Marvel Universe Saga
Tutorial Arc
Chapter 6 – No Time to Relax
Last Time
*Rumble*
*CRASH*
Looking at the ruins of the hotel, my joyful mood evaporates as something big emerges from debris, bringing up a cloud of dirt. Not that a bit of dirt is enough to cloud the vision of my Teigu. Upon looking at it though, I let out a curse.
"Oh, come on dammit!"
The cloud disperses as the thing lets out a roar, showing its bony, skeletal form to anyone watching.
Bones, the Skeleton Dragon
Level 45
Race: Skeleton Dragon
Rank: Tier 3
HP – 10 000
MP – 100 000
"What hellish tutorial is this!?"
Lord TM11 created Bones in case you tried to do what you just did and bring down the Hyatt Hotel.
"Fucking dammit!"
03:58, February 4, 2012, Outside the Hyatt Hotel, Fuyuki City, Singularity F Dungeon
Calming down with the help of Gamer's Mind, I quickly summoned all of the Volcanic Queens that I'm able to at the moment.
"ATTACK! DON'T LET THAT BASTARD GET OFF THE GROUND!"
My Eidolons obey and quickly descend on Bones. As the Skeleton Dragon is bombarded by fireballs and fire breaths, I proceed to the next step of my quickly assembled plan. Gotta love the ability to think fast.
[Reinforce Summon] x27!
MP – 7290-6237 = 1053
All of my Volcanic Queens roar as all of their physical stats are boosted for the next three minutes. Invigorated, the Fire Elementals continue their assault on Bones.
Despite their boosted power though, Bones is too strong. With a roar of its own, the Skeleton Dragon pushes away the flames licking at its bones along with the Volcanic Queens closest to it. Bones then takes the small window of respite to release its own breath attack.
Dark miasma is fired from the Skeleton Dragon's maw like water from a hose and hits one of my Volcanic Queens. The Fire Elemental, despite its boosted END, dies in seconds, the miasma eating at its flesh until only bones remain.
"Shit! That breath attack must have the element of Death or Decay," I analyze to myself as I command my mana board to fly further away from the battle site and Bones' range. As I watch, Bones fires his Necrotic Breath at any Volcanic Queen that gets too close, killing any who is hit.
Summoning more Volcanic Queens to replace the ones Bones killed, I give them and the others new orders. "Stay away from his breath attack. Take turns to alternatively attack from his flank and back!"
My Eidolons immediately obey me and start attacking Bones' blindspots in turns. The Skeleton Dragon still is too tough to be taken down any time soon as it is losing too little HP from the attacks of my Volcanic Queens.
"This is a battle of attrition that I can win. I just need patience…" A smirk comes to my face as I watch my MP regenerate. "But why wait when I can hurry things along?"
Look out!
At Yugi's warning, I look back at the battle, only to see a huge ball of dark miasma coming in my direction.
Gasping, my eyes widen and it is thanks to Gamer's Mind that my fear doesn't stop me from trying to move out of the way of the Necrotic Bomb. It is also thanks to Magician's Robe assisting me that I manage to dodge in time to not be killed by the attack.
I don't come out unscathed though…
"AAAAHHHH!" I scream in pain as I look at my left arm; what is left of it at least. Even with the help of Gamer's Mind and Magician's Robe, I wasn't able to avoid Bones' attack completely as my left arm was clipped by the Necrotic Bomb. The dark miasma went through my END like it wasn't even there and ate my arm up to the elbow. It would have gone further hadn't it been for Magician's Robe taking action and cutting my arm below the elbow by tightening itself until the pressure cut off my limb.
HP – 600-538 = 62
You have been afflicted with the status effect [One-armed]. You have lost one of your arms.
You have been afflicted with the status effect [Bleeding]. You will lose 1% of your maximum amount of HP per second.
"SHIT!" I bellowed out in anger. Blessed be the Gamer's Mind as it is numbing the pain I'm feeling to a manageable level along with calming down my fear and panic so I can think clearly.
Grabbing the three VIT Shards that I got from bringing down the hotel, I quickly use them.
VIT – 40+15 = 55
You have gained a new Perk!
[Enhanced Health]: Passively increases HP Regen and SP Regen by 20%.
'Good, that brings my HP Regen up to 8.8 points per second. I'm still losing 6 points of HP per second, so the Bleeding status effect must consider the maximum amount of HP at the moment that it enters into effect. All in all, I'm gaining 2.8 points of health per second. Unless I'm hit by another of those attacks, I'm not dying anytime soon.'
Not that the fucker will be firing necrotic attacks at me anytime soon. As soon as I was clipped by Bones' Necrotic Bomb, my Volcanic Queens pounced on the piece of shit and ensnared it like pythons. They aren't strong enough to break his bones, but together they're more than enough to slow down his movements, allowing the Volcanic Queens not wrapped around the Skeleton Dragon to rain fire upon the motherfucker.
"Is my MP at where I need it?" I ask Yugi. I'm not taking my eyes from the shit stain again until it is dead.
Yes.
Smirking, I pour 3000 points of Mana into an Anti-Magic Bomb.
[Tactile Selective Apparition]!
The Anti-Magic Bomb is teleported to right above Bones' head and detonates with a mental command from me. The blast engulfs Bones' head and reduces it to ash.
Now, because of the patch, by Anti-Magic Bomb deals 1/3 of the MP I pour into it in damage to the target. Due to my Anti-Magic Proficiency being at the Novice level, however, my Anti-Magic spells cost 20% more than they should. Add to it that the head is a critical part of the body and thus attacks that hit it cause critical damage, which is a three times multiplier, AND if you do enough damage to a critical body part it causes death…
You have defeated Bones the Skeleton Dragon!
225 Credits!
+2250 EXP!
You have gained a Rare Gacha Ticket!
You have gained a Dragonbone Necro Sword!
Sighing in relief now that Bones has been dealt with, I descend back down to a roof below, dismissing all but one of my Volcanic Queens. Landing on the roof, I take a look at my stump for a left arm. It looks much like Shanks' arm after he lost it to that Sea King while saving Luffy. And it's not healing either.
"Will I get my arm back if I level up, Yugi?"
Yes. [One-armed] is a status effect and all status effects are ridden off when you level up.
Sighing again, my lips turn into a smile, "That's a relief." I didn't even want to think of what my life would be like if I had one less arm. Not only that, but I'd have to come up with an excuse to explain to the Parkers, the Watsons, and Ned why I was suddenly bereft of one arm.
Putting that out of my mind, for now, I focus instead on my gains. The Dragonbone Necro Sword is easily my best weapon right now, but I can't wield it correctly yet. Besides, while I plan to go for a Spellsword build, I'm still in the Spellcaster phase and so quite fragile physically. No way am I using a close-ranged weapon before I get a Warrior Job Class.
As for my second reward…
"What the hell is a Gacha Ticket?"
It's the replacement of Saint Quartz. It's one of the changes that came with the TM11's patch.
"I see. Considering that it is a Rare Gacha Ticket, I take it there are other rarities?"
Correct. They go as such: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Ultra Rare, and Legendary. Each Gacha Ticket can give you an item of the same rarity as it from the Gacha. However, they can also give items from rarities above theirs, though the odds of that are smaller as the rarity goes up.
For example, a Rare Gacha Ticket will not give you a Common or Uncommon item. It most likely will give you a Rare item, but there's also the possibility of it giving you an Ultra Rare item or a Legendary item. However, the odds of a Rare Gacha Ticket giving you those items are about 29% and 1% respectively.
"Hm, I see." Equipping the Sword of Boudicca for its LCK boost, I tell Yugi, "Let's spin the Gacha then."
Starting the Gacha…
Rolling….
.
.
.
You have gained a new item!
[Luce and Ombra]: A pair of personally customized, semi-automatic pistols made by the Dark Knight Sparda, designed for rapid-fire. In modern times, they came to be wielded by the demoness Trish.
Taking the dual pistols in my hands and appreciating them, I say, "Nice. Not the best roll, but certainly not the worst either." Putting the guns in my inventory, I look at what I got from my business at the hotel. Various sets of Iron and Steel Armor, weapons enchanted with Fire, Shock, Frost, and Poison Damage, ten copies of the Black Robes of Necromancy, one Necromancer's Amulet, three VIT Stat Shards that I already used, and a bunch of Bone Meal.
It's the Stat Points that I got that have my attention though. I have a total of 10 Stat Points, 5 short of being able to reach 50 with STR or AGI.
"One more level up," I speak to myself. One more level up and I'll get my arm back and finally be able to get rid of one of my Traits. Nothing is stopping me from using the Stat Points I have already and if there's one thing that Bones taught me, is that I need to be faster.
AGI – (35 + 10)/2 = 23
My eye twitches at having such a low number for one of my most important stats. One more level up…
Taking a deep breath, I look at my map of the city. Finding the church, I put a direction marker on its location so I can follow it on my HUD. Jumping onto my Volcanic Queen's neck, I give it the directions to the church.
"To the southeast! Let's see if there's a shitty priest for me to use as a punching bag."
12:50, February 4, 2012, Forest Hills, Queens, New York
Francis Klum isn't someone prone to introspection, but with his brother blaring his stupid country music as he drives them through the streets of Forest Hills, he doesn't have much else to do.
Thinking back on his childhood isn't something he likes to do either. He has enough bad memories of his junkie of a father that he sometimes still has nightmares to this day. If it isn't the memories of the beatings he and his brother got from their sperm donor keeping him up at night, then it is the flashbacks of him living on the streets of Las Vegas alongside Garrison. Both of them had to spill blood, sweat, and tears just to survive. Thankfully, the only things their good-for-nothing parents gave them were actually helpful in keeping him and Garrison alive. With him being capable of controlling others through his mind and Garrison having the power to teleport objects, life became a lot easier. By the time he and Garrison were in their twenties, they ran the biggest drug trade in the north region of Nevada.
And then they met her. Madame Mystery.
Quite frankly, that woman scared Francis shitless. Not only is she capable of stopping his powers from working on her, but she can read his mind like it's an open book. As if that isn't enough, she can also levitate things, create fire, control water, and a bunch of other shit. It's bullshit really because no Mutant has any right to have as many powers as she does.
Ever since he and Garrison met her, they went from kings to gofers. She took over their operation and there wasn't anything that Francis or his brother could do about it.
And now she sent them to get some kid. Francis doesn't know why Madame Mystery wants this Elias Xavier and he frankly doesn't care. He may feel a bit sorry for the kid, but he wants to keep living.
Feeling someone tap on his shoulder, Francis looks at his older brother Garrison, only now realizing that the car had stopped.
"What?"
"We're here. This is the address of the kid that the bitch wants," his brother replied with a frown.
Garrison has always been one to hold a grudge the longest between the both of them. He didn't like being bossed around after both of them gained their freedom, so, understandably, he holds a grudge against Madame Mystery. His bad temper also doesn't help things and he has suffered at the hands of their boss more than once for being disrespectful.
Putting that aside, Francis looks past Garrison and at the house across the street, the home of their target. The distance is well within the range of his power, so he should be able to easily sense the kid's mind and 'convince' him to come out and get inside their car.
Concentrating, Francis tries to feel for the kid's mind. Finding him, he goes to enter it when he suddenly slams against a wall, for a lack of a better term.
"Hah!" Francis cries out in pain as he holds his head, a headache forming after being so roughly rebuffed.
"What is it?" Garrison questions with worry in his eyes. The last time he saw Francis do that was… when that bitch blocked his powers! His eyes widen as he connects the dots.
"Damn! I don't know how, but the kid's mind is blocked from me. Just like…" Francis starts.
"Just like the bitch!" his brother finishes, scowling deeper at the reminder of how weak they are when compared to her.
"Yeah," Francis sighs. "Well, I guess we know now why she wants the kid. Or at least one reason."
"I don't care," Garrison grunts as he starts the car. "It doesn't change the fact that we have to get the kid, as much as I hate to obey that bitch. If the easy way doesn't work, the hard way it is."
Francis nods in agreement, understanding his brother's plan. "We will have to wait for the night so we can break in unnoticed."
"Which means we have more than enough time to indulge ourselves," older Klum states as he starts driving away from Elias' house.
Francis smiles and pulls out his phone, "Let's see where the most expensive restaurant around here is."
As they drive off, neither notices a shadow blurring towards them and merging with the shadow of their car.
12:30, February 4, 2012, Forest Hills, Queens, New York
Spending the whole night traveling around an undead-infested city works up quite the sweat, so I decided to take a break and go back home for a shower and some rest. While I don't feel tired physically unless my SP hits the lower numbers, mentally that is another argument.
Having taken a very refreshing shower, I walk downstairs to the kitchen to make lunch. I'm thinking steak with rice for today. As I start cooking, something comes to my mind.
'Hey Yugi, shouldn't there be a skill for cooking?'
In the Gamer System that you are using, there is no cooking skill. There is, however, a cooking profession.
'Cooking profession?'
Yes; a Profession is just as it says on the tin. Think of them like proficiencies without any skill attached to them. You're [Acting Proficiency], for example, is a Profession.
'Is that so? Interesting. When will I be able to get another Profession then?'
Once you unlock the Class Change feature.
'Which I can only do if I max out Summoner before Peter becomes Spider-Man, right?'
Yes.
Damn. Well, more inspiration for me to grind and grind fast.
Once the steak is rare, just as like it, and the rice is done cooking, I plate it and go to the dining table to eat. Grabbing the remote on the way, I turn on the TV and look for something interesting to watch. Finding an episode of NCSI airing, I stop and start paying attention as I eat.
Ten minutes later, I feel a force slamming into my head out of nowhere.
"The fuck!?" I curse, dropping my knife and fork as my hands rub my temples to alleviate the slight pain I'm feeling.
Warning: An attempt at infiltrating your mind has been successfully blocked by [Gamer's Mind].
My eyes widen at the notice. "Someone just tried to go into my mind!? The hell!? Why!?" There's no reason, which I know of, for someone to be trying to enter my mind. "Can you tell me who tried it? Or where they are?"
The perpetrator of the attempt is outside your house, on the other side of the street. I can't tell who did it though.
"Shit!" Jumping to my feet, I run to the window and take a look at the other side of the road. Right there is a silver car, who is just starting to drive away.
[Summon Elemental: Shadow Rager]!
The Shadow Elemental appears to my right in a flash of light and I quickly give him its orders.
"Merge with the shadow of that vehicle and follow the ones inside. Contact me once they stop and leave the car."
The Shadow Rager nods and flattens itself into a shadow before leaving the house by going underneath the front door. Returning to the table and my lunch, I go back to eating while trying to think of anyone that would have reasons to try to influence me. What other reason would someone try to invade my mind for?
'It can't be Magneto. Even if Cerebro has already alerted Xavier about my Nullification and Magneto has a backdoor to the device – which was never proved as far as I know – it would take time for him to come after me. Besides, he would most likely send Mystique or someone else to recruit me. Xavier also doesn't make sense; he would just knock on my front door.'
No matter how much I think about it, there's no reason for anyone to try to enter my mind.
'Could it have been a coincidence? A newly awakened mutant with psychic powers that tried to read my mind by mistake or as training? That's a maybe, but the odds of that happening are quite low.'
After finishing my lunch, I'm alerted that my Shadow Rager is trying to contact me through Bond Senses. Accepting the contact, my senses are replaced by those of my Shadow Rager, my vision changing from my lunch on the table to a high-class ceiling.
[Good job, Shadow Rager. Now move to a nearby shadow that allows me to see the people from the car].
My Shadow Rager does as ordered and I witness as the ceiling is swamped for the view of the inside of a high-class restaurant. The table where 'my' sight is focused on the table in front of 'me' where two middle-aged men sit. They have near-identical features, brown hair, and eyes; clearly twins.
Using Observe on them, I find out their names and allegiance; Francis and Garrison Klum, leaders of the Aces and Eights gang in Las Vegas, Nevada. Both of them are mutants, though Observe doesn't tell me their powers. I can assume that one of them is psychic at least.
Listening to their conversation through the Shadow Rager's ears as they eat, I learn that they've been sent to kidnap me on the orders of a woman. I don't know who, as they only refer to her by "bitch" and "cunt". They also know that I can stop Francis from invading my mind, just like their new boss.
Hearing the twins' plan to break into my house and kidnap me in my sleep, I cut the connection with my Shadow Rager after ordering it to continue to follow the twins.
"Hm… This is unexpected. I hadn't thought that anyone would be coming after me on my second day here. I'll have to finish Singularity F before dinner or at least reach Level 30 and unlock the Servants. A Heroic Spirit would be quite handy tonight."
Letting out a sigh, I ponder on what came after the Klum Brothers are dealt with. "What do with them though? I'll interrogate the fuckers for information on this Mystery Woman of course. But then what? I kill them and she'll just send more after me; same if I don't kill them and send them packing back to her. I'm already going to have SHIELD, Hydra, Magneto and who knows who else on my tail soon enough. I don't need another group to keep an eye on." I look up at the ceiling, pondering plan after plan. "So, do I go to her, or do I bring her to me?"
Hearing an explosion coming from the TV, I look at it and see the aftermath of the bombing of the NCIS HQ on the ninth season's finale.
My eyes widen as a plan comes to mind.
16:02, February 4, 2012, Ryuudou Temple, Fuyuki City, Singularity F Dungeon
Hours later, I'm standing at the bottom of the steps that lead to the Ryuudou Temple on top of Mt. Enzou.
"This last stretch has been quite productive," I say out loud to myself, looking at my Status.
Elias Xavier
Class – Summoner – Level 29/50
Race: Homo Superior
Rank: Tier 2
Credits: 60 630
Stat Points: 0
HP – 16 500 [3300 per minute]
MP – 7830 [387 per 30 seconds]
SP – 16 500 [3300 per 30 seconds]
STR – 45/2 = 23
END – 45+200 = 245
VIT – 550
AGI – 50*1.2 = 60
DEX – 30
INT – 290*1.5 = 435
WIS – 107.5*1.2 = 129
CHA – 30
LCK – 35
Yep, quite productive indeed. Also got some good loot, like the Paradise Herb that I got from the Gacha after defeating Shadow Herakles. It multiplied my VIT stat by 10, shooting it up to 550 VIT and unlocking three awesome perks from the VIT perk tree. Fast Healer passively boosts my HP/SP Regen by 50% and replaced my Enhanced Health perk. Reinvigoration restores half of my total HP once per day should it go below 5% of its total. And The Long-Lived perk doubles the amount of HP that I get from my VIT stat. By Yugi's own words, I should be able to live for over five millennia if I'm not killed.
I finally got rid of the Slowpoke trait too. It was replaced by the Enhanced Agility perk, which passively increases my AGI stat by 20%. At the same time that happened – after I dealt with the mini-boss at the Fuyuki Park – I also got the Enhanced Mana Regeneration perk for reaching 100 WIS, which passively increases my MP Regen by 50%.
Looking up at the top of the stairs, I smirk, "Well, let's see how we measure up to an actual Servant."
[Summon Elemental: Volcanic Hammerer]!
Summoning twenty Volcanic Hammerers, I quickly reinforce all of them with Reinforce Summon. It costs me a total of 2200 MP, but I have more than enough MP to pay the price.
Then, I pull the Cloak of Concealment from my Inventory, which I got from defeating the Shadow Hassan of the Hundred Faces. It hides my presence from others' senses while worn, though it doesn't make me invisible. It basically works like the Notice-Me-Not Charm from Harry Potter. Thankfully, equipping the Snake Talisman does give me invisibility.
Now effectively hidden from Archer's senses, I get in the middle of my Volcanic Hammerers and order them to march up the stairs.
We reach the top in a minute and I notice the lack of one Sasaki Koujirou guarding the gate. Part of me expected him to be here, but I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth and instead just run with it.
Passing through the arc and into the courtyard of the temple, I barely blink and three of my Hammerers are killed via arrow to the head, one for each.
'Shit', I curse as three more of my Eidolons drop dead the next second. Replacing them with newly summoned Volcanic Hammerers, I order all of them to disperse and try to find Archer.
'Fucker can't be too far away,' I think as I move to a corner of the courtyard nearest to the temple proper as quietly as I can, so I'm not hit by an arrow. As I move and keep replacing the Hammerers that Archer kills, I also try to look for the Servant. 'He most likely can't leave this area, or he would have been hunting me earlier. Why he didn't just snipe me from afar can also be justified with this dungeon being a tutorial.'
Not spotting the Servant of the Bow on the roof of the first building, I hid further in the shadows and summon three new Eidolons, one behind the other two to hopefully fool Archer into believing I only summoned two. Two Volcanic Queens appear in the courtyard and I quickly order them to take flight and start burning the temple.
While they do that, the Psi-Beast I summoned with them turns invisible as I mount it and share the power of the Snake Talisman with it. With its telepathic field, finding Archer proves to be much easier a task. Moving through the halls of the temple and into the backyard, we spot Counter Guardian EMIYA standing on the roof of the building on the northwest corner of the temple. We come just time to watch the Servant kill my two Queens with two traced arrows that pierce through the skulls of my Eidolons like a knife through butter.
Catching a good look at Archer, I quickly Observe him.
Counter Guardian EMIYA – Level 30
Race: Servant (Archer Class)
Rank: Tier 3
HP – 1000 [200 per minute]
MP – 400 [200 per 30 seconds]
SP – 1000 [200 per 30 seconds]
STR – 230
END – 308
VIT – 10
AGI – 315
DEX – 100
INT – 10
WIS – 10
CHA – 10
LCK – 5
'This guy is a whole tier above me!? Shit!'
My worry is expected, considering what Yugi explained to me about Ranks/Tiers. They're a general abbreviation of one's power level. Tier 1 is for baseline humans while Tier 2 is for minor to moderately enhanced people (Jessica Jones), weak Mutants, and weak mages. Tier 3 covers majorly enhanced people, powerful mutants, weak Asgardians (Warriors Three), and stronger mages, while Tier 4 houses Omega class Mutants, strong Asgardians (Thor), and weak deities. Finally, Tier 5 is for powerful deities like Dormammu and other similarly powered people.
'Ok, calm down, Elias. Just stick to the plan,' I tell to myself. With some mental commands, my Volcanic Hammerers, who came to the backyard while Archer's attention was on the Volcanic Queens, charge EMIYA's position. Psi-Beast jumps onto the roof of one of the open halls connecting the front building to the building Archer is on so I can get a better look at the situation.
Due to my low DEX of 30, I can't perceive much of the fight and so Archer seems like little more than a blur to me as he dispatches Hammerer after Hammerer. It's only thanks to Spectator's Future Sight that I can follow Archer as he moves around.
Summoning more Hammerers, I order them to attack from afar and they throw fireballs at the Servant of the Bow. Like Spectator predicted, Archer jumps down from the roof to avoid the fireballs. As soon as he lands, however, I make my move and use my Mystic Eyes of Binding on his crouched form. Just like when I used them on Shadow Herakles, Archer is frozen in place.
'Thank God for my high MP,' I think to myself. Due to the patch, I have to constantly pour more MP per second than my target's STR stat if I want them to stay put. I also can't blink or lose focus of my target or they'll be free from the binding.
[Nine Lives: Magic Killing Arrows]!
Nine black tinted blue arrows of anti-magic manifest above me and I mentally fire them at the Counter Guardian. Just as he's about to be killed though, Archer breaks free from my binding gaze and jumps out of the way of my projectiles.
"What!?" I exclaim out loud in surprise. "How did he…? Damn it! He must have used Reinforcement!"
While was distracted with that, Archer had already pulled out his bow and shot three of the nine arrows flying after his ass. He jumps, rolls, and flips to avoid the other six, even as he traces six swords in the air and sends them colliding with my anti-magic arrows.
With no arrows after him, Archer looks exactly at where I am despite my invisibility – my concealment is no longer in effect because of me speaking attacking Archer – and aims his bow and arrow. Before he can fire, my Volcanic Hammerers rain fire down on his position and he has to move out of the way.
As my Eidolons distract Archer again, I dismount my Psi-Beast and replace it with a Volcanic Queen. As she goes to add to the distraction, I apparate to another roof, the Cloak of Concealment activating again now that I'm no longer in Archer's sight and focus.
Back to square one, I wait for the right moment to go for plan B. Preparing an Anti-Mana Bomb in my hand, I watch as EMIYA mows through my Queen and Hammerers like a buzzsaw. It awes me just how skilled this guy is.
'And he's technically one of the weakest Servants around,' I think to myself.
Putting my fanboying to the side, I watch as Archer moves to strike down one of my Hammerers. Before he can do so, I pull my move and cast Spectator's Illusion Sight on him. This power of my Teigu brings the target to their most precious person and shows them before their eyes. I don't know if EMIYA sees either Artoria, Rin, Sakura, or Illya in the place of the Hammerer he was just about to strike down, but he stops from doing so all the same.
Spectator's Farsight shows me his shocked face and as he's distracted, I teleport the Anti-Mana Bomb in my hand to right behind his head.
*BOOM*
The spell explodes a second later. With Spectator, I saw how Archer had started to move the moment my bomb spell appeared behind him, but that distraction from Illusion Sight cost him too much time and he was caught in the explosion of anti-magic and killed.
You have defeated Archer Servant EMIYA!
+150 Credits!
+1500 EXP!
You have gained the married blades, Kanshou and Bakuya!
You have gained 1 DEX Stat Shard!
You have gained 2 Rare Gacha Tickets!
And that's it for this chapter! I hope you all liked it. I'm trying to cut on the Gamer aspects of the story and finish this tutorial faster, as most of you have complained about the length of his grinding.
In other news, I've created a Pat-reon account with the same handler as my account here. Now, don't worry, you can still read my stories without paying me. But if you do pay me, you will get access to new chapters and stories three days before I upload them here on Fanfiction and on AO3 as I'm planning on posting my stories there as well.
So, if you have 4 dollars laying around and would like to read new chapters earlier, throw them at me.
Well, that's about it. See you all again next month.
Ja ne!
