"WAAAAAAAH!" Ruby cried out as she fell down the chimney, which lasted around 10 seconds before she slammed into the ground, butt first.

By landing on her tailbone, Ruby locked up and hissed in pain, she's going to have to work on that kind of landing strategy.

After a moment to let the pain fade, Ruby stood up and looked around the room she was in, another golden room, much larger than the one behind the mousehole, though with less treasure chests.

"Probably hiding here too." Ruby muttered as she looked around the room.

After finding treasure in the chests on the table, the wall shelves, and a couple on the ground, Ruby found the 'empty' chest next to a cloth covered mirror, and once it was opened…

"RRAGGAAAW!" "BWAGA-AW!" "WHOOO!" "BWA-HA-HA-HA-HA!"

"GWAAAH!" Ruby cried out as she bolted back to the chimney, sheer instinct making her want to climb right back up it. The sounds of a yellow, pink, blue, and one of the ceiling hanging-

*BOOM*

Bomb dropping ceiling hanging ghosts had triggered her fight or flight instincts, but once she had a moment to think, she had a plan.

While the three mobile ghosts made their way to Ruby, the bomb dropper appeared next to Ruby, only for it to be burned away by the briefest burst of flames.

She then carefully aimed her light so the distance would disperse the blue and pink ghosts, as she knew the yellow ghosts were some of the weakest, and when the yellow ghost got closer, Ruby was quick to blind and capture it.

Then the pink and blue ghost's returned, and Ruby launched a fireball at the blue ghost while it was a good distance away from her, stunning it and weakening it while she blinded and captured the pink ghost.

Once the pink ghost was caught Ruby quickly blinded and caught the blue ghost, causing the lights in the room to turn on and a small blue chest to appear.

"Yes!" Ruby cheered as she looted the rest of the room, and even noticing the Boo Radar was showing the room as Boo free, before grabbing the key from the chest, revealing it to unlock the first of the last two rooms on the second floor. "Good, I'll check it out before I head to the… Basement."

It was then Ruby realized, she was kinda stuck in the room.

"Uh oh." Ruby muttered as she looked at the chimney, she attempted to climb up, but unfortunately the walls were too smooth and Ruby's limbs just weren't long enough to brace herself against both sides of the chimney and shuffle up.

"Great… What now?" Ruby muttered as she looked around the room.

Her answer came in the form of a fire elemental ghost, which flew out of the flame of a candle and said ghost bopped Ruby on her nose to get her attention.

"Hu- Hey!" Ruby cried out as she looked at the spirit, which floated over to the cloth covered mirror, and quickly burned the cloth away. Ruby approached the mirror quizzically, ""What about the mirror?" Ruby asked, only for the fire elemental ghost to float into the mirror… And for the surface of the mirror to ripple like water, showing the Foyer for just the briefest of moments.

"Thanks." Ruby said, certain that this was only possible thanks to the spirits on her side, and then dove through the mirror.

"Oof." Ruby said as she belly flopped onto the carpeted floor of the Foyer, "Well, looks like I'm checking out the second floor rooms first." Ruby muttered.

[]

"I'm getting tired of backtracking through this place." Ruby muttered as she unlocked the last door on the second floor and stepped in, immediately seeing it was dark and the moment she shut the door, Ruby found herself sealed within the SItting Room.

"Yah!" Ruby yipped when she heard the door seal.

Looking around the room as she waited for the ghosts to show up, she saw a fire elemental spirit come out of a candle on the coffee table sat in between a comfy looking chair and sofa, as well as a water elemental spirit coming out of a pot full of water.

She then noticed two unlit candles by a painting of a potted plant, "First I blow out candles then I light them… Do they even give enough light to affect these ghosts?" Ruby muttered as she used the flames left in the Poltergust to light the two candles…

And trigger the appearance of FIVE yellow ghosts.

"GYAAAAH!" Ruby cried out as she dove over the sofa to dodge a punch from the nearest yellow ghost and effectively jammed the fire elemental ghost into the Poltergust and began spraying flames all over the room, though doing so in small bursts to avoid wasting her 'ammunition'.

In this small a room she was not going to bother sucking them all away. But once the fifth yellow ghost vanished, another of its kind showed up, only this one's heart was ablaze, followed by another identical flame hearted ghost

"Water." Ruby said as she ran toward the pot of water and sucked in a water elemental ghost and quickly doused the hearts of the yellow ghosts before blinding it and capturing them and lighting up the room.

"Nothing?" Ruby asked looking around the room, not seeing a treasure chest appear in it, even though the Boo Radar was going off.

"Guess I'll just get the Boo and move to the room over there." Ruby muttered as she kicked the chair, only to be surprised when the Boo actually popped out of it, she hadn't even paid full attention to the radar.

"I am Boolivia!" The Boo declared before looking over Ruby, "I hate you."

"The feeling is mutual." Ruby said as she captured the remarkably weak Boo, "And it takes a lot for me to hate someone."

With the Boo captured, and the fire and water elemental ghost's deciding to follow Ruby (Stuffing themselves into the cartridges she slipped out of Myrtenaster), the young ghost catcher entered the next room…

"Why is the room upside down?" Ruby asked the moment she entered the apparent, but very clearly upside down bedroom.

In the middle of the room was a bed, and ghost 'sleeping' on it, a young girl wearing a pink nightgown and blonde pigtails.

'Do not try to wake me…' A little girl's voice said in Ruby's mind, 'GOOOO AAWAAAAAY!' the voice demanded.

The room vibrated, as did Ruby's skull at the force of the voice.

"Not gonna happen." Ruby said as she observed the 'sleeping' ghost, "So, how do I do this?"

It was then Ruby had further assistance from the spirits, as the water elemental ghost shot out of Ruby's pouch and slammed into the ghost, Sue Pea, soaking the ghost, and very clearly disturbing her sleep.

"Thanks." Ruby said as she went under (above?) the sleeping ghost and immediately began drenching her in water.

After a moment the room shook as the ghost shot awake, panic across its face, as Ruby quickly shifted to capture tactics.

The moment Sue Pea was caught in the vortex, a pair of clown dolls began to launch themselves at Ruby, combined with the light fixture in the middle of the room, Ruby was forced to break off the connection to the ghost lest she get hurt.

Sue Pea appeared once again, and Ruby was quick to soak her again, and this time successfully capturing the ghost.

The room stopped shaking as a chest appeared on the floor of the room… Only due to the fact the room was upside down, the floor may as well have been the ceiling.

"Oh come on…" Ruby muttered, checking the Boo Radar to find it inactive.

After several attempts at reaching the chest, including trying to jump to it, trying to balance on the light fixture, as well as using the Poltergust to try and bring the chest down, Ruby finally managed to open the chest by using Crescent Rose as an extension of her arm, causing the treasure inside the chest to fall down on her, though thankfully she stepped out of the way and avoided getting hit by the gold bars and diamond in the chest.

Ruby smiled as she left the room, only the freeze when she shut the door to the guest room as the entire house shook.

Raising her eyebrow Ruby chanced a look back into the guest room, and found that it was now rightside up.

Ruby's eye twitched as she stared at the scene, broken only by the sound of the Boo Radar activating.

"I swear something in here is messing with me." Ruby muttered as she began to search the room, and soon finding the Boo hiding under the bed.

"I'm the lovely Boonita!" The Boo declared, only to look at Ruby in confusion "Wait… Did the room return to normal?"

"Yeah." Ruby muttered as she aimed the Poltergust at the upside down Boo.

"Oh." Boonita said, moments before she was caught by the Poltergust

Ruby returned to the third floor at the door opposite of the telephone room and smiled as she unlocked it, and then her smile grew as she looked into the room.

"An Armory!" Ruby cheered as she looked at the suits of armor, as well as several chests in the room.

Ruby excitedly opened the first chest she saw, only for a pink ghost to burst out of it.

The Pink ghost was dissolved by copious amounts of water from a very upset Rose.

Looking away from the chest Ruby focused on a suit of armor and ran her hand along the arm of the armor, noting to stay out from in front of it as it's arm was raised to swing it's mace down.

Ruby was glad she had stayed on the side as the mace came down in front of her, which resulted in a red grappler ghost to appear right where the mace landed, as if startled into existence itself.

A quick flash of the light and the ghost was caught, but still no lights came on, so Ruby figured the ghosts were hiding in the suits of armor.

After tapping on each suit of armor, and opening the rest of the chests, Ruby had scared out, and captured, a yellow ghost, a blue ghost, another pink ghost, and a banana eating ghost, and had turned the lights back on.

"Finally." Ruby muttered as a blue chest appeared in the room, opening the chest as she had already looted the room looking for all the ghosts.

The key Ruby found led her all the way back down to the basement.

"Great." Ruby muttered as she began looking for the Boo in the room, finding it hidden in one of the suits of armor.

"Underboo's making a comeback!" The Boo declared and grabbed a mace from a suit of armor that still held it's mace high…

Only to immediately fall over when the gauntlet fell off, taking the mace and Boo with it.

"J-just a moment…" Underboo said, "Been a while…"

Ruby stared for a few second as she watched the Boo attempt to lift the mace to attack her, until she finally put the Boo out of it's embarrassment and captured it.

"Alright, this room over here is unlocked so…" Ruby muttered as she entered the next room, and finding a lot of pots in it.

"Whoa." Ruby said as she passed by a frozen pot, with an ice elemental ghost floating out of it.

Ruby spent a good minute looking inside several of the pots, she may no but much for ceramics, but even she was enraptured by the pottery around her.

"Oi! You! With the red hood!" A voice called out, causing Ruby to jump and look around, before setting her eyes on… a red ghostly blob that had popped out of the jar, "Yeah you!"

"What?" Ruby asked in complete confusion.

"Whadda ya think o' me jar collection, then? Pretty amazing, don't ya say?" The Ghost, Jarvis said, "Welly, welly well. We can't just let you look at 'em for free, now can we? No I think not."

"Umm…" Ruby said as she began to pat down her pockets

"Keep your Lien, I don't have much use for it." Jarvis interrupted, "If you'd like to view me jars, you'd best challenge me first!"

"Um… Okay." Ruby said.

"It's on then." Jarvis declared. "I'm gonna pop out o' these jars here, and you freeze me with that ice, I know ya got the ice medal. "If you freeze seven o' me then you win! Righty-right. But if you lose, mate, then it's out the door with you. And to make it fair, I'm only gonna pop out of these four jars."

Jarvis then ducked into his jar and popped out of three other jars in sequence before returning the jar he started in, "Righto! Bring it on!"

With that Jarvis dove back into his jar, and several ice elemental ghosts surrounded Ruby, one even landing on her hand as she gripped it.

Jarvis then popped out of a jar, only to get hit by an elemental ghost and shatter instantly, this repeated six more times, with various gaps in time between when he'd pop out.

"Game over lass!" Jarvis shouted the moment he popped out of a jar, ducking as Ruby threw an ice ghost out of reflex, "Shoulda shouted before I popped out." Jarvis muttered.

"Sorry." Ruby muttered

"Well, the results are…" Jarvis said as he ducked back into his jar then popped back out, "You got seven o' me lass!" Jarvis shouted in shock, "I can't believe it… How could I lose? You made me red faced for sure lit'le red, maybe you'd fancy gettin' stuffed into one o' these here jars!"

With that the door sealed and Jarvis ducked back into his jar.

"Uh oh." Ruby muttered as she looked around the room, quickly spotting Jarvis as he popped out of a jar behind her. Reflexively Ruby flashed her light at the ghost successfully stunning it and followed up quickly with the vacuum function, making quick work of the ghost as it effectively tried to caterpillar it's way free of the Poltergust's suction.

Ruby smirked as the lights in the room came on and a green chest appeared in the room, "Nice." Ruby said, emptying the chest in the room of its money, gold, and jewels.

Then she shook a Boo out of one of the jars.

"Who's shaking TamBoorine?" The Boo declared before stretching, "Yeah Jarvis wasn't kidding about stuffing me in a jar…" The Boo said to itself, just noticing Ruby in the room, "Uh oh."

TamBoorine was quickly caught by the Poltergust, and Ruby let a sigh of relief out.

"Almost done." Ruby said as she started the long trek down to the basement.

Another one out, and so soon too.

Also you might notice something different about the message, well and some messages are… messed up. I blame FF because apparently it deletes some symbols and everything between them so a lot of the message gets erased. (IT DID IT AGAIN!)

Because of that I am not gonna do this kind of thing for Dark Moon or Mansion 3, this has already annoyed me enough as it is.

Anyway, only two (Maybe 3 if i decided to do an epilogue separately) chapters of this story left, and then a little prologue for Dark Moon.

Also, since someone brought it up, Remnant's Phantom Thieves… Is getting re-written.

Now listen, I never originally planned to rewrite Phantom Thieves, when Royal was coming out I shrugged it off, it would have been a little too much to just rewrite a whole story just to add 1 person to the Phantom Thieves… But then RWBY revealed Atlas was a floating dystopia, the Ace Ops, and Pietro being introduced (Which made me feel really bad about kidnapping Penny). Persona 5 Strikers coming out and me playing it was the last straw.

With now 3 new members of the Phantom Thieves, the concept of the Jails, and more insight onto the people of Remnant, Swift, Timeless and I all agree that at this point we may as well rewrite.

Now before I even start writing it I'm going to be making it very AU from canon RWBY because of how they've treated Salem.

Mainly because they've built Salem to be a great 'Victim of the Gods' turned villain from desperation (And some evil goo helping) and very likely seeking revenge on the Brother Gods still, they've effectively made her Mary Sue bad guy who's performing the most petty suicide note.

I don't like it. Honestly Rooster Teeth needs to hand the rights to RWBY to someone else.

I'm trying to remain a fan of the show, I really am, but Rooster Teeth keeps bringing up concepts in the show, and then dropping them in the very next episode or season. It's a mess.

So as such, while things may happen similar (Well, similar enough) to RWBY Canon. Remnant's Phantom Thieves: Royal Strikers Edition will be branching off what Rooster Teeth has done to RWBY.

Sorry didn't mean for this to turn into a rant, anyway I'll see you all next time.
