The next morning, the thundering of a Golem woke Green up. She sat up in a hazed, confused state as the walls rumbled around her and the ground shook beneath her. With a groan she rubbed her eyes and looked around sleepily, the morning sun seeping through the cracks in her curtains and casting small rays of light onto her body. After taking a moment to wake up a little, Green rolled out of bed and grabbed for her chest wrap which had been hanging off the end of the bed. As she began wrapping it around her chest she made her way over to her large hiking bag, slumped against the wall. After tying up her wrap, she opened the bag and pulled out one of her trash bags full of clothes. She spread them out on her bed and lazily looked through them, rubbing her eye as she did.

"Hmm, no, no, maybe, definitely not, yeah okay." She muttered to herself as she decided on her outfit for the day.

Once she was done deliberating on her outfit she put the others away and began to get dressed. She wrestled with a pair of black jeans, trying her best to slip them over her wide hips. As well as fighting with her light blue tank top to get it over the top of her breasts. Once they were on she let out a huffed sigh and wiped her brow, looking down at herself with a satisfied smile. She grabbed her pokéball belt from her desk and placed it beside her on the bed as she tied up her hiking boots. Once they were fastened she grabbed her hairbrush and gently ran it through her long, wavy brown hair as she read over Brock's biography again. She couldn't help but smile as she looked at his picture, her chest feeling tight as she remembered their encounter yesterday. However, she only let herself day dream for a little bit before refocusing on the battle. She wanted to go over Machop's fundamentals before the fight, just to make sure he was good to go. She smiled widely and stood up from her desk, raring to go. She grabbed her medicine bag, fastened her belt and with a determined stride she made her way out of her room, down to the lobby.

It was a lot quieter than yesterday, apart from herself only Joy was there. She was sitting behind the counter, carefully tying up her braid as she read from a thick book. Next to it was a plain white mug of coffee, hot steam rising from the fresh brew. Green approached the desk and leaned on it with a big smile.

"Good morning Joy!" She said in a bubbly tone, feeling energised from all the excitement she was feeling.

Joy looked up from her book and gazed up at her from over her glasses. A tired look in her eyes.

"Well then, someone is excited." She grumbled groggily as she placed a book mark on her page and shut her book.

This time it was Green's turn to smirk at her as she watched Joy, slowly stand up from her stool.

"Not a morning person huh?" Green asked slyly.

Joy smirked back and chuckled as she walked over to the healing machine. Next to it was a dial and a large clear tube that ran up out of sight into the ceiling. Joy flicked a switch and machines lining the back wall all lit up and began humming. She clumsily pumped in Green's name into the dial, the whirring of gears rumbled in the background and Joy turned back to face her.

"No, I'm not." Joy grumbled, still taking the chance to sneak a glance of Green's body.

"Cute outfit, looks great on you." She added with a sly smirk as she watched Green's face go bright red again.

Joy quietly laughed to herself as Machop's pokéball came flying down the tube and to a small opening next to her. She plucked it out and handed it over to a now flustered Green.

"Good luck with Brock, he's no push over you know." Joy said with a knowing look in her eyes.

Green picked up Machop's ball and clipped it back into her belt.

"Th-Thanks, I-I know he seems tough but we'll get him!" She tried to exclaim, her voice stammering as her heart raced in her chest as she watched Joy's eyes scan up and down her body.

Quickly, Green turned on her heel and half ran, half tripped her way out of the Pokémon Centre. Joy laughed and shook her head, sitting back down to continue her book. She slipped out her bookmark, which on the end was a pink pokéball symbol.

Green quickly ducked around the corner, pressing her back up against the Pokémon Centre out of sight. She sighed and held her hand to her heart, feeling it racing in her chest. She took a moment to calm down, taking deep long breaths. As she did, she looked up at the granite staircase before her. It seemed to loom over her, the long ascending steps seemed to go on forever. The Pewter City gym towered above her head, casting a long shadow over everything at the base of the hill. Green stood right on the edge of the shadow, the small gap between the hill and Pokémon Centre allowing for a slither of sunlight to get through. Green released Machop's ball from her belt and opened it, materialising him on the ground before her. Machop looked around lazily, rubbing his eyes with his tiny grey hands and letting out a little yawn. As his gaze fell onto Green, he slowly looked up at her. Once he saw her face his sleepy demeanour was gone and jumped excitedly, all the way to her eye level, hugging her tightly. Green happily giggled and hugged him back.

"Good morning buddy! You ready to get started?" She asked as she supported his legs, letting him sit on her crossed forearms.

Machop nodded and clenched his fists.

"MAAAAAA!" He cried out excitedly, a small flicker of orange essence coming off his raised fists.

Green laughed happily and pressed her forehead against his.

"Okay! Okay! Calm down, save it for the fight!" She cried out happily, the two of them laughing together.

She looked back down at the shadow before her feet and took a deep breath, warding off all her nerves before taking a step into it. The sun disappeared behind the hill and she felt a cool chill on her skin. Machop turned and leapt down onto the ground, he ran over to the steps and stared up at Pewter Gym. Green came over to his side and with one final deep breath she began walking up the stairs, Machop following at her side. The steps felt hard on her feet, their perfectly smooth surface slapping the bottom of her shoes with each step. Unlike the bumpy cobbles of Pewter Streets which her shoes rolled off with each step. Machop hopped up each step, getting more excited with each leap. As they reached the top Green looked behind her, she gazed over the roof tops and saw the winding maze of Pewter below her. It was like a series of snakes all overlapping between the houses. She looked out at the rounded edge of Viridian Forest as it encompassed the Viridian Area, hiding Pallet and the ocean behind a wall of green. They couldn't help but stare off in amazement, enchanted by such an alien view of the landscape. However, their wonder was interrupted by a confident voice.

"First time newbie?" Green turned around and to her utter dismay Jackson was leaning against the large, granite doors of the gym.

Around him the same group of trainers from yesterday were also waiting, lounging about on the few steps up the gym door. Jackson stood up with a confident smirk and crossed his arms at her.

"I bet you think you're just gonna waltz in here and win cause you have a type advantage huh? Pfft, typical." He snorted with the same cocky look.

Green internally groaned and just looked at him with a neutral expression.

"So you're gonna beat him with a bunch of base form bugs?" She muttered, trying not to let him annoy her.

She sat down on a small rock next to the path leading up to the gym. Jackson shook his head and laughed, throwing his head back and holding his stomach.

"No idiot! I spent all of yesterday, catching a new and improved team! When the gym opens I'll show you it, can't have you challenge Brock without testing your worth and who better than me?!" He exclaimed, a few of the trainers near him looked over with baffled looks before scooting away slightly.

Green ignored him and looked around at the other trainers, holding Machop as he struggled to get free and square up to Jackson. She saw the same veteran trainer again, before now she hadn't taken the time to appreciate her appearance but on a longer look she was certainly intimidating. She wore the same Veteran's Jacket that Jackson's dad had on. It was made of a fine cotton dyed purple, on the breast pockets and the edges of the collar was a lining of silver metal. It flowed down past her hips and draped over the rock she was sitting on. Now that Green was looking, this trainer was actually pretty hot. She had short, fiery red hair with the sides shaved down to stubble. Her lips were plump and the same bright red as her hair. In her lower lip was a big lip ring, made of a black metal with purple markings on it. She looked over at Green, noticing her stare with a cautious look before giving her a smile and winking at her. Green immediately looked away as her heart almost leapt from her chest. Then she heard a sound that made her chest feel like it would explode from embarrassment, a gruff laugh coming from the trainer. Just as she was about to get up and approach Green the doors of Pewter Gym rumbled open. A Graveler with two arms on each door heaved them open, a short and plump man in suspenders and a bow tie stood at his side.

"My apologies for keeping you all waiting. Welcome to the Pewter City gym, challengers. Please come with me and we will register you for your scheduled battles." He announced in a polite and proper tone before turning on his heel and making his way back inside.

The trainers before Green, including Jackson hurried off after him, eager to get started. Green waited and allowed, that veteran trainer to get a good lead on her before making her own way in. She couldn't afford to be horny right now. Once everyone had gone inside Green got up from her rock, still clutching Machop to her chest, who at this point was just lazily staring ahead with a defeated look on his face. Green placed him on the ground and closed her shaking hands into lose fists. She looked back one last time at home before walking up the steps and through the doors of Pewter City Gym.

The granite theme continued inside the gym, the long hallway before Green was built from tall polished granite walls with a soft red carpet leading the way ahead. The Graveler which had opened the doors walked past Green and tucked up into a ball before rolling on ahead along the sides of the wall which were not carpeted. Green recognised it as the same material which that Veteran's nose ring was made of. Green shook her head, even thinking of her made her mind spin. She forced her out of her mind and marched on ahead down the hall. As she went further, big windows appeared in the walls showing off large open spaces made of dirt and stone with scattered boulders as well as a large cliff face about twice the size of a person. In the center of these rooms was a rectangular space, divided in two by a line along it's width. In the middle of this line was a pokéball symbol, drawn with cement that was embedded in the ground. As she ventured further she saw a small desk with only a handful of trainers around it. To Green's delight the Veteran girl wasn't there but to her dismay Jackson was. He was sulkily standing behind the two older boys in front of him as they talked to the man in suspenders. He craned his neck to try and look around them to no result. Green, bracing herself, came up next to him and stood there silently. He turned to look at her, his face bright red with anger.

"Don't even think about cutting in front of me! You got here last so you get served last!" He exclaimed, making an effort to squeeze in between her and the guy in front of her.

Green just took a step back without saying anything and Jackson smirked up at her, looking pleased with himself. Green was starting to feel like Red now, quiet and just staring ahead with a vacant look. That annoyed her even more so she looked down at Jackson with a smirk.

"Didn't you go through the door first?" She asked slyly.

He looked away and turned his nose up in the air.

"Yeah and I allowed everyone to go ahead because I'm a nice guy, plus they've all proven themselves as trainers. You on the other hand haven't convinced me so you wait here!" He said stubbornly, glaring up at her.

Green smiled and held back a laugh, looking down at him with an amused look. Before she could respond the two trainers ahead of them finished and moved away, looking back at Jackson with annoyed expressions. Jackson quickly hurried over and peered over the desk at the man.

"I'd like to challenge Brock!" He yelled impatiently.

The man behind the counter lowered his small round glasses and peered over them at Jackson with a bewildered look on his face.

"Oh okay well- Oh it's you Jackson. Go on then, same room as usual your fight is at 2:30 and don't cause any trouble this time!" He said sternly as he handed Jackson a room key.

Jackson snatched it from him and ran off, making his way down a hall to the left behind the man. He shook his head and focused back on Green, smiling at her with a look of surprise.

"Ah! A new face, now what might your name be my girl?" He asked jollily as he poised a pen above a piece of paper.

"Green Isamu, from Pallet Town." She responded, she couldn't help but smile as she did. The man just had such a positive aura about him.

He quickly jotted down her name before looking up at her again.

"Ah Pallet Town, quite an infamous place now that little town is thanks to those two young men. I suppose you must have grown up with them? Quite a lot to gain from knowing trainers like them, I sure hope you picked their brains!" He exclaimed gleefully before clearing his throat and shuffling awkwardly.

"Oh well anyways, how many badges do you have and what pokémon will you be using today?" He asked quickly, seeming a little embarrassed.

Green giggled and politely nodded.

"It's okay, I do know them. I'm Red's sister actually. " She answered gently before quickly moving on.

"I have no badges yet and I'll be using just my Machop here. " She said as Machop jumped up onto the desk, showing off proudly.

The man nodded along inquisitively as he wrote Green's details down.

"Ah yes well I see then, well then good luck! I remember your brother's battle against Brock. It was quite spectacular! I look forwards to yours! Now down the hall here there are some accommodations for you while you wait for your battle. I'm afraid it'll be a while as you were the last but there are plenty of training facilities around so make sure you get warmed up. Your fight is at 3:00 pm so make sure you are back here by then!" He explained as he handed Green a key.

Green nodded and took the key before quickly hurrying off, as much as she found him absolutely adorable all the talk about Red was draining her. She headed off down the same hall that Jackson did only to find him waiting with a smug look.

"Don't think I forgot about you, meet me in training room 1 in 20 minutes so I can destroy you!" He yelled, taking up a power stance while pointing at her.

Green glanced behind him to see a poster of a man with wild orange hair in a long cape doing the same pose. She laughed and walked past Jackson, patting him on his big safari hat.

"Okay see you there Jackson!" She said through laughter.

Jackson blushed bright red and furrowed his brow.

"Don't laugh at me newbie! Respect those above you!" He called out after her but Green didn't respond, instead she opened her room and slipped inside while Machop stared daggers at Jackson.

He gulped seeing that and ran off down the hall to his room before slamming the door. Green slung off her medicine bag, which was a small yellow hand bag made of a soft mesh with a big plastic zipper on the top, placing it on a desk in her room.

"Alright buddy, let's get in some practice and get you even faster and more precise! Every hit will count out there so we need them to be fast and strong! As long as we can outmanoeuvre him we'll win for sure." She said confidently, crouching down to Machop's height.

Machop nodded in agreement and flexed his arms with a proud smile. Green giggled and rubbed his head before reaching into her bag and clipping a few potions to her belt. She wasn't going to let Machop stay that hurt again after a battle. She still felt guilty about doing it before. Once they were secure Green wasted no time and made her way out of her room and down the hall towards the training rooms, quickly checking as she left her room that the Veteran girl wasn't around.

As Green entered training room 1 she was immediately hit with an electric atmosphere. Trainers were out on the terrain training hard with the boulders, as well as sparing on some of the smaller battle arenas scattered around the room. Immediately she spotted Jackson, he was on top of a small mound trying to push the same older boy from before out of the way with little luck. They looked down at him, they were beyond annoyed now as they angrily glared at him. As much as Green thought Jackson deserved it, she ran over before Jackson got the shit kicked out of him.

"Hey! Sorry, I told him I'd battle him do you mind if we use this court please?" She called out as she ran up the mound, next to Jackson.

They looked at each other with confused looks but stepped back from Jackson, who was glaring angrily at Green now.

"Really? You agreed to battle Jackson?" One asked, still looking confused.

Green nodded and looked down at Jackson with a drained look.

"Yeah, unfortunately..." She sighed out as she made her way onto the court.

The other boy shrugged and turned away.

"Alright, go nuts." He said nonchalantly before the two of them walked away.

Before Green could even turn to look back at Jackson he cried out at her.

"Don't defend me! I can do it on my own newbie!" He exclaimed, looking up at her furiously.

Green gritted her teeth and stood over him, anger flashing in her eyes.

"Shut up and get over there!" She growled at him through a clenched jaw, her frustration reaching a tipping point.

Jackson gulped and nodded before scurrying over to the other end of the battle arena. He reached down onto his brown, leather pokéball belt. Each canister was a small, clear plastic container with a white lid. On top of the lid was a red pokéball symbol that had a small button on the top. He pressed the button on his first container and it popped open. He pulled out his pokéball and rotated the black band around it's circumference that separated the red and white half. The ball enlarged in his hand to regular size. He threw the ball in the air as he pressed the release button on the front and it flew up into the air before opening and blasting a flash of red light. The ball closed and flew back to Jackson's hands. On the ground before him a Geodude appeared, looking bored.

"Yup! Before you even ask that's right I caught a rock type! You see your foolish newbie mind thought I was a mere bug trainer but nope! I'm gonna be a mix trainer and take on the Elite Four and be the new youngest champion in history!" He exclaimed proudly, crossing his arms and smirking at Green.

Green stared at him blankly, not believing what she was hearing. Machop ran out onto the field and stared at Geodude hungrily, scraping his feet on the floor, kicking up dust as he did. Geodude's eyes widened as he saw Machop and turned back to Jackson with a scared look. Jackson didn't notice and struck the same pose as before.

"Okay let's do this! Prepare to lose newbie! Geodude use ancient power!" He cried out.

Before Green could say anything, Machop ran at Geodude unprompted. Geodude's eyes lit up a dark brown and he strained trying to lift up two boulders near him, however they only shifted a little before Machop slammed his hand down on his head, Karate chopping him. Geodude cried and his eyes fizzled out, he tucked his arms in as he curled up into a ball, letting out scared whimpers as Machop wailed on him.

"Machop stop! Conserve your energy!" Green called out to him.

Machop looked back at her and nodded, jumping back and watching Geodude intently. Jackson was furious and started jumping up and down.

"Geodude! What are you doing?! Use roll out and this time dodge his attacks!" He yelled angrily.

Geodude peeked out from his ball and looked at Machop, he tucked back in and stuck out his arms. He spun on the spot, kicking up dust before shooting towards Machop.

"Dodge and counter!" Green called out.

As Geodude shot towards Machop, Machop took a wide stance and watched carefully. Just as Geodude was about to hit him Machop jumped, spun in the air and kicked Geodude like a soccer ball. Geodude flew through the air, Green gasped and dived out of the way as Geodude flew at her and embedded himself in the rock behind her. He uncurled and fainted, his face peeking out of the rock as he lay half embedded in it. Green couldn't help feel bad for the poor thing but was quickly distracted by Machop running over to her as she lay on the ground with a concerned look. She sat up and gently smiled at him.

"Hey I'm okay don't worry, you ready for the next one?" She asked as she stood up and dusted herself off.

Machop grinned and nodded before running back out onto the field. Jackson was staring daggers at him as he pointed his pokéball at Geodude and recalled him. He reached for his next pokéball and looked up at Green, looking pissed off.

"Alright, fine. I didn't want to do this to a newbie but I guess I'll have to show off my true power to you! I'm afraid it ends here!" He declared as he threw his next ball into the air.

Before him a Jigglypuff appeared and bounced lazily up and down. It looked around with a droopy look as it quietly sung to itself. Each time it bounced it floated lightly through the air like a feather. Machop smirked and very confidently ran up to the Jigglypuff and jumped into the air. The Jigglypuff just watched with a dumb smile as he spun in the air and roundhouse kicked it away. Jigglypuff gleefully cried out as it flew through the air, hit the wall behind Jackson and bounced back at twice the speed. Bewildered, Machop looked on in confusion as Jigglypuff slammed into him and sent him flying across the arena.

"Ha! Yes! Now what newbie?!" Jackson cried out maniacally.

Green watched in shock as Machop flew through the air and landed on his feet only to stumble back and fall onto his back with a thud. A small puff of dust forming around him as he lay there stunned.

"You okay buddy?!" She called out worriedly.

Machop shook the dust off his head and jumped to his feet, giving her a thumbs up. Green sighed in relief before turning her attention back to Jigglypuff, watching it lazily bounce around. Suddenly she grinned ear to ear and stepped forward.

"Okay listen up buddy! Kick it, but this time dodge, and kick it again as it goes past! Then drop to the ground and cover your head!" She cried out to him, with a cunning smirk.

Machop without hesitation ran at the Jigglypuff and roundhouse kicked it again. Jackson smirked and shook his head.

"You're just falling into my trap newbie, I clearly am the better trainer! Didn't you see what happened last time?! At this rate- AH!" He suddenly stopped as he ducked out of the way of Jigglypuff flying back towards him.

Again, Jigglypuff bounced off the wall and sped back towards Machop. Machop leapt out of the way and kicked Jigglypuff again as it sped past his head. Green immediately ducked down and Machop did the same. Jackson, with a look of realisation screamed and dropped to the floor holding his head. Jigglypuff began bouncing back and forth between the wall and rock behind Green at an increasing rate. As it did the noise of Jackson's scream got the attention of the room and they all looked on in amazement as Jigglypuff got faster and faster and faster until it was just a pink blur. Eventually it cried out and slammed against the back wall, not bouncing and dropping to the floor. It fainted and slumped over, getting a few quiet laughs before everyone went back to what they were doing. Jackson, trembling, recalled Jigglypuff as he stood up. Green got up too and happily ran over to Machop, hugging him.

"Great work buddy!" She exclaimed excitedly.

Machop just lazily smiled as he was pressed in between her breasts. Without missing a beat Green put him down and unclipped a potion, spraying it onto his back, chest, feet and hands carefully. He stretched out happily and started running around the arena energetically. Green watched him before looking over at Jackson. He was sitting against the wall sulking, wiping tears away from his eyes. Green smiled sympathetically and slowly approached him, crouching down before him.

"So am I a proper trainer now?" She asked gently.

He glanced at her before looking away and sniffling.

"I guess so..." He mumbled.

Green reached out and patted his shoulder carefully.

"Well my name is Green by the way," even as she said it she could anticipate the reaction she was going to get.

Jackson's head spun around and looked up at her shocked.

"Green?! Like Red's sister?! It says in the Indigo Plateau 200th anniversary addition in his section that he has a younger sister called Green! Is that you?!" He yelled out in disbelief, again turning heads towards them.

Green looked around embarrassed and nodded before shushing him.

"Yeah he's my brother but keep quiet about it! I don't like talking about him okay?" She asked with a pleading look.

Jackson nodded quickly, his mouth hanging open.

"So you know Blue too?" He whisper shouted at her, with curious eyes.

Green nodded again and gestured to Machop.

"Yeah he gave me my Machop." She said quietly to him.

Jackson smirked and sneered at her.

"I knew it was a pedigree pokémon, any pokémon from Blue would be top of the line." He responded snidely.

Green just sighed and shook her head before standing up.

"Look, here's some advice okay? Pokémon don't just come from the wild battle ready, you need to teach them how to fight. Your poor Geodude was terrified and Jigglypuff didn't even know where it was. If you really want to be a mix trainer like my brother and Blue you need to learn how each type differs and what their needs are." She explained in a hushed tone as she took a step back.

Jackson nodded obediently, looking up with a star struck look at her. Green turned and immediately walked away from him as he just sat there watching her. She let out a frustrated sigh, thrusting her hands down to her sides with a huff. Jackson got up and began to run over to her but a gruff voice yelled at him before he could.

"Back off kid! You've bothered her enough today!" The veteran trainer called out, appearing in front of Green.

Green looked up in horror as she saw her standing in front of her, another step and she would have walked right into her. She was a lot taller than she expected, her breasts coming up to Green's face. Her bulky, built frame was clear now that she wasn't wearing her veteran jacket. Her grey crop tank top left her muscular arms exposed as well as her abs and belly button piercing of a small red jewel. On her arm a sleeve tattoo of a raging flame reached up from her elbow and over her shoulder. Along her belt, which ran through the loops of her baggy faded jeans, were 15 badges. Green immediately recognised them as the badges of Kanto and Johto. Before Green could look anymore she felt the trainer grasp her bare shoulder tightly.

"You alright? That kid's been bothering you ever since we arrived this morning." She asked roughly.

Green looked up at her in shock as she felt her stomach drop and her mind begin to spin. The veteran scowled and looked over at Jackson who was scurrying away to the door, fear in his eyes. She shook her head and lead Green away.

"Here, come meet some of the others now that the pest is gone. You must be exhausted you can't even speak!" She exclaimed as she lead Green over to a group of older trainers, including the two boys from before.

Green just allowed herself to be led away and nodded along in agreement, words seemed to have escaped her again. She sat down and looked around at the group as they politely smiled at her. The two boys from before looked about her age, they were lanky with matching backwards caps, yellow t-shirts and blue shorts. Sitting next to them was a guy with wild, messy yellow hair that seemed to occasionally spark, he grinned at her wildly as he fiddled with his pokédex. Across from him, sitting next to Green was a young man with neat, black hair and a serious expression on his face. He wore an elaborate red cape, tights, a velvet vest and yellow gloves. He nodded at her acknowledgingly before turning away. Green waved at them shyly before the veteran slung her arm around her and laughed happily.

"Okay well let's see, shorts boys here are Joey and Mikey, these guys are big time normal specialists. The crazy looking one is Matias, you can probably tell but he's an electric master in training and of course we can't forget our crown jewel here Mr Bartholomew himself, a self proclaimed dragon master!" She explained enthusiastically, smirking slyly at Bartholomew as she did.

He huffed and turned to face her, looking flustered.

"I am a dragon master, I'll have you know! I meet all the requirements set down by the Dragon Taming League, I have fully evolved 6 dragon type pokémon. " He said in a pompous voice, turning his nose up at her.

Green giggled and looked up at her, feeling a little braver now.

"Finally, I'm Alex! I'm here from Johto to complete your region's gym challenge and I'm an actual official fire master," she exclaimed, side eyeing an annoyed looking Bartholomew,"and we're here to get our final badges to challenge the Elite Four!"

Green looked around slightly intimidated by all these high level, powerful trainers. She nervously fidgeted before looking up at them and taking a deep breath.

"Um, well, I'm Green and I'm here to get my first gym badge from Brock." She said quietly, darting her eyes down to Machop who was looking up at Alex wildly looking like he was ready to fight.

Quickly, she grabbed him and sat him on her lap before he could do anything. She smiled at him and felt a little comforted. She looked up with a new found confidence to only have it shattered by everyone, except Matias staring at her in disbelief. She sunk back into her seat nervously, clutching Machop.

"You're new? We were watching your battle and we figured you had at least a few badges! I mean you wiped the floor with that kid!" Joey exclaimed, leaning forward to look at her closely.

"I told you guys, she's only got one pokéball." Matias murmured without looking up from his pokédex as he fiddled with it's open back.

Bartholomew shrugged and stood up, making his way past them and standing at the end of the two benches facing each other.

"I suppose it's natural, she has champion's blood flowing through her." He said snobbishly.

Green blushed and sunk further into her seat, she wanted to meet new people but this was way too much. Suddenly, the loud speaker system crackled and a voice called out.

"Bartholomew O'shiri, please come to the front desk for your battle." It called out in a monotone voice.

Bartholomew swooshed his cape and turned his nose up again.

"Impeccable timing as always!" He announced as he strode out of the training room and down the hall. As he disappeared a girl wearing long, white robes with scraggly black hair and crazy eyes passed him. She ran up to the group and proudly held out the Boulder Badge to them with an insane grin.

"Great work Crystal!" Alex exclaimed before leaning down to Green, who at this point wasn't even surprised anymore.

"This is Crystal, she's the ghost trainer of our group. Don't mind her eyes, she's not totally crazy! Just don't make any sudden movements okay?" Alex said in a hushed tone as they both looked at Crystal, keeping still.

She excitedly leapt onto the seat next to Green and pressed her face really close to Green's. Slowly, Green turned to look at her to see she was beaming at her wildly.

"Pretty!" Crystal yelled before hopping back and sitting on the bench with her legs crossed, staring off into space vacantly.

Alex gave Green an impressed look before punching her in the arm playfully.

"She doesn't usually speak, guess she likes you Green!" She said excitedly.

Green just nodded slowly and looked on straight ahead, still clutching Machop tightly. There was so much happening around her that she didn't even know what to do or say. On the bright side however, she wasn't horny anymore.
