy and RPM should have fallen as well". He deflected the attack away, Drakon snorted and his hands began to glow with a bright white light. With a wide sweep of his arm, the Resistance fighters were swept up in a giant bubble and began to rise into the sky.

"Bring them back", Jayden roared as he used his sword to drag himself to his feet.

"Damn I forgot about you two", Drakon pouted. The Shiba Siblings were a little unsteady but they weren't going down without a fight, "I suppose the polite thing to do would be to kill you", he began to create an energy orb in his hand, "I'll make this quick".

Drakon tossed the blast towards the Shiba's but his shock, something pulled Lauren out of the way, allowing the blast to miss Jayden.

"Three of you", Drakon chuckled, "well this won't do my evil reputation any good at all".

"Sorry Drakon", the woman began, "I've got plans for these two". Drakon chuckled " Two bad " he said, in a flash, Drakon drove the Dragon Dagger into Jayden's neck " No!" lauren screamed out as Trini grabbed the two girl and disappeared in a stream of light. Drakon stared at the spot where they had been standing for a few moments before roaring in anger. He took out his frustration on Jayden, repeatedly stabbing him over and over.

Tenaya and Lauren landed in a heap next to the main road connecting Reefside and Angel Grove. Fortunately there were no passing cars, otherwise they would be shocked by their attire, "Sorry it's been a while since I used teleporting", Trini began.

"We have to go back", Lauren demanded.

"A thank you wouldn't go amiss", Trini snorted, "but I wouldn't expect any less".

Trini beckoned them into the trees that lined the road, "we haven't got much time, Trini won't be that far behind us". She reached into her pocket and pulled out a couple of wrist mountable devices that had two power coins in them, one unseen for years, "You're going to need these", she gave the T-Rex one to Tennaya and the Tricera one to Lauren.

"Freaky looking watches", Tennaya commented as she strapped it to her wrist, "I would at least expect them to tell the time".

"They're not watches", Trini began, "they're morphers, you use them to become Ranger Sentries".

"Ranger Sentries?" Lauren asked, "Like the ones Drakon uses in his army?".

"I believe thats what they are", Tennaya replied, "and if these things really work then we could really make a difference against Drakon".

"Yeah we got our asses handed to us", Lauren looked down at her morpher, "

"Saving the world's hard work", Trini began, "When we destroy Drakon we can finally begin to rebuild this world".
