Chapter 38: Welcome to Ireland

We make it to Ireland and exit the airplane. I immediately begin stretching and rubbing the sleep out of my eyes. We make our way through baggage claim once again then walk out into the main part of Dublin Airport. I spot a figure moving towards us and quickly notice that it's Jax and Kozik. They walk up to us and hug Chibs, Tig and Happy. Jax shakes Nero's hand then moves to stand in front of me saying, "Wow, they really decided to make their presence known didn't they?"

I grin and hug Jax saying, "They definitely did. They're trying to prove that they are still there."

Jax lets out a little laugh before saying, "Well, I rented a van for us to all drive to Belfast in. I figured it'd be better than catching the bus or getting a rental car. They've got extra motorcycles for us at SAMBEL that we can use while we're here if we want to. You guys might also want to call Clay and let him know you're in Dublin then turn the cells off. I've got a burner for each of you in the van."

Tig moves away to call Clay as Nero says, "Jax can I speak with you alone for a minute?"

Jax moves to the side with Nero and I turn towards Chibs who says, "Welcome to Ireland, lass. I can tell ye Scotland is still more beautiful than Ireland is, but I'm biased."

I let out a laugh before saying, "Before we go back to Charming, I do want to go and see Scotland, Chibs. I know you grew up here, but I also know you were born in Glasgow, so I'd like to see it as well."

Chibs gave me the biggest grin before saying, "Aye lass. We shall."

Happy shook his head at the two of us saying, "Are the rest of us invited? I'm not going anywhere until Reba does."

Chibs and I looked at each other for a minute before Chibs said, "Aye, I guess ye can join. I guess everyone can join."

Tig walked back up to us and put his arm around my waist saying, "Alright Clay is expecting us to call him in about 5 hours if we rent a car or 8 if we take the bus to Dingle. So that gives us time either way to figure out what we want to say."

Kozik shook his head and chimed up saying, "You don't have to tell him anything just that you're there and you'll check in once every few days while you're visiting Chibs' mom."

Tig sends a slight glare at Kozik before saying, "I figured we'd tell him something along those lines. I just meant in a generic sense."

Jax and Nero walked back to our group as Happy said, "Don't start anything you two. It's not worth it."

Chibs placed his hand on Tig's shoulder saying, "Aye. We aren't trying to draw attention to ourselves either."

I step in between the boys saying, "If you two don't stop, I promise you I will lock you in a room to sort out your differences when we get to SAMBEL."

They both took a step back and hung their heads in an almost comical fashion. Jax let out a laugh saying, "She's 30 weeks pregnant with twins and just put two SAMCRO members into their place with a threat you'd use on children. Reba, if I wasn't married, and you weren't with Tig, I swear I think I'd kiss you full on. This is great."

Chibs shook his head saying, "Aye, the two of ye aren't going to live this one down for a long time."

Jax grinned again saying, "I can't wait to tell Wendy and mom."

Happy let out a laugh himself saying, "Jax, man, we should consider letting girls be SAMCRO when you take over as President. If Reba's little 4 foot nothing self can put Kozik and Tig in their places, can you imagine what she could do if she was a member at 18? We wouldn't have any trouble with anyone. She's pregnant and still scary."

I grinned at Happy as Tig said, "Okay, babe. We'll stop. Don't worry about it. You ready to go?" I nod my head as he turns to Jax saying, "Alright man, lead the way."

Jax gave me another grin before turning to lead us out the airport and to the van. He spoke as we were leaving with, "Nero has requested that we make a quick stop somewhere. He said it shouldn't be long. Is that okay with everyone?" We all nod our heads at Jax and he continues leading us to the van. We load up and start heading towards Belfast and as we drive I rub my stomach with one hand while Tig holds my other. He kisses me on the forehead and I drift off for a few minutes. I wake up when I feel the car come to a stop Jax speaks up saying, "Alright, Nero is going to run in here. Who wants to go with him?"

Tig speaks up from behind me saying, "I'll go in there with him for sure."

Nero looks him over before saying, "Yeah that's fine. You can help me pick out a ring for Gem."

Chibs jerks his head saying, "Oi, you're going to ask her to marry ye?" Nero nods his head at Chibs and Chibs says, "Good luck and early congratulations. Why don't ye take Jax with you as well. He knows his mum pretty well. Reba, Happy, Kozik and I will walk around outside for a few minutes. Gives us a moment to stretch our legs."

Jax nods his head saying, "Sounds like a plan to me. Want to meet back here in about 30 minutes?"

We all agree and Tig helps me out the van. I go to grab Tig's jacket off the seat. He pulls me to him asking, "Are you cold baby?"

I shake my head before saying, "No it actually feels really good out here."

Tig gestures to the jacket saying, "What's that for then?"

Looking around I say, "I forgot we were in Ireland for a second. I don't have to hide my belly."

He kisses my forehead before saying, "I'm sorry baby. You should never have had to hide your belly in the first place."

I shrug my shoulders saying, "Don't worry about it babe. I'm fine and we'll deal with everything before long. My next pregnancy we won't have to worry about it." Realizing what I said I quickly add, "If you want more kids that is."

Tig hugs me tightly saying, "Baby I want as many kids as you do. Maybe all my kids won't be sets of twins."

He lets out a little laugh and I hit him lightly on the chest saying, "Oh hush you. You better hope if we have anymore, that it's not more twins. I don't know how we'll keep dealing with that."

He kisses me again saying, "We'll figure it out if it comes to that baby, but right now let me just go in Argos here and help out Nero. I know you're excited to meet Kaylee."

I nod my head and Chibs walks up to me as Tig walks towards Jax and Nero. He hugs me from the side asking, "Do ye want to see a castle?"

I quickly look up at my brother saying, "I'd love to see a castle. Is there one nearby?"

Chibs nodded saying, "Aye lass. There's one about 3 minutes away walking. It's called Carrickfergus. It's not the biggest castle in Ireland, but it's beautiful."

I smiled quickly before yelling towards Happy and Kozik, "Boys! Let's go. Chibs is going to show us a castle."

Happy and Kozik walk up to us as Happy says, "Really? A castle?"

I nod my head as Chibs says, "Aye. Let's go lads and lass."

Kozik grins at us before saying, "This is my first time being out of the country on essentially a vacation. I mean I know we're still technically working, but this is better than being in Iraq or Afghanistan. It's my first real vacation."

I looked over Kozik in disbelief saying, "This is your first real vacation and you're how old?"

Kozik looked down saying, "I'm 27, but in my defense I did four years with the Marines. I met Kacey while I was in Afghanistan. She started sending letters. She said she got my name from a church thing. We became pen-pals and developed a relationship. Then I got in super deep with the club. Me and Kacey have all been trying to start a family too. It just never came up."

I shake my head saying, "What is it with you Marine boys and not wanting to do vacations? Tig's 28 and this is his first real vacation too. It's just crazy to me."

Kozik grinned slightly saying, "You're also basically on call 24/7 the first four years after you leave the Marines. If I'm doing my math right that means this is the first year both Tig and I aren't on call because he did 5 against my 4."

I move towards the jewelry store but I'm stopped when someone places their hand on my shoulder. I glance over my shoulder and see Chibs there who says, "Lass. Don't go starting anything. He didn't want to worry ye. I don't even think they would have called him back because he started getting tattoo after tattoo. From what I gathered, the Marine Corp doesn't like it if you're tattoos can be seen if you're wearing the standard green training uniform. Don't ye go yelling at him for not telling ye that he was still technically on call."

I shook my brother off saying, "That's not the point though Chibs. Tig and I have been together since March of last year. He's had plenty of time to tell me this. I mean literally it's been almost 2 years since we started dating. What was he going to do tell me if he got called back out for another tour? I mean that's big to keep from your significant other. He did lots of runs with the club in that time. He could've told me at any one point in time during that year. And obviously, you lot knew about it. Why couldn't you have told me?"

Chibs sighed before saying, "Lass. He asked us too. He didn't know how much he could put on ye. He didn't want to put that much on ye. The two of ye developed a really close friendship. Ye went to the hospital because of Unser. Ye told him everything that had happened growing up. Ye started a relationship. Clay had him start doing more runs. Then by the time he was about to lapse out, the two of ye conceived babes. So he never told ye. It's okay though. He never got called out."

I sent a slight glare at Chibs as Happy said, "Come on Reba. Don't worry about it. It's over and I still want to go see the castle. I suggest you hash this out with Tig tonight though when we make it to SAMBEL Clubhouse."

I nod my head saying, "You're right Happy. I shouldn't blame you guys if he asked you to do it." Turning to Chibs I ask, "Will you still take us to the castle?"

Chibs nods his head saying, "Do ye want to go now, or do ye want to get something to eat. If we get something to eat, we can make Tig, Jax and Nero walk with us to the castle."

I chew on my lip for a minute before saying, "Let's get something to eat. I am kind of hungry."

Chibs looks around for a moment before saying, "There's a place right over there called Papa Brown's. They have pretty good food. Plus they do American and Breakfast. Does that sound good, Reba?"

I nod my head saying, "Yeah. That sounds good Chibs."

Right as we go to walk towards the restaurant Jax calls out to us, "Hey! Y'all are back early."

Happy shakes his head before saying, "No brother. We never left. Going to get something to eat then walk to a castle. Is Nero done in there?"

Jax nods his head saying, "Yeah. He's checking out now."

Chibs chimes in with, "Good. That means ye can come eat with us then go to the castle before we head to SAMBEL's Clubhouse."

Tig and Nero walk out of Argos before seeing all of us standing there. Kozik walks over to the two of them and lets them know about the plan. Nero puts his bag in the van before he and Tig walk over to us. I school my features and pretend like I'm okay as Tig walks to stand next to me and kisses my forehead. I smile slightly at him before saying, "I'm going to walk up there with Chibs to the restaurant. I just miss him. Plus I think it'll be cool to see what he points out as we walk to Papa Brown's. I love you, Tig."

Tig smiles back at me before saying, "I love you too baby."

Alright guys. I hope you enjoy Chapter 38. I fixed last chapter where Kozik popped back up in Charming. I have no Beta so that was my mistake. He's now been in Belfast the entire week. I'm sorry if I got anything wrong about the Marines. I think I know a little bit about it, but I could be wrong. I am pretty sure my cousin was in the Marines and I know he did a couple tours overseas. If I got anything wrong, Please correct me, and I'll adjust this chapter. Next Chapter we are going to be getting a little insight into Tig's head. We haven't done that since Chapter 8. Also Please correct me if I got anything wrong about Ireland in this Chapter. I'm basing a lot of this off of Google and Google maps. From what I can tell, it's like I'm about Belfast as a whole, but still within it. I think. Someone, honestly correct me if I've got that wrong. Google maps does say that Argos, Papa Brown's and Carrickfergus are around the same area within walking distance of one another. I'm trying guys. I have never been out of the US before. I plan on it, but haven't succeeded as of yet.
