Carefully, Green wriggled out of her sleeping bag taking care to not wake Abby beside her. Abby had little more than the clothes on her back, so they had decided to share the sleeping bag. Initially, Abby refused the offer wanting to just sleep on the ground, insisting she would be fine. However, as the chill of the night air set in, she squeezed in beside Green, shivering. It had been an awkward night, squeezed together in a sleeping bag meant for one. Each time Green moved, whether she was scratching an itch or trying to find comfort on the hard ground below she felt a twang of guilt. The thought she might be annoying Abby caused Green to freeze up and try to ignore the urge to move. Yet she always gave in. However, now that she was wriggling out of the sleeping bag she realised how heavy a sleeper Abby actually is. Even as the sleeping bag shook and Green accidentally kicked Abby's back, she didn't wake. Not even so much a groan in her sleep.

"Fuck." Green whispered, clutching herself as the cold morning air chilled her skin.

Groggily, she went through her bag trying to find something warm to wear, settling on the first warm clothes she found. A pair of sweatpants and a large hoodie that came down to her knees. Feeling snug, she parted the tent flap and crawled outside. She had to squint her eyes to see with only the faint morning light to help her. Everything around her was no more than vague silhouettes with faint orange outlines. Blindly, she stumbled across the barren dirt of their camp's little outcropping to where Machoke had slept. Too big to fit in their little tent and refusing his pokéball, he had made himself a makeshift little shelter underneath a tree with large fallen leaves. When Green arrived though, he was gone. On the ground, leading away from his shelter where a trail of his large footprints. Green followed them, shivering as the cold nipped at her hands and face. They lead her to the river, where Machoke was kneeling before the water, washing his face.

"Aren't you cold?" She asked, sitting down on the sand next to him.

Machoke, after splashing his face with water again, just grinned and shrugged. The details of his face were hard to make out, but Green knew them well enough to read them through the dark. Machoke put his arm around her, feeling the soft fabric of her hoodie with his hand. Green snuggled up to him and sighed happily as she felt how warm he was. His body radiated heat that penetrated through her hoodie, only to get trapped inside. When she pressed her chilled cheek against his chest Machoke jumped slightly, taken aback by how cold she felt. Immediately, he rubbed her side trying to warm her up. Green giggled and hugged him.

"Thanks, that feels nice." She murmured, shutting her eyes as she cuddled with him.

Machoke lay back on the sand and stroked her body gently, holding her firmly to his chest. Above them in the increasingly orange sky, stars faded away as the sun began to outshine them. Small, slits of sunlight peaked through the tightly packed trees and shimmered off the water. Together they watched the world slowly transform as night pokémon scurried back into the forest and were replaced with day pokémon. Hoothoot was replaced by Pidgey and Spearow. Spinarak's were replaced by Caterpie and Weedle. A lone Ghastly, hovered across the water dodging the sun rays as they grew in numbers. He noticed them watching him and poked out his huge, pink tongue before darting off into the woods. Machoke chuckled and gave Green's waist a gentle squeeze, lowering his eyes back to look at her. Green smiled back at him and lifted her head from his chest, placing her hand on it. She held herself up, scooting up further as she leaned to kiss him. Their lips touched and Machoke's gentle grip became more firm. Green's own hands glided across his chest and shoulders as they made out softly. Machoke's hand moved down her lower back and found her ass, gripping one cheek firmly. Green responded by kissing him roughly, flicking his tongue with hers.

"Machoke..." He whispered in a soft, deep voice as he gave her ass another squeeze.

With a smirk, Green swiftly slid her hand down along his stomach and found the waistband of his black briefs. She pulled at it teasingly, before sliding it down further and grasping his hard cock through his briefs. Machoke inhaled, shakily and clenched his jaw. He brought down his other hand and roughly squeezed both her ass cheeks, then slapped her ass once with his large open palm. Green gasped and laughed happily, massaging his cock with her small hand. She pulled away from his mouth and scooted downwards, grabbing his waistband. Hungrily, she stretched the elastic and pulled them down over his cock, letting it spring up. Green kept her eyes locked on Machoke's as she stroked it slowly and pressed her lips against his tip. Machoke smirked and took a handful of her hair. They stared at each other, watching as the ever-growing sunlight lit up their faces more and more. Green opened her mouth and as she had his tip pressing against the back of her throat she heard something that made her spring up in a flustered panic. The tent flap flew open and Abby burst out, stretching her arms.

"Good morning!" She yawned, freezing with her mouth mid-yawn as she saw them.

Green stood up and took a step away from Machoke, blushing hard. While Machoke just lay there with an amused smirk, his cock still hard and pointing up towards the sky. Abby placed her hands on her hips, raising an eyebrow at them.

"Well then, sorry for interrupting. Don't let me disturb you." She laughed, giving them a look that resembled praise before slipping back into the tent.

Green looked down at Machoke awkwardly, the mood ruined as she felt nothing but embarrassment. Machoke, reading the look on her face just chuckled and pulled his briefs back up. He got up off the ground and kissed Green on top of the head. Green shrugged at him sheepishly.

"Sorry, I'll make it up to you." She promised, standing on her toes to kiss him back.

Machoke seemed to like that idea and nodded with an excited grin. Green giggled and pressed her lips together, trying to hide a smile as she felt his eyes scan her body hungrily. Quickly, she scampered off back to the tent and hurried inside. Abby noticed her flushed face as she burst through the tent flap and laughed again.

"Seriously, it's no problem you guys can get back to it." She insisted, slinking a sleepy-looking Dratini around her shoulders.

Green felt like her face was on fire.

"I uh, no it's okay you- we should get going soon anyway." She stammered, darting over to her bag and hiding her face as she pretended to sort through it.

Abby looked at the light shining down against the tent and scowled.

"Yeah, you're right. We must have slept in too long. No way we'll make it to route 8 before dawn is over." Abby muttered, clicking her tongue.

Green pulled her face away from her bag and gazed at Abby while she wasn't looking. She looked at her with a concerned look and felt like she should say something about last night, about the meltdown Abby had. Yet, when she tried to form the words her chest tightened as she couldn't bring them out. Abby seemed okay now and Green didn't want to upset her again by reminding her of it. In fact, Abby catching herself and Machoke felt almost rude. As if she was rubbing their happiness in her face. Plagued with guilt, Green turned back towards her bag and started to find the clothes she actually wanted to wear today.

"Do you want to borrow some of my clothes?" She asked Abby quietly, still not looking away from the bag.

Abby smiled but shook her head.

"Nah it's fine, dirty clothes have never bothered me." She gestured to her clothes, mud stains dotting them.

Green nodded timidly.

"Oh, yeah okay then that's fine." She said quickly as she pulled out her jacket, followed by a pair of brown jeans and a white button-up shirt.

While she got dressed, Abby rolled up the sleeping bag and together they packed up the camp without so much as saying a word to each other. Abby seemed not to even really notice, Green's anxiety only get worse and worse. Especially when Machoke joined them as they set out and put his arm around her. Abby, oblivious to Green's internal struggle held up Magikarp's pokéball and released him into the river.

"Just keep following the river, it'll lead us the right way." She said happily, running ahead as Magikarp began to speed down the river with the current.

Dratini raised his head from Abby's shoulder groggily, watching Magikarp with droopy eyes as he leapt through the water. His eyes widened with excitement and he leapt from Abby's shoulder, joining Magikarp in the river. Together they swam, weaving between rocks and trying to outjump the other. Green watched them play from a distance and found her hand falling to her pokémon belt.

"Can't let them have all the fun huh?" She asked Machoke as she unclipped Graveler and Mankey's pokéballs.

Machoke slammed his fists together and beamed eagerly. A small smile appeared on her face and Green released her pokémon. Mankey took only a moment to look around before scampering up a tree and nimbly leaping from branch to branch. Machoke chased after him, racing with him along the river bed. Graveler on the other hand timidly watched them and looked up at Green unsure. Sympathetically, she placed a hand on his head.

"Go on, I'm sure they'll love to play with you too." She assured him.

Graveler fidgeted with his upper hands before timidly taking a step forward, only to look back at Green again. She gave him a small wave in Machoke and Mankey's direction. Graveler looked back in their direction and took a deep breath before tucking up into a ball. He rolled out after them, speeding along the sandy river bed. Green watched him proudly before looking back at Abby up ahead. She'd given up on keeping pace with her pokémon and just watched them from afar as she walked out of breath. Green took her own deep breath now and mustered up the courage to run up beside Abby. Together they walked in silence for a moment as she tried to piece together how exactly she wanted to bring up last night.

"Hey, Abby..." She began.

"Yeah?" Abby asked cheerfully.

"Sorry, you saw that before, I'm not trying to like flaunt Machoke and I's relationship or anything." Green apologised, keeping her eyes fixed to the ground.

Abby took a moment to understand what she was talking about before the recognition flashed across her face.

"Oh, no it's okay really." She assured Green, placing a hand on her shoulder.
Green looked up at Abby uncertainly.

"It's just after what happened last night… it just left like we were being insensitive." Green choked out, her words catching in her throat.

Abby gave Green a look that was a mixture of sympathy and amusement, chuckling gently as she gave her a hug.

"Don't worry about it okay? I promise it doesn't bother me, besides I have Dratini. It's not like your the only one with a relationship." Abby gave Green a reassuring squeeze, making Green laugh happily.

Green blushed, feeling a little embarrassed for being so anxious. Abby let go of her and stretched out her arms, yawning loudly. Her eyes met Machoke as he ran along with Mankey and Graveler. She smirked slyly and side-eyed Green.

"So, can you handle his size? It looks intimidating." She asked with a grin.

Green clutched the back of her head nervously and laughed.

"Yeah barely, he definitely pushed me to my limits," Green admitted, her eyes falling onto Machoke too.

Green pursed her lips thoughtfully before looking back over at Abby.

"You know something's been bothering me recently, both Graveler and Machoke have fucked me.

Won't that cause some tensions between them?" She asked, looking back over at Machoke and Graveler as they played.

Abby giggled and shook her head.

"Nah, most pokémon are non-monogamous they won't care," Abby explained as she skipped over a few stones embedded into the river bank.

Green smiled hearing that.

"Oh cool I'm glad, settling on one lover isn't something I wanna do right now," Green responded.

Abby nodded in agreement, her eyes scanning the water where Dratini and Magikarp were leaping along. Up ahead the river met a large lake the spanned out over a huge open area, creating a space where the sky opened up fully. The morning sun bounced orange beams of light off the surface, scattering up onto the trees surrounding the lake. Dratini and Magikarp kept close to the edge of the lake as Abby and Green walked along with it. Ahead, Machoke and Mankey were stomping through the water while Graveler kept a good distance away, wincing as splashes flew his way. Machoke's huge, heavy steps splashed the water high above Mankey's head, bombarding him as it fell down around him. He cried out excitedly as it did, flailing his skinny arms and legs at the water. Occasionally, a wild Magikarp or Goldeen would swim over to see what all the commotion was. Only for Mankey to chase them through the water, getting a surprising amount of speed. Each time they would get away as he had to give up when the water reached over his head. When it did he would flail helplessly as the lake began to drag him away from the shore and Machoke would have to scoop him out. Graveler decided he had enough of edging around the water and rolled back to Green and Abby, waddling along besides Green.

"Hey, buddy," Green whispered, patting his head.

Graveler beamed happily at her touch.

"Grav!" He exclaimed excitedly.

Abby giggled before smirking at Green again.

"Hard to believe that he fucked you so hard you passed out, he's such a cutie." She joked.

Green laughed and shook her head.

"Nah it was his friends that did that, he was very gentle and sweet weren't you buddy?" She asked, patting his head again.

Graveler laughed awkwardly and clutched both pairs of arms together.

"Grav, Graveler." He murmured sheepishly, his eyes glancing up at Green's body.

Abby laughed happily and made her way to Graveler's other side, giving him pats too. As they both fussed over Graveler, showering him in pats and making him squirm with delight something caught Green's attention. To her left Dratini shot up out of the water and a huge bolt of lightning erupted from his mouth. He landed back in the water and smirked at Magikarp cockily who in return leapt from the water, trying to get higher by failing.

"How is it that Dratini can do that?" Green asked curiously.

She remembered Red teaching his pokémon to use moves outside their typing but he had never bothered to explain it to her. Even if he had, she would have been too young to remember it now. Abby looked up from Graveler at Dratini.

"It's called cross-typing, you see while pokémon have special connections to one or two energies they can also spec into other energy types. I guess Dratini can just tap into electric energies naturally. Although his lighting wouldn't be as strong as an electric type's lighting." Abby explained casually, dropping her eyes back down to Graveler and aggressively patting him.

Green gave Abby a puzzled look.

"How come you know that?" She asked cautiously.

Abby shrugged.

"Cross-typing is like super important for the five pillars challenge, like to evolve Magikarp I gotta train him to use flying type energy." She replied with a slight mutter, not really paying attention.
Suddenly her eyes widened and she beamed at Green wildly.

"When we get to the meadow let's have a pokémon battle, I've always wanted to have one and you're a trainer it's what you do!" She insisted, springing up excitedly.

Green laughed and nodded.

"Alright sure, don't expect me to go easy on you though." She quipped.

Abby nodded with a serious, determined look that only made Green laugh harder.
After a few more minutes of walking across the lake's shore, they reached the tall, thick intimidating tree line. Abby recalled Magikarp and gestured for Dratini to come over. He quickly slithered from the water, across the ground and up her body to her shoulders. Green did the same, returning Mankey and Graveler but leaving Machoke to clear a way for them through the thick forest.

"Once we arrive at the route recall him too okay? We need to cross quickly and quietly so no one sees us." Abby instructed in a hushed voice.

Green nodded and looked up at Machoke who gave her an approving nod. He began clearing away the mass of tight, thin branches, using his large powerful arms to snap them out of the way. Abby and Green said nothing to each other as they followed Machoke, tense tight looks plastered on their faces. Again, Abby moved with ease through the forest while Green still occasionally tripped on a root or got whacked in the face by a branch that didn't snap. The light disappeared above them as the tight canopy shut out the sky once more. Once they reached the border of the forest Green did as she was told and returned Machoke. Abby poked her head out into route 8 to check if the coast was clear. To her dismay, on her left was a ground of rangers guarding the entrance to the underground path. Luckily, they didn't spot her and she was able to swiftly duck her head back into the treeline.

"Fuck, rangers." She whispered, clicking her tongue.

Green thought for a moment before grabbing Mankey's pokéball.

"I'll distract them, we can make a break for it then." She suggested, holding up the ball.

Abby looked at it unsure but Green released Mankey anyway. Mankey looked around excitedly, expecting to see something to fight.

"Alright, pay attention Mankey I need you to do something okay?" Green asked.

Mankey focused his erratic energy and locked eyes with Green.

"There are some people over there, I want you to distract them while Abby and I run across to the other side of the route okay? Once we're across come to find us." Green instructed quietly with a hushed whisper.

Mankey considered the instruction before beaming excitedly. Immediately he ran up a tree and swung towards where the rangers were. Abby and Green readied themselves at the treeline, waiting for Mankey's distraction. Mankey scurried across the barren, hillside that was next to the thin bit of forest that jutted into route 8. He collected a handful of stones as he did and fixed his eyes on the rangers. They lounged about looking bored, their Growlithes sleeping at their feet soundly. Mankey sneered and took aim, hurling a stone at the back of a ranger's head. He spun around, shouting with confusion. Mankey threw another, hitting him square between the eyes. This time he saw Mankey and pointed at him angrily. The other rangers spun around and stared at Mankey, pointing too. Immediately, their Growlithe were awake and bounding up the hill at him. Mankey snickered, threw one more stone before scurrying down the hill towards the Growlithe. He leapt over one, landing on another's back. Nimbly, he jumped from him dodging the third Growlithe's attempt to bite him. His teeth instead sunk into the other Growlithe's back, making him yelp. In the confusion, Mankey bolted down the hill, dodged around the ranger's legs as they stomped at him and disappeared into the forest behind the girls. Abby and Green had scurried across the route quickly during the distraction, found an opening in the tree line and disappeared from sight. Behind them, they heard the confused shouts of the rangers but they were quickly muffled by the tightly packed trees.

"Man! Key!" Mankey exclaimed proudly when he found the girls again, flexing his arms from a high branch above them.

Green laughed and waved to him.

"Good job buddy!" She called to him as she released Machoke from his ball.

Dratini watched Mankey curiously from around Abby's shoulders, a small smile on his face. Again, the group continued through the forest. However, the forest quickly started to thin out as they ventured further in. Soon Machoke no longer needed to clear a path for them and any roots sticking out were easy to spot. Above them, the canopy thinned and the sky shone through, letting flowers and grass grow below where there had only been dead leaves up until now. Mankey followed them through the forest, gleefully leaping from tree to tree, seeming to get more and more excited as the distance between the trees got wider. Terrified Pidgey shot into the sky as he crashed onto their branches, while Spearow perused him angrily through the treetops. However, whenever they were about to catch him he would spin around and kick them in the head, sending them crashing into the trunks of the trees. They would spiral down through the air before catching the air with their wings and fluttering off. Mankey, getting bored of annoying the birds set his mischievous eyes on Machoke. He grinned and ran ahead of him, lying in wait on a branch. As Machoke passed by underneath Mankey leapt from the branch screaming wildly. Casually, Machoke stuck out his arm and grabbed Mankey out of the air. Laughing as Mankey squirmed in his grip, throwing a frustrated tantrum. Machoke threw Mankey high into the air, back up to the branches. He grabbed ahold and stuck out his tongue at Machoke before scurrying ahead with a seething look.

"Be nice you two!" Green called out from behind them, not able to hide her own laughter.

Suddenly Abby clutched Green's arm excitedly and pointed ahead.

"Look look! We're almost there!" She shouted excitedly.

Up ahead the trees thinned out completely and revealed a huge open area with lush, soft grass. Wildflowers decorated the meadow, making colourful patterns in the grass. Grand oak trees were dotted about the meadow, tall with mighty trunks. Unlike the trees of the forest, their trunks were free of branches, with their branches only at the top making up their lush canopies. The heads of Pidgey and Spearow poked out, chattering happily to each other as they flew to and from their nests. Rattatta scurried about the grass, playing and fighting with one another. Mankey eagerly joined them, throwing himself at a Rattatta and blindsiding it. A river cut through the far side in a bend, coming out from the forest and curving through the meadow only to return back to the forest.

"Let's make camp there, we can use the river to wash up," Abby suggested, running out into the meadow excitedly.

Green looked around the beautiful scenery with awe. The open space reminded her of Pallet's rolling plains. With the sun beaming down on her skin, she excitedly ran after Abby with Machoke following behind. The grass was soft and springy underfoot, with no hidden roots to trip her. Combined with the wildflowers, they worked together to make the air sweet and vibrant. A much-needed change from the stale air of the forest. Once at the river she released Graveler. He looked around at the scenery with the same awe, the vibrant colours a vastly different visual experience than he ever got in the dull caves of Mt Moon. Surrounding the river's shore, the fine dirt was all muddy as it mixed with silt. Graveler eyed it hungrily and rolled over, eating up the mud and small stones scattered about eagerly. Machoke decided to sit on a rock by the river and let his feet soak in the cool water. He smiled and sighed happily as the refreshing water washed over his feet and shins.

"This place is amazing," Green exclaimed dreamily as she set her bag down by a large boulder.

She rolled her shoulders and sighed exasperatedly, the weight of her large bag making her shoulders stiff and sore.

"Yeah it's great, Pete used to take me here when I was little," Abby responded with the same dreamy tone.

She lay back in the grass with her hands behind her head, looking up at the clouds floating across the now clear blue sky. Green joined her, lying beside her. The soft grass felt amazing on her sore back.

"If only we could just stay here forever…" Abby sighed, closing her eyes as she took in the peaceful aura the meadow gave off.

"Well, at least we'll be here for a while," Green replied gingerly.

Abby giggled and nodded.

"Yeah." She agreed.

Together they relaxed in the grass and Green couldn't help but find herself looking over at Abby's face. The overhead sun had lost its morning hue and now shone with its typical white light. The light caught the freckles on Abby's pale face and seemed to make her auburn hair shine. Green gazed at her brown eyes as they lazily followed clouds above in the sky.

"Great. Horny again." She thought to herself.

As if she had read her mind Abby looked over at her.

"Hey I thought I'd just let you know, I'm really only into pokémon. It's just that we're pretty openly sexual with each other so I thought I'd just let you know just in case." She explained sweetly, beaming at Green.

Green's mouth gawked for a moment as that caught her off guard before she quickly closed her mouth and nodded stiffly.

"Oh yeah, okay no problem." She answered swiftly.

Abby laughed and rolled over onto her stomach, leaning on her elbows as she smirked at Green.

"Although, I'd totally be down to fuck our pokémon together if you wanna." She added slyly, glancing over at Machoke.

Green blushed but felt her heart race with excitement.

"Y-yeah, that sounds like a lot of fun." She said timidly.

Green looked at the bulge in Abby's pocket where Magikarp's ball was.

"So is it only Dratini that's sexual of your pokémon?" She asked.

Abby looked down at Magikarp's ball and grinned.

"Well if I remember the document Nurse Joy made about it, Magikarp are actually born sexually active." She answered in a low voice.

Abby looked up at Mankey who was still fighting with the Rattatta.

"Oh yeah, Mankey isn't by the way. You gotta wait until he's a Primeape." Abby added.

Green looked over at Mankey too.

"Yeah that makes sense, he acts like a kid." Green agreed with a laugh.

Abby got up onto her knees and smirked at Green excitedly.

"Come on! Let's have that battle, but you can only use two of yours so it's fair." Abby insisted as she leapt to her feet.

Green rose from the ground and nodded in agreement.

"Yeah that's fair, I'll use Mankey and Graveler then." She agreed.

As she said the names both Pokémon looked up from what they were doing at her. Graveler rolled over straight away while Mankey stood watching curiously as a Rattatta writhed under his foot, pinned the ground. Green patted Graveler's head as he arrived and waved at Mankey.

"You wanna fight buddy?" She asked him eagerly.

Mankey's eyes lit up the word and he scurried over excitedly, releasing the Rattatta. He hopped up onto Green's shoulder and clung to her neck as he looked around eagerly for his opponent.

"Do you know how the rounds work?" Green asked as she walked a few paces away from the river and readied herself.

Abby nodded confidently.

"Yeah, when we release our first pokémon they define the first round. Round one only ends when either of those pokémon is beaten, even if we switch them out!" Abby called back as she ran a good distance away to form their battlefield.

They stood either end of the river, with the river to Green's left with a stretch of both muddy and hard ground between them. Machoke noticed what they were doing and got up, sitting by the boulder with Green's bag instead out of the way. He watched curiously with an analytical look.
Green gave an impressed smile.

"Okay just checking!" She called back before considering both her pokémon.

"Okay, Mankey you go first." She whispered to him, gesturing ahead of her with a nod of her head.

Mankey beamed excitedly and leapt out onto the ground, yelling and shouting excitedly as he flexed his arms and hopped back and forth. Abby released Magikarp into the river, which was calm and still with little to no current. He watched Mankey from the water with narrowed eyes, keeping most of his body underwater.

"Seeing as you challenged me you can have switch priority! So you get a free switch if you beat one of my pokémon but if I beat one of yours the round continues with no pause!" Green called out to Abby.

Abby nodded and gave a thumbs up.

"Okay, sure! No complaining about when you lose though!" She called back cheekily.

Green smirked and placed her hands on her hips.

"You ready Mankey?" She called out.

Mankey looked back at her and nodded wildly with a devilish grin.

"You ready Magikarp?" Abby called out too.

Magikarp nodded calmly, his eyes focused intently on Mankey. Seeing the nod Mankey bolted towards the river straight away, scampering on all fours. He leapt at Magikarp, extending his leg to jump kick him.

"Slap him away!" Abby called out with giddy excitement.

Magikarp leapt from the water and slapped Mankey away with his tail, narrowly dodging the kick. Mankey cried out in confusion as he was sent flying back onto the grass. He bounced once before nimbly flipping back onto his feet. Magikarp laughed and sunk beneath the water. He bobbed back up and spit a harmless stream of water at Mankey. Mankey cried out angrily, stomping his feet as she glared at Magikarp.

"Mankey!" He screeched and bolted at Magikarp again.

Magikarp prepared to do the same move, readying his tail.

"Bite his tail Mankey!" Green called out as Mankey leapt at Magikarp.

Mankey smirked and as Magikarp's tail flew at him again he bit down, latching on and splashing down into the water with Magikarp. Magikarp panicked, jetting around the river and smacking into the rocks as he tried to get free of Mankey's jaws. All the while Mankey was wailing on him with frenzied attacks, never letting go of his bite. Eventually, Magikarp tired and floated to the surface in defeat. Reluctantly, Abby admitted defeat and recalled Magikarp. Mankey flailed about in the water until he floated to the shallows and ran from the water. He smirked at Abby cockily and puffed out his chest.

"Don't get cocky little guy that was just a Magikarp." She teased, holding out her arm so Dratini could slither off onto the ground.

Mankey frowned unhappily and stomped his feet.

"Mankey! Mankey! Mankey!" He cried defiantly.

Dratini yawned, looking at Mankey groggily as he had just been napping on Abby's shoulders. He watched Mankey with an unimpressed look.

"Get him, Mankey, one hit should do it he's frail!" Green called out to him.

Mankey's ears peaked and he snapped out of his tantrum. He locked eyes with Dratini and bolted towards him along the grass. Abby simply folded her arms and raised her eyes to Green's with a smirk.

"Use Dragon Rage." She instructed calmly.

Dratini opened his mouth and his eyes glowed purple but only for a moment. A ball of purple energy formed in his mouth and in the blink of an eye it hit Mankey and exploded. It moved so fast that the explosion formed before the high pitch sound it made when fired reached Green's ears. Mankey flew through the air back towards Green, skidding across the ground and kicking up mud. Where he had been was now a small crater surrounded by singed grass. Mankey lay unconscious in the mud and Abby cheered triumphantly. Green grimaced and recalled Mankey.

"Ouch." She whispered, feeling bad for him.

She looked down at a terrified looking Graveler and smiled softly.

"Don't worry, I've got a plan." She assured him.

Warily, he gazed up at her and then back at the crater in the ground. He gulped and timidly rolled out onto the field.

"You ready?" She called out to Abby.

Abby gave a casual, cocky nod as she continued to revel in her victory over Mankey.

"Use Rollout Graveler." She instructed gently, giving him a warm smile.

Graveler nodded cautiously before curling up and speeding towards Dratini. Abby pointed at Graveler.

"Dragon Rage again!" She cried out.

"Strafe Graveler!" Green responded instantly.

As Dratini opened his mouth to fire another Dragon Rage, his eyes darted back and forth trying to predict Graveler's movements. Graveler strafed back and forth in wide swings, slowing down slightly as he changed directions. Green caught that mistake before Dratini however and called out again.

"Mix up the pattern!" She cried.

Graveler started moving in more erratic patterns, sometimes taking wide swings and sometimes darting back and forth in short bursts. As he approached Dratini panicked and fired the purple ball charging in his mouth. It zipped by Graveler as he dodged out of the way and exploded behind him, the explosion sending a shock wave through the ground. Graveler ran over Dratini, his enormous weight knocking him out in one blow. Abby recalled him straight away with a gasp and looked down at the ball guiltily.

"Sorry, Dratini..." She whispered sadly.

Graveler looked back at Green with a surprised but exciting look. He waddled back over to her happily, pumping his upper fists into the air.

"Good job buddy nice moves!" She laughed before planting a gentle kiss between his eyes.

If Graveler could blush he would have as he sheepishly grinned at her. Abby made her way over to them, sulking slightly.

"Maybe battling isn't for me." She muttered, looking at Dratini's ball with a pained look.

Green shrugged, making her way over to her bag and pulling out the small healing machine. She placed Mankey's ball in it before carrying it over to Abby.

"Well you don't have to battle your Pokémon, plenty of people raise pokémon without battling. But anyway it was only your first battle don't feel too down okay?" She assured her with a comforting smile, holding out the healing machine to her.

Abby placed both Magikarp's and Dratini's pokéballs in the machine, her frown softening as she saw the golden light glow over the surface of the pokéballs.

"Yeah, I guess." She agreed with a shrug before smirking slyly, "I think there is something way more fun than battling you can do with pokémon." She added cheekily making Green laugh.

Green put down the healing machine and bonked Abby on the head playfully.

"Calm down the horny." She said with a giggle.

Abby flashed a grin and gave her a challenging look.

"Me? I saw the way Misty was looking at you back in Cerulean, you two totally fucked!" She exclaimed, shoving Green playfully.

"Shut up!" Green gasped, laughing uncontrollably now.

Abby threw back her head and roared with laughter, running off.

"Oh my god, I knew it!" She yelled triumphantly, screaming happily as Green chased after her.

"Shut the fuck up!" Green laughed out as she ran after Abby.

She grabbed Abby around the waist and lifted her into the air. Abby flailed while laughing hysterically.

"Horny girls go in the river!" Green yelled menacingly as she carried a flailing Abby over to the river.

Abby cried out and kicked at her playfully.

"Fuck off you're the horny one! You go in the river!" She yelled as she tried to break free from Green's surprisingly strong grip.

Green flung Abby into the river with a huge splash before running in after her. Abby surfaced from the water, tears of laughter in her eyes.

"Greeeeen! Our clothes are wet now!" Abby laughed, folding her arms at her.

Green shrugged and splashed her.

"The sun's out, we'll just put them on a rock to dry after." She assured her with a smirk.

Abby splashed her back and the two got into a splash fight. Meanwhile, Machoke watched from his seat by the boulder with an amused grin. He rose to his feet and slowly strode across the grass towards to water with a huge grin on his face.
