A/N: Credit to Xahrahs for the bathroom incident with Wakita.
For those that don't read the manga, Wakita is Elma's friend in the spin off series. You can read the manga to learn more about her.
As Elma was using the washroom, she could hear the faint sounds of gasps and moans.
A female voice in the nearby stall said "Elma, you're good. Ah"
Elma was shocked. Why would someone speak her name out so loud?
She washed her hands and combed her hair. She pretended to fix her tie until the person had exited the stall. She wanted to get a good look of the individual in there.
She heard the door latch open. The programmer continued fixing her tie but, looked at the mirror to see it was Wakita-san who came out!
Wakita's eyes widened and her hands were clammy. She was caught red-handed. The blonde young woman washed her hands nervously.
Wakita swallowed "Elma-chan, how much did you hear in there?" The blonde nervously washed her hands.
Elma felt awkward as she slowly grasped what Wakita did. "Eh- I heard a little." Elma blushed.
Elma didn't know how to respond. If she lied, she knew Wakita could tell.
Elma could barely look at her friend in the eye.
"Elma-chan, you must think I'm a disgusting person... I really like you-"
The blonde's voice broke. She started crying from awkwardness and embarrassment.
"I know you're married and have kids. God, I'm so pathetic."
Elma pitied her. A normal person would resent her but the 'sea saint' forgave Wakita. She couldn't help those feelings she harboured for her.
Elma gave her a headpat.
"You'll find someone. You're a nice girl."
"What's going on here?" Nai said. She walked in right when Elma was patting Wakita's head.
Wakita sniffled.
"It's not what you think. Wakita was telling me how she had feelings for me."
Elma couldn't lie to Nai. Not after all they went through.
"I'm so sorry Nai-san. Nothing happened between us. I only confessed."
Nai didn't know what to make of this situation.
There was an awkward pause as the three women stood standing in the restroom.
"Wakita, I can't really blame you. Elma is a gem."
Wakita stopped her crying.
"Nai, you're so lucky."
Nai continued. "But she's my wife. Look, I know an app. You and I can look up some places online."
Nai embraced Wakita. She felt pretty bad for her. "You're a pretty girl, Wakita. Anyone would be happy to have you."
Elma was glad Nai received it well.
"Thank you, Nai-san. I will be grateful for your help."
One week later, Nai and Elma helped Wakita get a date on the app. They gave her some "dos and dont's". Elma helped her pick out a nice outfit. According to Wakita, the date went well and she would be seeing the person again.
