Chapter 2 : A secret i cant hide anymore Part 2
Flashback...
It was a day like any other Lincoln was ridding his bike around the neighborhood , enjoying this beautifull day until...
Not very far away from him Lincoln spots Haiku and Silas talking with each other. Lincoln was thinking that they are probably speaking again about goth and dark stuff.
"Is that how you truly feel?"asked Silas.
"Yes, after the accident i dont see you the same way i did before"said Haiku to him.
"Very well , but even so dont forgett about the meeting"said Silas.
"I wont, dont worry about that"said Haiku.
And with that Silas left Haiku alone. Lincoln didnt heard much but he saw there faces looking really different , more sad like something bad happened between them.
But this was not his problem so Lincoln not paying at all attention at the road Lincoln falls down from his bike hitting a mailbox that was in front of him.
The crash and noise was heard by Haiku who noticed Lincoln on the ground. Worried for him Haiku goes to see if everything is okay with Lincoln.
"Ouch, note to self pay attention at the damm road"said Lincoln getting back on his feet.
"Hey Lincoln are you okay?"asked Haiku appearing behind him that scared him falling back on the ground.
"Geez Haiku , you and my sister are really talented at scarying people off. But everything is okay dont mind me"said Lincoln to her.
"I take it you didnt paid attention to the road?"asked Haiku.
Lincoln was about to say something back , but realized that if Haiku hears he was listening to her conversation with Silas might upset her, so Lincoln came up with a little lie to save himself.
"Well...i was paying attention but then out of nowhere a black cat appeared and you know the saying if a black cat appears you get seven years of bad luck and before i knew it i fallen from my bike and hit the mailbox"said Lincoln getting again back on his feet cleaning removing the dust from his clothes until...
"Dont judge the black cat Lincoln"said Haiku looking at him really upset at him.
"Say what?!"said Lincoln not understanding why is Haiku looking so mad at him.
"Dont blame the black cat, because that thing with 7 seven years of bad luck is just a simple superstition"said Haiku to him.
"But... i always thought that goth people believe in that kinda stuff"said Lincoln.
"Well youre wrong, not all are like that take me for example"said Haiku.
"Huh?There not? Wait why i am being scolded anyway?Was i really that rude to her?!" said Lincoln to himself.
Lincoln decided it should be best to apologize to Haiku thinking that all goth people are the same.
"Okay, Haiku i apologize for saying stuff like that to you"said Lincoln.
"You better be Lincoln Loud"said Haiku preparing to leave not looking at the trafic light that changed color from green to red with a car almost hitting Haiku if Lincoln didnt acted really fast saving Haiku.
"Watch the damm road kids"said the car driver leaving Lincoln and Haiku alone.
"Ouch, what is with this day"said Lincoln to himself realizing the position he was with Haiku.
He was on top of her with not just that but there lips stucked to each other until...
"Crap, did i just kissed Haiku? Damm this so gonna cost me big time"said Lincoln to himself realizing what he just did to Haiku.
"That... that was my first kiss being taken away"said Haiku touching with her finger her lips.
Hearing that Lincoln feelt really bad that he took her first kiss away just like that.
"Umm... Haiku look i am so sorry for this. Can i make up to you somehow?"asked Lincoln worried what Haiku will say to him.
"You dont have to apologize to me Lincoln , it was an accident that happen mostly because of me"said Haiku.
"Well... accident or not i still stole youre first kiss , so i really wanna make up to you somehow just named and i will do it"said Lincoln.
Hearing that Haiku was a little impressed with Lincoln trying to take full responsability, so after some thinking Haiku started to speak again.
"Like i said you dont have to apologize to me , in fact i kinda am happy that my first kiss was with you"said Haiku that caught Lincoln off guard for what she just said just now.
Lincoln always though Haiku is a pretty girl, and every guy will be so lucky to hear her say her first kiss was taken away by the guy she might have a crush on.
Wait a crush?Why did he came to at such a conclusion? And why did Lincoln suddenly realized he just though Haiku is a very pretty girl.
Something was really wrong with Lincoln having these thoughts about Haiku.
First he was scolded then he was praised seriously something was wrong with this day like Lincoln said so a couple of minutes ago.
Both blushing and feeling embarrased when they looked at each other was a really akward situation until...
"Hey Lincoln"said Haiku breaking the sudden silence between them.
"Y.. yeah?!"said Lincoln panicking when Haiku spoke to him again.
"Did... did... you ever had a girlfriend?"asked Haiku.
"Huh?"said Lincoln when suddenly Lincoln spots Clyde coming down the road. For some odd reason he grabbed Haiku by the hand and hide with her behind some bushes till Clyde was out of sight.
After was nowhere to be seem Lincoln realized he was still holding Haiku by the hand and released her hand apologizing again and blushing also a little.
But wait? Why did he didnt wanted Clyde to see him with Haiku? Maybe because she still might feel something for him after the Sadie Hawkins Ball? Yeah that must be it or that was what Lincoln tried to believe.
Haiku comes closer to Lincoln whisper something to his ear and after that Haiku leaves Lincoln all alone by himself.
Back home Lincoln was in his bed thinking at what Haiku whispered to him.
"Meet me tomorrow after school huh?! said Lincoln to himself wondering what Haiku wanted .
The next day after school...
Lincoln was waiting outside looking at his arm watch, wondering when will Haiku appear she was already 20 minutes late.
"Hey Lincoln sorry for being late"said Haiku appearing behind him scarrying Lincoln again landing down on the ground from the shock.
"Man, when will i ever get used to this"said Lincoln getting back up.
"Anyway, is there something else you wanted to tell me after yesterday?"asked Lincoln.
"No just youre answer"said Haiku.
"My answer?!"said Lincoln wondering what she meant by that.
"Yeah...if you ever had a girlfriend"said Haiku blushing a little.
"Ohh that... sorry but no"said Lincoln seeing Haiku a little relieved from his answer.
"Wait a minute... do you by any chance want me to become youre boyfriend?"asked Lincoln.
"Maybe... maybe i kinda do and to be honest i really had crush on you"said Haiku.
"Ohh... really? Since when?"asked Lincoln.
"Since the Sadie Hawkins Ball"said Haiku.
Lincoln was surprised to hear since that time, he always thought Haiku will make a good pair with Clyde but that didnt happened from what Lincoln heard.
"I...i dont know what to say just... wow"said Lincoln.
"Just... think about it and please give me an answer when youl be ready"said Haiku to him kissing him again on the lips before parting way with him.
Again Lincoln was surprised at what just happened , his heart skipped a beat that made him feel really good being kissed again by Haiku.
The only girl Lincoln ever kissed in his life was Ronnie Anne but she and her family moved away so Lincoln moved on with his life, so heck why not start a relationship with Haiku, that was what Lincoln thinking at that moment.
Getting his bike and ready to leave Lincoln noticed Haiku blsuhing and smilling at him , she even send a kiss at him something you would never see Haiku do very so often but because of that Lincoln was again not paying attention at the road and falls from his bike again hitting this time a tree.
"Man, first a mailbox now a tree? I really must stop daydreaming when i am on my bike"said Lincoln looking at the audience.
