Between the towering mountain ranges and soft shores of Cerulean River, north of Cerulean City, was the vast expanse of Cerulean Forest. Tall trees with thick trunks, old and untouched by man littered the land. Their leaves touched high above, layering to form an expansive green roof that sheltered the ground beneath from the world. Only a few small cracks of sunlight peered through, beneath them wild flowers bloomed, fighting each other for dominance of the sun. The forest was always peaceful, songs of Butterfree filled the air during spring and the gentle munching of leaves followed in the summer. Mankey played in the tree tops, leaping nimbly from branch to branch playing with each other and harassing any Pidgey or Spearow they came across. Pete walked between the small clearings between the trees. They were spaced evenly and uniformly for as far as the eye could see. Each space was just big enough for two people to stand side by side. His boots crunched against the dry, bare dirt. Each step heavy and reluctant. He knew what awaited him back home. The anger of his father and mother as they heard from Leia what he had done. Most likely he would be sent away to some remote station far away from anyone for a long time, at worst he would be disowned. His ranger's lasso and seal taken from him, his picture that hung in his father's office torn from the wall and his name whispered in the gossips of his fellow rangers. Pete looked up and sighed, the sunlight twinkling through the small gaps in the canopy above. His large, brown eyes soft with nostalgia as he remembered his days out of the academy. The freedom he had felt as he wondered Viridian Forest with his then Growlithe, keeping note of each and every Butterfree he saw. That feeling of not only being surrounded by nature but being a part of it, fulfilling his duty as a ranger to catalogue records on pokémon. So that they may keep the balance of nature in check.

His hands rested on his belt. If he were a trainer he would have felt six holsters, full of pokéballs with powerful pokémon inside. Instead he felt only the rubber grip of his ranger's lasso. The small, rectangular machine with grooves on either side for his hand to grip had been his prize for completing the academy. From it, if he so needed, a long golden string of energy would emerge. It would wind itself around a pokémon and bring them to rest, calm their anger and fear, and allow him to help them. That is all he ever wanted, not the glory and prestige of his family's name or the power his father held as head ranger. He simply wanted to be amongst pokémon and to help them live side by side with humans happily and peacefully. At least he had only wanted that. When his first siblings were born, the twins, he loved them dearly at first but as they grew and became more and more like his father. That love faded from a genuine care to a care of duty. The care he felt he must have for his family. A fake, forced love. When Abby was born, he feared the same would happen and did not allow himself to care but as she grew to be who she was. He found that care forcing it's way into his heart and he found himself with another want. He wanted to ensure she lived happily. As Pete inhaled the clean, fresh air of Cerulean Forest and smelt the twang of oak and pine in the air. As he remembered the dreams he had of a child of being a guardian and hero for all pokémon. He understood at last why Abby fought so hard for her dream. Faced with the prospect of losing his own, that drive to fight back against destiny was in his own heart now. A fire that made him blaze with anger, drown in sadness and quiver in fear all at the same time.

As he neared the edge of the forest, seeing the fields surrounding Yomato Manor poking through the treeline, he stiffened and paused. The distant sounds of rangers called out, thumps of victory in their voices. They seemed to cheer and congratulate each other as they ran, their boots thundering through the quiet forest. Soon however, they stopped and silence fell. A deafening silence as even the sounds of pokémon seemed to freeze around him. Pete knew what Pidgeot had done, he had heard it. The crashing of tree branches, the sigh of defeat from the Fearow and the cries of fright from his brother. He didn't dare turn back, the shame too great for him to bare. However, the fear of what lay ahead did not allow him to move forward either. He was stuck, hovering on the edge of the forest. He could see the house from here, his father pacing back and forth along the back porch. His mother Brianna sitting at a small table near him with her usual bored and apathetic stare. Griffith's second wife, Andrea stood at the railings peering back at him with a fearful look, clutching her hands to her chest. She did not see him, none of them did. Not even Tiberius with his well trained eyes, scanning the treeline with impatience. Behind Pete, the noise resumed. Shouts and yells filled the air, the panicked rumbling of footsteps scrambling echoing towards him. He heard Leia's shrill gasp over the top of them and soon her voice, stark with fear and anger dominated over it all.

Pete took a deep breath and stepped out from the treeline. Immediately, all four pairs of eyes on the porch snapped to him. He felt their unsure gaze bearing down on him. Pete tried to ignore them, ducking his gaze, watching his boots fold and press the grass down beneath him. The forest muffled the sounds behind him, muddling the different noises into one formless commotion. The sun beat down on him, the sky clear of clouds. It warmed his long hair, the heat trapping itself between his thick locks of auburn. He held his hand out from under the shade his wide brimmed hat provided, letting the light heat his pale palms. As he neared the halfway point between the forest and his house he felt a shift in the uneasy, suspicion coming from the porch. Andrea gasped, Tiberius slammed his fist down against the wood railing, Griffith moved swiftly from the porch and even Brianna sat up from her chair with a wide eyed, shocked look on her face. Behind him, Pete heard the treeline open and the trundling of the footsteps rapidly approaching. He looked up from the ground only to be met with the tight, gloved fist of his father. It slammed him across the head, spinning his jaw and his entire body with him. Pete fell to the ground on his stomach, facing away from his father. Before him, being carried on a stretcher was John. Leia hurried along side him, desperately looking at their father for help. The rangers did not so much as glance at him, too focused on their objective. Pete felt the fight inside him of his emotions topple in the favour of fear as he watched John be carried past him, bloody and broken.

Nurse Joy peeled off the back of a band-aid, sticking the end to her finger as she tossed the bits of paper into a small bin. Carefully, she smoothed it across a cut on Abby's cheek. Abby was sat on the edge of a hospital bed, her arms, hands and face dotted with small band-aids. Her feet dangled in the air, the bed raised high. She said nothing, only wincing as Nurse Joy dabbed a cotton ball soaked in antiseptic against a small cut on her knee. Her face was stiff, her throat tight as fear crept around her mind. As Joy smoothed down the last band-aid she rose up to meet Abby at eye level. She only needed to raise her head, even down on one knee she was as tall as Abby sitting on her raised bed. While Abby met her gaze she did not truly look at Joy, her gaze looking past her. Instead, it was Dratini's eyes that caught Joy's. Wrapped around Abby's shoulders he gazed across at her warmly, still his body curled defensively around Abby's neck.

"Dear, you have to tell me what is wrong if you want my help." She said softly, grasping Abby's stiff hand.

Her words seemed to bring Abby back to her, her eyes flickered and began to well with tears. She squeezed Joy's hand, her bottom lip quivering as she fought through her tears to speak.

"I've fucked up Joy. I've ruined everything." She whimpered, squeezing Joy's hand tighter, "Pete, he's going to have everything taken from him because of me." She cried out, letting the words pour from her mouth.

She told Joy everything, about burning her father and uncle. About deciding to run away. About how Leia and John tried to stop her and how Pete had fought them. Even though he knew what the consequences would be. Joy listened thoughtfully and once Abby was done, she paused to think.

"Pete's actions are his own, you can't blame yourself for that. He's smart enough to make that decision knowing what happen after. You haven't ruined everything, not yet. There's only one thing to do now. Leave and complete the dragon tamer's trials so you're dream can come true. You have to make Pete's sacrifice worth it." Joy explained in a low, quiet voice, her eyes locked onto Abby's un-breaking.

Abby nodded solemnly, deep down she knew that's what she needed to do but until she heard the words the idea seemed abstract. The trials of the Dragon Tamer's Guild she knew well. She had read them over and over as she fantasised about one day running off to do them. Named the 5 Pillars Trial, it involved the training and raising of five different powerful pokémon. Each said to be the only descendants of dragons in Kanto and Johto. Dragonair, the winged orange dragon that roamed the seas helping sailors in trouble belonged to Kanto. Kingdra, the sea dragon that creates the very storms that trap sailors from deep below the waves. While both regions had one official dragon each, three other pokémon were considered to be once dragons too. Gyarados, the fearsome sea serpent that evolves from common Magikarp. Charizard, the rare and powerful flame pokémon with the body of a dragon. Aerodactyl, the long dead ancient pokémon only able to live in this world once resurrected from fossils. These five pokémon are considered not only some of the most difficult pokémon to raise in all of Kanto-Johto but the five pokémon who keep draconic energy alive in regions were it is scarce. Once a trainer presents these pokémon to the Guild of Dragon Tamers and proves themselves, only then will they be recognised as an official Dragon Tamer. She looked over at Dratini, his eyes waiting to meet hers. His gaze was expecting, waiting for Abby to speak. She knew him well enough now that nothing but what she truly desired would suffice.

"You're right, I'll do it." She said, a smile sweeping across her face as the words escaped her mouth.

Dratini nodded approvingly and rested his head on her shoulder, relaxing. Joy smirked and stood up, towering over her. Abby wiped the tears from her eyes and hopped off the bed, hugging Joy tightly. Her head pressed against Joy, just below her breasts. As they embraced Joy stroked her hair with a sad, soft look on her face.

"Go make your dream come true Abby, for Pete's sake and mine." She whispered, her pale hand gliding between Abby's long auburn hair, "and you, keep her safe." She added, prodding Dratini's snout.

He fussed as she did before gazing up at her with a determined look.

"I'll miss you Joy." Abby admitted quietly, hugging Joy even tighter.

Joy nodded, her eyes moistening too.

"I will too but not just yet, I did promise you could join us tonight."Abby pulled back with a sheepish grin, blushing.

They laughed and embraced one more time before stepping back.

"Stay the night here, as head Nurse I have the say over what happens in these walls. No one will hurt you while you're here." Joy instructed, a stern protective look on her face.

Abby nodded excitedly, clutching her hands together as joy bubbled from within.

"Who's coming tonight?" She asked, her mind racing with images of all the fantasies she had dreamt up.

Joy chuckled and gave her a sly smile, taking a step forward and clutching her shoulders.

"Well I'll be there, you'll be there, Misty, some of the girls that train at Misty's gym and a new girl called Green. Although she's more of a maybe, she did say she'd come but she seemed rather down last time I saw her." Joy answered, watching with an amused smile as the names made Abby's eyes sparkle with wonder.

They made their way out of the room and back to the lobby. No longer busy it was quiet and still, only a few trainers remained. They sat on the various couches and chairs all the same red as the roof and desk of the pokémon centre. In their hands they read books, magazines and pamphlets all found in the bookshelves lining the sitting areas scattered about the lobby. Beside them, pokémon of all different shapes and sizes rested or curiously explored. Some would run into one another, greet each other happily and pair off to play. While other's kept their distance, eyeing each other suspiciously. The white heels of Nurse Joy's thigh high boots, tied tightly around her thighs with long interwoven laces clacked against the shiny, white sterile floor. The boots made her stand even taller than she already was, forcing her to duck under the ring above the desk and healing area. The ring was one long screen that looped above the desk, showing the weather, time and date as well as any news. The results of the challenges to the Cerulean Gym flashed past. Only one result appeared.

"Green Isamu and Machoke: Loss, Time of Match: 3 minutes 23 seconds"

Abby recognised the name and turned to Nurse Joy curiously, following her behind the desk. The ring passing clearly above her head.

"Is this Green girl a trainer?" She asked as she peered over the top of the healing machine at the various glowing pokéballs.

Nurse Joy nodded, sitting down on her red leather office chair. She spun around in it to face Abby.

"Yes dear, only new with one gym badge. She's your age if I remember correctly. Poor girl was struggling with her Machoke, I reckon it evolved prematurely from the way it was acting during that battle. I almost had to close the computer, it was heartbreaking really." Nurse Joy looked around before leaning forward, "she's the one that came in last night." She whispered.

Abby's interest was sparked and she whipped around with an intrigued look.

"Did her Machoke do that to her?" She whispered back, looking a little more excited that she ought to.

Joy shook her head and smirked at Abby.

"No, just some horny wild Gravelers." Her eyes analysing Abby with amusement.

Abby pursed her lips, imagining it in her head and guiltily feeling envious. She looked over at Dratini on her shoulder, he was glancing sideways at her with a knowing smirk. Abby blushed hard and snapped her eyes away from him. Joy giggled, Dratini and her sharing a knowing exchange. The setting sun cast an orange glow over them all. Abby felt the warm tingling of anticipation in her stomach as she knew when the stars came out and the centre was empty, her fantasies would become reality.

The TV in Misty's dark room made the walls flicker and dance with light. The large double bed in the center of her room was covered in a big, thick light blue doona. The pillows, piled up at the head matched that blue with a rare white one to break it up. While the sounds of the movie did trickle out quietly from the TV, it was the giggles from Green and Misty that filled the room.

"No way." Green giggled with disbelief, shyly peering down at what Misty was holding in between them.

Misty smirked proudly and pulled the enormous dildo she was holding across the sheets, placing it between her naked thighs so that it rested against her stomach. Green's jaw hung open slightly as the tip reached the bottom of Misty's rib cage.

"Yup, every inch!" She exclaimed, smirking at Green.

They were knelt on her bed, still completely naked. An assortment of dildos and other sex toys lay scattered on the bed, some fallen onto the soft blue carpet below.

"That's all of them, now tell me about yours!" Misty demanded, tossing the monster dildo aside and leaning forward, placing her hands on Green's thighs.

Green blushed and recoiled nervously.

"I've only got one." She admitted, feeling her cheeks burn as Misty laughed, "It's a vibrator, the ones with the vibrating head."

Misty reached for a toy on the bed, holding it up for Green.

"Like this?" She asked, holding her own pink vibrator.

Green giggled and nodded, her chest tightening as Misty waved it around. Misty smiled slyly at her and leaned even closer, so close that their noses touched. Her hands slid further up Green's thighs, pressing against her firm hips.

"Wanna try one of mine?" She asked, squeezing Green's hips roughly.

Green looked at the assortment of sex toys with a timid excitement. Misty had toys Green had never even imagined before. Of course there were dildos and vibrators, those she knew of. But amongst the collection Misty had a dildo with two ends, so long that it coiled up like a rope. A whole set of butt plugs from tiny ones only 2 inches long, to giant ones that were so wide they made Green's ass tighten with fear. She had a dildo that was mechanical, it could thrust on it's own, turn inside you and vibrate all at the same time. She even had a set of silicone eggs which Green could only imagine the purpose of.

"Or should we save our strength for tonight?" Misty asked, her voice dripping with lust as she leaned forward more, making Green lay back on the bed.

Green looked up at Misty, her eyes fixated on her small perky breasts. As Misty straddled her, Green brought her hands onto Misty's hips and smiled up at her.

"Will I need it?" She asked, her excitement clear as day on her face.

Misty placed a hand next to Green's head and hovered her face above hers.

"If I remember my first time at one of these clearly, then yeah. You'll definitely need it." Misty gazed at Green hungrily before kissing her roughly, taking a handful of her breast.

Green leaned into the kiss, squeezing Misty's hips as their tongues danced around each other. No longer did she feel stiff, or scared to move her hands. It all was becoming much easier even feeling natural to an extent. As they made out, sloppily sucking on each other's tongues and grasping at each other's bodies, Machoke suddenly entered Green's mind. Sharply, she broke their kiss, startling Misty.

"Do some pokémon just not feel connected with humans?" She asked quietly, averting her gaze away from Misty.

Coming out of nowhere, the question baffled Misty for a moment. She sat upright on Green's stomach and folded her arms as she thought. Her eyes looking up and to the side, her tongue clicking in her mouth.

"Well, pokémon experience sexuality like we do. Some are only attracted to women or men and some can be asexual. So I guess so. But from my experience, pokémon no matter their sexuality still find humans attractive." She answered slowly, the answer seeming to form as she spoke.

Green sighed with a defeated look.

"I wonder if my pokémon is asexual." She wondered.

Deep down she knew that even if Machoke was asexual it wouldn't explain his behaviour but at this point Green was desperately grasping at any explanation. Even if it wasn't logical. Misty chuckled and shook her head.

"Your Machoke? I saw the way he looked at you after you caught that Mankey. If he's asexual, I am!" She declared, grasping Green's tits with both hands.

Green laughed, playfully swatting at Misty's hands. Misty slid off Green and lay next to her, sitting up against her pillows and running her hand over Green's cheek.

"Nah he's just confused, same thing happened with my Poliwrath when he evolved. One day he was a happy and cute little Poliwhirl, then he was a huge hunk of muscles and hormones. If I had to guess your Machoke probably likes you, a lot, but is just scared of getting close to you. He's a big powerful pokémon and you make him weak to the knees, it's confusing for him." Misty explained, smiling warmly at Green.

Suddenly she smirked and raised an eye brow at Green.

"He needs you to make the first move." She whispered.

Green's stomach dropped and she sunk back into the pillows. The idea of making the first advance flooding her with anxiety. Misty laughed seeing her reaction and hugged her.

"God you're such a bottom!" She exclaimed, making Green blush sheepishly.

Together they cuddled up on the bed, clinging to each other as they watched the movie. The light of the TV flickering off their naked bodies.
